• I'm in a similar boat (as if everyone didn't already know - spending too much time on the site :p) with my vacation on July 11th and I'm already worried about getting things in time. So I'd say order as soon as you possibly can. Sometimes things go smoothly and arrive quickly, sometimes things come up and cause delays and it's always better to be safe than sorry!

  As for the Butterfly and Mint; to me, they aren't different enough, but I don't have room to talk because this is coming from someone who buys everything in shades of beige or red... or floral. If you love them both and can't decide on something else to replace one with, what's the harm? :D /enabling!

Emergency help needed for mom! 34-36 E & F maybe

I posted this on ABTF too but looking for all the advice I can get. Mom and I are in Chicago. Next stop is Intimacg to try out the UK brands. She measures 34 UB and 42" OB, don't have a tape measure to do the rest. She's very pendulous & very FOB, with very soft squishy tissue. So far ... at Nordstroms, the only thing close to a fit was a Chantelle Depuis in a 34DDD. Gore was soooo close to tacking.

She needs a lot of immediate projection. I couldnt find anything that didn't gap somewhat at the top. Intimacy supposedly carries Fantasie & Elomi. I've been bravangelizing mom for months but she's harder than I thought she'd be. Have yet to find a gore that tacks, and I know that's usually due to too small of cups but her tissue is SO soft too. And if we went up a cup size, the empty space at the top of the cups was ridiculous. I'm not her size or shape so I know what works for me won't for her.

Some 34 bands we tried were too tight. So considering 36s as well. What should I look for her next? She's trusting me & not the crappy fitters at previous boutiques who've put her in a 38C. We may go to Intimacy tonight but most likely tomorrow. TIA!

• She should probably be trying bras in the 34F/FF/G/36E/F/FF area if her measurements are 34/42. Is she scooping and swooping when trying on bras? Too-small cups would lead to too-tight bands.

  Elomi might work well for her - Caitlyn, Rita, and Etta all would potentially work. Panache Envy would well accommodate her projection and FoB shape.

  Also, if you head out into the suburbs at all, it'd probably be worth checking out Tina's Closet. They're pretty good.

• Yes I'm making sure she's scooping & swooping, even if it means helping her do it. Making sure those wires are up in the IMF!

Wellfitting and Comexim Longlines

The other day I had asked if anyone knew whether Wellfitting had stock in the states of the Comexim bras they sell. I think because they only sell a few styles on their site, I imagined they had some here but it was suspected that they order everything from Poland. Because it wasn't 100% certain, I emailed them to ask ... and they told me they do indeed order everything from overseas.
Just I thought I would share that info here in case anyone else was wondering.

Also, I didn't think to at the time of my initial email, but in my reply (and also in an email to Comexim, directly), I asked whether they can make the half cup longlines into plunge longlines and/or make regular plunges into longlines. With all the customizations they do, they might be able to but I'll know for certain soon and will share what I hear.

ETA: I just got a response from Comexim. All that was said is that they ship to the states and to order through their online store and "append these comments". I assume by that they mean to put the alterations in the comment box. I wish they would have given a direct yes or no to the longline question, but perhaps the lack of answer means it's to be assumed that they will do it. I did write in Polish and English, so I don't think it was lost in translation.
If Wellfitting says something to the contrary, I'll report back.

• Ugh. This mentality is why none of my pants fit right... "women who wear size 2 don't have curves." Grrr.

• Good lord, this is kind of like trying to buy clothing based on my height - 5'1.5" - petites. If it wasn't for my broad shoulders, boobs, hips, and small waist it might work. Alterations anyone? :P

  You should reply "NO it DOESN'T help. I'd send a picture so you'd see that curves come in all kinds of shapes and sizes but I've already determined you're not the right fit for my dollars as a company."

• Please don't forget to put these notes also on the review for your bras.
  A quicker way to do it is selecting your bra from the adventure category field and just write it. It will be added as your bra review automatically.

• If you take in the gore while keeping the angle of the cups the same (so you would have to overlap the top part too) then it shouldn't change the way the cups fit.

