Having come to the conclusion that the 32DD's from M&S I've been wearing for the past 5 years don't fit I decided to get fitted in Debenhams and came away with this bra!
I've found it an amazing improvement on any other bra's I've tried as its really comfortable and a lot tighter in the back. Also, looks are a MASSIVE improvement, this bra actually looks pretty as opposed to granny like! Unfortunetly I haven't got any other bras in the same size to compare it to as far as fit etc. The band hasn't stretched very much though I think I probably need a 28 as it is ...still quite loose even on the tightest hook. The underwire is comfy and doesn't come up too high under my arms and the straps are really nice even though I was a bit dubious at first as they are a little bit lacey.
I think its a really nice bra, as I say can't comment on it being true to size due to lack of comparison but would look out for the same bra again but possibly in a 28F. Read more 79 more words
This bra probably runs about half a cup large, because there was significant wrinkling for me and I am usually between a 34H and 34HH. I think I would have fit a 34H perfectly. I returned it.
Note: When ordering from Debenhams, you might be sent your bras in multiple packages with different return slips, which means you will wind up spending more on return postage than you might have anticipated.
The cups are slightly too large for me, as expected, because I am between sizes. I would say that the cups were a true 34HH. The straps are fully adjustable, which I haven't seen on many other bras.
This bra was a really horrible fit for me. As soon as I put it on I was in pain from the gore jabbing me. I noticed that the gore didn't lie flat (it's probably a little too wide), but I've never had a bra that felt like this - it was as if the gore was bent inward. I had to remove it immediately.

This bra probably runs about half a cup small in cup, as it fit me and I am between 34H and 34HH. It came too high in the armpit for me, and poked. Also, the seam that the straps attach to was bisecting the breast tissue. I returned it. The straps are fully adjustable which could be good for short or tall women.

I am between sizes and this bra is a true 34HH so I was unable to fill the cups. There was slight wrinkling at the top, so I returned it. The straps are fully adjustable.

it fits well on the tightest hook (i normally need a 30/32) but the material is really really scratchy and itchy. ive worn it three times so far and im not planning on ever wearing it again, its such a pretty bra but i just cant live with the scratchiness, not sure if thats because its not my prober size or because its just a scratchy bra in general.
The label says 32H, but I am not sure whether this is the correct size. From band length I assume it is a 28J that has been mislabelled as a 32H. The band on this particular bra is super tight.
I got this bra for a friend who wears 32H with Panache and PourMoi?, she couldn't even close the band. Even with an extension it was too tight on her. Since she couldn't try it on, I cannot say anything about fit.
I only know that many women have good success with Gorgeous bras. The bras are generally cut with narrow wires and deep cups, yet they do not cause that rocket shape Freya is sometimes known for. Also, unlike Freya, the bands are on the tight side.
I was very hesitant to pick this bra up, but the beautiful purple color won me over. It's actually one of my more comfortable bras. I can wear it easily under heavier t-shirts or patterned shirts without the detailing on the cups showing through. It gives a good lift and overall appearance and fits very well. The color is just amazing, a smoky purple that I just love. I would definitely buy more of this one!
I really, really, really hate the shape of these Debenham's balconies. This mesh peach number is very very stretchy. the straps are very far apart, cutting into my armpit if there is any tension on them and falling off if there is not.
This bra was listed as padded on the Debenham's website. It is exactly the same thickness as the two unpadded balconies I got with it, and the same shape. I am not sure why it's marked 'padded'. I love the color, and this bra was on sale and quite inexpensive, so I figured it would be a good chance to try and find my true size. I really wish this bra looked as up and attem as it does in the photos on the website. The shipping and ordering were not a hassle, so that was nice.
The band is far too tight (not wearing an extender ...in these pictures, but I wear one when I do wear this bra). The cups press my breasts down and toward my armpits, but I cannot get them to fill the bottom of the cup, no matter how I wiggle and jiggle and scoop. The cups are also too small. The straps are too wide-set for my narrow shoulder, they fall off and cut into my armpit at the same time (just the straps, not the underwire).
I really dislike the cup shape - while in the pictures it looks rounded to me, it is actually pushing my breasts downward and to the sides, where they get in the way of my arms. Despite the downward push, I don't fill the bottom of the cup. I have this style in a 32 G as well, and while it fits my breasts better size-wise the band is a bit too loose on the tightest hook; this bra is too tight in the cup by a fair bit AND the band is too tight on the loosest hook. The straps are too far apart for my narrow shoulders. They fall off the top on both sizes, and also cut into my armpits in front. I like the color and pattern, but I am really disappointed by the shape they have on me.
Gorgeous is the house brand at UK department store Debenham's. I think this model has been discontinued--I bought it on clearance and couldn't find anything on the Web that looked similar. I bought 2 of this bra when I was pregnant. Most of the time I do not wear molded or padded cups because they never seem to be the right shape for me, but this one worked well with my shape. It gave good support and lift. The straps are perhaps a bit far apart for me but it wasn't enough to be a big deal. It is now too large for me in both the band and the cup at 10 months post pregnancy, and the cup size difference is significant.
The band is quite firm and snug and both band and cup seem to be true to size. The underwires are relatively narrow. It doesn't come up too high under the arms but it's not too low either.
Please see my review of the grey 30GG Gorgeous. I have the same issues with this bra, even if the measurements slightly differ.
One addition to both bras is that the cups seem to be different between the left and right. They measure the same but it seems they are placed differently on the band. I do not have a problem with this in any other bra.
I bought this because of a suggestion that this line runs tight in the band. I do not find it to be tight at all. The band is much looser than what I'd like. I will not be purchasing this bra again. It comes packaged in a manner that results in creases in the cups. I'm sure they'll come out with washing and wear. But throwing a bra in a back and mailing overseas could lead to bent wires and such. Some good things: The lining/padding is nice and thin, just enough for nipple coverage. The fabric feels wonderful and smooth. The straps are ...very adjustable. Cons: The creasing in the cups. The fact that it has a tag on it that says it comes with a free brief (I did not get one). The cup edge curls out which will leave visible lines in clothing. The general shape is good, but I would not say that this bra has the same quality as other brands, but it's also about half the price of a Freya. Fit issues: I have too much top fullness and it leaves a tiny gap in the bottom of the cup. The center front is not quite flat, but it is not enough for me to size up. The underwire stops short of the side of the cup. That means no poking, but it does leave an awkward area in the fabric. Read more 135 more words
This was the non-foam molded T-shirt bra, with lace wings, in a 2-pack. I went up a band size because I heard that Gorgeous range runs tight in the band (not the case at all) and because the balconette I have fits so well. Not the case with this one.
I clearly needed a 38 band, and also, the cups ran on the large side. Definitely a size smaller than Freya. The shape of the cup was the most awful there is for me: very high & very narrow underwires. Not what I expected, as the Gorgeous balconette I own has just the opposite. Glad I only bought these on eBay.
