Now that I'm finally in the range of the Antoinette, I want so badly. It's a lovely color and a lovely design.

Oh, the Serenity looks like great bridal wear!
Don't be sorry, I love to see these!
Hnng, I love to see bra-cuts that are a little less run-of-the-mill and the Antoinette looks pretty amazing. But it must be a pretty tricky fit.
I'm pretty sick of pinks and reds, but I would totally get the Celene if I had the chance.

It's an interesting collection. Even if the blogger isn't taken to it, I'm in love with the Jungle Fever. I always promise to get myself certain bras than never do it. I hope this doesn't happen with that one because it's gorgeous.

Wow, the cobalt Deco is so pretty. Also loving Thimble Cottage, Ooh La La and Jungle Fever!
CocoViolet I find that it reminds me personally of a past colorway. I would kill for an interesting colorway of the Deco. Or like a non-repeating design. Like orange quilt or something ridiculous.

I just got Panache Swimwear Holly Bandeau Bikini (SW0623) and I love it! It fits really well and looks great. I went up 1 cup size more than I usually go and I'm really glad I did because I think the FF would've been a bit too tight. Going to upload pictures in a sec.

I just got one of their sports bras earlier this week, and since no others have been entered into Bratabase yet, I thought I'd post a link in case not many people have heard about this bra. The sizes are based on your actual ribcage and bust measurement, not your bra size, so there are many more options available ... compared to most other brands.
They seem to be a great option for just about anyone, but ESPECIALLY those of you who are:
1) Sized out of most other sports bras available (like me!)
2) Very high on chest
3) Need short, wide straps
4) Live in North America and don't want to wait weeks for a bra to arrive from overseas -- they're made in the USA!
I have added my pics and measurements (and you can't really compare the measurements to any other bra), for example, I was busting out of my 34HH - Shock Absorber » Max Sports Bra (B4490) (the pics shown are from when I first got it -- the quadboob is even worse now, so I stopped wearing it and sold it), but the 4Z - Lynx Sportswear » Zoom Sports Bra (LSBZ) fits much better and even has a smaller bust perimeter measurement!
I don't know if/when I'll get a chance to write a proper review, but I just want everyone to be aware of this bra as another option out there.

Is this a compression sports bra?
Yes.
Here's how they describe how the bra works from their website: The Lynx Sports Bra uses revolutionary patent pending technology to support your breasts from the sides of the bra, not the band or shoulder straps, providing unparalleled comfort and support.

They sent me an email that their "Shop bras by size" is ending in a day and I just thought for fun I'd open the email and see. I had already looked around back in June (when I first started this new bra adventure 32-34B > 30E/F) but didn't see much beyond "standard" sizing. So I open the email and ... laughed at the picture headline "One size does not fit all." No, no it doesn't.
Their 30 bands only go A-DD, the 32-36 bands go A-G,38-40 bands go B-G, and 42 band go C-G. I only looked for 32 DD-DDD there were only 2 DDD options. The 32 DD there were maybe 4 or 5, 2 Chantelle (I cracked up a one of the @Chantelle pictures modeling some really bad bottom of the cup wrinkling. Happens to me too in Chantelles but ugh pictures like that make it hard for me to want to even bother trying the bra), and a couple @Betsy Johnson bras and an @Ongossamer.
Sigh, I'd need a clip for those 32's. I'm happy with the bras I've found and so glad I hung on to this Cleo Marcie that was too small last month (30F > 30E) but fits like a dream now! I just wish I could shop my actual sizes in more shops/retailers.
If you somehow actually fit properly in those magical A-C or DD sizes though have at it! I would.

Wow, this looks so professional! It was pretty close for me. I didn't have a laying down measurement, so I fudged that one. It gave me a 36J, and I usually wear 34 bands, the tighter ( more true to size?) ones with an extender, so it might be nice to also have a " prefer a tighter band?" option. It's also a cup up from my normal target size, but my cups are pretty full these days and tend to be good fits in ones that run bigger, so seems fair enough.
Dead on for my Fantasie size.

I'm sure some of you already know about "The Butterfly Collection", but for those who don't, it might be worth checking out. The Butterfly Collection store is in Canada. But they sell DD+ cup bras online as well. They have brands like, Cleo, Curvy Kate, Panache, Freya, Wacoal and more. And shipping is free in the US and Canada.!
... They also have a really informative blog. Some of the blog posts I've read are "How cup size affects bra fit", "3 things to know about bra straps", "How wire width and cup shape affect your bra's fit" and"5 things to look for in a bra band"
Another neat feature they have is "Skype, at home bra fittings". You can be professionally fitted via Skype by Clare, who I'd say is a bra fit expert. I read reviews of the Skype fittings that said Clare is very nice and extremely knowlegable and helpfull. And I almost forgot, it's free and there is no obligation to buy anything.

Can you tell how jazzed I am that Ritzy (that smoking pinstripe halfcup and babydoll) are D-J in the whole range of 28-38, as is Carmen, that luscious longline? Because I don't think you can!

