Renee 605 in 65J I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
The Renee is a semi soft bra with light foam lined bottom of cups and a very stretchy white lace on top. The pattern is a dark grey with little white daisies and red centers, both in cups and band. In comparison to the Maxi line Renee, which has a black band, the regular line Renee is prettier and more esthetically pleasing.
Renee in 65J was my first attempt at a Gaia bra. I had went up in cup ...from a UK 32G/30HH so I was in the market for new bras, and wasn’t familiar with Gaia or Polish bras, and logically went with what they listed as a UK 30J. When I ordered this one, I really thought it was dots not daisies. I didn’t mind the daisies, it was just surprising to see when it arrived as the stock photos on Amazon didn’t portray this.
The best thing about the Renee bra is the stretchy lace tops. They are super accommodating, far more than any UK bra I’ve ever tried in the past. This stretchy lace is great for asymmetry, as well as hormonal and weight fluctuations, plus softer breast tissue.
On this 65J, the band measured 23.5” to 30.5” at max stretch with 2 hooks and 3 rows of eye loops.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 13”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
My only real complaint (as not fitting isn’t a flaw of the bra just my sizing guess) would be the area of the bra that has the hooks is black, while no other part of the bra is. It looks a bit odd, with the cups and band being a dark grey.
I tried the Renee regular line in 65J, 65K, and 70J, as well as the Renee Maxi in 70K and 70L.

I tried the Renee regular line in 65J, 65K, and 70J, as well as the Renee Maxi in 70K and 70L. The Renee in 70J was the third attempt at the Renee, and overall the largest in the cup. The cups in this 70J were indeed larger than the 70K & 70L Renee Maxi cups, which was disappointing.
Renee 605M in 70K I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
The Renee Maxi is a semi soft bra with light foam lined bottom of cups and a very stretchy white lace on top. The pattern is a dark grey with little white daisies and red centers, and a black band in back. In comparison to the regular line Renee, which has the same cup pattern on the full band, the regular line Renee is prettier and more esthetically pleasing.
Renee was one of the first Gaia bras I tried. I fell in love ...with the stretchy lace tops which were far more accommodating that most bras I’ve tried that have a stiff lace. This stretchy lace is great for asymmetry, as well as hormonal and weight fluctuations, plus softer breast tissue.

I tried the Renee Maxi in 70K and 70L, as well as the Renee regular line in 65J, 65K, and 70J.
In comparison to the other Renee bras I tried, the Maxi cups run smaller than the regular line Renee, even though the cup sizes are larger. This seemed to be a general consistency with the Gaia Maxi line bras that I tried.

Ida Maxi in 70K I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Ida is a semi padded bra, in tan with small black dots over a thin foam lining, and sheer black lace tops. The cups have 3 sections-2 vertical on bottom with 1 horizontal on top. The quality of the Ida Maxi was much better than the other Maxi line bras I have from Gaia. The lace top section is stretchy but not by a lot.
The band measures 24.75” to a max stretch of 31”, with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes ...as standard.

Sienna in 70I I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Sienna is a semi padded bra, with light foam lining on the bottom of the cups for support, and sheer lace tops. The pattern/color of Sienna is white with blackish-blue flowers and black lace upper cup. The pattern reminds me of the blue willow print found on China patterns from the pre 70s. My grandmother had this pattern on her dishes when I was a child, though it was bluer, while this is more of a very dark blue almost black.
The band ...measures 23” to a max of 32.5” with 2 hooks and 3 rows of eyes which is standard for Gaia’s 70I cup.

