I originally bought this bra in a 30E, immediately quadboobed without swooping and scooping, so I thought 30F might fit. It fits very well, unless I swoop and scoop, and which point I have some quadboobing, but it settles and doesn't quadboob afterwards so I felt it was okay enough for me to wear around. Might actually need a 30FF in this (so a size up from what you might normally need, since I'm pretty sure I'm a 30F/28FF normally) or it might just be shallow, but I don't know if I'll order another one, because I tend to like t-shirt bras over lacy/cute ones. Other than that, it'll probably be a decent bra for someone who's shallow.
Update: Decided to keep this bra. After a few months and a few pounds lost I found I could fit into it just fine. Still slightly pointy boobs, but less so since it fits better now.
The Imogen Rose is a nice simple bra made of comfortable fabric. The band, underwire, and straps all fit fine, and the sides and bottoms of the cups are perfect, BUT, the very center front of the cup puffs out and I can't fill it. It's a real shame, because everything else is perfect. This would be a good bra for someone with a more protruding breast shape.
Firstly, this bra is GORGEOUS. The color is very rich, and the nude cup lining is very subtle. The shape of the cup is good, providing cleavage without compromising security. I bought a 36G (a band size down than I usually wear) because it was on sale, not expecting it to fit well because of reviews I have read about Pour Moi's bands running small. However, a 36G feels quite loose on me, even on the tightest set of hooks. This isn't an everyday bra, but it is great to wear every now and again because of how beautiful it is.
Bottom of the bra seems to push my boobs up weirdly. Would probably suit someone who is more FoT better. Cup size is also too big, but that's a completely separate issue.
I wanted something with a dramatic push-up effect but this bra just lies on my breasts instead of pushing them upwards. I think this has to do with my breast shape as I know from pictures of other women that it can definetly have that extreme push up effect. Of course my boobs still look a lot bigger under shirts with this bra but I don't get much cleavage. This was the first Gel bra I ever bought and it will probably be the last as I don't like how heavy it is compared to "normal" bras.
I didn't realize when I bought this bra that it had push-up padding, which is not removable. Also the gore presses a little too hard against my sternum, making it uncomfortable. It does give amazing cleavage though!
I bought this bra in Marine - and my goodness it is stunning! So, so beautiful. The cups run slightly large, I think - or at least, they're made for slightly fuller-on-top breasts. I have fullness near the middle, but not on top, so there's some slight wrinkling there. Keeping this one, though, the underwires are nice and firm, and there's enough immediate projection at the bottom of the cup. I'm also pretty sure I'd quadboob in a smaller size. Besides, it's just too damn pretty to let out of my sight! It's prettier than in the picture on Figleaves' site - probably because I have more boob and therefore more embroidery. Nice sheer cups even in 32HH, none of that "extra lining" nonsense.
Band is quite snug, would probably be good for those with 26" underbust, if I was going to keep this bra I think I would have to wear it with an extender.
Cups are true to size, but the shape does not suit me at all - makes my breasts looks pointy, flat on the sides/bottoms and then round in the centre/top. I think this is because the bottom of the cup has two layers (stiffer), and the top just has one, so it ends up smooshing the sides/bottoms of my breasts.
Other issues are that the cups are too close-set for me, there is no space between the underwires where they meet at the gore. The gore also comes up too high on me, pokes my sternum uncomfortably.
Got the mint and pink colored one, gorgeous. It is comfortable although it clearly does not fit. Should have gone up at least 2 cup sizes, which I should have thought of since it is a push-up bra.
This bra just feels tight all around. It might be because I'm really between a 30D and a 30DD - leaning towards a 30DD. It's a very structured bra, so getting the right size is important. It is nice that there's a little padding because it's so hard to find bras with a little lift in my size.
This bra is really beautiful but it just didn't fit me at all. I didn't nearly fill out the top/middle of the cup and then it cut into my boobs still at the top.
It is the most comfy of the bras, even though the other 34 I tried felt way too tight, and it was ridiculously hard to get on, I think the long band made it so comfy.
I also couldn't really get it to fit right. At first it looked ok but the bottom was way below my underbreast. And when I tried adjusting it up the centre gore just wouldn't quite lay flat, which is a first for me with bras.
The side of the bra looks wrong to me, the side looks sideways like it is too small? I don't know if that's a band size issue or maybe it's not an issue.
When I first started wearing this bra, the gore dug in a little bit, but I have since gotten accustomed to it. The fabric is stiff and the bra is shaped with a light lining throughout. The lace patterns do show through even the thickest T-shirt, so if you're uncomfortable with that it may cause issues. The quality of the material is excellent, and the bra itself is adorable!
This bra seems to fit ok, but with wear longer than 1 hour it causes pain on my ribs and generally hurts. The lace is also very prominent so must be worn under thick fabric, shows through a tank(cami) with built in shelf bra.
The band runs very tight, there's very little stretch. This made the band far too small for me, so I'm waiting on an extender. The lace on the top of the cups is soft, and accommodates my upper fullness well. The shape it gives is quite natural, though it's more supportive than it is uplifting. The bra itself looks quite nice, and is available in some very pretty colours. The seams do show under shirts with thinner material.
I have shallow boobs with a wide root, and this bra unfortunately did not work for my shape (I tried both 30DD and 30E), which is too bad since I love the idea of a strapless longline.
It has one vertical seam intersecting a horizontal seam, and so far the only bras that fit me have 2 vertical seams only. It was way too closed on top for me, giving me a pointy "beak" shape along the horizontal seam.
It has a pretty firm band for a 30 (I should be wearing a 28, if possible), with 5 hooks per column, 3 columns. There is boning on the sides, and the straps are easily removable.