Going Polish, listings, and babble

So I noticed my roots seeming narrower lately, which I posted about in my tissue migration adventure. I really was skeptical on the whole tissue migration thing, but decided to remeasure, and much to my surprise my leaning over measurement (a la ABTF) has gone up 2" from 36 to 38. My horizontal perimeter seems to hover around ... 11" instead of the 10" I measured previously, but I never know if I'm doing that one right or not because I'm still unsure of where my root actually is on the side. And it's all still so confusing because my current best fitting bra is my Lulu Tout, with a cup width of 5.4" and depth of 9", unless I'm just not measuring that depth properly. And my Lucy with a cup depth of 10.2" still wrinkles on the sides, top, and somewhat at the apex, leading me to believe it's slightly too deep for me, and my Bardot is 5.4" wide and 10" deep and wrinkles at the apex but closes off too quickly on top on my bigger breast.

At any rate, I've listed quite a bit of my current collection, including my 28G Freya Instinct, 30F Masquerade Alice and 30FF Masquerade Celene. Most likely I will list my 28G Lucy, and even though I want to love it, probably my 28G Liliana as well - it's just so wide.... and that 30E Fantasie Rebecca Nouveau is still up for grabs (someonepleasebuythisthankyouverymuch).

I have a 28G Deco Shape on the way, which will probably be too small and returned or relisted but we'll see. My 28G Hatty still seems to stay in place, even though I know the molded cup is probably masking the width being a bit too wide and the bottom of the cup possibly too shallow. Also am waiting on a 30F Cleo Lily - should be a good cup width, potentially the band will be too loose but no 28s seem to exist anywhere anymore. Went for an F instead of my usual sister size of FF because of my wrinkling issues with my Lucy but sometimes I feel like I have no clue what I'm doing.

I still don't own a bra I don't have to re-adjust more than I'd like, except for that Lulu Tout. I'm re-thinking everything I thought I'd figured out, suspecting I really have more projection than I initially thought I did, and feeling like I'm so much money into this and have done so many returns, exchanges, and relisting it's getting exhausting and not sure what else I can afford to try. But I decided to go for a Comexim Juliette on eBay, mostly because I was surprised to see a Comexim listed that was remotely in my size range. So I'm totally guessing on my Comexim size, it's a 60K with no alterations. There's only 2 entries on BTB, one measuring 5.0" wide and one measuring 5.3" wide. I'm a little worried about cup height, and still unsure my roots could possibly be that narrow, but I guess I'll find out. There's a reduced cup 60K Arabella listed on here but haven't gotten a reply from the user, so someone tell me - how tall are standard Comexim cups? Am I setting myself up for armpit murder or massive gapping at the top? I still think I have somewhat short roots.

• There is something magical about Lulu Tout bras. I think the combination of flexible wires and a firm band givs great support and an almost customized fit.

• Agreed. On paper, this bra should not fit me, at all. But somehow it does. I actually don't find the wires as flexible as Freyas, but definitely not as stiff as Panache's. And I love that they're U shaped, not swish-shaped like Freyas.

• Which Maddie did you try exactly?

  The continuity style Maddie (black, beige, solid colors) is known to be rather prone to gaping, unfortunately - unless somebody is full on top.

  The 'fashion' print version (animal print, Maddie Pop, Maddie Spot, Cleo Karen etc.) usually fits a lot better on those who don't have much upper fulness.

  This is simply because the cup rim is different in both versions. The solid version is VERY open on top. In the 'fashion' version, it is curved inwards slightly, and therefore creates a smoother, rounder look.

  I recommend trying the printed versions for those who have shallow boobs and experience gaping issues with the solid version.

• personally I feel like they run a bit wider and shallower but I haven't tried too many of their styles. I like a number of their designs though to look at

• I'd say medium to wide wires, not particularly deep or shallow overall, but the ones I tried were shallow at the center (near the gore). Glad you found your go-to brand!

• The recommendations you're seeing are only slightly changed, they're getting side effects from the real changes that I should hopefully get out next week.

• I have a 34DD that isnt going anywhere and has been listed cheap forever. I think they are honestly garbage, old bras, unless they are an unusual size or seriously popular brand.

• Have you tried wearing it around the house to see if it needed any major hoisting or adjusting throughout the day? As far as I know, these hand shapes don't need to warm up or anything. The design relies on strategic padding in the shape of hands that are supposed to push your boobs "in and up".

