Knowing that SA sports bras run small, I decided to size up with the band. I didn't really size up with the cups as I hope to keep this bra for longer. I notice some quad-boob action on my left as it is the larger one of my two and is the one that's FoT. My right side, however, feels nice and secure.
This is the first sport bra I tried with molded cups and probably the last. The cups are very wide and shallow with no wires. The cups were lumpy no matter what. Maybe if I went down a cup size it might look better but it would be uncomfortable. The band feels firm and supportive, it's runs tight. I like the fun bright colors.
I am using this bra at home, and with a looser T-shirt with some applications at front it helps me look more flat. For now this is very comfortable, although running I'm recently experiencing some pain inside the breasts after about 10-15 minutes (medium-high pace). Sometimes it makes me feel the most comfortable, sometimes I can't stand wearing it - it changes for every bra for me from time to time without the measurements change.
It could be more flattening for me, although I am worried if it wouldn't hurt then.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
This is the 6th Shock Absorber bra I try. This one is a better fit for me then the Classic Support style, but it was very tight in the band. I tried it with an extender, and added two extra hooks, and the cups felt better, but I'm not sure if they're still somewhat too small for me.
The top hook is very hard to do once you put the bra on; I managed to hook it, but I was contorting in every which way which was ridiculous. The ...straps are borderline too short for me, but they're okay. The fabric is stiff to offer compression, but not uncomfortable. I wish it came up a little bit higher in the front and the sides, which is where I still have movement when I do the bounce test.
I am not keeping this bra, but I want to try this in a 34DD and 34E to compare the two sizes to see if these are a better fit for me. Read more 79 more words
Lol, I had to turn this bra around to get it on so I know need to go up a cup size, but I do like the support that bra gives -- it reigns my breasts in by about 11-12cm.
Please see my review of the 32F in the black color way here: http://bra.pe/X0lQ/
This bra has the same problems I mentioned on the other review, mainly I had a problem with the straps not adjusting long enough. This one adjusts long enough but just barely. I’m not sure it would be comfortable during exercise since I ended up returning it. This colorway cut in a bit less at the top (compared to the black color), so no quad boob really. All the bras have very wonky fits, I only recommend ordering online if returns are available.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
Another Shock Absorber bra, another wonky fit. On this size, the band feels okay, I can wear it on the second set of hooks. However, I do notice the elastic rolls up quite a bit (it even rolled a bit in the photos) and that can be uncomfortable doing exercise. The straps adjust long enough (but just barely!) and are on the loosest setting.
The cup fit is definitely better than the 32E and 34DD bras I tried. I’m inclined to say that after all these size try-ons, that this bra ...runs about a cup size too small and a band size too small in my my range. Disappointing to see that there isn’t much consistency and I can see how ordering online is quite a challenge.
The cup is still bordering on too small and there is some quad boob (hard to see in the photos) albeit much less than the cup size down.
This bra definitely doesn’t not pass the bounce test for running/jumping. There’s simply too much movement going on for me to be comfortable. I would say this is a more of a medium support. The fabric is stiffer and has little stretch so it’s supposed to compress your breasts to not move. Maybe smaller sizes might benefit from trying this bra on. Read more 126 more words
Horrible fit. The cups run small, lots of quad boob going on. The straps don’t adjust long enough, they are at their loosest and feel a little too tight.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
Cups way too small! Straps way too short, they were loosened all the way and felt tight. I was wary of the reviews and ended up ordering both 32 and 34 bands since I read the black color can run tighter. This 34 band is slightly too big for me and I already had to hook it in the tightest hooks. However it does run small for a 34 band and it only stretched to 32.5".
This bra runs extremely tight in the band. I'm a small 28 band normally (ribcage measures around 25.5 inches), and this alleged 30 band is quite snug round my ribs. Definitely size up if possible, and if that's not possible for you then look for a different sports bra. Cup-wise, I suspect that this bra is a cup size too small for me, but since I'm only wearing it for an hour or so each time this doesn't really matter. The bra squishes my boobs all the way down to my chest and provides great support for high-impact activity such as running (it's a life saver when I'm exercising with tender PMS boobs that hurt with each jiggle).
The band is tight on me, which I suppose is good for a compression bra, but given that this is supposed to be running, I do wish I could breathe a little more freely. I don't use it to run; instead, I would prefer to wear it around the house. The straps do dig into the sides of my chest when I put my arms down though it's fine when my arms are to a bit off the side. I guess I'll wear it with an extender for comfort.
It is my go-to bra for sport. I have two bras in this size and the band has streched a lot. I think it will not be supportive enough for larger breasts than mine but for me it is better than wearing a regular bra. It gives me a natural shape and not an uni-boob shape like other sport bra do.
Good quality. Does support well, even if you jump. I did wear it with an extender before I had better-fitting sports bras, and it supports beautifully.
Very old-fashioned look. Gives a bullet shape I do not prefer. However, I must say it is an uplifted, "happy" bullet shape.
This is a very well made bra.
I am keeping it because, to be honest, it gives me joy to have such a beautifully well made bra... even more impressive as it is made without wires.
This bra runs at least one to two sizes small in the band and one to two sizes small in the cup. I fit in some 30FF bras and ended up in a 32G to make it fit. The cups are extremely wide but it's very supportive once you find the right size to fit you. Cups are very tight at the armpit and tall.
It gave me serious OIG effect. My boobs are FOT, if not VFOT, and the horizontal seam on the bottom of the cup gave me a ridiculous silhouette. I also had quite an armpit spillage at the same time. My friend who's sharing same band size with me but a cup size lower than me fitted in it much better so I gave it to her (I don't know whether her boobs are FOT or FOB). I can't determine whether it was its small cup size or FOB preferring cup shape that gave me OIG effect, but I didn't bother myself to try bigger cup size.
Bra does minimize bounce. Great option for a smaller size, but not for a 30GG. Without the underwire it is very comfortable and is very easy to move in, but it does create the uni-boob and smooshes everything together. The top clasp is VERY difficult to reach to close/open.
Didn't order the right size and I spill over in this bra. Support is ok and the cup fit is nice, but it's very difficult to reach the top set of clasps on the back.
The band runs REALLY TIGHT! I could fasten lower part of it, but I could not breath. So I had to use the extender. And I have no problems with the upper set of hooks and eyes. The cups are not true to size, they feel smaller. I usually wear 28ff, and I won't be able to wear this bra on my fuller days. So I'd say this is more like 26G/24GG. The straps are not fully adjustable, but they are ok for me. The bra gives not perfectly round and smooth shape, bit it gives good support. And I like the color combination
This is the perfect size for me right now. Snug, supportive but not so much so that I feel like I am suffocating. It's a very comfortable fabric and feels very good quality. I will buy more of these in the future if I ever work out enough to need more than 2 very supportive bras.
Hi where do you find this color?
