This is one of my favorite bras. Even though it is too small, I keep wearing it. I love the shape and is very comfortable. Great t-shirt bra

I know Freya Deco is a classic and I wanted to add one to my collection - I have tried and tried, but the plunge just isn't for me. My breasts are set slightly close together, and quite full on top, so anything plunge gives me way more cleavage than I want. Even in the correct size I spill forward and almost out. The quality is great, and I could see this being a perfect go-to if you are shallow on top or want cleavage and/or extra lift.

bought bra as very used, so take band length with a grain of salt. to me the band seems still quite firm, so it may not be as far from a new one as expected, but still, be aware. review to come later- since buying this i haven't worn it, because the first time i tried to it didnt turn out well. if i remember correctly, it was much too wide and also too shallow. may try bending the wires, but unsure if that will help much.
**EDIT**
finally around to reviewing this! band feels firm when worn, though not super supportive in my opinion. i think thats due in ... part to the worn out nature of this bra, and also to the material of the band. its the mesh stuff that freya often uses in their half cups. im a squishy gal and i dislike the feel of it, i like something thicker and sturdier. when its a thinner mesh with two strips of elastic at top and bottom, it always makes me feel lumpy, and those elastic bands are sturdier than the mesh so it feels awkward.
the cups are definitely too wide, though it mainly feels like empty space and less of a forward shape rather than a huge problem fit wise. the straps are in my pits, but i think i will bend the cups and see if i can get them narrower. it might mess with the band length then, but i will try it and see. because of how worn it is (bought it this way), its not as uncomfortable as usual to have the straps in my pits, because theyre softer. not sure if they will be a problem at work where im more mobile. the gore is low enough that i dont notice it being too wide, and the wings are a bit too low but its not a big issue for me.
all in all, its an okay bra, and i mainly bought it so i could have bras to wear to work (where theyll get wrecked) instead of wearing out my daily bras that i like. itll serve that purpose, and thats all i really want.
*UPDATE:4/18/17* so far i havent worn this much, if at all, because i find the band too snug and too flimsy. might still keep it just in case i lose a bit of weight, but im probably not reaching for it anytime soon.

**EDIT** ive added measurements, but ive worn it a few times so the band may be a bit longer. ive jut freshly washed it, and most of the time that brings the band back in if its stretched a bit.
NOTE: ive marked this as fitting in the cups, but one side fits well and one side is gaping. ive chosen to side with my well fitting side, since its the larger one of the two. additionally, the band now fits fine, but needed to be broken in with an extender first. i wasnt sure how to list that without it marking the bra as not fitting, so im ... going with how it fits now. the gore and straps are also technically too wide, but i seem to run into that everywhere, so im calling this a lesser evil.
technically, i think this cup may be too wide. i can wear narrower bras comfortably, and also the straps slide off from being too wide set. its still a ton better than most bras on me, so im dealing with it, but an ideal bra would be narrower, with closer straps, and an overlapping gore. the top of the right cup gapes a significant amount, probably a mix of that side being smaller and the straps being so wide that they get caught in my armpit and push the cup around. plus, the gore being too wide shoves the cup around and move how they fit.
the band on this was too tight for a while and needed and extender, but now is fine. i dislike the material of Freya half cup bands, because its a very thing stretchy elastic which lends itself to rolling, especially on squashier bodies like my own. instead of the two strips of thick elastic at the top and bottom of a thin stretchy elastic, i would love to see one uniform thick and firm material. i feel as though, when the band is the correct tension, i get heinous back fat.
im not a huge fan of the pattern, but this is one of my workhorse bras, so that doesnt matter much to me.

Nice material, make and design it was just too big in the cups for me, especially the top.

Love the rounded shape, uplift, cleavage this gives me. I feel like I could wear it all day. Straps are the softest material and is overall comfortable. I'm trying a smaller band recently, so I hope this bra will stretch a bit over time. I'm totally comfy in a 34, but a 32 is truly better support...

This bra was very lovely, but not quite the right shape for me. I think this was more for a full on bottom shape, and I'm very full on top. It may have been a cup size too large since there was some wrinkling in the bottom of the cup, but I know that if I'd gone down a cup size, it would have dug into the tissue at the top. The wires were too wide and the bra didn't give me enough lift. I felt like the apex was a little too low and the shape in profile was a bit torpedo-like. I did think the materials were quite comfy and of good quality, and I really liked the width of the band. I just think this particular style would be better for someone who is more full on bottom with wider roots.

This is the yellow colorway, which is VERY bright but I like it more than I expected to! Pleasantly deep for a plunge, the wires are wire but if you happen to have a "nike swoosh" IMF then you may like this particular bra. Gives me an oh-so-slightly pointy and oh-so-slightly E-W shape, I get that in unpadded Freyas generally though. Side wings are lovely and low, strap separation is fine although maybe a touch on the wide side (standard Freya), gore tacks great. I think the shape may be the ultimate decider, though.

My third and final attempt with the Freya Marvel. I have no idea why I was so determined to get a fit with this bra -- but I now admit defeat.
Attempt 1: Size 32F. Too small but this was my fault; I figured there was NO WAY I could fit into an FF; the calculator over at ABTF was defective. So I bought a cup size down. Too tight all over, quadding like crazy.
Attempt 2: Size 32FF. Much better but I still had some spillage. Plus, it actually minimized me by a good inch or so. Then I read that this bra ran small/tight in the cups. Ah ha! I must need yet another cup size up to get a perfect fit.
Attempt 3: Size 32G. I fill out the sides and bottom on the bra but there is now a good bit of gaping at the top after vigorously S&S. Sadness.
I now think this bra is a bit too shallow for me...Live and learn, I guess. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The Freya Deco has been my go to bra for a long time... but now I'm starting to grow out of it, I guess? I've always found that my breasts get pushed together and spill out the front of the cups. I also get wrinkling at the bottom of the cups becasue they are too shallow (I guess? Or my breasts are just too heavy, lol.) These issues seem to be getting worse. I still love the shape the Deco line gives, and it had solid padding without feeling like you are adding to your cup size. I think the width of ... their cups is perfect for my shape, ad I don't get poking under the arms liek with so many other bra. All in all, the Decos are awesome but I'm currently exploring other bra options, so see if I can find other favorites.
I light the spotlight model becasue of the extra material along the cup opening. I find this helps with some of the spillage I find with the Deco models. This bra is used, but still in excellent condition.

