This is probably a long-shot, but has anyone ever ordered anything from Nessa’s website directly? I’m curious if they’re only wholesale or if they do sell from their website. There’s no “add to cart” option, just “contact” them about the bra you’re looking at which is why I’m wondering! There’s less and less sellers online selling Nessa’s stuff, or they just aren’t restocking or something.

Went to check Lace.se but it's redirecting to Lace-Lingerie.com now so it seems they've just pulled all domains into one website instead, which is fine on it's own, but now they're charging 10 euro for shipping, and it seems they're shipping from Germany now, and not from Denmark (To sweden it was from ... denmark before at least, and it was next day delivery. for free!)
The minimum order value is still 100 euro, but now with 10 euro shipping and you now have to pay the return shipping costs yourself. Previously ordering from the .se site, there was free shipping and "free" returns, but they deducted ~5 euro off your return (which was still cheaper than paying return postage yourself).
Sad times. Where will I try Ewa Michalak, Kris Line etc from now :'(

That's too bad. Although I live in Germany, I seldom order something from Lace since the COVID time begins. I feel Lace is trying to save any cost of transporting or storing the goods. They almost never update the products from UK or PL brands but those from the BE brand Prima Donna, which are way too expensive for me to purchase.
Yeah for sure they are slow to get new bras in but when they do I would order them to try. Oh well. I can get nessa bras from ebay from a German store at least.. But kris line is impossible to find anywhere :/

Alas, the Glamorise T Shirt bra I ordered on Amazon is not a keeper. I hoped I could get away with a 36 D, but I should have known. Band too big. Cups too tall. [Facepalm]

I know! Their marketing is sooo good. I always find myself wanting to purchase their bras. But I KNOW they will not work. I just go to their page with the front closing bra that they offer in a 30 band and I look at the pictures of the models. It reminds me it is not worth buying. They have this one poor girl who should be like a 30F in a 36C and her poor boobs are just swaying in the wind, not lifted at all. Though, I hear great things if you are in their size range.
Oo, I think I know the pic you’re talking about! Yeah, that one makes my back hurt looking at it. I have that actual bra, and holy moly are the cups stretchy!!! I got the same size in a non stretchy cup, and the fit was significantly different... trying a cup size up now.
So far, I think I AM in their size range ( except for the models that start at a 36 band, which is basically everything unwired except sports bras...ugh), but I’ve only just started getting serious about finding my right size, so that could change. I’d love it if I got back to being more active and went back to a 32 band like before kids. That might be a few years away though. LOL. (And silent face palm).
The bra I have is pretty comfy though, stretch and all. The wires are the closest I’ve found to being wide enough so far, I think. I want to take some pix and submit a fit check soon to make sure I’m right about my shape and size.

After some trying on bras at 34DD again to see if that size actually could fit, nope it isn't ideal. After trying larger cup bras before I understand now that DD isn't big enough for me. (Unless I go to 36 which is way too loose of a band).
My underbust is only 31 1/2 inches but 32 has always ... felt too tight even when I sized up to a F and FF. So I've started trying 34.
Yet one of the softer bras I tried felt too loose and the tighter underwired one felt way too tight. Its duuuumb. Target does have expanded sizes online and I think i might try them because these bras were nice quality.

You might need a larger cup than F or FF in 32. A too small cup on the right size band is going to fit tighter because the cups are trying to be part of the band and then don’t have enough room for boob. What does the A Bra That Fits calculator say? Have you tried entering your measurements here?

I'm talking about the Elomi bras that have the J-hook converter for a racerback strap option. Like Elomi Matilda or Charley. Today I tried on 2 bras, Elomi Charley in 32JJ and 34JJ. The 34JJ was just slightly big in cup and I wear the band on tightest setting. So 32JJ it is. But with the 32JJ I cannot do ... up the Racerback option as I'd end up with quadboob.
For me to be able to do up the J-hook I need to make the straps the longest possible only then I can do it without hurting myself. Even then I feel some pressure from the tight straps on my neck.
Usually I wear me Elomi bras the regular way but since I had a larger size here I wanted to experiment with the racerback. I think it's not for me. I have been wearing it like 15 mins but cannot get over the feeling of pull on my neck and shoulders
What is your experience with it? Do you like this feature?

