    Didn't fit

So far the Jasmine is the best fit, and quality, bra I've found. As soon as I tried on the Jasmine I immediately loved it, mostly because it was the first bra I purchased after I was correctly sized, so it was the first bra that was really supportive. One awesome thing about the Jasmine is the stretch lace top - it doesn't cut into the top of my breasts (yay). The underwire is long enough for me, which I've never found in any bra. Plus, the uplift is amazing. It does cause a bit of a "torpedo" look, but it's not too ... bad on me and I'm willing to put up with it. I wasn't crazy about the horizontal seam, but I've learned to deal with it over time. I've decided it looks like my breasts are "winking" at people. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

The Jasmine is highly structured...meaning it's not the most comfortable, and I don't think it's designed to be. This is not a bra I'd wear lounging around the house. As I said, the uplift is amazing, and you don't get that amount of uplift in a 36JJ without being seriously structured. I wouldn't say it's a "special occasion" bra, but I'd save it for my fitted v-necks and wear something with a bit more give if I'm sporting a baggy sweatshirt.

Over time I did notice some fit issues. The biggest problem is the gore. It really pushes into me, sometimes to the point of breaking the skin. After a long day it becomes significantly painful. I've started folding kleenex and putting it under the top of the gore, which helps a bit, but it's still an issue. I also think the gore might be a little too wide. The underwire at the gore, on the right side only, folds a bit and sits on my breast tissue, not on my chest. It's weird. There are also a few wrinkles in the bottom of the cup, but they're not really noticeable. I'm relatively new to bra sizing and breast shapes, but I think the cup depth might be a little off for me.

Other than that I'm very happy with this bra. I'm so glad I found it!

The lace is soft and flexible, making is lay flat even for less top fullness. The color is dark beige, not light pastel peach, which it looks like in the Amazon image. The color gives me a granny feel https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> Bit too dark for the liking of a blonde like me. It's available in black and black/white too, but I already have black bras and the b/w pattern looks too busy.

The side panels have some rippling, not knowing if it is a size/shape issue, or just that the bra would benefit from thicker side panels. Probably one size smaller cup would be better, but would that be comfortable. Shape is bit conical, and regardless of the small gore it appears a bit separating for me. I would like still narrower wires, but my roots are probably unusually narrow and short.

Feels like a quality bra. It fits and is very comfortable, but I'm still thinking to try out Ewa Michalak bras.

This Jasmine seems well-made with breathable, non-stretch mesh lower cups and band and stretch lace on the upper cups. There is a satin ribbon strip that runs across the top of the band and up the straps. The wires are quite firm and long.

Jasmine has the reputation for great projection with a somewhat pointy shape, and I'd say this 34JJ fits the bill. It's quite a feat for a bra to lift my bottom/outer heavy boobs up, and Jasmine manages better than most I've tried. It had a nicer, more "green" and less torpedo shape on me than the Hettie did, but as someone who has been ... hiding behind minimizers for years, the sheer projection was still juuuust a little too in-your-face for me. I suspect I might get a rounder and less projected shape if I went to a 36J, as the 34JJ was too tight in the band and too loose in the cup for me. I worry that a smaller cup would have narrower wires, though, and this one I already have to stretch them back a bit to avoid getting poked in the armpits. Something about the placement of Panache wires has consistently been a tough fit for me. I have to tread very carefully or else they will poke my armpits, and after a while of wearing them, they start to press too firmly on my ribcage in the front.

  4. This bra was listed as a "these will also fit" bra for the Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) in 36G, which was the one "strict recommendation" in my latest recommendations. I chose a "these will also fit" bra over the "strict recommendation" because I hate moulded, padded and lined bras -- and yes, I am starting see that that may not have been the right decision.
The straps don't adjust quite long enough. I feel them digging into my shoulders at least a little, and I think this is also what causes the top corners of the cups to chafe the fatty area between my breasts ... and shoulders. All of the other fit parameters are fine, which is why this is listed as a bra that did fit me when I added it. Not sure why the website first asks whether or not the straps adjust long enough/short enough but then doesn't cover that on the following screen where it says "based on your responses this bra does/does not fit" and then asks you to respond yes or no to again to every single parameter except the one about straps -- but it would be nice to get that added.
I also noticed -- and I'm not sure this is an actual fit issue -- that sometimes the band seems to ride . . . down? Sometimes I can pull the band up by an inch or so and it will stay in the new position at least for a while -- and after moving it, any problems I had noticed with the cups not not being entirely filled are resolved. I wasn't sure how to indicate that I'm the fit questions, if this is indeed a fit issue.

