About to pull the trigger on a couple sizes of the Nicol, and trying to decide between the two styles. Can anyone fill me in on the difference? Does the push up just come with cookies? Or is it constructed in a slightly different way?

I really like Comexim's new 'dandelion' bra, the Rosettes, but I was confused about how they describe it as a Full Cup. Didn't look like that in the pix...Aisha at Zathiya found out directly from Comexim that Rosettes is a one-seam half cup. So now we know!
BTW, all these sales going on. I ran the numbers and while an item ... itself is cheaper if ordered direct from EM or Comexim (provided it is 'off the rack'), when I added in the cost of shipping based on previous orders and EM's multiple stupid charges, and than factored in the potential cost of a non-fitting return to Poland, Zathiya comes out ahead. Also Zathiya will include special orders (size, different cut) in their 35% off sale. Not custom orders (alterations) though.

The BM magnolia is definitely cheaper right now. Zathiya has it for $35 + shipping, on Ewa's site (right now) it ends up being a little under $49.
Zathiya is pretty much always either cheaper or within a few dollars of the cost of ordering directly from EM. For Comexim there's a pretty big markup though (since comexim doesn't have any sort of retailer discount)
I'm thinking about placing a custom Comexim order to have the new Gemma made into a 3HC. I'm debating if I should order the 65" band or 70" band? I tried a 65 Poison Ivy, which was too tight, but then I also have the AP Lady Grey Sophisticated Balconnet in 70, and it's a touch on the 'looser' side ... (still fits, just not super snug). From what I read, Poison ivy's band was tight, but now I'm unsure of what to do? I measure 30.5 loose, 29 snug, and 27.6 BTT. I just haven't tried enough Comexim's to know how consistent they are in their bands? For reference, I have 30s in all other brand, but some of them are on the looser side. I like my bands to fit quite snug (not painfully tight or cup warping though). Thanks

They're not very consistent in their bands unfortunately. I think the general rule of thumb is that black bands run tight, however i have found that my black bands from Comexim have all been on the larger/stretchier side

So, I went to Nordstrom yesterday to try on some bras since measuring.. the lady said I measured at a 34dd, but I told her the band wouldn't be snug enough so I went with a 32ddd, my current size. I don't know if I'm just not used to it, but all the ones I tried felt a tad small. ... She had me swoop and scoop, but then when my breasts were quadding on top she would grab the top of the cup and jerk it until my boob fell down and smudged against my chest wall. Um.. not really thinking that's a good fit. After that, I grabbed a couple 32f EU size and felt like they fit a little better. They were just so smushed into me in those styles and VERY uncomfortable. Right now all I have is a 32ddd from VS and I'm literally spilling out of it.
I've discovered I have projected, full on top, with inner fullness and ?average? roots. Roots are a bit on the tall side. I'm hoping to order a couple Comexim bras and see if those work better, I don't want to buy a bra that makes me look smaller or flattened. Which is what almost all the molded bras I tried on did. Not enough support either. I really hope I can order at least one I like!

I'd start trying 32F which I think is the US equivalent of 32DDDD. Most of us use the U.K. labels because more if the bras outside the matrix sizes use them. I believe uk 32E is approximately the US 32DDD. There is also a chance the bras you are wearing are too shallow so that it pushes you up and out of the bra too much. I think Freya is supposed to work well with tall roots and also as far as molded cups are concerned parafait affinitas is good with taller roots as well.

Out of curiosity...if you have gone up/down a cup size, and you think it might be because of weight gain/loss (not tissue migration), and you have EVERY INTENTION of dealing with that...someday...how long have you hung on to bras you love that used to fit fine but that just do not fit anymore? Just polling the community before I do something drastic and regret it!! Thanks for enabling in advance

I keep them when I really love them. My bra-drobe is about 1/3 bras that don't quite fit me now (I've gotten half a size/1 size bigger lately), but I can't seem to give up on them, because maybe I'll lose some weight soon *sigh*
barring major weight change, if a bra hasn't fit for more than two years, I get rid of it. Same as pants and dresses.

