Looking For An Ewa CH Biszkopty and Ewa's Having a Sale

So I had been thinking about trying the CH Biszkopty in a 38GG and for some reason it had been on my mind all day and I couldn't stop thinking about it.Ewa's fb page posted about a sale and so I went to see what items were on sale and noticed the CH was almost all sold out in most ... sizes even though the day before it said "infinite number".
Grrr.I guess they ran out of fabric and updated the site.I'll try emailing them anyways.Do they do this often?lol
But the good news is that some of their bras are on sale..limited amount of sizes,of course,but if you go to all bras and hit "price ascending" you'll see it.

Braologie type bra for cheap: 32-40 B-DD (UK)

So, I bought this braologie-type bra off of ebay. It only comes in sizes 32-40 B-DD (UK). I wear a 28FF/30F and figured that it would only be a cup off and since it has 5 hooks, it would still possibly support me, so it could possibly fit.

Well, it didn't. But, the quality of the bra is amazing for ... $7.42 and free shipping. The band has more than sufficient support for my 27 in ribcage. The cups do seem more than a cup off, so I would guess that it runs about a cup small. But it's beautiful (I got black) and soft and comfortable. And the straps are moveable, so you can do halter and criss-cross. And they're fully adjustable! I'll add it to bratabase later for the measurements.

So, if you're in their limited size range, I definitely recommend the bra. And even if you're a 28-30 band, you might be able to find support in this. Just consider going down a cup size unless you're really shallow.

And the shipping was really fast! less than 2 weeks from China!

Made in Preston's first bra is now out for sale And oh, the knickers too of course. We don't know a lot about this brand yet (whether they typically have relatively narrow/wide/average underwires, high/low wires and etc.) but I just wanted to put it out there for those who might not know about Made in Preston. - Ooh- that's quite nice - not really what I was expecting but still nice. It's obvious the they're aiming at a younger market than the average 'full bust' (oh how I hate that word) brand, which is really refreshing.

Elomi is on zulily!! They are best known for having fullerbust sizes with a larger band size. Their sizes run 32DD-40 G in most of the basques, although there are a few randoms. The bras run 32 FF, 34 DD-HH, 36 DD-JJ, 38 E-JJ, 40 D-JJ, 42 D-JJ, 44 D-GG, 46 D-H, and 48 D-E Uk sizes with a few ... random sizes they don't have in this sale. Their panties also go up to a 3x. Just wondering if anyone has seen/tried this bra in person?
Is the strap really more center pull in location?

I only noticed it because on Figleaves, the same model is in the Panache Andorra Full Cup (5675) and the cup construction looks different. (Link: http://www.figleaves.com/us/set_product.asp?product=Panache-Andorra-Full-Cup-Bra-Set&product_id=PA-5675&colour=Reds)

Is this a new model? (tag doesn't work right now and ... the model number is higher than Andorra)
Has Panache listened to its customers and created a bra with straps that are more close-set?
It's also cheaper (!) than Andorra and is listed at $47 at Figleaves.

Should I be doing a happy dance?

(ETA The strap looks like some of the "helper strap" constructions by bratabasers whose names escape me right now. Holy...!)

- It depends a lot on shape. I think the need for center-pull straps most common in women with narrow breasts with a lot of forward projection. If you have wide breasts, wide-set straps are going to give you good support because they're close to your breast's center of gravity. If you have narrow breasts, wide-straps may end up over an area where you have little or no breast tissue and no matter how much you tighten them, you won't get any lift. As for this bra, I still think the strap is going to be positioned poorly for the narrowest among us. Even with the wide anchor, I think it wouldn't give enough support for the inner quadrants for breasts like mine. It may be awesome for some women though, so I'd wait for some feedback from those who've tried it.

Today on zulily there are 3 bra brands. #1 Amoralia is for maternity/soft cup/non-wired/nursing bras(and a few camis) . The brand is quite similar to hot milk and runs 32B-38G(B,C,D,DD,E,F,G and a random 40 B thrown in there), and it's $25-$40. #2 Mia by Amoena is like if panache and natori had a baby. The bras are sexy and ... many are very practical. The sizes are in US sizes- 32-40 C-J, 42-46 C-I, 48 C-DD (C,D,DD,DDD,G,H,I,J = C,D,DD,E,F,FF, G,GG). The prices are $23-$26. The last brand, #3, is Lunaire, their bras are simple and feminine with a lot of lace. They carry 30 D&E, 32- 40 B-F, 42 C-DD, 44 D&DD, and 46DD (B,C,D,DD,DDD,DDDD,E, F). Sep 07, 2013 I'm an Esty Lingerie Design Competition Finalist!

