I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.

Alina is a padded bra in Ecru (off white). The padding is the typical light foam lining, more for support than adding volume. The material is super soft, with a nice pattern on the cups and lace over the padding on top.

I returned this bra, one of the few I’ve ever opted to return, and unfortunately I didn’t take pictures prior to share. Sorry :/

The band measured 23.5” to a max of 30.5” with 3 hooks and ... 3 rows of eyes.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 11”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 13”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

Straps are wide set, but not as bad as some of them.

If the cups would have fit, I really would have loved this bra. I’m not big on white bras, but ordered it because it was cheap and I was trying to figure out my sizing still after spending a small fortune of Gaia/Gorsenia bras that didn’t fit. I know it would be comfortable in the right size, as the material is so soft and felt great on the skin.

Too wide for me. I've got quad boob effect as Danute, but it's deeper and better than Danute.

Great bra, will be part of my rotation. Lightly padded, fits perfectly, gives me round shape. It looks good under a t-shirt which is basically my only criteria. The pattern is meh, I prefer plain bras.

The band tighter than SS10. The shallowest in Gaias that I have. It looks this have no enough immediate projection at the bottom of the cup.

I really loved the lightness of this bra. It’s like wearing nothing, and extra stretchy. So I think sizing down would be best in this style. I’m not sure why I ordered a 40! when I measure 32/33 for comfortable bra fit.

As you can see the bra pushes my beast together far more close than I’m used to. It’s extremely soft but I overflow in the cups. The band with just two hooks doesn’t feel supportive enough.

    • FWIW, you can get the model information off of the tag. If you take a closer picture of it, I'd be happy to tell you what it says, so that you can enter this in as its rightful model. :)

    • Ugh, duh. I totally didn’t think of that. I tried to edit the model but I couldn’t.

    • Jj help please?

    • What's the new code? A picture of the bra tag can help as well :)

    • Ah, found it! I edited it.

I really want to love this bra, but it's just not quite right for me. I think this bra might be a better fit for someone with more fullness on top than I have. The bottom of the bra cups are lightly padded, with one vertical seam running up both. The top part of the cups are made of lace with elastic at the very top to help it tack to the breast. I think it would work better for me if the padded part was a few centimetres taller and if the lace was stretchy. In spite of these issues, this is a super comfy bra.

Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, very soft tissue, fairly centre full, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

Ok, beyond being highly disappointed that this so called Gaia S9 cut is totally different than the Gaia Annika Soft (553) S9 cut, I like this bra, even though it doesn't fit. It is too wide in the cup, the straps are set slightly too wide, there are only two hooks, and the straps are smooth stiff elastic and so the slides might slip.

The whole cup stretches only on the bias, which smooths everything, including the assymetry in the top. Nice broad straps, wonderfully high wings and decent centre gore. Standard band and cup sizes, firmer wires, good shape and construction. Very soft lined cups, no side boning, and firm back band stretch knit.

Aaaaah! I love everything about Gaia but their inconsistent wire widths!

Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, splayed, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

An unfortunate almost! cups a bit too wide, straps set too far apart, just, and not quite enough immediate projection. I also get some in cup quading. I think it is because the straps are almost too short - I have them extended all the way and the immediate projection wrinkles bring the appex lower on my breast than it needs ... to be. I would size up a cup, but the upper part of the cup is as loose as it could be.

For Gaia, I band size up like Comexims - they are pretty size equivalent

This is a really beautiful black and white bra! The front of the frame is a houndtooth pattern and with the checked and textured edge ribbon, it is really classy. I was expecting some problems with the ribbons at the top of the cup, but none at all! The mesh and ribbon top of the cup is not elastic but is fairly generous - accommodates my centre fullness and average to tall roots with a little room to spare. Really FoT probably can't manage though. For some reason, the wires feel narrower than they measure - I think it is because of the shape - it angles out half way up the wing.

It is a really really nice shape. Very round and very front and centre. Not quite Cleo Marcie, but really close.

