It fits correctly (I guess) but the cut of it is so weird? The cup is so short in the top part. It feels really strange on, like I'm worrying I'm gonna pop out of it. It doesn't really do anything for my shape either. It's cute but I'm just confused by it.
This is a gorgeous bra, and I really wanted it to fit. Unfortunately, it's just too wide. It gives me a very east-west look. I can't quite fill the sides but I'm almost quadding at the top. I am losing weight which has only made the fit issues worse. I'm still looking for a Tutti Rouge bra that fits, I think the brand is incredible!
I have a love/hate relationship with this bra. Pros: beautiful, fits well, soft and comfortable materials, gives a fantastic shape. Cons: Over the course of the day, the bra slips down my chest towards my waist, requiring readjustment, and the fancy-looking heart-shaped strap adjuster does not stay in place and needs to be re-tightened occasionally. There's also two design choices I really don't like: the large bow at the very top of the center gore just causes itching and red spots between my boobs, and the extra-embellished straps call too much attention to my bra straps, and make me not want to wear this bra under a shirt where the straps might be seen. I'm also not crazy about the ruffles underneath the band, they get folded under the band. Overall, I still really like the bra. It's not so easy to find bras that give such a great shape for my full-on-top boobs, and this one does the trick. I can live with readjusting a couple of times during the day. And it's really comfortable.
I picked this one up off a cheap ebay auction and I was so excited about it. Then as soon as I took it out of the package I was disappointed. Only half-adjustable straps! So I waited to get strap savers. With them on it fits much better, no emptiness in the bottom of the cups. There's a little bit of wrinkling in the tulle at the top but whatever. If I could describe this bra I could only call it a "confection"--the design is just very well thought out and makes a cohesive look that's sweet and girly. This is my first Tutti Rouge and I'll definitely be looking out for them in the future.
I got this bra from another user in an exchange and was really impressed with just how pretty it really is. I don't think the pictures do it much justice. But it's such a dainty, sweet and innocent looking bra. The fabric is nice yet sturdy and the overall construction seemed fairly supportive.
This is a very tight 28, and I could barely hook it on the first hook, but that's a good thing for me with my petite, narrow frame. It really didn't seem to have much stretch to it so you should get some decent life out of it. And I LOVE that there are 3 ...rows of hook and eyes! Makes for a much more supportive bra. The cups, however, were way too big for me. But then again, I normally wear a 28G, sometimes FF. SO I really can't say with much certainty if the cups run small (as I've heard) or true to size. I'll have to update after I try a 28G. But in this 28GG I couldn't even fill out the bottom of the cups, lots of wrinkling! And the wires are very wide, they reach almost around to my back! Also, I felt like the straps were maybe just a tad too far apart, for me and my narrow shoulders anyway. But everything else about the bra felt great! The gore wasn't a problem, but I see the potential for it to possibly start digging in had I worn it longer. The straps are fully adjustable and I love the cute "heart-shaped" metal hardware on them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The detailing on this bra is very subtle, yet screaming to be noticed, if that makes any sense. The cute little black and white bows in the center gore contrast the ivory with black polka dots. And the black ribbon weaving through the lace of the cups adds a little something extra.
Overall, I would recommend this bra, though it's hard to say with confidence not having the proper size. But from what I COULD tell, it seemed rather comfy. It's not the most supportive, but the 3 hooks on the back make up for that. And though the cups were too big, I loved the shape this bra gave me - a perfect mix of round yet natural, not pointy at all. Read more 287 more words
On first impression, this bra is awesome! I really took a chance with this once since there was so little information, and I'm glad I did. The cups are a tiny bit misshapen from the envelope, but I'm expecting them to even out with wear. Otherwise the fit is perfect. I also appreciate that the embellishments do not poke through my clothing.
Wires are almost stiffer than @Panache, which is already too stiff. Don't think I'll ever try another @Tutti Rouge. Top of the cup came back towards my chest so quickly that it created quadboob. Very uncomfortable!
I bought this bra from a fellow Bratabase user, because it's completely adorable and I REALLY wanted it to work! Unfortunately, it just isn't a good fit on me. Hopefully it will make someone else very happy!
The bra is completely adorable and in near perfect condition. I only wore it once to try on, and the previous owner took great care of it and probably wore it sparingly, as it didn't fit her either. She made a small alteration to the band to make it tighter-- more like a 34. It could be easily reversed, though!
On me, the cups are just way too shallow. The plunge-y shape also ...makes my boobs fall to the center. If you are narrow, very projected, or super close set, I'd probably avoid this one (if you can resist, I obviously couldn't. That ruffle though!) If, on the other hand, you have shallow, wide boobs, this might be great for you.
Other than that, the band is super comfortable, and the satin fabric is really nice. I didn't find the lace detailing to be irritating at all. Be aware that the straps only adjust halfway-- it wasn't a problem for me, but it might be for you.
If it'll fit you, it's a great little bra and one of the prettiest I've owned!