I love a good racer back or J Hook. My frame is pretty narrow so the J Hook is often an answered prayer. You will have to make the straps as long as possible to use the J Hook, that’s pretty normal I think. When the hook is hooked they have to be way longer to reach because they are no longer going in a straight line. If you haven’t tried sliding the J Hook down towards the band in back, I’d give that a try before giving up on the J hook altogether. Sometimes you have to mess with the placement until you get just the right spot. But of course, it’s totally possible that J Hooks are just not for you.... I know balconettes are not for me.
I can’t do racer back. The straps cut into my shoulders and give me headaches from the strain.

I have my eye on a bikini, but I have my worries about fit! Has anyone ordered a bikini top from Comexim before? and if so, how was the band? I usually get a 60 but have to start off with an extender as I hate a very firm band. As the bikini top will only have 1 hook, I am worried about firmness.

I have the Comexim Treasure Plunge, http://bra.pe/X2L1/ , and I like it a lot. Tho the one I got had a band that ran very loose and the wires very narrow. Since it was swimwear I ended up just bending the wires out a bit and I took the band in myself since it was a simple fix. After the simple alterations I had a good fit.

I am eyeing up the kameleon. The very few reviews say it is loose. I will just oreder my normal 60 and if it is loose, I can take it in. Now to decide on a plunge or 3hc 😂. I prefer a 3hc but i feel the plunge is more supportive, for running around a waterpark.

My second bra from Majamas Earth arrived today- the Padded Addy in a pattern called Bacca, size L. I’m excited to have second Majamas bra because they are so comfy and just plain easy. I think I prefer the Padded Active bra though- the racer back really helps, but that style was not on sale. This L is just ... on the edge of being too big, so I’ll handwash it in warm and see if it shrinks a tiny bit or if I have put it in the dryer on low. I ordered two more bras from Glamorise on Amazon. If both of those are keepers I might be done buying bras for this year. That would be nice. I just want to like my bras again!!!

MY COMEXIM BLACK FRIDAY ORDER FINALLY ARRIVED TO ME IN CANADA YESTERDAY
Expect a ton of info incoming over the next couple days
To begin things off... I placed my order on Nov. 27th. It shipped on Dec. 16th and left Poland on Dec. 18th, and arrived yesterday, Jan. 20th. The tracking did not tell me anything after it left Poland.
The three ... bras I ordered (55J Scottie, 55J Basic beige with reduced cups and straps moved in 1cm each, and the highly-anticipated(?) Elise in 55K with 55J wires, straps moved in 1cm, 1cm depth added near wires, and wires overlapping) all fit, albeit the Basic and Elise didn't fit quite as I expected. The Basic situation is very strange. More to come on that later.
I ordered the Rose high-waisted panties, the Yellow Bird shorty, the Elise panties, and the Scottie panties, all in Small. Some of you may remember that I had been going back and forth on the size to order. The Small was definitely the right choice for all of the panties, but some of them were just not the right cut (and they were all cut differently). The Elise and Yellow Bird panties both fit; the Rose is close but no cigar; the Scottie is the biggest fail. I'll touch on the Elise and Scottie panties in their respective bra reviews, and I may update the Yellow Bird bra review with the shorty info. I think I'll make a separate adventure post to talk about the panties too so it's a little easier to find that info.

Okay, let's do some maths with an erasable pen.
First, stand straight, find your narrowest distance between your boobs and track it with a horizontal straight line A. Then look down to track the visible part of the red mark from the bra center gore bottom with another horizontal straight line B. Connect the endpoints straightly and extend upwards to ... make a big triangle (that divided by line A into a small triangle and a trapezoid).
Measure the height of the big triangle (H1) and the length of line B and notice them. Then measure the gore height of your bra (H2).
Then the maximum cup seperation that fits you will be: B×(H1-H2)/H1
For example: I personally have H1=10.5 cm and B=6.5 cm. For H2=6.5 cm (like my new Freya half cup), I can tolerate a maximum cup seperation of 6.5×(10.5-6.5)/10.5=2.5 cm. And the Freya half cup itself has a cup seperation of 2.4 cm (smaller than 2.5 cm). So this center gore fits.

