mine look EXACTLY like the conical breast shape!
it says that it's unusual in larger cup sizes, no wonder it was so hard to find bras, especially unpadded ones.

Oh, i always wondered what people meant when they said "Omega shape" - thats me lol
the fit suggestions are a nice touch. i would never have considered a "minimizer" for me, but they rarely come in my small size.
i wonder if that really is true for the omega shape (not wearing a bra/right size)? for that to happen, i would think it's more hereditary??

These were made and sold out before I even had heard of Ewa Michalak, so I missed them. I really really want them though, especially the Gazeta (I love book themed stuff). I'll take the the Gazeta and the Prohibicja in either the CHP or the S style. 65DD, 65E, 65F, 70DD, and 70E would all work. Matching panties would ... be an excellent bonus!
If you have other sizes, let me know. I can look into the measurements to see if they would work.

So, now the red rose floris, the only one I dont have of the 4 on amazon, is down to $25. Sigh. I dont need any more bras. But . . . thats a great price. If i end up buying ANYTHING else, I think that might come alone for the ride. If, of course, its still there. yes, i'd rather sigh about it than buy it - cuz i have enuf bras. but.

Bras don't go bad. You could just put it up in storage to be used once a current bra gives upthe ghost. Just sayin. It would be economical! They don't often go on sale do they?

so after a hour or so of measuring all my new fitting bras it seems that i most definitely need: 5.5" width and 8" deep cups.
is that typical of a 32D, or 32DD?
does that mean i am wide and shallow for my size?

Not an expert here, but from your measurements, I don't know if I would consider you shallow. I'm a 32DD/30E and my best fitting bras are 8.5-9" deep and I have average projection. You might get a better idea checking out the reviews of the bras that fit you best. I think if you were shallow, you wouldn't need cups that were that deep. Do you know if you have tall, average or short roots? That would help, too.
i think i have wide/average, they start on my sides, in the middle of my armpit.
but the width is pretty wide right? how wide do you need your cups?

so i've noticed from all the measurements here that EM bands run tight. So if I need a 32 band, should I consider getting a 34?

They are not consistent. I wear a 32 band. I bought two 70s at the same time (labeled as 32) and one fits, one needs an extender. I mean, i've been wearing it (lightly) for 2 months and i dont see the extender going anywhere.
sometimes the page says 'this band runs tight'. But on my 'tight' one, it doesnt say. You can also email and ask if the band on a specific bra runs tight or not, and they might answer. (Mine I was told 'oh, that is supposed to say it runs tight' - but it sitll doesnt).
So not consistent.... I have tried an 80GG SM that I need a full extender on, two 80GG CHP that are fine, and two 85 S' that fit like 80s. I think I needed an extender with an 80 PL. It also depends on the model. Read the bratabase reviews, and if Ewa says that the fabric runs tight, get the bigger band size.

I think Italy is a bra desert if you're not one of four sizes they have. However, you're in Rome! I'm totally envious here, except this time of year is too hot for me to be in Italy.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a soft cup non wired sports bra that does a decent job of separating/encapsulating instead of just compressing? Are there any out there?I'm just looking for a comfortable around the house bra. I'm around a 32G/GG.

Anita sport bras might work for you in a 32H (run small).
you could also look at decent exposures unbra. I've worn them for decades, but now that i've gotten in to 'real' bras, I still wear them on days I'm not leaving the house. they literally come in all sizes - they will customize them for you. not necessarily cheap.

I still wont have an answer, but this kind of questoin depends almost entirely on size range. we taking 28D? 42J? 34G?
28G/30FF. So far Freya Deco strapless, Cleo Neve/Koko, & Parfait Jeanie strapless are all too shallow. Neve is the biggest offender. I have the last 2 still but only because I haven't heard of anything better. Haven't bothered with Panache Porcelain or Evie. The pictures look bad enough.

I don't know if this is just me, but I've been having some issues recently with my old 32G - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) and my 32G - Cleo » Lily Balconnet Bra (7351).
When I bought them they both fit very well, but I'm more than a year in with them and they ... are starting to gape at the top. I'm wondering if this is because they're old and stretched out (they've gotten a lot of use) or whether my shape has changed due to putting on muscle in that area and they won't work period.
The set of measurements up are after I started noticing changes in fit, but the measurements aren't very different from the last set, so I don't think that's the problem.
Does anyone have any insight or a similar problem?

I was starting to wonder how long bras really last. I'm 32J and very, very soft, so I need a lot of serious support and projection. My 8 mo old Floris is so comfortable I almost forget I'm wearing it, but it does not hold me as high as the new ones .. .
are the gaps noticeable through clothing? and i'm sure changing the distribution of fat and muscle can change the way a bra would fit. I've seen a few ppl mention that, after gaining or losing cup sizes, their old favorites no longer worked for them
It depends on which clothing I'm wearing. If I have a looser t-shirt or a similar looser style it isn't obvious, but anything tighter than that and it starts to become obvious. I may have to play around with a smaller cup and a shorter band to see if it is a shape incompatibility or just a size one, just an hesitant to spend a bunch of money just to have to return it.
so what kind of breast shape does one horizontal seamed bra work for? i just can't figure it out.... they look so cute, but look horrible on me.

The horizontal seam is often seen on wired and nonwired bras patterned after vintage (pre-1970s) designs, which maximized projection and created a distinct point at the apex of the cup. If you have naturally very projected, perhaps even somewhat conical breasts then this shape will match your anatomy very well; women with shallower or rounder breast shapes that just can't "make a point" actually used to use conical pads to fill out the ends of their pointy cup bras!
However, even if it fits you perfectly, if you are a typical modern young lady and consider pointy boobs to be a horrible look, you probably won't like the appearance of this type of bra on you.
my breast are shallow and conical. but these shaped bras smash my breast in a "sandwich" flat on top and bottom shape. it's very odd.
i thought that they would work great on me since they in theory are my shape...

I'm going on vacation tomorrow and the bra will arrive at my house the day after I come back from vacation. Since I had such good luck with the Cleo Neve Strapless in 30D, I'm hoping the Cleo Koko Icon in 30D will be just as awesome. Hopefully it will be a tad less shallow too.

So lately I've noticed that ALL of my Decos gape slightly on top.
The Charm and Vibe are the best shape, and after using the racerback clip, the gap disappears. However, with the Honey, it has no racerback clip and I don't even think that'd help with the shape.
Has anyone else experienced this?
The Charm looked fine when I tried it ... out at Nordstrom rack however many months ago, without the back hook.
I don't know if I'm just losing boob or if this is just a common issue with the Decos?
I'm definitely keeping them all, I just feel a little weird wearing them for much else but appearance now :/

Freya re-designed the Deco with the hopes of eliminating the gaping that a lot of people reported having. The Charm and Vibe are apart of the new re-design, and the top of the cups have different outer stitching.

I'm a little disappointed in the Natori Yogi bra I just got in the mail. It had mixed reviews with some people saying with wasn't supportive and others saying it was amazing for running. This was mostly in the larger sizes so I thought I'd give it a go anyway since it was $12 NWT on ebay and a cute ... color too. I had to get my sister size of 32C since it doesn't come in a 30 and seemed to run tight in the band anyway. Sadly it looks like it's just a (kind of cheap looking) regular bra with a piece of fabric over it and I think it's actually less supportive than my favorite compression bra. I'll have to see how it is in use, but I'll have to wait until my vicious sunburn heals first.
