I'm pretty sure it's New, as I went there recenlty and it was adding inches.
I noticed that too! I hadn't watched the video until recently and I was rather impressed because it agreed with what works for me (which is what I learned here), haha! In general, I find the sizing advice on HerRoom to be valuable.
A Bra bag! At first I thought that it is a bra shaped handbag Ladies, does any one of you have this?? I´m very interested. I travelled recently and was kind of confused about how I should pack my moulded bras. I ended up packing them ...into a cardboard box and hoped it would not be smashed in the (soft) case. The box endured but it takes a lot of room in the case I think this brag could be a good solution to this! How do you guys pack moulded bras when you travel?
What I do is stack the moulded bras inside each other, and then fill the cups with socks/underwear/other soft things which don't matter if they get a bit crushed. I feel as though this is the most space efficient way to pack moulded bras.
A lot of the 'storage solutions' that I've seen just don't cut it when your moulded bra cups are bigger than your face.
^That sounds handy. That´s what I try to do as well when I go to yoga. Afterwards I try to stuff the cups with my work out top and pants, but it doesn´t really work... Maybe I´d have to carry extra socks with me so I could use them? :P
Thought that I would share with all you lovely Bratabase users that Fussy Busty is getting ready to celebrate our 1 year Blog Anniversary. amy__rebecca and I are so excited to offer up some great giveaways.
Caveat for this post: I've not actually been to these stores so I don't know what the actual service/selection is like.
For those looking for a 30 and under band in the DC area... I emailed Bloomers, which has a store in Old Town Alexandria, Georgetown, and Shirlington, since I saw that they carried Parfait by Afffinitas and asked if they ...had them in 30 bands and if they would be offering 28 bands. They carry them in 30 bands and said they would consider carrying them in 28 bands if they came out. I sent them the link to Parfait's announcement so fingers crossed that there might be somewhere in the area to buy 28 bands! The Full Cup used to carry them but they left Old Town a while ago. There's 3 of them on ebay UK right now for reasonable prices
I'm not selling them personally just stumbled across them, it's a good way for someone to dodge Dominik and the custom order fees. But someone should really buy them before Noob does
So fucking excited! You have no idea how much I've gazed longingly at my girlfriend's Parfait By Affinitas Charlotte (6901) . Red beauty, you wiiiiiiiiill be mine!
I've seen it for quite a while, but oddly enough, no one's reviewed it or even added it to Bratabase? Freya is one of the most famous brands here, I thought everyone would jump at the chance when it hit Figleaves Surely, someone here must've tried it but just not added it?
I have the red one, and I need to add it to Bratabase. Funny I forgot to. When I return from my business trip, I'll do that. Thanks for the reminder! I think you're about my size, so I'm glad there'll be someone reading my review.
Oh, but I meant the new one :) The new one is lined (if I remember correctly) and molded. It looks almost the same as the previous Freya Active underwired from afar but the molding is supposed to banish that pointy shape many women get in the previous model. With that said... I'm really looking forward to your review of the older version! :) Please upload photos as well if you're comfortable doing that! x)
Ooh- new EM style. It's red and unpadded. However, it looks like they're giving us the short end of the stick again, as I'm not seeing the custom sizes option on this cut, so I think it may be like the Ptys. There's the partner 3DM, and it does seem to have the custom sizes listed. If you have small ...boobs, you can get this cut, but apparently it's not going to be for us who are over a 70J or sister sizes.
I'm totally developing this love-hate relationship with Ewa Michalak at the moment. The bras are lovely, but the sizing is so inconsistent, and the customer service can be infuriating. I suppose it stops me wasting another $70 on something I'll have to pull all of the top volume out of. Read more 74 more words
I can't decide whether to snatch this up in 70J now, which will be too large in the band, or see if they'll make me the 65JJ sister size and risk all of the fabric being used up. Or whether I should even try, since the SM Bezyk didn't really give me a great shape.
I got a 32J into my basket immediately :O Now I just have to decide whether to get it or not lol.
