Recommendations for a sports bra with light to moderate support! Typically I’m about 30F. I have a shock absorber that’s relatively heavy duty but I don’t find it comfortable. I’m projected, heavy, close set and narrow if it makes a difference

I don't know how any of you feels about this ,but, I'm kind of bummed. No more Nordstrom! About the only place you could buy a bra in person that sold brands like Chantelle , @Wacoal, panache, @Elomi and Freya. Now there is no where( at least in my area) to buy bras and not have to order from off the internet unless you buy @Vanity Fair, @Bali, Olga ,@Maidenform all which I think kind of suck. Only my opinion.

Oh no! I know how you feel. The two Nordstrom locations near me closed a few years back. Are there any Nordstrom Rack in your area? Those still seem to be around, and they carry odd bra sizes at a discount. Last time I picked up a few at $13 a piece.
Edit to add: Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack have great online ordering and fabulous customer services and easy online returns. I know it’s not ideal, but in a pinch it’s better than nothing.
Yes , I know of on e Nordstrom Rack the next town over except I heard they'll be closing too! Now all that's left in my local mall is Macys and JCPenny, and Sears. All which only sell @ Playtex and@ Vanity Fair , @MaidenForm ect. Not the best brands !

Has anyone else not gotten their Valentine’s Day order? I know that the current climate has thrown mail up in the air, especially international, but I’m still waiting for my order. It shipped at the beginning of March. I’m wondering how much longer I will have to wait and just curious if anyone else is still waiting. I want my order. 😩

How are they sending it? Is there a tracking number? Is there a way to contact Comexim for more info? I ordered from Ewa Michalak on 3/17/20 and got my order by the middle of April. That seems like an awful long time, even with everything going on. I hope you can track them down soon.
Tracking only tracks within Poland. I know some have said it took two months to get theirs. I could try emailing Joanna but I don’t know if she’s going to have more information about it.

About 10 days ago I sent my Victoria 2HC back to Comexim. This Sunday I got their email. It said that I should send a scanned pdf of the receipt for my payments. But I haven't got any receipts that were printed on the paper since I received my order. So I sent an email of my order history ... to them.
Yesterday morning I sent an other email to confirm if I can get my money back or not. But until today's evening I haven't got any reply yet.
Are there anyone with similar experiences, what should I do then?

When Comexim mails bras they mail along a small receipt along with the purchase. It's not very big (like 5 inches by 3 inches). Can you check the box it came in or the plastic wrapping to see if you still have it? Do you have an account on Comexim's website that tracks your purchases? If so, can they use that as verification of your purchase?

I was wondering if I am the only one who feels the need to slightly "bend" the underwires...It feels a bit sacrilegious
I'm a 28 ribcage, and I don't have any squish where the band and underwire sit. There are some underwire bras that get really uncomfortable because they push against my ribcage ... in a specific point, a bit more to the outer side, after the lowest point of the underwire. I feel the need to bend it slightly, so that instead of siting flat on a ribcage that is somewhat curving, it surrounds it. It usually works...but is this advisable? Should I be looking for bras with different characteristics?

I have the same measurements with bony ribs. I have found that bending the wires does help but it never transfers an uncomfortable bra into a comfortable bra - just a bra with less discomfort!
I have found two reasons, relating to the wires, for a bra to feel uncomfortable. One is the cup width has to be a good fit to start with or bending does not help a whole lot. Once I have a suitable cup width and the bra is still uncomfortable I have found that the wires tend to be stiffer than what my ribs can tolerate. In this situation, I replace the wires with more flexible wires from an old bra. Voila! A comfortable bra.
I do have a very pretty bra in my stock pile where I know that the cup width is too much - purchased before I got savvy about what I needed for a good fit. I am going to try it with a narrower wire to see if I can get a good fit and salvage a bra that I cannot wear as is.

It's not sacreligious at all, in my opinion! Do whatever you need to in order to make an almost-fitting bra into one that fits and is comfortable for you personally. I bend my wires all the time.

So as you can see from the reviews below my Comexim order from Breakout Bras arrived!!! Unfortunately they didn't fit :/ The plunge gore doesn't sit right and cups squish me even with straps loosened up. The half cup was a hysterical fail.
So maybe I need a little sizing help due to the difference between Ewa Michalak and Comexim. ... So my current bra is a CHP in 28GG that I've had for roughly 2.5 years and been my daily wear for probably 1.5 years. I ordered what I thought would fit 28GG/30G but clearly they didn't. I updated my measurements on here and that recommends 30F-30FF which clearly won't fit either. My measurements according to BoobOrBust is 28HH/J as I measure 28/29 band 39.5/40.5 bust. According to ABraThatFits I need a 30GG/H

Currently I’m 27.5” under bust and 38” over bust and in a 30GG in both Comexim and EM.
I definitely think you need a bigger cup size for sure. Try measuring your favorite bra to see what it comes out and then compare to Comexim and EM sizing? I recently purchased two new EM’s in a 30G, thinking I was more in between sizes because of how my old EM fit. I didn’t take into consideration that I had stretched out the cup of the bra. Hopefully you can get them in the size that suits you best.
I'll try measuring my EM CHP as it is the only fitting bra I currently have and I hadn't thought about the fact that over the 1.5 years I've probably stretched it out a bit. I tried the calculator link and its showing 30H so definitely need to go up a cup or two.
Also looked on Breakout Bras to see if they had these two in bigger sizes but they are only showing one panties which is slightly concerning but hopefully they are just updating inventory.