I don't quite understand the instructions. What red mark from the bra? Are we measuring the distance and height between our boobs or are we measuring some red mark from our bra?

Sorry for the bad expression. Actually I mean the red mark on your ribcage that was left by the gore bottom (from a bra with full band). You just need to look down and track the visible part between the boobs, then measure it for the calculation.

I recently had a breast lift, and am still feeling sore and tender so I don’t want to wear underwire, but I need some support and shaping! I’m measuring a 34FF, which pre surgery when I measured I was wearing 34F/E with similar measurements. I was pretty center full and am close set with short roots. Any suggestions that won’t break the bank in that size range?

Hi, I'VE JUST recently got from Comexim my altered bra. It was the first time I attempted to buy any bra online after a fiasco I had a few yeats ago due to no fault of mine, but the store I bought from back then. I asked Comexim to narrow the gore to 1cm width and 5 cm height. It ... fits perfectly and I'm genuinly surprised, thanks to bradatabase, I was able to actually pick the right size for myself. I'm just not sure what to do next. I would like to buy a few more or at least one more bra and maybe experiment by trying another brand, one that doesn't do alterations. I usually go for plunge as I prefer bras with at least some padding + the gore is many times shorter than it is in other styles. I thought about trying Freya, Curvy Kate, Panache or Fantasie as they are in my price range, can be shipped to my country and seem to have bras I like, looks wise. If I do decide to go for these brands would it be safe to assume 30 should be the band (I know I would probably have to consult the database for each individual bra) size? Thanks for helping

Comexim has a very special sizing system, if their 75H plunge fits you, it will be worth to try some UK brands in 32F. I personally suggest you to begin with some half cup bras, they are suitable for almost all breast shapes.
Yeah, I generally wear a 32 band in Curvy Kate (underbust measures 78 cm. in 'normal' state) but I do comfortably wear a 70K in Comexim. I've tried their 75 but that's definitely too big for me.
So I'd say a 30 would quite definitely be too tight for you in those brands?
I do still have and wear some Panache, C'Kate and and Freya bras 30GG/30H (worn in, so most have stretched somewhat over time) - but mostly a 30 band is tighter than I prefer & need nowadays.
So depending on how tight you like to wear your bands, in general I'd recommend you to go for a 32 or 34.

I haven't been playing social on Bratabase for months, not only because I have a ton of things to do in this semester, but also due to the difficulty to find a nice bra that fits my functional FoT shape and looks beautiful.
I guess many lingerie companies just close down most of their product lines except the ones for ... basic styles. The amount of search results of online shops such as lace.de, is constantly decreasing, even to almost nothing.
Recently I tried the Freya Rhea half cup, it belongs to the few bras on Ebay with the proper size to me and the look I love. Actually it fits ok, but the seams with embroidery and the material difference on the top edge can give my boobs a quadding appearance.
Now my perfect bras are still Figleaves Chloe 30FF and Cleo Toni 30F. Because of the podka dots on Cleo Toni, the Freya Patsy half cup on Ebay doesn't attract me a lot. Maybe a nude Cleo Marcie again in 30F? However I can't find any online shops that sell it in my area.
I just have no directions and need some shopping suggestions, and if I should keep the Freya Rhea half cup or not. By the way, I have seen on Ebay that there are some Claudette sheer bras in my size with very fancy colors, but I don't know if they can also fit my shape.