My boobs have grown a ton in two months! I started out looking at 40Ds when I truly measured myself, and now I'm thinking I need a 38DDD. Maybe something even larger; we'll see. FullerFigureFullerBust , thanks for all the info and connection to other bloggers. My friends are now being remeasured by me. I'm everyone's boob girl now....
The Dotty Spot is back under the name of Laurel by the way, anyone who missed that bra. I did, and I never even got to try it. The great pointy shape appealed to me a personal level.
By the way, you know you can get updated on new Bravissimo models by "follow" the Bravissimo brand here. :) Then they pop up in your actiivty feed at the front page.
Many new styles plus the much-anticipated red Panache Jasmine (6951) finally in store. Just for fun, Bravissimo offers you 5 bras for free, which one would you get? And why?
Another note: does anyone know how to order from Bravissimo without credit card? I mean is there a way around it? (paypal?)
Ok here's my ...list: 1. Panache Jasmine (prefer the red to SS13 navy version) 2. Panache Andorra (love that jade green <3) 3. Bravissimo Sweet Bon Bon (half cup ! and it's just too cute) 4. Tutti Rouge Liliana (I mean it's free and I'm curious about it like crazy ) 5. Panache Elsa in Watermelon (I'm a Panache girl and I like the color )
Now I have to admit that only Jasmine and Elsa come in my size. Since the bras are free I wouldn't mind to buy a too big band + cup volume I need and alter the bands down. If I had to make a list of bras that I find cute, I could have listed many more Read more 133 more words
Yeah, sure, an AA or A cup will do fine without a bra. My own extensive experience with secondary school gym class and no sports bra (because I couldn't afford it) taught me why I need a sports bra.
Also, I'm pretty sure a simple trip to Africa would have been cheaper than this study. And the conclusion would have been far different!
ProperlyFitted Then don't read it. It was the first time I read it. And actually, please explain to me why it is offensive to you that I have noticed, growing up in Africa where many women did not wear bras at that time, that not wearing bras made boobs at least look saggier under clothes? I don't think there's much difference between the breasts at age 65 to be honest. I wasn't even talking about race or tribal ethnicity. If I was, I would have specified.
Please explain to me why simply using the word 'Africa' suddenly turns it into offence? I'm responsible for what I said, not for anyone's associations with the word 'Africa'.
For the record: I am South-African. I am white African, and I face prejudice over that more often than you think. When I talk about Africa, I talk about home.
Holy cow,a lot of that looks like a totally different brand! I feel like certain bras just instantly looked polish, like brav, or freya to me, not very in theme with their stuff so far. But man, GIMME that ludicrously elaborate longline and menswear looking halfcup and babydoll. I don't even usually ever like babydolls! So desperate to know size ranges on this stuff.
Loving the longline! Plus it has a matching suspender belt which is always good!
This is a company made by Nikki from The Big Bra Bar and 2wenty8 . She closed the Big Bra Bar (importing Ewa Michalak ) did not work for them, I don't know what happened with the bra brand, so she's doing this now.
I really hope it will work, it seems there has been a delay in opening.
Thanks to CurvyWordys review of the Curvy Kate Portia (CK4001) I became aware that Curvy Kate has changed the cut of their unpadded balconettes. I always had issues with CK wires being to wide (even for me, who loves Panache wires) and the cups were always to shallow. I know this had been a common ...issue with Curvy Kate bras for many of us. So I was glad to hear that they improved their bras. They seem to listen to their customers. I sent an E-mail to Curvy Kate's customer service (which is excellent by the way – fast answer – very helpful and polite) because I wanted to ask on which bras they have already changed the fit. I thought I share the information I got:
All bras from SS13 new collection have an improved fit. The wires are narrower and the cup has got a bit more room.
Bras of Spring Summer 2013 collection with improved fit: Gia Seafoam Portia seafoam/pink Lottie raspberry Princess orchid/purple Romance charcoal/seafoam
Most of the continuity ranges should follow in time (Gia Black, Gia White)
Thanks for this info. I had seen Curvy Wordy blog stating the seafoam Portia had improved fit.. But good to hear which others also do. Makes me excited to think think they may work better!