The shape this one gave was far from appealing. For me, the cups were way too small (one of my first attempts at Gaia sizing) and it gave me torpedo boobs. The top lace has no stretch to it at all, so if you exceed the unstretched cup measurement, the only give is from the bottom of the cups and of course the typical resulting quad boob. Not appealing at all and I wouldn’t recommend if you have any upper fullness.
Litsa in 65J / Litsa in 65K I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Litsa is a full padded bra of beige with black lace over the whole bra. It is a half cup style, and the padding is light foam lining, more for support than volume. The straps are adjustable multiway, allowing for a variety of options from regular, to halter, to backless, crisscross, single strap etc. It is similar in shape and style to Gaia’s Gina bra. I tried this bra in both 65J and 65K, but returned the 65K ...before taking pictures, so I’ve combined the review for both in one for simplicity.
The band measured 23” to a max of 29.5” with 2 hooks and 3 rows of eye loops on the 65J, and 23.5 to 29.5” with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eye loops on the 65K.

The cup height was 6.75” on the 65J and 7” on the 65K. For me, this was neither deep enough nor tall enough to accommodate my breasts, resulting in both quad boob and escaped nipples that sat above the cups instead of within. If they made it in a 65M/N, I think it would have worked.
Great for enticing your partner, not workable under any shirt, even a sweatshirt otherwise. I really wanted this one to work, as I love the demi style half cups as well as the multi functional straps. Alas, another that didn’t work for me.
And yes, I do realize I was in denial of what size I really needed, but I had difficulty accepting my new growth, and the idea of any “cup” labeled above a K seemed really too big in my brain. The concept of EU vs UK sizing method was new to me, so I did not understand why the J-K cup didn’t work, figuring it must just be a shape/style mismatch…….a year later, I feel like such an idiot as I revamp my original reviews and notes, especially with these Gaia bras. I really loved the patterns and styles, and so wanted them to work for me!

I do love the pattern and wish it had been available in a large enough size. I really like the lack of lace, as it doesn’t get hooked by other bras in my drawer like the lacey ones always do. The cut of the cup is more accommodating than most bras, so it would work for more shapes than the tight laced closed in on top bras.
I really loved the Gaia patterns and prints, as well as price. It’s such a disappointment that they don’t expand their size range, as I’d love to be able to wear dozens of their designs. ☹
Paulette Maxi in 70L I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Paulette is a semi padded underwire balcony bra by Gaia. It has a light foam lining on the bottom of the cups for support, and sheer lace on top. The pattern/color is smooth heather red on bottom with red rose patterned lace tops. The center gore has the sheer lace as well. There are 3 parts to these cups.

Laia in 70J I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Laia is a semi padded underwire balcony bra with light foam lining on the bottom half of the cups and sheer lace on the top. The pattern/color is white with small “whispy” pastel flowers and white lace with large bright light blue flowers on top. The key feature of this bra is the center, which connects at the top of wires and across the bottom but is hollow in-between for a peek-a-boo gore. Really unique and sexy.
The band measures 26” to a ...max of 32” with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes, though usually Gaia 70J bras only have 2 hooks.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11.5”

Julianne Maxi in 70L I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Julianne Maxi is a semi padded bra in black with yellow cream squiggly patterned lace over the whole cup. It has a light foam lining on the bottom of the cups. The lace is not stretchy, which usually makes the bra less accommodating than most. It has 4 parts to the cup compared to the typical 2 to 3 parts.
The band measures 25.5” to a max of 31.5”, with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eye loops.
Cup Depth as measured ...by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 12”

Unlike most of Gaia’s Maxi line, the cups on this one are not as small, and while they lack stretch to them, the cup shape is altogether fuller than most Gaia Maxi bras. The Julianne is more accommodating than any of the other Gaia Maxis I tried. I cannot say if this is a rogue exception to the Gaia Maxi running small rule, or if I just happen to get a single bra that was made larger, all I know is the rest of the Gaia Maxi’s I tried all run smaller in the cup, with the 70L running smaller than the 70J in their regular line. Another positive oddity with the Julianne Maxi was the quality. While most of Gaia Maxi bras are less than ideal in regards to quality, the Julianne was actually very well made.
Ginger Maxi in 70K I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Ginger is a padded semi-demi bra. The padding is a light foam lining. The pattern is tan with micro white dots and white accents, same as Gaia’s Gina. The cups have 3 sections-2 vertical on bottom with 1 horizontal on top, and the straps are stationary, not removable or changeable.
The band was 26” to a max stretch of 33”, with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape ...measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 10.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 12.25”