I think I will sit on it for a bit and see if I can't alter it.

    Edit:
Alteration: I put a half cm dart in the top edge of the cup just inside the strap attachment. Has brought straps a touch narrower, has caused no quading, resolved in cup quading. A little wrinkling in top cup mesh at dart, but not enough to bother stiching. Still not quite a perfect fit, but pretty darn close. And it's just so beautiful!!!

Side note: dart is almost invisible becayse of checked pattern on ribbon and while I was aware of it when I first put it on, I quickly stopped feeling it at all, even when moving around. Once the bra was on long enough to really settle into place, I could only feel it at all because I used waxed quilting thread, which is easy to work with and sufficiently strong, but ... waxed, stiff. The thread will relax with a little wear and I don't expect to be able to feel it at all. I'm really liking this strategy, this is my second attempt and having the extra room on top gives me just the room I need to pull the straps inward a touch.

I band size up for Gaia as do with Comexim. Fit is comparable.

This bra has an interesting feature new to me. The bottom part of the cup has two layers. What I would call the "normal" layer of transparent mesh on the Inside, with a bathing suite type spandexy layer on the outside. I cup sized up for this model ... and it was a very sensible thing to do as I am at the larger end of my cup size in other Gaia models. The top part of the cup is stretchy lace on top of a layer of stretchy mesh. I would call this bra thoroughly lined, without being padded in any way. It gives my FoB highly immediately projected natural shape a super lift. The shape is pointier, but, by no means conical. However, It gets its lift from very wide set and heavey duty straps in a real balconnette style. In spite of fitting everywhere else, the straps really dig in. The narrow wires help in that the straps do not attach actually under my armpit as some Panache and Curvy Kates can, but it is not wearable.

Gaia has a couple of styles just like this with the spandexy outer layer. I can see the attraction and the pattern is very pretty. But the strap set is just impossible. Three hooks and very wide straps, in this size anyway, and a sturdy set of wires thicker than my other Gaias. The 70J is classified as a "Maxi" size where 70I is still the regular model. I suspect the "Maxi" classification means that I am normally not quite heavey enough to justify the extra support.

Top of the cup does cut when I move around so FoT or tall roots might have trouble.

Nice, expandable side boning that is making me fall really in love with this brand.

I wish this had a vertical seamin the lower cup!

A little upsidedown seven in this bra so I'd advize going up a cup size.

No cutting and nice strap placement. Not quite enough immediate projection. Good side support

This is semi-soft(the bottom part is padded, the upper one is a stretch lace) three-seam bra. I have one in 'vanilla' colourway which is somewhat creamy with silver embroidery. That looks nicely once you bought it, but when you put it on, that may look as if the bra is just a dirty ivory one(depending on your skin tone) - that's why I mark its appearance as 'good', not 'excellent', as I really love how the bra looks overall.

It is definitely deep, with looots of immediate projection, and brings boobs to front and creates a nice cleavage, but be aware that it doesn't give one smooth ... round shape: the horisontal (actually, rather diagonal) seam is seen through closes. Yet, the bra itself is not seen under white clothes(at least, on my fair skin). The tag says 65K, but it doesn't really correspond to any 30H bras I had. It's smaller both in cups and band. I'd say the bands like this one should be marked 29 as they'd be on the looser side for a 28 and definitely too tight for TTS 30. The cups seem to be closer to usual 30GG or even 30G

This bra was not only too small for me, it was also too shallow. I guess, it's done for purpose, to allow for the best 'cake on the plate' cleavage by pushing the breasts from the bottom. It is very lightly padded, so the cups aren't really sturdy. Combined with cups being pretty low cut, it provides very 'giggly' cakes-on-the-plate. Even though it has detouchable straps, it can't be actually worn as strapless(at least, for heavier busts) as it just can't support the boobs properly and stay on place without the straps. Yet, it's not that bad as a multiway. Actually, when it's worn as a halter, the cups become a bit deeper, but the strap digs into the breast tissue near the arms, even though I'm pretty short-rooted.