  The bra does sit lower than a conventional bra. When you can, submit a fit request so we can see what's going on with the bottom of your bra :)

• Gemmy i just got it the other day so I haven't done anything other than try it on but I'll defibitely wear it around a little to see. And yah, I'll post a fit request soon, works been crazy :-P

• I think wire flexibility would also be a consideration on how a bra fits. Are the wires in the saint tropez bra more flexible than the pixie?

• ^You´re so right! The Saint Tropez wires actually are quite flexible, it must be the main reason why it fits so well and comfortably.

• The Mint Sorbet and the Green Velvet are out of production. Whatever isn't on their site is discontinued.

• Now, you can order directly from their site! You can also send an email to Anna, who runs their shop, but I highly suggest placing the order online, as it's easiest and most efficient (and also the cheapest option, as you're ordering direct from them). You can also order through Erica on Sophisticated Pair, the ladies at Wellfitting (even if it's not on their site, they can send the order onto Comexim and handle it all for you -- but for a price!), or through the odd website, like Zathiya.

  As Alex_ah said, whatever is shown on their site is what is available and in production now. You might find some of their older designs (Green Velvet, etc) floating around on here or eBay or other various sites, but you won't be able to buy those models no longer in production via Comexim directly. Some of their older models (Butterfly) show on their site, but their stock is limited, so they won't have every size available. Likely, if it's older, they would have run out of fabric and can't special make one in your size. Just a heads up! My advice is, if you see something you like readily available in your size, swoop it up ASAP, because you never know how long it'll be available, and how much fabric they have to make it.

  As for sizing, Basic runs about a cup size small, so keep that in mind when ordering their other padded plunges. I highly suggest starting at 65J for their plunges other than Basic. As for swimsuits, I don't have experience with them, but I have heard their sizing is wonky, so try to do as much research as you can on their tops before ordering (or ask around here!).

  tl;dr -- ORDER ALL THE COMEXIM!

• On the shipping information page http://www.onlyher.eu/docs/34 it says they only ship to Germany and Austria, but they can ship to other countries by "prior arrangement". Not sure what that means. There's a contact email at the bottom of the page, maybe you could try writing to them with Google Translate? I know how you feel, I've been lusting after the SugarShape basic bra for a while but they don't ship outside Germany/Austria either.

• As annoying as it can be to be confined to Polish, i wouldnt have it any other way! They are so much more comfortable and a better fit than ANY UK brand bra has ever been for me! Its definitely a pain to have to wait foreverrrrrrr. Especially when packages go missing or sit at customs for weeks/months on end. And it is utterly heartbreaking when after its all over they dont even fit. But the joy my boobies feel when they do fit makes up for it all! :D

Looking for 65J/70HH Comexim

I've already posted elsewhere, but as my vacation on July 11th is only getting closer, I'm running out of time to get a bathing suit top from Comexim and I still need to figure out what cup size to get. I would order directly but I know shipping/manufacturing times can vary widely/take forever and I don't have the time to ... wait for bras to figure out sizing from Poland. Hoping to find someone in the states that has one so I can save some time and customs room for the things I want to order instead of buying a bunch of sizes.
I've thought about Wellfitting but does anyone know if they have bras located in the states or does everything come from Poland? If they have to ship everything from Poland, I'll skip them all together and just order directly from Comexim. The other option I was considering was asking Erica at A Sophisticated Pair, but I don't feel right buying and then returning a bra from her and not buying the final product through her afterwards.

If anyone has a 65J or 70HH, with or without reduced cups they want to sell, I'll buy it from you! I would even be open to paying for shipping both ways (within the states) if I could borrow one, though I don't blame anyone for not wanting to trust their bra with a stranger on the internet.

• Contact Wellfitting and ask if they have stock available. Mostly, I'm pretty sure they put the order in to Poland and the wait time is the same. Erica does this too about once a month, though I would contact her to make sure she doesn't have any current stock. Right now, shipping from Poland seems to be around 2 weeks, so I'd go ahead and risk it straight from Comexim if it were me, but maybe buy the top in 2 sizes. :/

• Contact Erica from Sophisticated Pair, and see if she has any Comexim available. She may only have Anna Pardal, but it's worth a try (edit: sorry! just saw you already mentioned contacting her).

  Also try braconfidence.ca for available stock. They're in Canada, but shipping is super quick.