I'm interested in buying the Comexim Musetta Half Cup but I'm not sure what size to get.
I've emailed Comexim and it's been a few days with no response. For my unlined Comexims I have:
Donna 70E which fits perfectly
Chloe 65F cups are too small
Coco 70F band is too big.

For lined and unlined, what is your most comfortable band size? 65 or 70? Start with that. Some band variation can happen even in brands as consistent as Comexim so if your Coco is the only one you have that is too big, call it an anomaly. As to cups, look at the balance of cup width and cup depth. Comexim across models can vary a little in cup depth based on fabrics used, but they are pretty consistent with their wires widths within half cups. It is possible that the 65F has slightly narrower wires than the 70E and if you don't feel any root pain from it, it may still be too narrow to get the right shape and fit. Ordering non-returnables is always a risk, but with Comexims, you should be able to find a buyer here if it doesn't work. I have always had my best results from ignoring specific cup depth measurements as there can be so much variation between measurements and going by average band lengths, average cup widths, and cup size ratios (ie , HH work best for unlined, so J will probably be best for lined, etc.)

I ordered Musetta as a 3HC, in 60E. I can´t really compare the cupsize as it is the only unpadded 3HC I tried so far, but I can tell that the band is true to size, neither too small nor too wide for a 60. It is too small for me in the cups, so I think it is on the small side. 60E in padded 3HC fits me well. Cupwise it should be comparable to your Coco.

Does anyone have experience buying bras in a sister size to tailor it to yourself later? I wear a 30JJ/K in Curvy Kate, but the options are pretty limited . Plus ,I've read that Curvy Kate cups actually run big, so that eliminates other cute bras from a lot of other companies for me.
I really ,really want a ... longline bra,but no one seems to make it above an H cup. I was wondering if it would work if I bought a 34 H and had it tailored (by someone who knows how ) to my 30jj? This question goes for other bra styles too. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It is possible to alter a band to make it smaller, but I think if you go beyond 1 band size you take the risk of the wires being too wide
I've never tried it, but one thing to note is that 34H is a sister size to 30J, not 30JJ

Thanks for posting this. Nike swoosh is a pretty good description of my shape, so I took your survey. I used my index size from here as the calculator for r/abrathatfits overestimates my cup by one or two sizes. Good luck with your project. I hope you get good information.

I fit really perfectly into Comexim (75F, though my measurements have me at about a 30FF). I'm struggling to find a sports bra that isn't way too shallow and long rooted for me, and was hoping someone had some advice. It's hard to find bras here since I don't have a local boutique that has anything in my size. Thank you so much in advance.

It was a 65F - one sister size up from the "28F" I tried from Breakout Bras that was too small. This one will likely be too small as well (and too big in the band), but I'm okay with it being a slightly sub-par fit if I'm not paying the crazy markup for it.
I decided to order a few other things as well. I got a 60G Mystic, a 60H 3HC Tropical Garden longline and a 60G 3HC Ingrid. Three different sizes and three different cuts are in this order, so something has to fit... right?

Hi, I'm just wondering what could be possible causes of br underwire causing pain (and red marks) under just one boob...always the same boob, not just in brqas that don't quite fit but lso ones that seem to fit well? A bra can be comfy for a couple of hours and then start to become really sore under my right boob. My right side is smaller than my left so surely I should be more likely to get pain under the left one? Thnks in advance.