I've never heard of this site before, but I just randomly came across it and thought wow.. those are some cheap brand name bras! But I bet shipping is from the US or UK so it will be expensive to Canada and I'd have to worry about duty.....
And then I checked, $9 shipping? Along with their great sale prices!! ... AAAAA!!
I saw a Curvy Kate Tempt me for $14 and a Change bra for $9... for a Change bra, $18 including shipping is cheap! It's like what you'd get at their 50%-70% off sales in store. Also, some are even cheaper than you could find on eBay!! Just look at all those brands they stock!!
I've only checked out those two bras so far, but I was so excited I came here to post it right away!!!
EDIT: Okay so I just looked around more, and most of the stuff is pretty expensive. You can find a great deal on their sale items (70-80% off). It looked like they had a lot of sizes in stock but you actually have to click through the sizes and most are out of stock, I guess that's why it's so cheap.
So in the end not that great and I got excited too soon.. but I think it could be pretty nice for any Canadians that can manage to find their size in certain styles! (They shipped to U.S too but it's $15, and I think that's it.)

Oh man. I was SO hopeful when I noticed this was in my town. But nope, my size is not available. They don't even carry the brands that fit me :S
Lol I'm so sorry! :( I got my hopes up too high as well
I received my bra bag this week and it is very nice!
I ordered it from ebay.co.uk. It is a Buxom bra bag, which means that it is the bigger of two variations.
My bra sizes are 28F-28FF-30E-30F ´s so the smaller brag would probably have been enough for most of my bras, but I was a little worried that my 28FF ... Panache sport bras would need the bigger case. And I think I was right.
The Brag itself if some sort of plastic I think, covered with fabric. It closes with 2 snap fasteners. I think I will be verry happy travelling with my moulded bras in the Brag

Could you please post some pictures of your bras inside the brag? I'm roughly the same size as you (28FF/28G) and I'm really curious how much extra space there is when the bras are placed inside. I just wanna know if it looks ridiculous or not because our sizes are in between the "normal" brag and the buxom brag.
Did you pay the price they charge on their website? $56? If not, can you give me the link?? Im in the US and the only ones on ebay appear to be knock offs of the Brag bag and I need the buxom but I'd like to find a deal!

I originally planned to post on the original post here: [ http://ewamichalak.blogspot.ca/2013/06/klient-ma-zawsze-racje.html ] but blogger is acting weird on me for some reason and wouldn't let me.
My thoughts on Strapgate: 1) HUGE misunderstanding between Polish and English methods, and 2) Ewa Michalak is being extremely self-righteous and immature/ignorant about the situation.
She COMPLETELY disregards the English method of measuring ... and instead puts the model in a size based on her assumption of why we are fitting wrong: too small band, too big cup. To illustrate this she uses the size 70KK (32KK) on the model.
WHY this is COMPLETELY ignorant: we use the English method, she just pulled that bra size out of complete ignorance. Since her model measures 92 cm tight (36 inches)... she would be in a 36 band according to our methods. She went 2 band sizes too small and completely disregarded our fit method.
For demonstration purposes I will be using 117 (46 inches) as the reference bust measurement since the model got fitted to 90F according to the size chart on her website. In basic English methods, an underbust of 36 and a bust measurement of 46 would put her in 36GG, or 80GG. The sister size of 36GG in a 32/70 band would be... 32HH/70HH, which meant she sized up two cups too big. Thus why the wires were SO wide in her post.
I [sort of] understand why she put her in 70KK though... because according to her size chart: [ http://oi43.tinypic.com/309hta0.jpg ] WHY'D SHE ADD A CUP SIZE?! I smell propaganda O_O.
This is completely irrelevant to the points I've made above, but another issue is that she doesn't grade her bras properly/proportionately. It makes sense to make cups narrower/deeper as the band shrinks, which also means moving strap position.
I'm done with EM. I love my bras from them, but even if they go back to manufacturing sub-65 bands, my money will not go to them anymore. At first I was neutral about the situation, but :/ ... this really added the cherry on top of the sh*t pile. I do think that there was some language barrier in between all of this mess and how different countries have a different stance on customer service, but she must've thought that we were all too stupid or something. Seeing her make sarcastic expressions in those pictures really showed how self-righteous she is. I will be spending my money on Comexim and Avocado now. Bye forever!

It is taking ALL my willpower to stop myself from replying to her photo story with my own. Photos with a measuring tape, wearing her bras, riding up, marking spots on my skin to prove wires aren't getting distorted, strap placement, quadboobing, etc
If I had any hope that she was persuadable, I would do it. However, the last time a bunch of us peppered her with pictures, she threw a hissy fit and discontinued (temporarily?) 50/55/60 bands - I don't want to make things even worse for gals in sizes rarer than mine by pissing her off more.
I'm really trying to wrap my head around the 'wrapping the bowls' (that's what it gets translated as by google) thing which has been discussed by Polish commenters.
As far as I can tell, a band has a certain stretched length. You can only pull it so far. You can perhaps pull it a certain distance without distorting the wires, and a little further if you bend the wires, but it's only going to go thus far and no further. In theory at least, a bra which is a 30D and one which is a 30K will have roughly the same circumference. Whilst the relationship between cups and band is a little different, I don't think that you could magically make a 30K bra fit on a 36D. The bras just don't stretch that far. I also would think that if I put the 30K bra on someone who wears a 30D, that the circumference of the band would be roughly correct, even though it wouldn't be comfortable to wear.
I'm just a bit puzzled as to how this is a fit issue. I don't really feel like the photo explanation in the blog post explains it very well because it's so extreme. It's not that I disbelieve the issue, it's merely that I'm struggling to visualise it.
I really wish that there was better scaling from companies. Bras just plain don't work right in my size range. They clearly haven't though about how they would work on tiny frames with very large cups.