I am a bit of a poster child for "bad bra care". I consider myself to be doing well putting them in a mesh bag and using the hand wash/delicate setting on my washer. I never put them in the dryer. Hand washing something like an Ewa S or PL makes me nervous, like I will ruin it getting it wet. I kind of want to take them to the dry cleaner like a silk blouse.
I try not to wear the same bra two days in a row, but since I have gained weight, I only have a couple that "fit". Before, I was probably rotating four or five on a regular basis, with one or two others on occasion.
I am currently trying to decide if I should toss my old Panache sports bra, the wire has escaped the inner channel, so it really is not functional, but because it "looks" decent, I have trouble tossing it in the trash. Of the bras I have purchased since finding out how bras should fit, I only have a couple that I think are worn enough that I should consider getting rid of them. My Panache Porcelain was a good fit, but has had a long run and is a bit stretched out in the band and not as supportive in the cups as it was. Had I not gained weight, I would be donating it, but instead, I am hoping it holds out until I drop a few more pounds and (hopefully) fit into my old bras again. My Cleo Mimi is definitely stretched out in the band and should probably be retired, but it is so, so pretty.
My bras seem to last for a while (two or more years), I am not sure if that is because of rotation, high quality, or me not noticing that they are losing support. I was surprised at how much more supportive my new t-shirt bra was compared to my old Porcelain. I knew the bra had stretched a bit, but I did not notice a lack of support. I suppose it is like shoes, you do not necessarily realize how worn your sneakers are until you try on a new pair. "Oh yeah, THIS is how they should feel!"
AllyBra maybe you can remove the wires from the panache sport and use it as a lounge / home bra?
I wash my bras by hand - unless they are non wired then I risk the delicate wash in the machine.
I used to have Bravissimo bras in heavy rotation (wore at least once every week) that held up over 1 year until wire popped or they became unwearable. Yeah probably I wore them a bit "too long" too, but they weren't showing loose threads or gave me a "saggy" look.
Maybe bra quality has declined over the years in general as with all clothes? It's annoying as they increase in price all the time and there is not many sales going out esp. on larger or in general less common sizes.

I tried on the last bra in my diagnostic bra haul, 34HH - Fantasie » Memoir Full Cup Side Support Bra (3021), and learned some very valuable information: not only are my breasts full on top, they're extremely full on top. They're so full on top that they made a full coverage 34HH bra look like a too-small ... balcony-style bra. When I put on a bra extender to see if the tight band was distorting the shape of the cups, I did manage to get them a little more fully into the cups, showing that they are indeed pretty shallow cups, but mostly it revealed slight gaps on the sides of the cups. So again the problem is not enough depth and a too-low, too-wide cup.
With this in mind, I've been paying closer attention to the seams on potential bras as I keep looking, and I'm beginning to reach the conclusion that my breasts are just too narrow and full up top to get the kind of fit I want out of a bra. This would be so much easier if I could just go try on a bunch of bras until I found one that was close enough to deal with instead of researching all over the place and trying to make educated guesses. I picked a terrible time to realize that I've been wearing a bra roughly 8 cup sizes too small and two band sizes too big and completely the wrong shape. On the other hand, I'm also thinking I might not have been able to find something in my size anyway, and I almost certainly would have walked out of a store with a 38DD wireless bra not knowing any better had I not been forced to get a little more creative, so go figure. (It's really amazing how much you can get away with in a wireless bra while an underwire bra immediately reveals it is absolutely not the right size and not going to even pretend to play along.) I also realized that my breasts are reasonably close-set, so this may be contributing to the fact that not a single gore has even approached contact (but I'll have more answers about this one if I can finally find a bra with enough depth and immediate projection).
I keep trying to research what bras seem to work best for people with very full on top, large boobs, but all the recommendations I see either don't come big enough or they're pretty extreme balcony bras, and from my admittedly limited experience with true balcony-style bras, they cause me immediate shoulder and neck pain. I'd be willing to try some again, but I'm not comfortable relying on them as my everyday bra. (Although if I can find recs for some balcony bras that extremely full on top people with projected UK 34H/36GG+ boobs swear by, I'd give it a shot, because I think I'm narrowing down my size range to that, but i recognize that that's a tall, very specific order.)
It's so frustrating because I got such a beautiful shape with the Fantasie Memoir. Very round and almost minimized. I could see over my chest! They were held firmly in place! They projected like 2" less than they want to in pointier bras! It even seemed to work with my soft breast tissue. But absolutely everything else about it did not work, and there was so much jiggle and revealed breast up top that even if it hadn't been very painful to wear, I'm not sure I could have worn it in many settings (although it did look very nice in a shirt). And I'm kind of bummed that I never, ever wanted a cute bra in my life and always gravitated to the most plain, uninteresting bras I could find, but suddenly decided that I'd like something pretty and got excited over all the gorgeous bras out there, only to realize that I'm sized out of most of them (and the ones that might work and are cute are so, so expensive compared to the bras I'm used to).
So. I caved and bought the biggest Glamorise wireless bra I could find (US J) in a 36 band just to have something to wear. I know it's a toss-up if it'll fit, but it's probably close enough. I have literally no bras at this point and I'm tired of walking around like this. I can't believe I've been squeezing into D cups for the last two years and C cups before that. I know my breasts have gotten bigger this past year or so with some weight gain, but there's no way they grew that much, so I think it's safe to say that D was never the right size.