I think riding down means you have a V shaped rib-cage? If you posted pics i cant see them yet. Jasmine was one of my faves for a while but i'm short

    • Huh -- another thing I've never heard of before! I did load a few basic photos that I'm told were approved last week. You should be able to see the red marks from where the band had been resting before I adjusted it, in the front shot and the side shot.
Let me know if you can't see them or if there are any other shots it would be helpful for me to load.

    • oh, hte pics arent displayed next to your review because you didnt check that checkbox.

    • 1

Did you mean the FRONT of the band, or the back of hte band? When the front rides down we usually say the cups are riding down or the wires wont stay under my breasts, the band usually means the back

if hte cups are being pushed down it usually means its not enough immediate projection or the cups are just too small - again, your measurements and the bras measurements are realy important for troubleshooting fit

    Didn't fit

So I made it to LA after a full day of travel yesterday (partly because we opted to leave a lot earlier than we actually needed to but we were cautious in case of weather delays) and I convinced hubby that we should grab a lyft to Jenette Bras on Santa Monica Blvd today, as the convention officially starts tomorrow, making today a free day for us. He was quite happy to stay out in the waiting area as they were playing a great Spotify playlist of his favourite stuff and they had a photography book that had lots of musicians he liked (book was by a fellow ... that was a photographer for a lot of musicians in the early 80s or something like that). They pretty much took my word for my size and evaluated the fit of the bra I was wearing today (65FF BM Cabernet). She agreed that it fits me well, but did tighten the straps some. She pulled out a few things from the drawers and I went out to them and grabbed a few. One of the ones that she grabbed was a 28G Envy in a beautiful blue...close to navy but with maybe a tinge of teal. I’ll have a look at it to find out what the official colour is called. I will review this one next. On my own, I went to look at the drawers in my size range and pick out some stuff, and I came across Jasmine in caramel, a bra in a size that I’ve actually tried before (but never got any pictures of up here).

Now traditionally, Envy and Jasmine have not been my friends. They are too projected at the apex, and in the case of Envy, too tall. However, I have had some growth since the summer and it’s evened me out some with a little bit more tissue/volume on top that I have not had prior. My lack of upper tissue and softer, pendulous, fob breasts is often a problem for this kind of bra style, so I usually end up with a bit of a pointy shape because I just sink into the cups and fill the space until it’s done and then I often have spread out so forward in that deep apex that I no longer have enough tissue to round out in the bra on top. Given that I am somewhat more full on top now than the last time, I thought I would try them again and see if it is still a shape mismatch or if it’s a better fit.

I have to say that aside from the band being a bit too tight, I filled out the cups pretty decently! I don’t know if I could use a larger cup or not (given my fit experience with the 28G Envy), but in this size, I am getting a fairly rounded shape by contrast to the earlier tries before the new growth and increase in upper fullness. There’s a bit of wrinkling at the wire but it didn’t seem to feel like it was horribly shallow. My pictures do look a little bit weird because I have a bit of stretch lace that is bunched up and not smooth near the gore on one side, but I fixed it after the fact and I think that it’s a decent fit. It does look like maybe it’s a bit too small in the pics but it’s probably just the not smooth lace. So just imagine that it is smooth against my skin. I don’t know what a 28G, 30F or 30FF would fit like, but I feel like maybe it’s a style worth reconsidering again and possibly experimenting with. For whatever reason, they only carry Panache in the 28 bands so I could not try a 30 band. And, at least in the lighting of the store, it’s a decent colour on me for a nude/flesh/skin tone. It’s a soft and light bra, and I would wager it feels a bit better than the Envy.

For reference, see my 32DD review. I’ll see if I can find it and link it.

    http://bra.pe/XZue

Also, I found the Imgur album from last March when I tried on this exact bra! Same size and colour! I added screenshots from the the album to the gallery here. What a huge difference!

As with the Envy, the big question is whether I’d buy one, and I think that the answer is rather dependent on the size, colour or print, and price. I feel like I might be able to wear it !well under my work uniform decently. I really do like a lot of the colours and prints that Jasmine is available in, so if I can do it now, it’s a plus. This also opens up the possibility of the Hettie and Kayla working for me as well.

OK I can't really see well enough in the blue Envy pics but here it is plain--that wrinkling at the base of the cups is a clear sign of too much lateral tension IMO. I think the band is at least a little bit too tight to allow good cup fit here. Maybe with an extender you'd see the breast settle more easily in there, idk.