The gorgeous satin fabric is robin's egg blue with a blue, purple, and pink morning glory(?) floral print. The petite lace trim is very nice and not itchy. There is a pink satin bow at the center gore. The band fits true to size. The cups fit true to size and are a good shape, not too wide or too narrow.

I'm enjoying this bra so far. It's gorgeous. Much prettier in person than I expected. The wires are too wide and the shape it gives is quite minimized, which I'm not crazy about. It's comfortable though, and if I get around to taking the black ribbon out (it has a slight defect where it sticks up), then I think it'll work well as a neutral bra.
I have this in the AW14 red and the SS14 'powder blue' colorway. The red is a deep oxblood red color, and the powder blue is really more minty green than anything. They're both gorgeous, and look better in person than photos. While the wire width of these are ridiculous and the cups are insanely shallow, I do still love this bra. The 34 band is perfect for me, as I am in between a 32 and 34. I'd definitely advise to size up in both band and cup. While I can't nearly fill the bottom of the cup because of its shallowness, I still get good uplift--though ...it is very minimizing. I wouldn't call this a t-shirt bra, but it's good for clothes that look best with a minimized shape (think: button-up blouses). I've found that the more recent seasons (from SS14 and on) have a much, much better fit than previous seasons. The cup is slightly more deep in current seasons, which keeps my boobs better in place. The biggest issue for is the straps, as they can rub my arms by the end of the day. The material of the bra is lush and super soft, so it isn't really that bad but I do notice it. This bra is so pretty. I thought it would fit but it's one of my worst fitting bras. Straps are too wide, cups are too wide and shallow on the bottom, and the cups are too far apart. I really thought this beautiful bra would fit me. It's Lavendar and polka dotted.
This is a gorgeous bra, but it wasn't *quite* right for me. I could likely get away with it one cup smaller. I can already see it gives a perfectly round shape, but I can't fill the cups all the way, so there's slight wrinkling in my larger breast, and quite a bit of wrinkling in the smaller. Additionally, the wire is too wide for me, but not as bad as the multiple Liliana bras I own. I'm guessing the trick for TR is to size up in their padded styles (I fit a 34H in both the Liliana and Betty), but go with your normal size in their unpadded. I don't have enough experience with the brand to know for sure. I can attest that the Nichole, at least, does not have as insanely wide wires as the Liliana and it allows for much more projection.
I couldn't resist the Simply Be exclusive color of my favorite bra, but it started at a 34 band, so I got the sister size. Unfortunately, even though a Tutti Rouge Liliana 32 band runs like a normal 30, the 34 runs like a 34. So there is a void in the middle with no true 32 band, and this bra has a band two sizes too big. With a bra that minimizes this much, the band tension really changes the cup shape a lot, so I didn't like it as much as my everyday Lilianas.
This bra is one of the cutest ones from Tutti Rouge's first collection, but I was rightfully wary of it. Due to the seamed plunge cut, it is REALLY pointy. It looks more pointy on me because I'm full on top, but it will look pointy on pretty much everyone. A huge disappointment to me.
I now wish I had gotten this in a 30HH. Unlike every other Tutti Rouge bra I've tried, this one has a band that runs pretty standard (instead of small) and the same goes for the cups. I would love to try this bra in a 30HH, to see how much better it could be. Unfortunately I don't see them for sale in that size anymore as I waited too long to have this realization. The biggest problem with this bra though is that the straps barely adjust at all--only a short part of the strap in the back connects to the adjustor. So it is hard to tell if the fit would get less wrinkly if I could hoist the straps up, but I guess it doesn't matter since the band is definitely too big. So the review on my blog is a little outdated for this bra.
Betty is a beautiful bra! When I first got her, the band was so tight I could barely fasten it. When I did get her fastened, the cups were distorted from the band being too tight, causing the wires to be too wide and the cups to be too shallow, giving me space at the bottom and sides of the cup, and the slightest bit of quadboob at the top. The gore was also floating. I am a true 28, and it was very, very tight.
I got an extender and starting wearing her with the extender. With an extender, the band is much more comfortable, the cups ...sit much better (I still get a little bit of space at the bottom and sometimes a tiny bit of quadding), and she's overall much more comfortable. The gore still does not lay completely flat, but it's not uncomfortable at all. The problem is that I am very close set and have a lot of center fullness, so even though Betty has a narrow gore, she doesn't have enough projection near the gore.
The fabric is soft and the lace is not scratchy at all. The shape is very round. Under clothes, it's a very minimised look. Without clothes, I think Betty looks gorgeous on me. She makes me feel very confident about my boobs. Bratabase marks her as not fitting, but I think she fits pretty good-with an extender. She's one of my favorite bras.
Edit: I've bent the wires to make them narrower, which also gives more depth in the cup. The fit is significantly better! They are surprisingly easy to bend, but they bend back a bit when I put it on. I'm still using the extender, which is why the straps seem too wide. Using a ribbon to tie it racerback helps and it also gives me more space in the cups. Read more 204 more words
