I'm sooo frustrated. I live in a country where EM does not ship to (not even by DHL). But there are some affordable bras at the outlet so I ordered one in late March, having it shipped to Germany and then a shipping service that transfers it to where I live. It has been stuck in Leipzig (probably the customs) ... for 2 weeks. I emailed EM who replied that they would check with Polish Post. The next day, the tracking shows that delivery is missed and the package is being returned to the sender. I'm guessing it didn't get through customs (?) and that probably would be EM's fault if they didn't fill in the declaration properly. I think I'm just going to ask for a refund because the same thing is likely to happen again if I have it shipped to Germany once more. Not sure if they will give me a refund on the shipping cost though. I guess I'm going to place an order with Comexim, since they ship to where I live with Polish post, which is cheaper but also faster (around 1 week).

So frustrating and disappointing!
Hate it when things go wrong with delivery through no fault of your own - makes you feel so helpless.
Maybe you can somehow find an EM bra from a different source, like ebay, or in the listings on here?
And Comexims are great too!!
bubblegum Regular priced EM is just a bit out of my price range :( but I’ve been keeping an eye on the listing here for something my size and is a BM cut.
I’m getting tired of EM because the last time I ordered from them (when I lived in a country where they shipped to), there was a problem with the straps that I returned to them to fix but they didn’t reimburse me for the shipping. And they also refuse to ship to where I live now despite postal service being available and for quite cheap.
Comexim is great, but they just don’t have a lot of unlined styles to choose from.

M&S bras fit me rather well. i've never tried their sport bras tho. i do know that their size conversion table is wrong tho. as they think american size 32C= uk32D, which is wrong. other than that, i like them for their basic lines. i used to buy from them alot before they changed their website. now i have to pick usa site, so i get less of a selection.

I looked up stores near me that sold panache and stuff so they'd have extended sizes. I found one 20 minutes away and got sized there, and oh boy this stuff felt good and fit. I dropped a bunch of money lmao.
The band size that fits me best is 36 actually not 34. I feel kinda dumb about that. ... I was reccomended 34 and that seemed closest but maybe I was measuring a weird spot.
I'm happiest because bras I'd tried before and liked but were wrong sizes were there. I got a bra I'd done a fit check on that actually fit.

Two nights ago, I received an email from a boutique in Langley, BC, "Forever Yours." It was maybe *two minutes* after I got the email that I clicked on the link for their sale - they had several Ewa Michalak bras on sale, but they were totally sold out on sale EM's anywhere near my size!! Two minutes after ... the email, two minutes!!
I checked their instagram https://www.instagram.com/foreveryourslingerie/, and they posted about their sale maybe 6 hours before they sent their email. They do have almost 32K followers on IG. So, maybe they were just sold out quickly, or maybe there was just a lot of advertising about the sale, and people were waiting to buy stuff. A couple of weeks ago, before the sale, they had plenty of EM's in my size (according to their website, at least).
But, I'm thinking - for me to get an Ewa Michalak bra from a boutique in Canada *on sale* in my size is just not going to happen. (it's a pipe dream!) If I see a bra that I like, by the time that I wait for it to go on sale, it will be sold out in my size I'm convinced. So, I'm pretty much resolved to paying regular price, it is what it is.
I noticed Levana Bratique (in PA, USA) they had their "Sale on Polish Bras" last month - I'm not sure if she recently changed her shipping, or if it was always like that, but I was comparing prices and I noticed; when I put something in my shopping cart and tried to check out, I believe the shipping is $50 usd, 2-day shipping (FedEx). Plus, duties/taxes. So, unfortunately, that makes it not worth it to buy EM bras from U.S. boutiques, even when they're on sale I believe.
My sister lives in Chicago and I could just use that address and have my sister ship it to me (slower), but ....not only does it add to the cost, but those bras better fit b.c. it will be way past the "7 day exchange" window that boutiques have. (Plus, am I going to get in trouble at the border for not paying duties/taxes on my purchases, idk) Which I'm not complaining about (Levana Bratique) - she's running a business and she can't have people holding on to items for 45 days, then deciding to return it, so I totally get it!!!
Sorry, I guess I'm just complaining, to complain...lol. I missed my chance to get EM's on sale b/c I didn't check my Instagram...I guess my other options to buy EM's from boutiques in Canada are Broad Lingerie in Toronto, or Secrets From Your Sister in Toronto, which the shipping still takes a long time. (I'm just complaining b/c I'm used to having things so instantly #microwave society)
I recently learned about a boutique in Dartmouth, NS, Custom Curves, that sells Ewa Michalak's, and her sale bras EM's are $80, but I guess I feel like I'm "taking up all of her time" lol, because she doesn't have the bras listed online, so you have to contact her directly through Facebook/email to see what she has in your size. Outside of BM style, I'm not really sure of my size in EM's other styles. And I'm not sure what her return policy is (I mean, maybe I should ask...).

