I'm still on the hunt for the perfect bra- I have a few non padded bras and I absolutely love how they feel. I never thought they could be so supportive, and they're great for summer! The problem is that I dislike the shape they give me. So far I have a few Panache bras, and one Freya. Both are ... full cup styles, and give me a super pointy 70s look. I have one Cleo balconnet that gives amazing inward/upward lift, but I don't fill out the top lace and end up with a bit of uniboob.
My breasts are on the pointy side, not exactly perky, and they point somewhat out to the sides when left to their own devices. My Cleo Maddie (while on the large side) creates EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but I would love to find a bra that's not lined or padded.
I've been looking at some side support bras- are there other bras or shapes that are good for creating some lift? I'm not looking for cleavage even- just a round and up front shape!

I have the same issue. And I think I read that the Cleo bras are best for giving a rounded shape and the Freyas are the worst because they tend to give off a point shape.
I have two panache bras and... One is a molded seamed bra, which makes no sense to me. It gives a pointed shape (because of the seams). And the other panache bra is the Loretta. I had it on 30dd (returned) and 30d, and both gave off a saggy look, even though the 30d is too small.
Well, I haven't found a Panache bra yet that doesn't make my boobs sit low on my chest/remain pointier in shape than I prefer, so you're not alone there. :) If you like the style of the Maddie, you may want to try seamed half cup shapes. Freya Marvel is an unlined half cup with side support, and gives a lot of people (me included) a lifted, round shape--though it is wider and shallower. Bras with vertical seams in general are good for this.
Don't know which Cleo you've tried, but Lucy and Marcie are well known for creating tons of lift. Lucy may be better if you often have gaping in tops of cups.
Ewa Michalak's HM, SM, and BM are all unlined and that brand is famous for lift/shape, though I havent tried them personally yet.
