The bra is high quality and very pretty. There is also removable air padding cookies in the lower part of the bra which makes the padding feel squishy and natural. Unfortunately, the bra fits on the small side and is too pointy for my taste, but it does make you project outward if you like that look. The band is really tight so it is best to size up in the band by one size. The cups are quite small too, so are suitable for small busts if you wear this size (the cups are deeper, rather than wider/rounder/taller). The cups are like a demi bra. I notice this bra looks more flattering on bigger busts though, judging from photos (less squat and pointy if you are bigger busted). I rated comfort level as good because if it fit me properly, it would be fine.. but the band makes it personally uncomfortable since it is too tight for me, and the cup might be a tad too small.
I bought this bra way before I learned about proper measuring. I wore a 32b and heard somewhere that I should probably be wearing a 30 band so I bought this in a 30b. The cups were way too small, as you can imagine. It's so cute though. I love things with birds on them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The colors are gorgeous.
Way too small in the cups! This fit me at one point, but no longer. I am quadding at the top of the cups, and I cannot fill the bottom of the cups. My breasts just push the cups down on my torso.
Christ on a bike this is one beautiful bra. It's soft, comfortable, and stays put even when I jump around wildly to loud music (one of my standard tests when trying on bras). The band is very firm; I *can* pull it to 32", but it sits like a tight 30 on me, moreso than a Cleo.
I have a few minor fit issues, though: the bra's a little on the small side for me, probably a cup size too small, so there's some quadboob, especially on my bigger breast, and the gore is not always touching my sternum. The straps are very thin, and while I don't need ...them for support (the band does all the work here!), they sometimes cut into my shoulders (even after adjusting). I'd prefer a bit more width to them. However, it's still perfectly wearable, and I'll definitely be keeping it. Maybe I can make a few of the problems smaller, with the help of my trusty seam ripper, and a little needle and thread.
Edit: narrowed the gore from the bottom and up, changing the angle of the cups to make them more open on top, added a tape with a couple of more eyes to the back, and now it fits like a boob in boob glove. Thank the Gods for sewing machines! Read more 111 more words
Totz he has a 30s band, I can wear wearer well as normally 28 . He is very pleasant. Law is the pad because of my asymmetry not in it and so the bra is like well trained It is very convenient and can be super carry
My proper size is a 28D, and I am a shallow 28D, but for me, underwire in anything higher than a plunge style is extremely uncomfortable and stabs uncomfortably in my chest, so I needed to try some plunge styles that are supposed to be good for shallow breasts - of which there are few. This bra is one of the few that is supposed to be better for shallow breasts, so I figured I would compromise on the band size - and it seems to be okay.
In terms of the band size, the 30 seems to be fine. On the largest hook, the band doesn't ...really ride up when I raise my arms, but it feels like it might soon as soon as it stretches out a bit. I imagine I"ll wear it on the tighter hooks sooner than I would with a 28 band, and I may look into shortening the band - but it's not too big of a problem.
In terms of the cups, I tried both the 30C (my sister cup size) and 30B. The 30C fit my larger breast fine, but not my smaller breasts, which had some wrinkling in the cup. Since this bra has small removable inserts, I figured I would try the 30B, and just take the insert out on the side of my larger breast. This worked well - I don't quadboob on my larger breast, and the cups fit my smaller breast well.
I do agree with what some other reviewers have said that some of the lace can be a little bit itchy. But I've worn it all day and it's not itchy enough to make me feel like I need to take it off, and I imagine my body will get used to it over time. Read more 196 more words
Runs large in the cup and band is not as tight as the Lepel Fiore models. Fits more like a 30D or a more projected 30C. Empty space at the apex and top of the cups. Cups lined with a comfortable material. Shape is more pointed than rounded. Very pretty bra embellished with scalloped edges and embroidery in the colour Antique Pink.
This is a size smaller than my usual 30FF, but even if it was the correct size I don't think I'd like it. The cups are too wide and shallow for me. It has thin padded inserts which don't really appeal to me either. It's pretty and quite comfortable, but just not for me.
Very pretty! This may actually be too shallow for my more shallow/wide boobs, because it gives me a slight quad boob. I tried it without the padding, and it was a little better. However, the wing is also a little too short for me, so I get a slight "armpit wing." Not as terrible as some others, but enough to make me hesitate keeping it. I love the lining inside the cups--its a very soft, almost t-shirt type material.
This is the first bra I am trying on in my new (proper) size. The band is comfortable and feels secure, though a lot tighter than I'm used to having worn a 34 band the last 11 years of my life. The band does have quite a bit of stretch to it though. The cups are too shallow for me, I have a bit of quadboob and there is wrinkling at the bottom of both cups. The lace overlay does a good job of giving a smoother appearance but the top of the actual cup cuts in. I like the look of this bra from the front, but ...it gives me a pointier profile than I am used to. The gore tacks, but the wire on the left side seems to be resting on a bit of tissue. For the 10 minutes I had this bra on, it was pretty comfortable but I can see the left wire near the gore being a problem if I wore this bra for an extended period of time. The width of the wires are okay (maybe a touch wide but better than I'm used to), and the sides between the wire and the strap come right up underneath my armpits but I don't mind this as I feel it gives me a bit more side support. Unfortunately I don't think I will be keeping this bra as I don't feel the cups are the right shape for me. Read more 137 more words
For a while in 2012, I alternated between two identical Lepel Athena bras in 32E. It was my favourite and best (...only) near-fitting bra, but unfortunately it is now too large for me.
The cups themselves are smooth and kind of boring, but I like the lace on the band and straps. It was smooth under my shirts and very comfortable. The band is pretty stretchy.
I purchased them from Bramora in Dublin. The fitter there is fantastic and I haven't found a better one yet.
This bra has gorgeous fabric and is a lovely color in real life. The band is firm, the construction solid. It is simple without being plain. I really wanted this bra to fit but consistently underestimated my size, which explains why I get cutting in. I think in a size up it would work well, even for breasts with a tall root like mine.

This unpadded bra runs true to cup size and too tight in the band. I normally wear 28-30" bands, this 30 is too tight to comfortably wear all day. Small complaint with peak-a-boo nipples through the shear upper panel requiring extra adjustment when donning, but it isn't bad.
Very soft material all over. Doesn't pinch or itch anywhere. However, it's not a good fit for me, because the cups are too wide (sigh) and pull my breasts outwards to an east-west position. I also have issues with the bra wiggling down my torso because of the wide wires. Cup volume is good though, I find Lepels to run smaller than most UK brands. There's some empty fabric at the bottom of the cup, though I don't know whether it's because of a lack of projection, or if it's the shape of the wires. The straps are thin for a full-bust brand, and soft, too, and it feels almost like they're padded. The upper part of the cup is stretchy lace, and feels more forgiving than for example my Panache Jasmine, which never could accomodate size/fullness fluctuations for me. The colour is a very, very light blush kind of pink, perfect as a skin tone bra for ghosts and/or vampires, but it's possible that the coral accents will show through whites/light coloured tops.
This bra came with padded inserts, which I have removed for a better fit. Without the inserts, I get no quadboob, and the bra is extremely comfortable. The band is a bit more stretchy than anticipated.