"your bra store" is a Canadian online bra store that sells discontinued stock from lingerie stores. I do not know what size you are looking for in Ewa Michalak but I do know that they have branched out into the Polish bras. If they have what you are looking for you are golden. Look at their return policy, as they are a small business and are not keen on the Amazon shopping model. I feel your pain with bra shopping in Canada!

My grandmother passed away. She’s in the heaven now. Thanks to her, I met all of cousins in this covid era. And also I found that we got the Big boobs gene too. Long story short, I want to buy the panache sports non-wired bra for my cousin. I have 2 things to be considered. One, she’s physically challenged person. ... Two, she’s chubby.

I have 2 bras now that fit pretty well! 34G. They're better than any bras I own. But they still don't check all the boxes for fit based on the fit evaluation on bratabase. So technically don't fit.
I don't know if I should keep one and pay for it (amazon wardrobe) and possibly have better fitting bras in the future, or return them until I get a good one and save $60. Ugh bras cost money

I struggle with this same dilemma too. Do I keep something now, that is ok, or do I return it and keep my money in the hopes that something better comes along.....
I’d say pick your favorite of the two and keep it.... or, unless you just prefer brand new bras with tags, return them both to Amazon and look for the same size and model on here or on eBay for a good price and buy that instead. Depending on what you’re looking for you can often find good prices for things that are “new without tags”.
IDK. Just my two cents.
I would say that it depends on what aspect is not fitting and whether you are ok with the compromise of the fit. I think that some areas of fitting properly will never happen to some people due to their shape. You could pick the better one and return the other and keep trying, return both but remember these in case you need to come back, or keep them if you think you will wear them but keep looking for something better as you wear them.

I got a Panache 34G and it still feels weird. I know 34 is a good band size so maybe it's the cup again. Oh well I have some different bras in the mail that are also 34G so I'll see if those fit better.
Bra calculator said I'm 34FF UK but that size hasn't fit me in the past. Cup way too small. This one the cup actually covered me pretty well but it was just weird . Idk. Might post a fit check

Are you FOT/have tall roots? Generally FOT/ tall-rooted people have to size up in the cup.
@marilynne I'm not sure about tall roots but I'm starting to think I'm kind of full on bottom because that bra had some gapes in the top

But both them and another friend were open to my suggestions and measured themselves and they're pretty excited about being 40H instead of 40DDD and idk what size my other friend ... ended up being because she immediately bought something off Brastop as soon as she followed the guides on Busty Resources 😂

I think Freya, Cleo, and Curvy Kate don't really fit my shape and placement qwq and Marks and Spencer US doesn't carry my size at all

So I’ve been noticing lately that my bra band rolls underneath itself and leaves deep marks on my skin, especially at the underwire at the bottom of the cups and underneath the gore.
I’m also noticing that I can fit my finger under the underwire. Am I wearing boob hats? What is this weird fit issue? Band too big? Cups too small? I don’t know but it’s troubling me!

Hmmmm..Well, bras like people are aging, i faced the same issues with some Bras.
Or could it be related to the quality of the fabric itself ?.
Are all your bras fitting this way, wires lifting away? Maybe a new size assessment is needed. For the band rolling, sometimes this happens to my bras. No idea why, but it’s supper annoying. What I do is roll the band out, and put a few stitches at the wire to keep it there.

I'm so proud of myself! I have an old Comexim (like, several years old, wouldn't be worth adding to the database + I've stretched it out a bit etc) which had a wire pop out of the channel that I hadn't worn for a few years because of it (easily accessible bra recycling programs please hmu my crops are dying ... and by crops I mean my closet space). I've been tentatively interested in getting into sewing lately, and today, I tried stitching up that channel, and it worked! I put the bra on and everything and the stitches didn't pop! What would happen if I wore the bra for a few hours is yet to be determined but I'm so excited to add another bra into my rotation.
Maybe you'll catch me putting darts in my bras that are a bit tall or shortening bands in the not too far future.

Congrats on your first bra rescue! :) It all seems more scary than it actually is. I was at first scared to shorten a band, one day I just did it and it went well. Maybe if you do a bigger alternation for the first time, choose an older bra. For my first wire transplant I used a worn out bra to test it.
On-wards to bra salvaging and bring on those custom-fitting darts!

This morning I was getting frustrated that none of my bras fit, and I think I realized why when I went to put on my only semi-comfortable bra, a 75HH Comexim Talisman half cup.
Usually the bra slides down out of my IMF and gets really annoying halfway through the day. I looked at the bra and realized it ... looked super wide... then I thought, what if the wires just got stretched out from wearing the band too tight? So I bent them back as narrow as I could reasonably get them and hooked the bra on the loosest hooks instead of the tightest, thinking “here goes nothing”... and it worked! It was comfortable all day. No more wrinkles on the bottom of the cup from lack of immediate projection.
Time for me to accept that I’m not a 28 or 30 band anymore. After having three kids, my rib cage is larger, so now I’m between a 32 and 34. Now hopefully the 32 band bras I just ordered from EM aren’t ridiculously small like they sometimes are....

