I was hesitant when the saleslady suggested this bra, as I had never worn a bra with non-padded or moulded cups before. I was always afraid that would feel not as strongly supported, but I feel very secure in this bra. The lace of the cup stretches, which feels very comfortable. The lace itself is also very fine/flat so it does not show through fabric. Straps can be detached to cross over in racerback style. It has a nice deep plunge so can be worn under almost any of my top (accept for white because it will shine through obviously).
Had to get used to the transparancy of the lace as it shows your nipples, but I have come to love this bra so much! I feel comfortable, supported, confident, and very sexy in it, while feeling almost like wearing a bralette. My favorite bra I own!
Where did you get this in a 28 band? It looks great btw! Glad it worked out well for you. I too started out my bra journey in the 28D/DD range. It can be so difficult to find great sub 32 band bras! Even the women who are over an F/FF cup are large busted, they are still bras for smaller/petite women and most of them are just designed the same as the 32+ bands. And my favorite bra brands now no longer exist! Lol.
FAVORITE. This is the first bra that I ever found that fit me. I usually have issues with strap separation but not even close with this baby. Looks freaking beautiful and provides cleavage without smooshing anything together. Perfect fit. Lots of colors as well.
Very comfortable and attractive bra. There is more padding on the bottom cup to provide lift, though cleavage is basically impossible for me so I don't have any here. Nice round shape. Straps are a little thin which could be an issue for larger sizes.
The Gossard Superboost sits well in the IMF, and is very supportive. The purple colourway is totally impressive, and combined with the plunge this bra is beautiful.
I only tried this bra in a store and I found it very unique. It has narrow wires but the center gore is quite wide. This bra 'secures' the breast in their position, without anly uplift or upfront effect. The fabric is not very soft.
This is an absolutely gorgeous bra. It doesn’t fit me, and even in that context it still looks great. This bra works very well for people who are wide-set, the cups are very far apart and with the plunge neckline it would be difficult to stay in the garment if the wearer were close set. Another consideration for this bra is that there is no adjustability, it is a front-close with only a single line of hooks.
This bra would only work for someone with VERY separate boobs. Anyone with any inner fullness will just fall out of the cups in the middle, as the cups don't cover the inner quadrants at all. This bra really looks like it hasn't been scaled for a G cup at all - I could imagine that this works significantly better in a much smaller cup size, where the cup separation and the lack of inner support aren't issues especially for someone more self-supporting. Another fit issue is in-cup quadding, because the cups have an inner side sling which is not stretchy at all, while the rest of the cup ...is very stretchy. Other than this, this feels really comfortable on. Since I anyway need a relatively wider gore, the wire doesn't bother me at all. The materials feel soft and pleasant on, and the design is really pretty. Regarding the fact that this is a longline, there are 3.5cm extra length under the bottom of the cup. This means that the actual gore height would be 6cm and wing 13cm. Read more 69 more words
The cups on this bra have a bit of an interesting shape. When not wearing it, there is almost a straight line between the underwires and the deepest point of the cup when viewed from the side. Because of this, I think it's best for people with full on top to even fullness - I'm ever so slightly full on top and the cup shape creates a slight push-up effect without padding. This bra creates a slightly pointy shape, and the seams on the cup are pretty prominent and show through T-shirts. The bra itself looks really good but I wouldn't wear this for day-to-day wear unless I was wearing a thicker top like a sweater.
ABOUT ME: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * wide roots (extend to the mid-axillary line) * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * short root height, average vertical placement * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * ...conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame * front (anterior) rib flares
FIT Band: * length: stays in place with wear * wings: height good, smooth line, stays looking good after movement.
Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.
Straps: * not too far apart * adjust short enough
Cups: * Wires too wide. * Top of cup: quad boob near gore, massive wrinkles in top half of cup (can fit my fist, expects way more upper fullness) * Bottom of cup: filled ok but breasts sag below wire * Cup apex: too deep * Side view: round, tiny lift * Front view: wide (east-west) – side support sling not effective, but doesn’t create new bulges * Tail of Spence enclosed. Outer edge of cup very high -- nearly in armpit crease. * Don't be fooled by the stock photos. This fabric is very, very sheer. Everything shows. (This is a pro or a con, depending on your goals.)