After reading the whole discussion on Ewa's FB, I sent them an email. After some back-and-forth with Dominik *sigh* I got a reply from Ewa. I'm done now, no more EM bras for me.
I've copied the whole conversation here. Read it and weep...

Petalmoon:
Hello,
I am hoping Ewa can give her opinion about the fit of my bras too, regarding strapgate.
My ... measurements: 82cm underbust, 122cm bust.
I first ordered myself a 75K PL Black: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhmic/ with several fit issues. I felt I probably needed a 70 band because all my owned 75 bands were riding up. This bra was no exception, so because it was also too small in the cups (see fit request on Bratabase here: http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dhmic/)
So I swapped it for a 70L PL Black: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhrps/ (fit help here: http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dhrps/)
Still somewhat too small, so I purchased 70LL PL Black (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhttq/) and 70M PL Stalowka (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhttv/).
Even though these bands are tight on me, they STILL ride up during the day: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4he/adventures/1127/
Comparison pictures of me in 34K Panache Jasmine: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhs3x/
Just in case Ewa's interested in trial&error alterations, here's 2 bratabase posts on what I've tried to do with mine: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4he/adventures/860/ and http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4he/adventures/884/
I've also done a post there on where the exact painful spot is: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4he/adventures/835/
....hope that's not information overload. Hope Ewa can make some sense from it. Hope she can recommend things for me
love, petalmoon

Petalmoon:
Hi,
Short summary of my email:
I've bought several PL bras, none of which fits me properly I think. So now with strapgate going on, I'd like to hear Ewa's view on how those bras fit me.
Included links to pictures&reviews of those bras (first part email).
Second part email (from "Comparison pictures ..." onwards) can be ignored. Is pictures and story of alterations I've done to try and make the bras fit more comfortably.
Is that simple enough?
xx petalmoon

Dominik:
Hi,
Am I right that You want to know do You need bigger/smaller/other size or just revive of Your pictures ?
Greet Dominik Michalak

Petalmoon:
Hello,
I want to know: what size do I need?
Bigger/smaller/other size yes.
Please use the pictures to decide this.
Thanks!
Greetings, petalmoon

Ewa:
I think it would be best if you stay at the brand Panache
Best Regards

Could someone please explain what "Strapgate" is all about and why they won't make bands below 65 anymore?

A lot of women have had issues with EM bras - namely that the straps are too wide-set and the cups are too tall at the underarm, leading to a ridiculous amount of rubbing, cutting in, and not being able to tighten the straps enough.
A few bloggers and customers mentioned this problem, and EM posted on their English facebook page, asking if the problem was common. Post here: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=500551003348394&id=393975224005973
They received feedback from many, many women, the majority of whom said they had issues with the strap placement. Instead of listening to the invited feedback, they (very rudely) refused to hear it, and told every person who commented that they were wearing the wrong size, and that the problems were due to too-tight bands. They instructed everyone to use the EM calculator, which only sort of works if you pull the tape so tight you'll slice yourself in half (which, apparently, is how tight it should be).
They seem to have taken all of the comments as a personal attack, rather than feedback that they asked for. It seems they've now decided that since people have brought up issues in these sizes, they might as well not make small band sizes anymore. Hopefully it isn't just out of pettiness, and they're actually taking the time to review the strap placement, but at the moment I don't have my hopes up. For the foreseeable future, there are no sub-65 bands, except (I think) in the 3D and 3DM bras.
Ewa Michalak had such a good thing going for them and so many loyal customers. It's completely baffling why they would behave in such a manner. It seems as if they want less business, not more.
I really can't think of any reason to ask for feedback and then start attacking customers. I would've been better if they HADN'T asked.
I won't be buying anything from them, that's for sure.

Last time I checked, Herroom was adding 4 inches to the underbust to get the bandsize.
Imagine my surprise when I saw this video

I'm pretty sure it's New, as I went there recenlty and it was adding inches.
I noticed that too! I hadn't watched the video until recently and I was rather impressed because it agreed with what works for me (which is what I learned here), haha! In general, I find the sizing advice on HerRoom to be valuable.

Weee, yellow babydoll! <3 From Cleo I only have one failed experience with a too-small and overly scratchy Lucy, but maybe I'll give these bright colours another try :)
Yes, I love the bright colors! I like that they are releasing the Marcie as a standalone in the yellow colorway too.