It maybe that you have a rid out of normal alignment. Ask your doctor and maybe a chiropractor?
it also could be that it slides down more easily on that side because the cup is a little empty so their isnt enough upward pressure? Have you tried adjusting it? I mean, several times throughout the day, when I notice a little pain, I move my (very center-heavy) boobs towads the outside of the cup, hike the wires up, pull the band down in teh back, and feed the straps through towards the back. Admittedly I dont have to do this as much in Panache bras as in Ewa Michalaks, but even Panache will slip some times

I see bra bloggers doing this a lot - raising their arms and stretching up to show a fit and pose for a photo. Why?
When I do similar things in my bras, the cups tend to go very wrinkly and gape as my tissue pulls up out of the cups with my arm movement. I thought this was normal - ... you can't expect a bra to fit your every movement. But some bloggers seem to still have a good fit in these poses. (Similar: TFW when your boobs look so good in an unlined bra, then you lay down and suddenly the cups are all wrinkly and empty - I always try to take my bra off before laying down when I"m with someone)
I can't point to any of my specific bras that do this without going to try them all on, but does anyone else relate? Maybe it has something to do with build, tissue softness, if you're muscular, etc.? I know not all my bras are perfect fits, but I thought I was getting close - so it makes me wonder.

I don't understand when people are stretching, or raising their arms up, or when the have their shoulders hunched or pulled back.
I personally will have my arms out, or bent so my hands are on my hips, but that's to get my arms out of the photo. 'Cause who wants to see arms?
I guess I could say some of it may be unintentional. I think I tend to pull my shoulders back a little. I'd say I try to pose in a natural way, but maybe it's like when a doctor asks you to breathe "normally", and suddenly you forget how to breathe normally / stand naturally.

What is the immediate projection in Ewa Michalak's SF cut like, compared to the projection in the S cut?
I tried the S Syrena model in a 30K, but even with the pads removed, it felt about 2 cup sizes to small for me, and the top of the cups gaped pretty badly, though the band was true to size.
Does ... the SF model have more projection in the K to KK cup-sizing range (assuming the same band size of 30)? I'd like the support that the padded Ewa models give, but I also need a mesh at the top of the cup that conforms to my (currently shallow) tissue.
Would the SF suit my needs?
Or should I try the all-over stretch mesh of the BM models instead?

SF is not at all stretchy and is very shallow at the bottom, ot create more cleavage at the top. I find it much more shallow at the wire than the S is. Although to be fair, my SF (which i still can wear) is a 70J and my Ss are 75JJ.
But you do generally need to go up at least 1 cup size in the S compared to any unpadded bras.
You know, it also would really help if you could put up some pictures? do a fit request?

Yes, my breast shape is actually Very Full on Top, but due to a lot of weight loss this year, there's just not enough tissue(?) to fill out the types of bras (like the S and possibly the CHP) that are generally recommended for my shape.
Functionally, the breast tissue behaves more like Full on Bottom now, if that makes any sense.
Dang, I was really hoping the SF would work, but it sounds like it may not be for me after all.
Im going to go ahead and try the BM and report back here with some pictures like you suggested.

I got it off Aliexpress; it has a got a Panache Sport style fastening in the bak and I am pretty sure it is a knockoff of some brand, but I can't figure this out. The printed size in the interior of the bra would suggest a Western brand...

Could be underarmour knockoff - i picked up a 32D underarmour sports bra recently.
I did get refitting help already for my reorder, but since I have a listing for this, I really just need some confirmation that I labelled this bra's fit appropriately since I'm starting to second guess myself again and I'm afraid of being misleading.
It's a Comexim Ingrid plunge in 50H, but all the alterations I put on it decreased ... its size by a lot. In my listing, I said it fit like a "24DD", although now I'm not quite sure of how accurate that is. For reference, I usually order 50Fs in Ewa Michalak. I quad pretty badly, more than the 50E I used to own, so I guessed that it's probably more than a cup size. Probably two, doubtful if three.
I've already added its measurements on the site, if that helps anyone! And the link is to my fit check album, which has more pictures than my Bratabase entry, although it's really the last two that show the extent of quadding. Alterations include lowered cups, lowered gore, narrowed gore, and straps moved in. Cookie pockets too, but they're not important at the moment.
I wish I took one "cross-section" picture of the type of cutting in the top of the cup produced on my boob. The "valley" produced by the top of the cup is amusingly flat, like it's a gore of its own:. (\_/). This looks like the kind of quad that gave "quadboob" its name.

