I heard that Lepel's non-Fiore bras ran deep in the cup. This was confirmed by the Erin unlined bra that I tried in a 30FF, the same size as my Fiore Balconette, so I ordered the Elizabeth Padded Plunge in a 30F, hoping that going one size down would make up for the too-deep cups. Bad idea. This plunge is at least 2 sizes too small for me in the cups. The amount of quad-boob I get here is kind of grotesque looking. Really, it's ridiculous. This might be a good bra for shallow breasts, since the cups certainly appear to be extremely shallow, but I can't be ...certain. Personally, I still think this is worth trying if you're looking to fit a shallow shape, just consider sizing up a little in the cup.
The band seems nice and tight (my underbust is 27", for reference), but that might very well be due to the too small cups. The bra itself is quite nice looking and I am particularly enamored of the (relatively) thin straps, since I wear a lot of thin-strapped tank tops in the summer and am always trying to find appropriate bras. Overall, I liked the bra and wish it fit me. Read more 97 more words
the wires of this bra ar far too board for me, it is missing depth in the cups and makes me flat. I can work really great though for women wo need exactly such bras because others gape too much for them.
Despite getting a small but distinct amount of quadboob with this bra, I'm going to keep it. One, because I don't think it's enough to warrant a full cup size change (like the CK Lottie, which gave mild quadboob, but had me swimming in the cups when I went up a size), and two, because the lace on this bra does an excellent job of disguising said quadboob. I will, nevertheless, order a 30G just in case. As for the band, although it would definitely be better in a 28 band (which Lepel doesn't currently make) and it does ride up somewhat in the back, it feels tighter ...than some of my more stretchy 28 band bras (CK showgirl bras, I'm looking at you) and the band moves less than those bras do when I raise my arms or jump up and down.
Personally, I find that this is, as recommended, a great bra for shallow, full-on-bottom breasts. The shape of the bra seems like it was designed with me in mind. I usually prefer a more rounded shape, but I like the shape here, too. It's rounded but isn't quite as circular as some bras, more rounded at the bottom and a bit more diagonally flattened on the upper portion, if that makes any sense. Not pointy, by any means, if you're concerned about that.
I have a long torso and still noticed that this bra comes up really high under the arms. It's not enough to bother me (it actually makes me feel quite "secure" in the bra), but I could see it being uncomfortable if you were more sensitive to that sort of thing, or had a shorter torso or high-set breasts. If I could change one thing on this bra (other than expanding down to sub-30 bands), it would be replacing the double hooks with triple hooks. I don't think that double hooks are adequate at this size, though obviously some bra makers disagree. Read more 220 more words
This bra was a try for a fitting victim of mine https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> But it didn't fit her. It's a really pretty bra with a floral print, but I have no idea of the model :/ The tag says LE22700ST and 19881, googling didn't help. It might be an older model.
digs on side in armpit which was alleviated with a scoop and swoop, band was loose, continually needing to scoop and swoop throughout the day to relieve cutting/digging in side boob.
The underwire seems to go too far under my arms, I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to do that, so I'm going to be returning this. Otherwise it would be a perfect fit.
Straps cut into armpits painfully. The cups weren't too large when I bent forward (maybe a little small on my larger side) but the molded construction of the bra made it difficult to fill in exactly right when standing/sitting up.
This runs large in its crazy stretchy band. It's an absolutely beautiful bra, and incredibly comfortable except the cup seams that hit across my nipples seem to chafe a bit. I'm hoping that will change after some wearing. It doesn't give an amazing shape, but it isn't terrible. Not a great t shirt bra because the seams show through, but as far as looks and comfort (except for the blasted seams!) go, I love it. Would recommend sizing down in the band (and up in the cup accordingly.)
It's a bedroom bra for me - The support is too weak, the straps are awfull and the band runs quite large. So I got it in a few sizes too small as I wanted that Christina Hendrics effect, and that's what I got - because of the construction of the cup it doesn't cut in even though the cups are too small. It creates a nice round shape, but very flimsy an jiggly, I don't enjoy walk about in it much. So yeah, hot pink works for my boyfriend because he thinks it's red https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
This is the first balcony bra I have owned. It is comfortable, though I do not like how large the gore is. The material sticks to you on hot days. The band is loose, so I would suggest sizing down on it.
The wire sits quite far underneath the underarms with the band only covering the back. Because of this it is meant for a full coverage shirt, but because it is so pretty it won't hurt if it shows a little. The decorations on the edges unravel a little after one wear, but I haven't tried to wash it so I can't say if it holds up well.
The wire does stab right at the top of the bridge and I have to pad it with tissue paper (not ideal, or sexy), but it was comfortable to wear all day. I felt very secure wearing it for a work day.
Nice bra, very comfy. The wider band makes it just a touch comfier than the Fiore plunge, but makes it more likely to show under tops with low-cut armholes. Unlike the plunge version, it has lace trim on the bottom of the bra. Not a massive fan of the look of that.
The band is, strangely, significantly shorter than on the plunge bra, though both fit me fine. It doesn't have removable padding the way the plunge version does.
Slightly prettier than the average t-shirt bra. Has those moulded cups. Super comfy, and the cups fit nicely. A better fit than the Freya Deco for me. Band fits okay, but I could probably go down to a 28 if they made it (they don't).
It's a very pretty bra with a flower pattern. (I have it in a purple color) Unfortunately, it's waaaayy too big for me. I suppose if I had it in 30DD or even 30D, it might fit me well, it seems to be a comfortable bra otherwise.
This bra was laughably bad on me. The cups were way too small. They were so small, in fact, that the band stood out from my chest a full inch in front! And I had quad boob. There was just no way this was going to fit me right. The cups were very wide and really felt like they were ending up under my arms. I don't mind this usually, but the underwire was high enough that I could feel the inside of my arms rubbing on it. Not nice.
Those negatives aside, this is a stunning bra. I wish I could find a plunge like this that fit. The lace is soft and the colors are just to die for. It really is sexy and would likely give killer cleavage if it fit me! Maybe in the right size it would be better, but I suspect this brand just isn't for me.
You might want to give the Lepel Fiore Fullcup a try. The Lepel Fiore Padded Plunge works best with smaller breasts. It is very shallow, thus the quadboob and the centergore not sitting flat and the wires being way too wide.
Did some Googling for the code you pasted, it looks like your bra is Lepel Nightgale http://bra.pe/MBKP/ :)
