In search for a bra which I could wear with deeper cleavage. I don't like padded bras, so discovering Ana was some kind of revelation for me. I was eager to discover, how it will work with my breasts. Overall, this bra is really beautiful, provides great shape, and in 30F fits me just fine. But... the band is really loose as for a 30. Even when it was new, I could easily fasten it on tightest hook. Right now I have to do it for bra to be comfortable, because I've lost some weight (not much though).
Wires poke me a bit because the are really low, but it does not bother me a lot. Only a little - but this is a thing I can sacrifice to wear some deeper V dress or blouse.
When I initially try this on and do swoop and scoop, there is definitely an improvement in the fit, although the problem is only temporarily fixed because if I move at all the stretch lace falls back to where it wants to be. When I do this the tops of the cups are now filled out a bit better, but there still is lots of wrinkling - loose wrinkling on top from not being full, and wrinkling at the bottom of the cup from being pulled too tightly. As well as the wrinkling at the bottom, I can see and feel my boob forming a "shelf" inside the ...cup. The cup isn't forming to my breast, it is instead being pulled tight to make a flat part just above the underwire. I understand this may be because there is not enough immediate projection. I didn't expect this bra to give me these problems since it is recommended for people who have FOB breasts. The wires are too wide for me and they stretch too far around my side. The band is a teensy bit tight, so the underwire is a bit painful. Overall this is a poor fit for my shape, and is very uncomfortable for me to wear. The cups spacing is good though, and the gore hugs my body.
From the front this gives a very rounded shape, but from the side it gives a fairly pointy shape. This may be due to the fact it does not fit though. Read more 144 more words
I like that the lace pattern is somewhat weblike, and that the cups are closer together than many of my bras. I don't actually fill the the cups along the top (see angled photo) but it isn't that noticable. The band is too tight for me to wear, so I only tried it on. I think this one would be worth trying in another size.
I like this bra a lot. I'm not crazy about the color. The band runs big, so I will need to order a 28G (sister size). I don't have any gapping at the top, despite my FOB breasts.
Other than the gore width (I need it a tiny bit narrower) this is the perfect fit for me. I have above average projection, narrow and tall roots, and I’m close set and full on bottom.
I was sure this bra would fit. It has everything I need: narrow wires, deep cups and stretchy lace on top. But it doesn't fit. I always thought I was even to FOT, but after trying this bra I doubt. It makes the upper part of my breasts look very flat, and all the shape is rather pointy. Maybe I should try another size?
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
Band is super tight, I can fasten it, but it’s uncomfortable. I put on an extender and it was fine then (band wise) to assess how the cups fit.
The cups are too separate for me and the gore sits on my breast tissue (yet again), the wire at the wing is slightly short and some boob does escape, especially on my left side which is a little bigger. The top part of the cup is almost perfect, presses in slightly, but doesn’t really give me quad boob.
About the fabric, ...I hate how stiff it is and frankly I didn’t really like the way it looked. I can appreciate that maybe some will like the stiffness of the fabric, but it’s not for me. The beige color I got feels super unflattering on me. I also don’t really like bras that don’t have the whole band underneath the cup, it feels sort of cheap-looking to me. Just a personal preference I discovered from trying some of these styles on. Read more 79 more words
I love this bra. It is a miracle worker for lift and shaping. I tried two other sizes before landing on the perfect fit and I'm glad I persevered. THis bra just feels grown up without being stodgy, perhaps something Katherine Hepburn would have worn.
My shape: mid-height front-facing teardrop-profile (ski jump with no "jump") with tall shallow roots, low apex, lots of immediate projection underneath but moderate overall projection, wide roots with lots of side fullness and shallow tails that wrap all the way to the shoulder blade, extremely close-set center tissue (possibly a trace of natural symmastia), and very firm self-supporting tissue that when pushed out of shape will push right back.
This bra was one of 5 Panache Jasmines I bought to try from Nordstrom. I also tried a 30FF in black, a 30FF in nude, a 30F in nude, and a 30FF in navy houndstooth.