    • Lovely rounded shape! It might just be due to the stretch lace not being smoothed out (and the tiny phone photo view I have) but it actually looks a bit small in the cup to me.

    • 1

I definitely think that it’s a much better fit than before, and in comparison with the Envy that I tried on, though I think that some of the fit flaws are results of the band being too tight. I did not grab any pictures with the extender on.

    • It definitely doesn't look bad. If you could get it to be comfortable then it's a contender for sure.

    • Looks a smidge too small to me as well. Pretty though.

    • I was curious about the next size up but there wasn’t one. Once I unfurled the one bit in the stretch lace it appeared to fit me better. Still, the curiosity lingers.

    • If I can find a 30F/FF at a good price, I might consider it, but I don’t know if I am getting the better shape because it’s a tighter band.

There is a little extra space at the bottom of the cups on me, but that empty space lies flat against my skin, so I'm not really bothered by it. But it probably means the wires come down a little lower than they ought to on me. I really wouldn't mind keeping this one, even with that, except that after a few hours it starts to hurt at my sternum. This is not an issue in the construction of the bra but rather an issue with slightly asymmetric ribs at my sternum.

This bra tends to project breast a little less forward and more to the side. Not a problem, but something to note. It is comfortable and very close to something I would want to keep, except that the cups are just a tiny bit too small.

The first thing I noticed about this bra is the material. It is very stiff and scratchy, however the lace on top is very soft and stretchy. It would be great for someone that is full on top who needs that forgiveness or someone that needs to accommodate two different size breasts. The straps are fully adjustable and felt lined against your skin for added comfort. They are not stretchy and will support the weight of heavy breasts nicely. The band is stiff and again, the material scratchy. It gives me a nice uplifted shape. This is not a bra I can wear all day because the material is too stiff and scratchy.

Love this bra. I only wish it had slightly more projection and held things in front a hair more. Otherwise, it fits exactly like a bra should fit and the shape is really quite nice.

Here we go again.... I’m really undecided on this one. I don’t know if I need more room? Cup, band, or both? Possibly the underwire is too low or too stiff. I thought it fit at first but now I’m not so sure it seems like it is going to slide down my rib cage painfully. I think it’s similar to Cleo’s Hettie which does fit me and is also comfortable so I’m not sure what’s going on here. Suggestions on size or on another style would be very much appreciated😊 I have added the bras I’ve tried so far. I’m pretty sure all measurements are added for ... the most current bras I’ve tried and I’m adding pictures and reviews to each as well. I think the wide set straps are actually creating problems for me but that seems to be the styles that work best🤔 FYI I’m utilizing Amazon Prime/ Prime Wardrobe if possible so I have not tried any polish bras yet I’m not opposed to them but I’m not quite ready to start that journey yet. I do think I could possibly have more luck but I just love the convenience of Amazon!!! TIA

This is too small. And already a bit too wide. The problem with sticking to what’s available on Amazon is that for this size and shape, with the narrow roots & amount of projection you need, there’s next to nothing available. You’ve found one of them in Hettie. You may also get along with Cleo Kayla. The only other bra that comes to mind is Curvy Kate Ellace and I’d try both 30G & 30GG in that. I think you’re more of a 30GG, and Hettie runs pretty deep, as does Kayla.

I took forever to try Polish bras & once I did I never went back. Eventually when you’re comfortable going that route, it’s gonna be the best solution for you.

    • I agree I think I fit Hettie in a G because of the stretch but I think I will soon have to move on to the polish bras from what I’m hearing. I’m not sure if this is where I’m going to stay size wise I had lost weight over the last 15 months so it wasn’t till about 2 months ago I was remeasured at a 30G. To be honest I thought my bust got smaller and my band was just stretched out on my 32G’s but now reading on here I’m thinking the bands that feel too tight is more then likely because the cup size is too small at least for my circumstances. So I’m going to look at more 30GG’s. Also I’ve been afraid to try Curvy Kate I thought they were bulky, too tight, wide wires and side boning killed me. I’m sure it could of very well been the style. The Kayla is on my list to try too but the last time i ordered it wasn’t in my size so I will check now! I really need ivory, nude or white since everything I own now is colorful It’s limiting my clothes selection😩

    • 2

The horizontal creases near the gore indicate you need a bit more center projection. And, because you have space between your breasts, Gorsenia (available on Amazon, although not "prime") may be a readily available option Polish option. Best wishes!!
