This bra is a Panache Tango II (3251). It is too tight of a band, because I've gained weight since I bought it, but it still fits alright otherwise. The straps dig into my shoulders a lot, too, but I put that to have low set boobs. My boobs are low and wide set, large roots, bottom heavy, and round shaped. It's a comfortable bra, but the pattern tends to stand out when I'm wearing thinner clothes, which I don't care for. Overall, I'm pleased with the bra, but I cannot wear it comfortably any more.
Right off the bat, the band is tight. It is stretchy, but not enough for me; not unwearable, but would definitely be uncomfortable after a while. I do like the ballet back which minimizes back fat...if it weren't so tight. The band is tall enough under my arms to bring everything forward, but the tightness of the band...well let's just say it's not a pretty sight! The cups are a little too narrow for me that the outer cup doesn't sit well. The top of the cups are a very soft stretch lace and doesn't need a band of elastic at the edge to keep ...it flat. Unfortunately the cups quad on me, and I suspect it's because the band is too small. The seams do show just a bit under a snug T-shirt. The gore is the best I have ever seen! At 2" tall, it is about my height limit. But the width is a wonderful 5/8" wide! Perfect for close-set breasts! As for the color, I'm not a huge fan of gray. Particularly this one; just a medium, boring gray. If it were lighter or darker it would be prettier, but I will admit it's neutral enough that it won't show under your clothes. For reference, my breasts are FOB, narrow-rooted, projected, splayed, wide-set, squishy and I am generally petite and don't have any ribcage squish. I am a 30F in Comexim three-part half-cups, but sometimes fit smaller cup sizes in other manufacturers, though they are usually a shape/fit mismatch for other reasons. I was excited to try to the Jasmine due to the projection, but unfortunately the cups are too big at the top (like, lace flapping in the breeze at the top of the cup) and at the apex, and the shape is too pointy for me due to the horizontal seam, anyway. I'd keep it as a bedroom-only bra because I love the blue/black reptile print with black lace, but the cups are way too big to make it work. I never have gore issues but did find this one was quite tight against my sternum.
This is the most comfortable molded cup bra I own. The fit isn't great as the gore is too wide and doesn't sit flush at the top but the bra is so soft and the projection is decent so I wear it anyway. When I first got it, it had the tightest band ever and was strangling me, but after 1 wash it became a totally different bra and now it is the stretchiest bra I own.
Very short, projected, even, somewhat narrow, close-set breasts...
I'm embarrassed. I ordered, from Amazon, seven bras (6 Panache plunges), and all of them will be returned. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" />
Because gores are always too wide, I thought plunges might offer relief to my always stabbed-by-the-wire breasts. Still, the low gore is too wide. Within 5 minutes, a deep red mark developed on my most center-full breasts. No, thank you. Admittedly, I could narrow the low gore, but that alteration has not worked well for me.
The fabrics and wires are supportive. The cups, depite their height, fit well. The cup edge does cut into my upper roots, ...but this size is one or two sizes small. And, the narrow straps are fluted to create a more stable and beautiful strap. But, the wires...! Panache and Cleo are officially banned from my "potentials" list. There is little padding and they bite. Curvy Kate and Comexim aren't this painful when the cup is two sizes too small.
The fabric: I feel like I'm wearing curtain sheers, and not in a good way. And, if you have prominent nipples, they are on full display. My sincere and heartfelt apologies to the Amazon employee/s who practically ran while assembling this order. They will run again to restock six Panache bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> Read more 116 more words
This was my first bra since using r/abrathatfits to find my right size. I am a 32F/FF but I thought this would fit me anyway. The cups are a bit too small, I would need to go up a cup size. I don't really like the shape this gives me. I look a bit cone-y and that's not a shape I like. The detailing on this is very pretty though.
if you go down a band size, you have to go up a cup size to get the same volume, so you would need a 30 FF/G to get the same volume as a 32F/FF
Also, while I don't know if it remains the same for the plunge version, Tango is a bra that generally just doesn't work on smaller sizes - it's best for large band large bust.
dbmamaz Thank you, I realized that after I got it. I have another 30F that fits like a 32FF and it fits me great!
Really pretty bra but I'm realising tall gores and balconettes generally are just not my friend. This bra is too full on the top for me and I don't have enough upper tissue to fill it out completely. It's not an awful fit though and the slight looseness on top is not noticeable under clothing - in fact the bra does give a very round and uplifted profile indeed so actually looks great under a top. And I fill out the bottom perfectly so it's the right size. But the gore is not ideal as I'm just aware of it when I wear it and find it slightly irritating. Think a bradrobe overhaul to remove/stop buying tall gore bras is in order!
Just like it's blue counterpart, the scarlet fits amazingly! And the color is beautiful and classy! I happen to find that the cups seem a little bit deeper than the blue version...need more swooping and scooping, maybe?
I really want this to fit. It's such a pretty bra, I have a weakness for those. But the lace really stretchy and the cups are slightly too wide. I don't really get lift with it.
This is the poorest quality big-brand name bra I have tried. The fabric is scratchy and thin in a way that holds wrinkles and doesn't let them go. You'd almost have to iron the thing (if that wasn't such a no-no). Band seems true to size. Cups too. The underwire slightly digs into my ribs an the cups are way too wide for me.
This bra fits pretty well, but the lace at the top gapes slightly unless I lean or cross my arms. I guess I need a little more fullness on top to be the ideal shape for this bra, although it is pretty.
This bra gave me such a strange pointy and triangular shape. The lace also hit in a very strange place and really did nothing to conceal my nipple in any way at all.
This would be a very very comfortable bra, if it only fit. However, the band was VERY stretchy so that even on the tightest hook I could still get a whole hand under there. The cups seemed shallow, and more widely spaced than my natural placement likes. And on top of that, they were quite small, giving me major quad-boob.
Now that we've moved and are fairly settled in I wanted to try bras again. Trying ANY non-moulded, non-padded bra is a big step for me, but quite a few ladies here have suggested doing so, and seeing the wisdom I've decided to try a few.
This bra is very pretty, especially in the soft green (granted, a favourite colour of mine!), but just does not fit so I really cannot accurately judge the bra. I would not call this a real balconnette bra—the cups come up quite high on my chest, though this may be due to my not fitting it right. Anyhow, too much gaping at the ...top of the cups—it is absolutely the wrong size, much too large for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> This is one Bratabase recommended in this size...I'm starting to think I'm just defective or am somehow measuring improperly. Or both!
Failure #327 aside, it IS a pretty bra; lace is feminine and seems soft and comfortable. I just do not have nearly enough 'ooomph' to fill the top of the cups and my husband has absolutely put the kibosh on my getting implants so things fit correctly. Darn (to both problems)! This bra seems to have very wide wires, and they are also very uncomfortable especially at the gore. The cup is also too big, especially at the top of the cup. Sizing down a cup may help with the cup fit, but I think it would still be uncomfortable.
This bra has similar problems with the 30E I tried, band too tight and the cups being terrible. My review for that one is here http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlzlv/.
Is it a spacer bra?
