Oh yea! A bra that fits me, I'm so happy. I love how this bra looks, it gives me great shape and lift. It looks fantastic under clothes, or just by itself. It holds my breast wonderfully and the wires do not poke or hurt. The band is snug but does not dig in. At the end of the day I am still comfortable, which is the best test of all. If I could change one thing, I would like the center gore to be just a touch lower, but otherwise I am perfectly happy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This gorgeous, lace covered bra comes in several off beat, romantic colors and is offered in a decently wide range of sizes. When I purchased, I was wearing a 36H but sized up to a 38H as the band was a tad too tight and cups too shallow. It was a perfect fit for me at that time, I’ve since gained weight and need a larger cup size. This bra REALLY supports! It pulls in from the sides and uplifts to a point I never knew my girls could go. A balconette style, it never the less provided plenty of coverage, gave nice cleavage with the center fitting as ...it should, flat on the sternum. When walking, I did feel that the tops of my breasts jiggled a bit which was too obvious under tight clothing or tee shirts. But then I have a large cup size and this is not a full coverage bra. Very comfortable to wear for all day/extended periods. It made me feel beautiful and well supported. I would recommend trying this Clara bra, sizing up as needed. The band is particularly tight on the Clara so you may want to go up a band but keep your cup size. Conclusion: a beautiful bra that offers firm support and uplift. The sizing may need to be played with for your best fit.
This one was a weird fit for me, as it's more of a shallow half-cup than all the photos of it would reveal. The straps are nice and wide though. When I put it on it ends up cutting diagonally across my breast tissue. Since it seems to be a half cup of sorts, I dont fill the cup entirely in the bottom and quad to heck and back on the top. The straps seemed to be too far apart for my shoulders so they wouldn't support well in the long run, even if the cup were to fit. The gore is low even for me, and it floats on top of my breasts as it is too wide, but also because my breasts don't fill out the cups correctly.
This is one of my favorites and I just ordered two more in case they discontinue it.
The pink / red color is super intense. It looks weird and bikini like under anything bright and see through but works really well under a black top especially if you show some cleavage and the lace peeks out a little.
Sizing was difficult. I'm between a 28F and 28FF / 30F and the stretch lace felt very snug at first although it loosened up nicely after a few washes. But I was also missing a bit of space at the sides. The band is very tight, which made me try it in ...a 30F and 30E (it was in a shop so no pictures, sorry). In the 30F the cups were wrinkling which made the stretch lace super itchy. And I got the dreaded torpedo shape, poking nipples and a painful gore on top. In the 30E the gore felt good but the cups still looked pointy and the wires were too narrow, hurting my sides. So I decided to stick with the 28F as the tight band seems to stretch the wires enough for my wide roots and it somehow creates a rounder, perkier shape.
Quality is great. The straps are very smooth and comfortable the elastic is firm but not pinchy and the band didn't stretch in over 6 month.
The design is very interesting. Like with to my Panache Georgia (http://bra.pe/XYON/) the elastic is crossed over below the gore making the front part more rigid and supportive. I also like the side support slings attached to the straps which really push my wide set boobs to the center. When I shorten the straps a bit more, like in the pictures the slings also provide tonnes of support by stopping any east west movement. I even wore this thing during a kickbox sparing without adjusting it even once. (All my sports bras were dirty, don't try this). My only minor complaint is that the wires sometimes make a strange creaking noises when I lift my arms or twist my torso. Read more 240 more words
When these first came out I tried them in my usual UK (30E in Bravissimo bras) and it was too big in the cup. Then 2 years later when they are finally on discount, I ordered my usual 32D US. The wires fit great! The inner most seams by the gore are a little protruding and show through the top because I don't have as much center fullness as it was designed for, but it only really shows on my left smaller breast. The straps are thin and don't stretch. They don't hurt my sensitive shoulders like most thin straps do. I do get some thread popping sounds ...where the stitching and the shoulder straps meet the top when I first put the top on, so hopefully over time that won't cause an issue. Also, I'm a size 6 US (36,28,38) and the actual fabric tank top fits nicely and is comparable to other small/medium camisole tops. It does rid up a bit due to my wide hips, but still looks okay as an outside article of clothing. The shape that it gives your boobs is a little sky slope-y, but I do have FOT breasts. The gore is a tad too tall/wide at the top, but most full cup style bras are that way with me and it only affects my left breast by literally 1 millimeter, but it could still become troublesome, but for $9 I'm keeping it! VERY stretchy band, I think. My 32 panache have been feeling too tight, but I had to fasten on the tightest hook and I'm pretty sure it will stretch out enough to be loose.
