I use the Candy as a sleep bra when I am out camping or sleeping over at a friend's. It's a very basic wireless cotton bra, quite comfortable for moving about the house and getting the mail, but - for me - its use stops there. I suppose that if someone if a fan of wireless bras, they might wear it regularly, but it doesn't shape the boobs enough for my taste.
Taste aside, this bra is seriously small in the cup. When I was a 28H/HH, it fit more or less fine - now that I am a 30H/HH, it is really, really small for me. The back ...edge of the cup ends halfway across my breast. I've stopped wearing it because it was just like trying to squeeze my boobs into a too-small size all over again.
Also, the seams on one of the cups have split... I wasn't too gentle with the bra (no wires? into the washing machine with you!) and I have worn it quite extensively, but this hasn't happened to any of my other bras. Read more 71 more words
This bra absolutely does not screw around when it comes to a snug band. I would highly recommend sizing up a band size. The cups also seem to run a tiny bit small, but I would give your normal cup volume a shot before sizing up.
Overall a comfy soft bra. Gives a pointy shape and slightly lacking in support without underwires. Nursing straps non-adjustable. I find them annoying on my smaller side. Very frumpy looking.
Fitted at Bravissimo for this one. Can wear all day and only a little sore at the sides by the time I go to bed. The outer edges of the cup roll up at the bottom but have been told that this happens with non wired bras. This corresponds with the sore areas so assume it is down to increasing the pressure on those points.
Tight band (stretches to just about 28") and very small in the cups- I would order at least one cup size up. Good separation for a wirefree nursing bra.
This is not a cute bra at all. It looks like a nursing bra, no doubt about it. It also digs in a lot; I have to wear an extender but it doesn't solve the digging problem because the issue is with the sides, not the back.
The shape it offers is very very natural. Basically looks like my breasts, but with more lift.
This bra is very comfortable. It's not quite as supportive as an underwired bra, and the band is quite stretchy, but it's really nice for an around-the-house bra or a sitting-around-the-office bra. Great for days when you don't want to deal with an underwire. I liked it so much that I bought two of them!
Alas, I have grown out of this bra. It needs to find a new home.
I finally found the perfect wireless bra in my size! The band is really tight though so I may use an extender. The cups are a smooth, moulded, seamless type unlike many other wireless bras in my size that have 3 part cups which make my otherwise round shape super pointy. This style makes me perfectly rounded and is great for everyday wear, I only wish they made it in nude, but black is the only color https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Review to come shortly, but this runs very small in the back and the cups. I would recommend ordering this 1-2 band sizes up (1 for daily use, 2 for sleep) and 2 cup sizes up.
The band is firm enough. I feel that this bra would be a great fit if it had underwires (and if the cups were narrower). But now, there is not enough support, my boobs sneak under my arms and, instead of pointing straight ahead, my nipples point to left and right with a 90 degree angle between them.
This one's an old companion - worn a lot out of necessity, back when there was no better alternative. The band has stretched out. I think Royce bands generally tend to be quite stretchy. The cups, maybe a size too small, push my breast in towards the chest and out under the arms, as there are no underwires. Yet if I were to try a bigger cup size, the cups would probably wrinkle on the top.
Still on the lookout for a nice wireless bra, but this is not the one for me. The band is itsy bitsy, would fit a 26 or even a 24! The cups were too small for me, so created a pointed shape. However, the band is very soft and the bra seems like it would be comfy if I had it in the right size.
I'm going to be selling this one, so if you have a really tiny band size, now's your chance! Its new with tags.
Upon purchase, this 30 band size fits me well on the tightest hook. It gives good lift, much better than the other Royce nursing bras I have, and it is very nice-looking. An elastic strap holds the strap in place when the cup is unclipped, and this strap is too long--I will probably alter it. Though the bra fits well, there are funny wrinkles under the arms. The center gore does not lie flat, but I don't think it's necessarily supposed to on a soft-cup bra (one of the things I don't like about Bratabase's evaluation system) so I marked that it did so the bra will show up as fitting--since none of my other bras do. I have a short distance between shoulders and my breasts, and have the straps shortened as far as they will go and would like it if I could shorten them a little more. I will update this review when I have had this bra for longer.
I bought this nursing bra about a month post-baby. Now 10 months post-baby it is definitely too large. I'm not sure if it ever fit entirely correctly but I was desperate when I bought it and it has been passable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> On me the cup is definitely too big at the bottom, sides, AND top. Oy vey! I can't really comment on how well this bra would work on somebody who it actually fit. I do think it might work well on a more full-on-top shape, but I'm not positive.
I tried on this bra for a second and took it off right away, the cups were too pointy as with the Freya sports bra, and the cups were also very very small. It definitely runs very small on the cups, you might want to try a couple of cups bigger than you normally need which is a shame for a J cup.
On the other side, the band is *very* tight, runs like a very small 28 or even a 26! I usually wear 20-30 bands but should have gotten a 32 on this bra, the 30 was painfuly to close and could not even breathe.
The velcro and hooks are an extremely safe way to hook the bra, but I needed help to get it on an off.