ASSESSMENT & PLAN * Cups too big all over (too wide & too deep). * Summary of sizes tried: - 34E & 34F: band & cups too big - 32E: band fits, cup too small - 32F: band too big, cups too narrow and deep - 30F: band fits, cups not deep enough - 30FF: band fits, cups wide & shallow - 30G (this review): band fits, cups too wide and too deep * STOP, shape mis-match Read more 275 more words

Construction: Band, strap, and cup construction identical to the 30F - Gossard » Glossies Moulded Bra (6271), except that band is not super stretchy. (Perhaps because this size is black.)
ABOUT ME: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * wide roots (extend to the mid-axillary line) * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * short root height, average vertical placement * mix of firm ...& soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame * front (anterior) rib flares
FIT Band: * length: stays in place with wear * wings: looks good immediately after scoop & sweep but tissue escapes with movement
Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.
Straps: * not too far apart * adjust short enough
Cups: * Wires too wide. * Top of cup: wrinkles (expects more upper fullness) * Bottom of cup: filled ok but breasts sag below wire * Cup apex: not deep enough (breasts being smushed into armpit) * Side view: round, slightly flat, tiny lift * Front view: wide (east-west) – side support sling not effective, but doesn’t create new bulges * Tail of Spence enclosed. Outer edge of cup presses on the brachial plexus causing tingling. * Don't be fooled by the stock photos. This fabric is very, very sheer. Everything shows. (This is a pro or a con, depending on your goals.)
ASSESSMENT & PLAN * Cups too shallow (too wide yet not deep enough). * Tried -1 cup size (same band, 30F), but not deep enough so breast smushed into armpit. * Try +1 cup size (same band, 30G) for more depth but suspect style is too shallow for my shape. Read more 234 more words

~70J/32G ~65K/30GG, projected, bottom and center full, tall roots, avarage root width, soft tissue ----- Very pretty but also really shallow and wide, the Cups are too far apart/ it doesn't cover enough in the center, obv. also isn't deep enough. I imagine this bra to be very very beautifull on the right bust shape but for me it's another no.
I liked this bra. It’s extremely lightweight and breathable, yet offers side support. It was a better fit than usual for me, and I was thinking of keeping it until I tried on the Fantasie Rebecca. But it’s going back, and here’s why: It was just a wee bit too shallow in the cups for me and gave me a slightly weird shape under a very clingy t-shirt where there was some tissue spillage into the armpit area. It wasn’t super supportive up front, either, or maybe it just didn’t have enough immediate projection — I couldn’t get the underwires to properly cup my breasts to keep them ...up and off of my skin. As a result, I think I’d get sweaty/rashy in this one, plus the shape it gave me was rather droopy. In addition, the sheer fabric showed in graphic detail how my breasts kind of folded themselves into the cup. My nipple was all smashed looking. It wasn’t nearly as sexy as it looked in the stock photos, lol. Under a sweater, this bra would be fine, but I’m looking for better than “fine.” A couple of final general notes about this one: 1) They aren’t kidding when they say “sheer,” so if you want modesty, look elsewhere. 2) The gore on this is basically nonexistent. It’s so narrow that the cups touch. Read more 119 more words
I mean, I've kept this bra and I wear it occasionally. It's not like it's wildly uncomfortable. But it's a compromise until I get a few more Comexims and then it'll probably go (if you want it and you're in Australia let me know...)
The Good: 1) It's pretty. The colour is sort of a pale salmon? Like you know the colour it goes when it's cooked? That colour. The lace is glossy. 2) The wires are nice and narrow. 3) the lace at the top means there's a bit of wiggle room for being functionally FOT and also for hormonal changes (I'm weird and I shrink during shark ...week.) 3) For a 30 band, it runs pleasantly small. I can fasten it on the middle hook, which is unusual even in most 28s for me. 4) Despite the cup being too small and shallow on my big side, it stretches to fit ok, and it fits the small side. Forgiving on asymmetry. Them's the words I'm looking for.
The Bad: 1) The gore is way too wide for me. I'm going to try sewing the wire channels together at the top (the design means they aren't actually connected at the top. Only at the bottom.) 2) The lace is only attached at two points over the top of the soft lining, so it slides down and bunches in weird ways. Again this can probably be fixed by a bit of hand sewing, but maybe this is also a bit of shape incompatibility. 3) It feels flimsy on. It only has one row of hooks. I don't feel supported.
The Ugly: There aren't any true dealbreakers here for me, but the unsupported feeling can only get worse in cup sizes north of a 28E.
All in all, this one's a bit meh, but given the narrow wires and small 30 band on it, I'd be willing to give other Gossard bras a go. Read more 213 more words