I tried sizing up and it seems I did not grow as much as I thought I did. Slightly big on my bigger side, crazy big on my smaller side. I actually like the pattern, and I even like the shape on my bigger side. This bra has amazing uplift, but I think the peak of the cup is higher than most. I would really like that if it fit right - but I'm afraid a size down would be too small.
I do like the way it looks under a shirt! I might consider keeping it if the band wasnt so big.
That amount of stretch is crazy! It's not pre-owned, right?
I do love the pattern - this is my fave kind of floral for lingerie - anything with a white background and botantical illustration style flowers and I'm there. I own too many bras that don't fit with this kind of print actually....
It looks great on you btw. Sorry it didn't fit :(
Thanks, it seems quite new, tags and everything
How weird and frustrating.
It really is a lovely pattern. I love the way the upper part of the cups look! Adds a subtle soft touch, it's really nice. Do they make it in a 32K that you could try?
i might even try a 32JJ. the cups are slightly big on my big side, too. tho most of the extra cloth is on the very top, adn the outside upper corner?
Beautiful!! The lift is impressive. I hope another size remedies your fit issues (crossing fingers and toes ;-) ).
I hope you can get a better fitting size as well, it really is a lovely bra. Flowers in the mist is what the upper area reminds me of. So peaceful! :)
If you pull the band tighter does the gapping go away? Sometimes that upper loose part is where the band is too loose on me.
I really want this bra as the fabrics are so soft but I hated the rocket ship shape! Maybe it was too small though. Might try it again in a bigger size.
Interesting, you have a little gap at the upper edge by the armpit too . . . might be a flaw in the design. Not sure if I'll try pulling - its already packed to go back, but not taped, so maybe.
This could be my best fitting bra so far. I first tried this in 28E, size suggested by ABTF's calculator but it was a little too small and didn't give much lift. The 28F fits better. Band is snug, stretch lace accommodates my top fullness and tall roots, and the gore is low. It was too wide so I did a little alteration. I wanted to overlap the gore but ended up not overlapping enough so it's just a lowered gore now. This makes the band tighter, which is fine for me because my snug underbust is 27 inches. The gore is much more comfortable now although it ...still sits on breast tissue a tiny little bit because I'm super close-set. The wires a little wide, but it's not causing any problems. Keep in mind though the wires are a little stiff so it takes a while to get used to it. I would definitely recommend this bra to those who have tall roots / fuller on top / projected / centre full / close set breasts. Wish it came in more pastel colours! Read more 76 more words
I have an andorra that I like, and have been curious to read about the plunge, since I am very close set as well. Thanks for the good review!
veggiechic I've never had the full cup version so I can't compare. The plunge has a wide gore but with an easy alteration you can make it super narrow, and it's low already. I've never had a gore that tacks this much apart from a customised Comexim!
The band is tight enough for used 30, but I'd be more happy with 28 band. The cups are true to size, but not very projected at the bottom. Upper part of the cups is made of very thin and stretchy lace, so it accommodates perfectly to my breast shape. It's very comfy if you have some weight fluctuations or other size changes. The shape is not perfectly round, it's closer to natural. I like the color and nice lace, but the gore is too high.
A comfortable bra, but not the right shape for me (FOB, narrow roots, projected). The wires are too wide for me, and the lift is not sufficient - if you have wide roots and are somewhat full on top, you might really love this bra. The quality is excellent, the material feels nice, and is not scratchy.
Bought this bra after finally figuring out my correct bra size! It's SO comfortable and supportive. I never thought I'd like an un-lined bra but this one just checks all the boxes. It gives me a smooth and natural shape, honestly I don't feel like I'm wearing a bra most of the time. I bought it in black but the band doesn't seem tighter than normal like some black-dyed bras.
This bra fits great. I desperately want more lift but I do like the way this bra keeps my breasts front and center. I would like a more rounded silhouette but I am becoming more accepting of how unlined, non-molded bras fit and look under clothes. My breasts are extremely soft and this bra keeps my tissue contained comfortably and properly.
I needed this bra in this colorway after I tried it in a variety of sizes. As I gained a cup size or two this year I got it in a size that might fit that was still available in this colorway, a sister size down and two cup sizes up from my previous best fit. The band is too tight but the cups are great. With an extender the straps are too wide set. I'm wondering if there's something I can do to fix the straps. Because this bra matches my skin tone (peachy pink) and is a nice full coverage bra for me, basically invisible under white shirts.
I outgrew my 34FF in this style so I stalked this one on Amazon until the price was right. When my old one got too small I forgot how comfortable it was. When I put this on my boobs say, "Aaaahhh!"