Jasmine and I are clearly not ...meant to be. The cups fit better than the 30FF - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) , the overall projection is a closer match, and there's less obvious issue with the top panel (which stretches nicely over my shallow upper root!), but the problems with lack of immediate depth at the wire and the apex being too high are more apparent, as well as giving a decidedly pointy profile.
The gore is too tall and stabby, but has an interesting flared shape that mirrors my own IMF pretty closely. The straps are still too far apart, although they don't chafe as ferociously as the 30FFs. The wires are narrower and the wings/side cups are slightly lower, allowing a little bulge of tissue to show over the top. However, they aren't uncomfortable, and the band fits perfectly (snug 72/BTT 66.5 cm today).
Given the changes between this and the 30FF in black, I'd be curious to see how a 30E fits in the cups, if only for comparison's sake, but I don't think the loss of wire width would work out, ultimately. Read more 182 more words
This looks much better then the 30FF. But I agree that the shape is just too projected for you. Did you ever try the Panache Envy or Andorra (full cup)?
I tried the Andorra in a 30FF, but I need a 30F (or preferably a 28FF), I think. I haven't tried the Envy, yet, though!
I bought this bra because of it's construction similarities to the Panache Envy Balconnet Bra (7285): enough projection, side support panels and stretch lace in the upper cups. Both work for me in the same size, but the shape in get in the Jasmine is a tad pointier.
I think this difference is due to the stiffer fabric used here for the bottom part of the cups (the Envys cups are made of mesh layers). As I am FoB I don't have a enough fullness up there to smooth out the juncture between fabric and lace. For me this is not a dealbreaker as this bra is otherwise comfortable and dependable and comes in all those pretty designs.
I loved my black 30F - Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285), so getting this pretty cassis colorway was a no brainer. For me the natural but centered shape with side support panels and stretch lace in the upper cups is perfect for an everyday bra.
Lookwise the texture mixing in an otherwise solid bra worked great in black and looks even richer in this warm purple shade.
This is a secondhand bra, so that was not a big surprise for me that the band is stretch out for my measurements. To tell the truth, even new Clara is rather lose in 30 band for me. But the cups fit good and give me naturally round shape. And I love this bra so much that I'm ready to alter the band if it is necessary. It is necessary and i will make the band fit. The color is close to my perfect nude, but the lace is very visible under the white t-shirt. I have the same bra in pale pink and this one in nude. I can't compare the bands, but the cups fit the same in both
I've got it here via exchange ( it came without tags), but I can't see any signs of wear. Elsa is in great condition, and it's a really very nice bra! The shape of the cups is very unusual for me. I've never tried bras with such kind of three-part cups before. Maybe it's not a perfect fit for me, as the given shape is not very round and uplifted, the cups are rather closed on top, but the mesh is very sheer and delicate. Only the down part of the cups is lined. The band is tight, but comfortable for me ( I used to prefer 28 tight band, but after loosing some weight, I feel better in tight 30 band size) I think one cup smaller could fit me better, but I'm not sure
The Clara in Cream/Nude has a slightly longer band than my Blush Pink Clara - it's a better band fit for me and the gore is a bit less pokey - but still too high for my liking. The lace on this version isn't contrasting, which makes this colourway less exciting, but it does disappear under white t shirts! I have tallish roots, even projection, center fullness and I'm low set. The cups don't come up high enough for me in this size - my nipples are above the apex .... so I think I need to try it in a 32F/30FF.
I think this Blush Pink colourway is beautiful, and it's flattering against my pale skin - more yellow-y neutrals look horrible on me, maybe because I have a pink undertone? Anyway, it's a lovely looking bra, and it works as a nude on me. I'm not sure if it's just my particular bra, or this colourway in general, but the band runs tight - my measurements bear this out I think. It's a bit too small for me overall, I get a floating straps on both sides, more on my larger side - I'm probably inbetween cup sizes, annoyingly. I'm evenly projected and the cup depth works pretty well for me, although there's a tiny bit of smooshed down fabric at the bottom of the cup on my larger side. The gore IS high, and pokes against my sternum. It's so gorgeous though! I'd like to try it in a 32F and a 30FF....
This looks much better then the 30FF. But I agree that the shape is just too projected for you. Did you ever try the Panache Envy or Andorra (full cup)?
