Basic side support balcony bra. The cups are made from semi-sheer houndstooth fabric with floral patterned stretchy lace in the upper part. The contrast between the menswear-inspired fabric and the more feminine elements like the floral patterns and the little bows on straps an center gore give this otherwise unpretending design a little extra twist.
I find this bra very comfortable and I like the soft touch of materials used. The shape is rounded but more in a tear-drop way. It's a perfect everyday bra which is pretty even if not as stunning as some other Panache or Cleo designs. But it works well in situations were support is more important than looks. I just did a whole moving wearing this one and everything was still in place afterwards.
This bra fits well in theory, there is nothing "wrong" with the fit, but it gives me very pointy and somehow odd shape which I don´t like https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The shape is even pointier that I get in the plunge version.
Other than that, it is a good bra. No poking anywhere, it is very comfortable. Normally I wear 28F, but this has a snug band and 30 band is okay for me. I did have to size up in the cup (to 30F), because I got massive quadboob in 30E. The straps are fully adjustable. The wires are wide enough for ...me ( I need average - wider wires) and they are not too flexible, they keep their shape https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The colour I just love, I think I got this bra because of the colour... Caribbean blue that is.
EDIT. I have some wrinkles at the bottom of the cups. They do go away if I tighten the straps, but then the side panels pull my breasts and the shape is more strange.
EDIT 2. I changed the fitting status because I do get quadboob during PMS. Even non-PMS the top lace flattens my boobs and even if it is technically not real quadboob, it shows that the cup is too small at the top. Read more 118 more words
Not great for the asymmetrical - it fits my left boob beautifully but rides up under the armpit near my slightly smaller right boob. The fabric feels a bit scratchy and the band is a bit thin.
The cups are unusually tall, which is good if you like that sort of thing. I'm personally not a fan. Still, the overall impression is nice, especially under clothing.
I bought it on clearance and it was worth $14, but I wouldn't pay full price.
The bra doesn't look good on my breast, the cups look like big plates, there is too much cloth used for them, and my breasts disappear in this bra – my breasts are not _that_ big, even if the size is right. The band is very elastic. The cups don't form the breasts in a pretty way. I still have and sometimes use this bra, but I don't really like it.
What I’m working with: Petite frame, & Low-set, Self-supporting, Close-set, VERY splayed, Asymmetrical, More projected on bottom, & More spread out & shallow on top breasts
My splay made this SOOOOO flattening - it didn’t pull in my tissue from the sides AT ALL. Absolutely no side support, and no rounding or uplift whatsoever. My breasts were flattened in front and they happily took up residence on the side, so they looked as shallow and wide as pancakes. From the front it gave me a very east-west look that had zero depth when I turned to the side.
In addition to the pancaking, I experienced squaring/flattening of bottom of cup as my breasts settled because there is not nearly enough immediate projection.
To add to my fit issues, I have some mild pectus excavatum which means a well-tacking, normal-height gore tilts inward and stabs me in the sternum. It was excruciating to wear.
It looks like a fit from the pics I took, but it felt awful and I felt like I looked awful. I HIGHLY dislike this bra.
This is the first non-molded bra I've tried, so still figuring out my actual shape. I also bought this in a 30E, and in both sizes there is wrinkling at the center of the cup and pronounced wrinkling along the sides. The wires feel about 1/2" too wide. There also appears to be a little gapping at the bottom of the cups towards the sides. This bra feels more comfortable than the 30E, but the puckering is worse and I don't feel like I'm getting as much support on the bottom of the cups. I don't like the pulling and pyramiding towards the center, or the pointy rocket bra profile under clothes
I like the lace & details on the cup design. The Andorra gives me a pretty natural but still supported shape. The cup width is about 0.5 to 1 cm too wide, though the wires don't stab me on the sides, and it gives some leeway when my chest is bigger during my period. However, the gore, my No.1 issue area with most UK bras, stabs me in the tit after wearing it for too long, unfortunately. I still wear it pretty often. It's not perfect but on most days, it's a decent bra that fits 95% of the way.
This is a great fit in terms of cup shape. No wrinkles anywhere. Good projection, just the right amount of openness on top, and decently supportive. The Envy give me a rounded shape. The band is pretty standarad Panache TTS. Unfortunately the gore seems to be an issue area for me and for a lot of people. It's a bit too wide and tall. It presses into my sternum a bit after wearing it for a while. Though I still think the Envy is a bra that fits, despite the gore.
The navy/teal colorway is soooooo pretty! The Clara has narrower wires & gore than the Panache Envy. However, the wires are still stiff (this I'm okay with) and the gore too wide & tall (not as okay with). I also need more immediate projection than the average projection the cups provide. There are a bit of wrinkles near the wires. Going up a cup size was able to mitigate the projection issue for me.
First day I took it to Pilates class because I felt confortable enough to do so and it held in place. Was a great relief to remove at the end of the day, though
The 30F - Panache » Imogen Balconnet (10161) works for me as a bra under loose and thin shirts, dresses and blouses in summer. This bra makes my breasts point forward and a bit pointy in shape (instead of a more rounded shape). There is elasticity at the top, so no quad-boob under my thin summer clothing. You can notice the texture of the lace and the seams of the bra a little under my thinnest of shirts. I am not bothered by that. The color is amazing and is invisible under white summer clothing.
I was encouraged to go for 30F instead of 32E by the consultant. Though I was initially hesitant, I decided to trust her advice. After wearing it 4 or 5 times, it still gives me red lines from being so tight. When buying another bra, another consultant saw redness and said a bra should not irritate my skin. One wider (32/70) was still tight enough in her opinion. She did agree that the fit around the cup was pretty much perfect.
The bra will work as a t-shirt bra but it won't conceal nipples, they still show through. I tried this bra as it commonly recommended for full on bottom, projected shaped but I found it did not have enough immediate projection at the wire for me.
For reference I’m fob with slight to average projection and centre full. This is the first bra I’ve ever gotten that fits this well! I ended up getting it in a 30F which is my sister size as I was worried 28band would be too tight. After swooping and scooping its great, best fit I’ve ever had apart from the gore which is a tad too tall, and the bra itself is super cute in black. The upper half being stretch lace made it accommodating and to be honest if I got this in my true size it might’ve been a bit better. Though the fabric is a little itchy I’m sure it’ll be more comfortable the more it’s washed and worn.
When I originally bought this, it was my first non padded bra and the first full cup I'd worn in years. I love the colour, stretch and feel of this bra. I was scared to get a full cup bra as I'm FoT and have had terrible luck with enclosed bras. This however was just right with the stretch.
It no longer fits me and the pictures are pictures I took recently so they don't show how it looked when it fit perfectly.
Some things this bra really got right for me: The height of the wing is perfect. No rubbing. The gore doesn't dig in or separate too much.
Little things I don't like is the lace at the bottom rolls up and the band has always been a tad snug.
As for now, I think I would need to get a band and cup size up but I'm not 100% sure till I try.
I do not like this bra, it is so uncomfortable. There isn't enough room in the bottom of the cups, making them pull, wrinkle, pucker. The top of the cup is wrinkly but the very top edge lays flat. Embroidery is nice. I'm dissappointed this didn't work out. There isn't enough bottom projection and it fits terribly and is super uncomfortable. Pass. Top edge of cup 6"
I'm always looking for very low gores and low coverage cups, so thanks for the review!