Every time I wear this bra I hate it just a little bit more, which breaks my heart, since it is so pretty and give me a nice, subtly uplifted shape. The band is very snug for a 38 -- I have to use an extender to keep from distorting the wire, while the band on 38E panache Ava fits just fine. I was hoping that it would stretch out a bit, but it isn't showing any signs of that so far. More annoyingly, it rolls whenever I sit and I have to readjust in when I get up. On the plus ...side, this is the perfect time for me to pull it back into my IMF, which it acts like it is going to sit in when I put it on, but it is just teasing while it plans its escape. So I'm guessing that my FoB breasts are just too much for it.
The gore and sides are also quite high for my high-set breasts. The gore is okay if I am standing up, but if I sit a lot, it gets quite stabby. The wings aren't poking so much, but they are high enough that they chafe, especially when I am driving.
The cups fit nicely, though maybe a bit wide, (I'm still having a hard time figuring out root width confidently) with a slight minimizing effect. And they creak like a boat every time I put it on.
I wanted so badly for this bra to fit that I pushed the wires from the gore up the other end of the channel and put in a couple of stitches to hold them in place. This helped with the gore but made the sides fit so badly that I had marks in my armpits for days, so I took the stitches out again and considered that experiment a failure.
In short, I don't believe this bra is a good fit for me. Read more 227 more words
I tried 34G - Panache » Clara Full Cup Bra (7255) (my usual Panache size) and 34GG - Panache » Clara Full Cup Bra (7255) . Clara is based on Andorra. Neither size worked for me because the cut is too shallow at the wire for my immediate projection.
I acquired this Envy quite cheap, secondhand from the buy/sell/swap subreddit. It's definitely been worn a few times (judging by the wear on the tag-- the lace itself seems to be in mostly solid condition). Also, it's possibly been put in the dryer, or in the washer, as the underwire seems to be slightly warped (though this could also be from age). The lace/band around the underwire won't seem to lay flat, but it doesn't affect the fit. I wanted to try the Envy, as it seemed that it might be deep enough in the cup, if loose in the stretch lace top. When I got it, I ...was right-- very comfortable, wasn't sliding out of my IMF nearly as badly, and the top lace was gaping like wild.
I decided to do a little experiment, given how inexpensive the bra was to begin with. I figured, if I ruined it, oh well-- now I know what definitely won't work. What I did was cut along the side of the stretch lace against the side panel of the bra, on each side. I also cut about .5" along the bottom (making an L shape and freeing the edge of the lace from the side panel of the bra). Then, I pulled the stretch lace tighter, about .5" or so at the widest point, and sewed it back on in an angle, so that the excess lace on the side made a triangle shape-- the widest point being at the top of the cup, the tip of the triangle at the bottom corner.
Doing this small and easy alteration proved to make all the difference-- there was now no gaping along the top edge at all. Of course, doing this does have one drawback-- as I only narrowed the top of the cup but not the bottom part of the cup, there will be a slight "nipple" in the fabric by the corner of the lace/side panel due to the extra fabric on the bottom accommodating for the shorter length of lace on top. However, it is barely noticeable, and definitely cannot be seen under shirts. If it were possible to do the alteration on the other side of the cup, the sides where the lace attaches near the gore, I think the alteration would come out a little nicer-- but there is just no extra room to sew. I'll also admit that I did this project as a complete novice seamstress; I can barely sew a button. The black textured lace on the outside of the bra saved my ugly stitches-- they are completely hidden in the fabric/color.
I also noted that I had a nicer, more rounded shape after tightening the lace-- which makes sense. The gaping, loose lace was not providing any extra support, while now it is. Overall, I don't think I would attempt this with a brand new, expensive bra. This is probably best saved for cheaper ones that you don't mind ruining, but I am pleased to say that this is officially my best fitting bra. Having wide/short roots with a lot of projection has proved to be a challenge for me... sometimes, you have to be creative! Read more 422 more words

This bra's measurements have been altered
I cut the stretch lace on top near the side panels, pulled it about .5" tighter, then restitched it in place. This prevents the stretch lace from gaping like crazy.
Yay for successful alterations....and cheap bras ;-) ;-)
Love it! Would love to see pictures of the alterations. There are a few bras I would like to do this to.
Sounds like a significant improvement! I, too, would love to see pictures. I'm having trouble visualizing all the steps.
I will post them up shortly! :) Just gotta get my photographer (my boyfriend) to help me out. I meant to take some of the bra before I did the alteration, but forgot until I had already finished the first cup. I will comment back when they're up!