The Carly model is so cute! I like the pattern on the bra and the ribbon along the top of the cup actually helps keep my breasts contained better than the plain Deco models. This particular bra has been well loved, but is in good shape.

Cute and comfy. I like the silver accents on this bra, but it is ever so slightly wider than I like my bras. It doesn't take away from the fit at all, and I'll continue to wear it.

The underwire is really not comfortable. They tried several different sizes to see if one would be better but none worked.

I just can't wear plunge bras like this; my boobs fall out of the front. Other than that, this bra gives me a nice round shape; if only they had something similar with a higher gore!

The 32 band is way too big for me. The bands on these bras fit true to size. This is a padded bra, which I've discovered I don't really like. I've tried this and one in 30G and it's only now that I learned why I don't like to wear them. I have short roots and the cups are too tall for me. After adjusting the straps and clipping the j-hook it feels like they take up too much space.

I recently lost a large amount of weight after two pregnancies and an extended period of breastfeeding. At my biggest, I was bursting out of a 36J. As my breasts have lost volume, I've found that the only padded half-cups give me a rounded shape without too much wrinkling of loose skin at the top. This Freya has been my savior throughout my weight loss journey. It is comfortable and forgiving of soft tissue and looks okay even when the cup isn't completely filled. I started wearing this bra when I was a 34H and stepped down a couple of times to my current 32G. I should probably ... be wearing a 30G now, since the band on this one is a bit looser than I like and the cups are gapping. But, since I've changed bra size SO often in the past ten months, I'm going to keep wearing this one until I start falling out of the cup and then reassess.
FYI... I have a short torso and have had trouble in the past with tall wires poking my underarms and rubbing them raw. The Patsy doesn't do that at all. Yay! No more blood blisters in my armpits.
Oh, and another FYI regarding colors. I have owned this one in most of the available color combos. Be forewarned that the blush pink/brown dot is VERY visible under clothing. None of the other colors have this trouble. So, if you don't want everyone to see polka dots though your shirt and you don't want to always wear a camisole, avoid the pink/brown version of this one.

without an extender, this bra band is too tight. unlike most of Freya bands, this one is made of an awesome thick material that is much more sturdy than the thin mesh like bands on bras like the Totally Tartan. because the band is too tight, it also skews the cups wider and shallower. with an extender, it a little better, but this bra is definitely still not right. ive worn it one or two times, but the fit is too poor to put it in my rotation
on my larger L side, the cup seems like an okay fit, except for right near the gore where it doesnt ... lay flat completely. it lifts up *just* a bit, and if i push it down all the way, i get a bit of quadboob. it doesnt bother me much, but it probably means i need more cup depth all around. especially since, on the smaller R side, i get almost NO gaping, which is very uncommon for me. if the L side fits, the R side usually gapes.
in addition, on the smaller R side the cup does this weird thing where the upper edge folds from *within* the cup. its the strangest thing, and i cant get it to photograph. the odd thing is, this exact same weird fold/rolling thing happens in the other size i have in this bra, also in the same place on the right hand cup. im not sure if its because the cup is too shallow, or what, but no amount of washing and smoothing it down to dry will reshape it. its been this way since i got it, brand new.
i think the wires are too short on the sides as well, so i shove them from the gore into the underarms since the gore cant lay flat anyway. even then though, i slide back out the sides after a few minutes of wear. the straps are a bit too wide, like nearly every half cup ever, but they are thicky and stretchy so i can probably deal with them. its uncomfortable to have them sitting in my arm pits, but experience tells me i would probably get used to them over time.

I knew in my heart that this bra was likely to be not projected enough, but I still tried it because it was in my recommendations. I wish that someone had encouraged me to follow my gut and NOT try it, because now I am super sad that it doesn't fit well. The combination of wide wires and shallow cups causes me to spill out of the center and top of the cups, which is disappointing because this bra is ADORABLE. I love the colors and the pattern, and what's even more, I love the feel of the fabric, which is super soft and silky and feels awesome! I'm super picky about fabrics so this is saying something. Anyway, not a fit. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Womp womp. Why can't the plunges come in this fabric?!

Oh yeah, I eyed that bra for a long time, wanting to try it but knowing it wouldn't work.
Comexim has the Comexim Free Time (270) in a nice plaid that reminds me of the Totally Tartan's blue colourway, though of course not the same. I've been considering it.
There totally is a plunge model of totally tartan. It's model 1421 and will be narrower and more projected than the half cup model.
measurements are of a VERY used bra, so take band length with a grain of salt. review to come later- since buying this i haven't worn it, because the first time i tried to it didnt turn out well. the band has lost a lot of its support because its stretched out and thinner than when new. im thinking of trying to add elastic pannels to the band, but im not sure how to go about that or if its even worth the effort.
Updated on Sep 18, 2015 Flag this
Too bad this doesn't work for you! I do believe that there is also a totally tartan plunge that is supposed to be much more projected. I don't know if it's made from exactly the same fabric but I would expect do.