Yep, it's a journey and can be quite frustrating. If you do decide you just want to get closer-fit wireless bras and move on with your life, no shame in that. The only things I'll say is that, given what you're saying, you'll probably find your closest fit in Polish bras. Also I think you could maybe use a 34J in that Fantasie Memoir--the cups being too small can make a band feel too small too.
bustyand, I've been thinking I might need to try Polish bras, but I'm a little overwhelmed trying to figure out styles and sizes and where to buy them, so I was holding off. But you're probably right, so thank you for validating that idea. I'm pretty intimidated about buying international, though. (I thought about going up a size in the Memoir, but I couldn't find it above a HH. Honestly, the band was very short and barely stretched when I measured it, so I think it does also just run tight.) I do badly want some properly supportive wired bras, so I haven't totally given up, but now that I realize it's a little more involved than I expected, I'm going to slow down a bit. So among the assortment of sizes I ordered to try to figure out my actual size after wearing a 36C since I was twelve or thirteen (didn't fit then either) and then a 38D for the last two years (definitely didn't fit, and I mostly gave up and went without a bra entirely this past year), three have come. The ... 36H - Delimira » (W006) didn't fit at all, so when the same-model 36F came today, I didn't even open it. The 34GG - Fantasie » Belle Full Cup Bra (6001) was a much better fit and felt like a really good bra, so it confirmed that I really do need a 34, not a 36, at least for most bras. No wonder my breasts have always migrated under the band and spilled into the middle and I never got any support. And why they hurt. And I was constantly hiking the band up and jiggling everything somewhat back into place. I realize now that they were always pushing my boobs down onto my ribs and under my arms and squashing them into a shape they didn't want to take. So this band is much better. Totally smooth and even on the back and sides.
But the GG was just way too small. The center gore was like an inch from my chest, and the longer I wore it (maybe ten minutes?), the more my breasts tried to escape under the wire. It was definitely sitting on breast tissue the whole time. However, even though they moved up and down because the wire wasn't sitting right, there was no lateral movement, so that was nice.
Absolutely confirmed that a ton of my issue with bras is the shape, though. I had no idea that shallow vs. projected was a thing, but it turns out that I'm very projected and full on top with I guess a comparatively narrow root? I mean, they take up almost all of my chest, but not much farther, so wide underwire cups always gapped at the sides and pushed my boobs to the middle. And I always fell out of shallow bras. I just assumed that it was because my breasts were too small for the cups or too soft to stay in place firmly. I had no idea anyone even made bras in my shape since I never saw them in stores and never thought to look into it.
I bought the 34GG by accident, actually. I was so overwhelmed by the various sizes and sizing charts and not knowing where to start that I didn't even realize that Fantasie uses UK sizing. (Or Panache, which hasn't come yet.) I thought it was much smaller. And I expected the bigger sizes to be too big. So when I realized that the bra I'd just tried on was equivalent to a US 34J and was still too small, it kind of broke my brain. I thought the Panache Cleo was a US 34J when I ordered it, so I didn't even expect it to fit right now, but now that I realize a US 34J doesn't fit, I guess it's a good thing that I accidentally ordered up a couple of sizes in the Panache. Guess I'll find out when it arrives tomorrow.
The next size up in the Fantasie Belle is apparently much wider in the cups, though. I need more depth, but the wire was already just slightly too wide (not enough to be a problem) in that bra. So I'm going to keep looking for deeper cups in the same width range.
It's just a lot to process. I honestly had no idea they were that big. I just squashed them down and wore baggy clothes all the time. But this explains why I can't find a coat that fits over my chest and why I had so much trouble angling my boobs out of the frame during my online classes all semester. Seems ridiculous that I didn't realize, but oh well.