I'm going to add these pictures to my bratabase listing as well, but here is the imgur album that has some captions/explanations. Let me know if you have any questions/what you think! :)
You know, looking at these pictures, the wires look like they are way too narrow for me. Maybe the could stand to be slightly wider, but truthfully, I was very comfortable in this bra. If anything, the wires could be a bit shorter, though.
Often FOT-friendly boobs look rather pointy on FOB boobs. But it also very projected, which can look pointy if you are used to foam domes (molded cups)
damn - i'm not all here. FOT-friendly BRAS can look pointy on FOB boobs. Its been harder to find the edit button recently?
The Jasmine tends to look a bit pointy on anyone who isn't very FoT. I actually like the shape, but if this fits you well and you'd like a rounder profile, you should give the Cleo Marcie or Cleo Hettie a go.
I second the recommendation for the Cleo Marcie- that gives me a great naturally rounded shape and some crazy amazing lift. Plus it's super cute and comes in a million colors.
Jasmine is a bit pointy on me as well, but not nearly as bad as Tango or Andorra. I think it looks lovely on you. I third the recommendation for Marcie/Lucy Cleo bras for rounded uplift. I'm shallow and they manage to make me look rounded.
Clara's so pretty! I feel sexy wearing it. The cups are very soft and smooth, and the top section of the bra has stretch for a very flattering fit. There's slightly too little depth for me at the wire, but not enough to push underwires out from my IMF. Although the gore is pretty tall, it's not quite as high as Panache Andorra, which is the highest I've worn, and as such I don't get much pressure. The band is snug but not too tight. I kind of want Clara in every colorway--it's just that beautiful.
I am a fan of the type of bra that makes you feel strapped up and well supported, with a good projected shape and this delivers on all of those aspects. It's not the most comfortable bra just because the straps should be thicker and the band is quite a snug fit compared to other Panache bras that I have. If you need to look amazing in a tshirt this bra is your guy. The lace is really stretchy and comfortable but over time it's become a bit loose so take care to hand wash so you get a good amount of wear out of it.
So lately Clara has had some lovely colors come out and a few months back I tried on Duck Egg blue because I read a review somewhere that noted it had more depth at the bottom than previous models.
I've tried on that colorway twice now, as well as Heather and Steel Blue. I can confirm that specifically Duck Egg blue has more depth than the other two, and probably all the previous models. (Got such a great deal on the Heather colorway I couldn't pass it up.)
Still, the Heather is comfortable and supportive. The color combo is lovely; something more than just a neutral. It sits just below ...my IMF with a little cup wrinkling and I have a slight triboob on one side in all three colorways. It's hardly noticeable, unless I'm looking for it. I've worn it a couple of full days without discomfort.
The bottoms are comfy, too! This is a damn shame seeing as how I am not a fan of the Jasmine bottoms where the Jasmine bras fit me so well. It's like I can have one or the other with Panache.
At some point (I guess soon?) I will go ahead and grab the Duck Egg colorway, because looks crazy good on me with my eye/skin coloration. I was not as thrilled with the Steel blue colorway on me as expected, so ultimately I'll take a pass knowing there's a shape mismatch anyway. Read more 129 more words
I love this bra dearly and cannot understand why Panache decided to discontinue it after 2 seasons (or so it seems to me, having not seen it in previews for aw16 and ss17). It looks gorgeous, it's incredibly comfortable, and gives a very pleasant shape - round, but not to the extent of the Cleo orbs.
The band is true to size, stretching to 30in, and the gore tacks perfectly. I like the gothic arch band construction. I'm no expert, but it feels like it gives additional support, and looking nice doesn't hurt either. The projection at the bottom of the cups is ample for me, but I'm not ...FOB. I've read in some reviews that the cups are closed on top, but they don't strike me as such. The upper section of the cup lies perfectly flat, even though my roots are somewhat long. Also, I really appreciate the soft mesh fold-over cup edges, as it stays really flat agains the breast, flatter than lace edges tend to. The cups are quite low-coverage on me, having a true balconette shape.
The colour contrast between dusty rose pink and charcoal is great, and all the fabrics look upscale. There's quite a bit of wrinkling on the cups, but I believe its only the outer, stiff mesh, rather than the cup as a whole. The centre bow is the only ornament, and it's small and understated, which works perfectly. The fully adjustable straps are extra comfortable, with soft lining.
If only Panache released more colourways, I could wear Georgia and nothing else. Read more 150 more words
That color looks great on you! I do the same thing. When I find something I love I buy it in any color I can find to stock up.