First of all - that bra's romantic flowered style and the way it is colored suits you very well.
The quadding is probably because the cups are not open enough like e.g. a Freya Deco Honey 28D bra would be. If you have FoT boobs this could cause the quadding with Ingrid.
I don't think this bra is perfect in cut and size for you because of the quad.
Hmm ok well this is a very good question, because frankly 24 bands are so rare that I think even people who technically would require them, probably don't have a lot of them! So they might not even know what their "fits like" goal size should be if they are shopping.
I did a search by measurements with the depth, width and wire length of this particular bra to see what results came up (leaving band length blank so as to see all the sister sizes) and it brought up a lot of 28Ds. So I think we could probably hypothesize that this would be fit like a [theoretical] 24E or a snug-fitting 26DD? Does that make sense to you?

I inquired with Impimi about whether they can do 50 band bras, and they said they could! But, they want my measurements. Since they seem a little pricey and wide in smaller sizes, I was hesitant on taking the risk so I never did place an order. Has anyone ever given Impimi their measurements and had an accurate-sized bra made specifically for them? I'm worried they'd pull an Ewa and give me a too-large band and too-small cups!

What is their gaurantee if you give them your measurements? If it does not fit will they exchange? I have read some stories of too large bands.
I tried a Gorsenia Balconette / Halfcup - the bras with two vertical seams - in size 65E (which was to big) and 65D (too small).
I won't try this style again but I have Gaia halfcups in mind. Does anyone know if they fit similar?
If they do I guess I won't try the bras.
I tried a fullcup and a ... half padded bra from Gaia (both too big in the cup and to small in the band) so I'd go for 70C. Gaia halfcups seem to have less coverage than the ones from Gorsenia, Gorsenia seems less open on the top, so the smaller size could work for Gaia. Maybe not, I'm just guessing.

I'm really, really lost with converting my UK size (28F / 30E, depending on the bra & band) to the size I ought to order in Wellfitting/Comexim. I recognize that they use different sizing systems. I've tried pinning down the size based on comparing bra measurements - my best fitting bras are roughly 5.0-5.2" wide, and 8.5-9.0" deep, I'm projected, ... even, and with roots that are on the narrow end of average - but every bra & cut seems totally different. Wellfitting's calculator puts me in a 30DDD (I suppose a Comexim 65F?) but examining bra measurements makes me think I ought to be at *least* one to two cup sizes bigger and possibly up a band. Halp!
Does anyone have recs on particular cuts that would be good for my shape and, more importantly, what size I should be getting?

65F will be way too small on you. I like a depth of 8-8.5 & a width of 5-5.25 (preferably 5.25) and I wear 65G/70F. I think you'd be good with 65H, or possibly the next size up.
Actually looking at my Comexim's you may be best with the size above 65H (I'm not sure if it's HH or I). Most of my 65G/70F have a depth between 8" and 8.25".
Thats a difficult question.
I wear a 30D in Freya and a 32C in Fauve. My few Cleos are F cups and in Comexim it should be a 60G.
So I think you are right and should rather order the bigger cupsize (or the best: order more than one cupsize and send back what doesn't fit.)

Hi 100percentawesome I just placed a big Impimi order and wondered the same thing...even debated buying a push up for science to find out...in the end I did not get one though. The construction must be identical since they are using the same image for both. It either comes with removable cookies or they are sewn in. I did notice there is a cup size cut-off for the push up. That made me think that it might be more shallow at the bottom than the regular Nichol (which is actually pretty deep there). Heck, at the price its almost worth a blind try! Or of course I could have emailed to ask d'oh!
jennyanni I'm doin' the science, then ;) I ordered a regular Nicol in beige, and a Nicol Push Up in black, both 30E/65F. Results, hopefully, soon!