I’ve apparently gained some weight and/or bulk in my bust, so now all my Polish bras don’t fit right. 😭 Wires getting pushed out of my IMF, wires sitting on tissue, and of course the Elomi bras are still too wide.
I remeasured myself and it’s not really any different, so why the heck aren’t my bras fitting right?? I’d ... chalk it to ~that time of the month~ except it isn’t. I’m so bummed and confused. Not planning on going all-out and buying a million new bras, but I did order a KL Elegance bra in 75KK to try. Anyway, just felt like ranting, but please comment if you’d like to commiserate or if you have any advice from experience!

If you started taking a medication recently, that can affect weight or body distribution. Dietary changes from the holidays or New Year resolutions? You could be retaining water. It is possible that you have a change in volume in a parameter you are not measuring, for example, perhaps you have gained a bit "vertically", which might not be obvious if only measuring in the horizontal plane.
I continue to work on dropping the COVID-19 so I can fit back in my pretty Polish bras (actually, all my pretty bras). I feel your pain.
It sometimes just works like that. Measurement are the same or similar, but the shape and/or texture has changed.
I also noticed some change about two years ago, suddenly my best bras stopped fitting so well and I am confused what should I do about it, tbh I'm not really in mood of finding the right models *again*. :( I did get some new bras, but they're not perfect and I kinda rotate different models to avoid discomfort. And since the pandemic it's even easier to avoid since I don't have to worry about being trapped in an uncomfortable bra for over 8 hours. I'm also not eager to 'change the wardrobe" because I did it once when I was at the beginning of bra mania and after my first size change I thought it would be permanent (famous 'migration' thing) and I sold some bras, then later I actually went back to the previous size and I missed the bras I sold.

After more weight gain the underwired bras make a noise when I twist my torso. The material is rubbing along the wires. My band measurement has increased by 2 inches. Not a problem as the bra band has relaxed and stretches farther. But maybe this is why the material rubs and makes a noise against the wire when ... I move.
My question is whether this is a common issue? I never wore bras with underwires before last year so I don't know. Can other people hear it too? The wire makes cracking noises if I push on it with my fingers. Maybe it's not the weight gain. Is it poor quality? Do I need a new bra already? I think my bra and my childs hedgehog could have an entire conversation with all this squeaking.

I’ve had the squeaking/ creaking wires problem A LOT. It happens to pretty much every wired bra I’ve ever had... some sooner than others. I don’t know if it’s age or poor fit or poor quality. It could be any of those in my case. I don’t know if other people can hear it- no one has ever said anything about it. I know how you feel- it’s super annoying. Sorry I don’t have anything more informative to say.
So it's january and I'm already thinking about, covid willing, bikini season. I've fallen in love with Comexim's veracruz bikini! I'm not sure how I should order it though. My comexim alterations are usually made in 60K, use smaller wires, overlapping gore, 3x4 clasp and straps moved in. However, I have no idea what to do with a swimsuit. I ... have so many questions! Please help me!
1. Should I go up a band since there aren't any hooks and eyes?
2. Are the bands of stretchier than their bras?
3. Do I want a "cleavage fit" or a "true fit" in a bathing suit?
4. Should I request the briefs to be less "cheeky" so I don't get a wedgie?

I have one Comexim bikini top. I purchased without any alterations. The band was a size too big, I ended up just taking it in myself (I sew) since it was an easy fix. The wires were actually narrower than my bras of the same size. Again it was a quick fix by bending them out a tad. The cup fit me perfect after that. I get good uplift with it, but don’t fall out of the cups when I’m bending over. Since the fit issues were an easy fix I didn’t waste time trying to exchange. I happened to need it ASAP at the time of purchase.
Thank you! I think I'll stick with my regular size and hope the band isn't too loose, if it is, I'll google on how to take it in. I sew too, so it shouldn't be that hard.
Maybe do try contacting them like it says, either they could direct you to a seller or maybe send it by paying through bank transfer etc. I think many years ago that's what people did with ewa michalak, they basically ordered through email and paid like that.
I'd also be interested tbh.
There is a German store on ebay called weiss fashion they sell nessa but not sure of they ship to the US. I ordered from them once and it was great at least but im ofc in an "adjacent" country
alidieux thanks for the suggestion about Weiss fashion, unfortunately they don’t appear to be available to US customers unless I just suck at searching haha.
