The most important thing to know: the band runs smaller than in other brands I've tried (the "80E" feels more like a 75F, which also creates a small muffin top below the armpits). I'd definitely recommend sister-sizing it to an 85 band as a starting point.
The cup shape itself fit me pretty well. The 3-part sewn cups have enough space towards the front to accommodate my projected shape. Only the straps with ca. 31.5 cm between them are too far apart for my narrower shoulders.
This Bra is a good inexpensive basic quality bra. It’s nice that it’s not made in China but still very affordable. Unfortunately this bra is too big and the straps are too far apart. The cups are too big for me the wires are too wide and the cups come up too high, for being quite wide the cups are not shallow either. I would guess that this is maybe two cups bigger than a UK 32G and more of a 32/70:11. The band is stretchy but feels true to size so I would recommend just sizing down one or two cup sizes if you are interested in this bra.
Bands are stretchy, you may need smaller band size. The lace fabrics on the top of the cups doesn't stretch. I'm FOB, center full, projected, narrow and soft tissue. I can't find fit bra so I decide altered my bra. The bra before altered is here; https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dixgg/
I have a little quad boob on my big side yet, but almost good. Gaia have closed top so I guess people with tall roots get quadding. If you cut the upper lining tape, maybe some models works well, like this.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered band,
altered narrow that wire and gore myself.
Single lace fabric that don't layered on cup, also don't stretch. I have quad boob in Gaia's 65E semi soft, so I tried one size bigger, but too big for me.
Dull green colour bra, has no side bones. The laces at the top of the cup is single, didn't layerd, didn't stretch. Slightly big cup, too wide wire for me.
This is slightly narrow and projected Gaia. It's very helpful in this range. Unfortunately, this is closed open top, so happen quad boob. Upper fabric is not stretch lace. If this has more tight band, I'll say love it a little more.
This is SS1 cut that have narrow wires and high centre gore, find hardly. Upper fabric is stretch lace, closed like another Gaia. I have very soft tissue so I like this cut.
Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this to try on! My shape: FOB, soft tissue, narrow roots/shoulders This bra technically fits me, but it's not a style I am comfortable wearing. I feel like I could spill out of the top at any minute. It's a padded 2 vertical seamed bra, with no top lace or horizontal top part of the cup. The gore ALMOST tacks, but not quite. The straps are rather wide, especially compared to other Gaia styles I have tried in this size. The straps are hooked to the front, so you could remove them if desired. The black lace over the beige cup is really pretty.
Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this to try on! My shape: projected, soft tissue, narrow shoulders and roots, FOB Fit: Strangely enough, this bra doesn't fit me as well as the other semi-padded Gaia bras I have. The lace at the top of the cup doesn't lay flat, and I'm too afraid to alter it myself; I don't want to ruin another bra! This bra is so cute. I love the black and white paisley print.
I really like the looks of this bra! It has tiny daisies in the pattern with wide white straps, black band, and red accent bows. Lovely! (Thank you Mandapandarawks for sending it to me!). The style is shallow and I think I'm caught between two cup sizes. While the smaller cup looks better, it doesn't want to stay in my IMF and the gore doesn't tack. However, the height is a good fit. Stretch lace is attached to the stiff padded cup. This seam shows through my shirts as a sharp ridge and I think it's because the gore is being pushed away from my sternum.
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. (Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this to try out!) Appearance: Padded, 3-part cup with white stretch lace. The pattern is dark gray with tiny white daisies. The back strap, however, is black, which is ok, but doesn't really match the rest of the bra. I think it would have been better if it was dark gray or white. Anyways, I cannot comment on the fit, as it's too large in the cup for me.
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. (Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this to try out!) Appearance: Padded 3 part cup with dark gray fabric and tiny white little daisies with red centers all over. The lace top of the cup is white and stretchy, and the fabric is silky soft. The back part of the band is black? which is weird because it totally doesn't match. I can't comment on the fit, as it's not my size, unfortunately.
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this bra (and many others!) to try on! Appearance and Fit: This bra is the same fabric as the Gina balconette. (You can see my review for that one here: https://www.bratabase.com/bra/diur2/) This fits differently, of course, as it's a different cut, but the straps and the wires are too wideset for me. The underwire pokes into my armpits: not painfully, but enough so that it's annoying. It's odd to me that this size of Gaia bras doesn't fit me, even though it's technically my "correct" bra size. The sister size, 65I, fits me so much better. The gore doesn't tack on the 70J, which leads me to believe there's not quite enough projection or depth in this cup. Plus, I always get gaping on bras that don't have the stretch lace tops. The band on this one feels a touch stretchy, but I really think it's because I'm so used to Ewa's tight bands.
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this bra (and many others!) to try on! Appearance and fit: This bra is a really cute, soft cotton bra with an interesting pattern that looks like eye charts from an optometrist's office. The straps are a wider, stretchy elastic, and are set pretty wide. (Though, since the bra is a couple cup sizes too big for me personally, that could account for the extra wideness of the strap placement.) The cups are three-piece construction, with a seam down the middle of the front of each cup. I can't really comment too much on fit, since it's too large for me. If this is close to your size, however, I think this would be a great bra. It's soft and cute and well-constructed.