On a whim, I decided to enter the Esty Lingerie Design Competion. After all, who wouldn't want free stuff and the chance to have their design manufactured? I was very surprised and pleased to be chosen as a finalist. There are 16 finalists in total featured on Esty Lingerie's Facebook Page. Below is my entry. Here's the text that goes with my entry:
I was inspired by dandelions. They are ubiquitous and sometimes considered a nuisance, but they have their own kind of beauty. As a child, I loved picking dandelions and blowing the seeds into the wind. I would occasionally kick the stems of dandelions and be mesmerized by the scattering seeds. In the language of flowers, the dandelion symbolizes happiness. My design is fun and youthful, just like the dandelion. Little bows and scalloped edges are subtle and feminine details. The sheer lilac mesh of the bra and panties is feminine and flirty. The rich, deep purple satin trim and bows add a touch of luxury. The whimsical, embroidered dandelions are highlight of the pieces. The seamed bra provides uplift and support, so this set is functional, pretty and great for everyday wear or special occasions.

I love my husband :D

So I've tried explaining the new sizes I can wear and like most men it went in one ear out the other. Well he comes home from work yesterday and was telling me he was listening to Howard Stern and they sent the secretary to some nice bra store in NYC to get properly fitted. He said she was this ... weird size like a 30D or DD. I started laughing at him which he didn't find very funny. I said if you listened to me a few weeks ago I told you I am around a 30DD. He goes but I thought you wore a 32C. I said yeah but its not fitting right anymore and I need a different size now. He said the bras were expensive like $60 each. I told him yep I have one on eBay that I want and its $50

- pumkinswife my fiancé is exactly the opposite- he takes an interest in what I have to say about bra fitting and stuff- probably coz I explained what a massive difference being properly fitted has made to my self image and comfort and posture- tho he did say the other day 'your just obsessed with bras' - problem was I couldn't really deny it... :)
- Someone suggested that people only "take in" things that confirm their own beliefs. Maybe 30DD was so odd to the husband that he couldn´t digest the information before he got it from several places and from people that were not immidiate family? We all know how it is when someone close to us tries to tell us things that we don´t really believe in :)

I had bought a bra in my *real* size of 34 E/F on ebay when I realized..............I DID NOT TYPE MY ADDRESS IN CORRECTLY ! I've been waiting for a good week ! I shot the sender an email hopefully it can still get here before the post office ends up shipping it back!

- I must say I get frustrated when people complain about the height of wings and that cups are shallow, because shallow cups are:
  
  1. the only bras that are supportive enough without straps (strapless bras are shallow with wide wires because of this).
  2. The only bras that are supportive enough in higher cup sizes
  3. Shallow/wide rooted girls needs bras too.
  
  I don't now seem to need neither tall wings neither shallow bras (I thought I did but I clearly don't) So I probably won't get this bra. But I would be really frustrated if they changed the cut of this bra as well as Panache and CK has already done. Soon we all have tons of options and no variation in fit what so ever. Just because everyone thinks they should be entitled to wear every single bra.

When you finally found a bra that works for you and then...

...they discontinue it!
I have been waiting for the new Sculptresse Bellise Balconnet Bra (6891) to come out, since the previous version of this bra is one of my best fitting bras and I love the look of it (Purple and polka dots!).
Now I wrote an E-Mail to Panache asking what happened to it. It was due to ... come out in August.

Response I got:
"Dear Ms ---,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately it has been decided that Bellise in purple/pink (white spots) will not be produced.

All the other Scuptresse styles in the autumn/winter catalogue will be available as planned.

I apologise for the inconvenience.

Wow thanks Panache! I finally thought I found a bra that fits and wanted to buy it in another colorway to and they discontinue it. I might then get a Elomi Caitlyn Underwire Side Support (8030) in purple instead. Hm.

- drownedsalad It's the padded half cup, which usually has a range of 30D - 38G, without going above G. Occasionally they make a padded half cup in a 28 band. I was merely announcing that they expanded the range of the Patsy Half Cup. It's the half cup.

- Welcome to the USA! If you're looking for an awesome bra boutique there's one in Cinci called Knickers of Hyde Park that's been around for 13 years and the staff is really knowledgeable. I bought one there this weekend. They carry Freya and I bought a Deco there this weekend.