Making it only available in the UK or, the rare few sites that actually offer international shipping only stock up to G cup, ... or the worst of all, HH. I bought a couple of 32FF Freya Piper longlines on impulse. This bra was one of the first bras in 30F I ever tried years and years ago. Unfortunately, I still have the same problem with them I had back then - the stupid band keeps flipping up!
So a couple questions about Freya longlines in general. I know the band ... flipping was a common problem back when I had my old Piper. Have they improved with some of their newer models, or are they just not worth trying for me? Or are they maybe worth trying in a band size up? And could there be a way to modify them myself so this stops happening?

I have close set, center full, breast with average to narrow roots, and short roots that make me functionally FOB even though by looking the vertical fullness is even, and soft tissue. So far my bets fits are the Ewa Michalak BM. Everything in the 80E is as close to perfect as it gets, but the straps are soooo wide ... set 😭 I can’t wear it under any of my tank top style dresses, which I wear A LOT cuz it gets hot here. The 80DD almost fits, the strap placement is much better. But it does a very slight squish/quad on my larger size, and the shape is just not quite as good. In either side I really ideally need wires overlapped. I adore the look of plunges (what’s the point of being center full if you can’t rock that butt crack cleavage lol) but the only decent fit I get is the Comexim Plunge. My 34FF from Breakout Bras was borderline (I added homemade cookies on my smaller side and moved the straps in 2 cm, drastic improvement). Now it’s gapping A LOT at the top, so I’m trying a custom from comexim in a cup size down with wires overlapped and straps moved in 1 cm ( I have a 34F from breakout bras and it fits pretty well. Still need a small cookie on the smaller side). But those plunges I just can’t wear nearly as long as the BMs before they are digging in. I just want something that fits like the Comexim plunge but feels like the EM BM and I can’t find it lol

This is a follow up to my recent adventure : https://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/20168/ about how I tried Freya Viva and Freya Florri and they actually work for me in large cup when older bras by Freya never worked.
Since I wanted to give more styles a try, I took the risk to order 30K Fancies that was on clearance. I took ... the time to check which collection it is from. Since my Florri und Viva which fit well are from SS19 I thought everything from then onwards will have new imporved fit and wire. So I thought AW19 Fancies in 30K is a good try - no, just no it wasn't.
Everything that can be wrong with a bra, was wrong with that one. Wires wide, frame too wide, east-west fit, straps too seperated, top section too tall - overall the front of the bra and the cups were more suited to a 34K --- you'd need super broad ribcage and wide shoulders to make this bra work.
So beware not all bras have improved fit for large cups not even newer ones.

Have you checked Freya's cuts page? Maybe there's specific cuts that will be better than others at larger cup sizes.
I check the cuts to make sure what I'm getting is even friendly and not pure FOB, maybe that can provide additional style recommendations for larger cup sizes too?

Hello ladies! After trying multiple sizes in the Elomi Kim, I'm finally giving up and am turning my attention to trying to find a different bra. I think I just need more bottom projection.
Any suggestions on a bra with wide wires and lots of projection? I was thinking Freya Offbeat Side support and Panache Jasmine. Thoughts?

The Offbeat side support does have good projection (as you saw on my review). I might also suggest Freya Fancies, or if you’re willing to venture into Polish bras, try Kris Line - their wires seem wider than most other Polish brands, and they have lots of room at the bottom of the cups for projection.
The Panache Jasmine in 36J was pretty uncomfortable and I'm debating if I should try it in a sister size. I liked the rounded uplift it gave, but there was still wrinkling just above the underwires. And those wires...ouch! I used to wear a Panache Porcelain about 10 years ago when I was a 30G and they hurt in all the same places. The straps are also so wide set that they kept slipping off of my shoulders.
pretty_promise OK- I ordered a Freya Fancies so fingers crossed! I think I'll probably eventually venture into the Polish bras, I've just been trying to exhaust my options before delving into that adventure. That's good to keep in mind Kris Line because their reputation for narrow wires has been one of the reasons for me not looking into Polish bras.
So I'm thinking of ordering from breakout bras for easy returnability to nail down my comexim size. I think I'm about a 60L in their plunges. Would this be a 28HH from breakout bras? Thank you!

This is a whole problem. I think you'll have to ask them to be totally sure, but if you tend to wear 28:12 across the board then I think you'd get a 28JJ from BoB. All my BoB Comexims are labeled 30J, for instance, and I wear 30:11 consistently.
@bustyand Right now I'm measuring at a 26:12, but I think 28GG/H may be a beter fit. My best fitting bra is a 26:12 from EM, but I also fit well into 2 older 28:10 plunges from Comexim. And I was popping out of a 28:10 newer scottie and a 28:12 older Veronique. So I think they've changed their sizing up. So I think I need 10.5"-11" of depth and a stretched band of 26"-28".

In theory, I think they’re supposed to fit the same. For me personally, I didn’t care for the firmness of the fabric of the SF. I noticed that if it didn’t fit just right it looked baggy and lumpy, whereas the BM style seems to have more give. Then again, the only SF I tried was entirely too big, so that may have also swayed my decision a bit.
I have both, and both fit me fine. I do prefer the SF, though.