The cup on the 70K maxi is smaller than the 65K Gina, and the same unstretched measurement as the 70I cup, but with ¾” less stretch making it smaller than the 70I as well. Also, for some reason this Ginger bra has a center gore spacing of a full inch, making it far wider spaced than most Polish bras. I’m used to the center gore wires basically touching, if not overlapped, so this was odd.
So far every Gaia bra I’ve tried in the Maxi has been smaller than their regular line by roughly 2 cups, making the Maxi line basically useless unless you’re just wanting a tag that says a higher cup size. I’ve also found the quality of their Maxi line to be much lower than their regular line.
I am so disappointed! I love the pattern and wanted it so badly! The matching panties are so cute as well, so I now have 3 bras with the matching panties and can’t wear them other than as a half cup for my hubby’s eyes only, but definitely not doable under clothes as it looks bad.
I got most of my Gaia bras from my treasured Polish bra supplier Magda (Tomahuka on eBay & www.Bras4You.com) as well as the matching panties. Magda offers excellent customer service, and gives you a free random pair of panties with orders of 2 or more bras!
I also tried Ginger in 70J, plus Gina in 65K, 70I, and 70J. Gina is similar to Ginger except for the cups are in 3 vertical sections and more of a demi style than the Ginger. Unfortunately for me, none of the fit, and I had to accept that I was not going to have a lovely Gina/Ginger set to wear

The band measures 22.5” to a max of 34”. This makes it great for a 28 band to a comfortable 32 band. There are 3 hooks ...and 3 rows of eyes.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 10.2”

The cup height was 8”, and the straps are wide set, which is a common issue.
I also tried Ginger Maxi in 70K, plus Gina in 65K, 70I, and 70J. Gina is similar to Ginger except for the cups are in 3 vertical sections and more of a demi style than the Ginger.
Gina 555 in 70I I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Gina is a padded demi bra with removable multiple straps. The padding is a light foam lining. The pattern is tan with micro white dots and white accents, same as Gaia’s Ginger. The cups are in 3 vertical sections.
The 70I was the first size I tried in Gina, because based on a looser underbust measurement, their chart recommended the 70 band, and the “I” cup was the largest available at the time. I should have done a firmer measurement, but I ...wasn’t familiar with Polish bras or sizing yet, and didn’t want it to be too tight, and really wanted to have this bra.
The band of the 70I measures 23” with a max stretch of 31”, and has 2 set of hooks with 3 rows of eyes. The straps are wide set, but can be cross backed to alleviate this some.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 10.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 13”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. The cups had a height of 6.5”. I also tried Gina in 65K and 70J, and Ginger in 70J and Ginger Maxi in 70K which is similar except for the cups is in 2 vertical sections on bottom and 1 horizontal one on top.
Gina 70J I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Gina is a padded underwire demi bra. The padding is light foam, without additional or removable pushup pads. The straps are removable/multi-way, and there are 3 vertical sections to the cup. The pattern is tan with micro white dots and white accents, same as Gaia’s Ginger.
The band measures 22.75” to a max of 33” with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any ...resistance. This measurement is: 11.5”

The cup height was 7.25” and the straps are wide set like most brands, but you can do them as cross backed to alleviate this some.
I also tried Gina in 65K, 70I, reviewed separately. In addition, I tried Ginger in 70J, and Ginger Maxi in 70K which is similar except for the cups have 2 vertical sections on bottom and 1 horizontal one on top. Please see all 5 reviews for comparison of size, fit, and details.
Blake 508 in 65J I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Blake is a semi padded bra that is white with a black flower pattern reminiscent of Zentangle paisley and black lace tops. The bottom of the cups have some stretch, but the top lace does not. This can result in flattened tops as well as quad boob.
The band measured 24” to a max of 31.5” and has 2 hooks with 3 rows of eyes.

While I loved the pattern of this bra, no amount of wishing was going to make this one fit. Read more 165 more words