I'm really happy with these shirts! Of course they're kind of wrinkly since I just got them today, but I think they fit really well. The arms on the long-sleeved shirt are a bit big for ... me, though--both around and length-wise. The around factor of that is kind of surprizing/encouraging since I have decently flabby arms and have had problems with shirts constricting them before. As for the length, I'm 5'1, so the arms probably won't bother you if you're taller. However! Given that I am so short and these shirts sit pretty well on me, if you're much taller, I'd say these shirts might be too short for you. Also, yay, no button gaping at all (not on my boobs or stomach)!
I got both of these shirts in a size 8 and measure a 37.5 inch bust in an unpadded bra, 28 inch waist, and 38.5 inch hips. The size chart says that a size 8 will fit someone with a 36-38 inch bust, 28-30 inch waist, and 38-40 inch hips, so take how these shirts fit on me as you will. I got the long-sleeved shirt in 100% cotton and the short-sleeve in 95% cotton 5% spandex, and I have to say, while I like the feel of the material on the short-sleeve better, I like the way the long-sleeve fits more. I feel as if I maybe could have even gotten a 6 in the short-sleeve shirt. Even though I like the material of the short-sleeve better, the long-sleeve is still a nice quality. It's not scratchy and is decently breathable. The fabric on both is a bit see-through, though not enough to be distracting in my opinion. You can see the black pants I'm wearing under the shirts a bit, as well as the black bra I'm wearing in one of the pictures, however.
I'm usually a 30H, obviously, and I feel as though a fairly large range of people could find a size that fits them well in Exclusively Kristen. There's definitely more space available for my boobs when I'm in an unpadded bra, and even in a padded bra, I feel as if you could maybe add on half an inch or even an inch to my bust before the shirt would start to gape. Additionally, if my boobs were smaller, I could probably fit into a size 6, sinch the sizes do overlap a bit. I feel as though, for hourglass-shaped people like me, Exclusively Kristen shirts could probably fit anyone from maybe an F cup to a J cup, being very generous (of course, assuming you also fall into their 4/6-20 sizing).

So after having and wearing the same bra for almost 2.5 years (yikes well had for 2.5 years maybe daily wear for about 2 years) I desperately need to buy some new bras. I've given up on Ewa doing anything new for CHP styles as she seems to be focused on Unlined which don't work for me. So going to ... try Comexim again had several bras in the past and LOVED THEM! Just saw Happy2BraShop post about her new bra (love that pattern) so I went looking at Breakout Bras website and found several I like but I have a question.
Do the bras come with cookie pockets? I have inserts so that isn't an issue but definitely need a little boost. I'm sure to get any other changes I'd have to order direct (like lower cup and straps moved in) but it's been so long since I've worn Comexim I need to find my size and figure out what changes I may or may not need now.

Comexims don't have cookie pockets to the best of my knowledge (I think I've gotten like three or four padded comexims over the years?).
Glad my review was helpful for you. Yeah, all the ones I have that came from Breakout Bras don’t have any cookie pockets. You could always email Breakout Bras and ask if they can order some with customization. Never hurts to ask. Last time I emailed them it took a few days for them to reply, but she was super nice.
Currently for me, I’m kind of in between cup sizes, G/GG with Ewa Michalak. I currently go for the G cup. Mainly because if I size up to a GG I’m afraid the straps will really irritate my armpits. They’re already a bit wide for me. Nothing worse than an uncomfortable bra. In the padded plunge style from Comexim I’m a solid 30GG/65J. For me personally I find Comexim padded bras way more comfortable since the straps aren’t in my armpits like Ewa Michalak.
One thing about Breakout Bras, is I love that you collect points with your purchases. So then you can redeem them for coupon codes. With my last point redemption I basically got $20 off, so I got the matching panties. Great customer service.

I'm looking for recommendations for a good soft bra/bralette. Im a 32 bandsize, with non self-supporting, close set breasts, and regardless of my measurements an 8 or 9 would probably be good. I've never found a bra that has big enough cups that doesn't dig into my armpit, so now I'm turning my focus to something soft while ... i figure out the rest. I would love something with some support, that either separates my breasts, or at least doesn't squish them together. And something i can bend over in without my boobs falling out the top. I've seriously considered trying to make my own, but lack any actual sewing/construction skills. My favorite current bralette is some cheap thing from forever 21 years and years ago, and i like it because when i move around it moves with me, so I'm always covered, instead of my boobs moving and slipping within it (or out of it). It offers about 2% support though, which I'd love to improve. Bonus points if it's cute. =)

I have the Curvy Kate Unwind Bralette (CK011110) it's a decent one, also the Bravissimo Zara Bralette is very popular here. They are bra sized so they are also more expensive than a non-bra sized one from a chain store.

I have projected, FOB center-full breasts & short roots, and I'm having a hard time finding bras with more supportive cups that work for my shape.
I've just tried the 30G - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) and the 30G - Freya » Fearne Plunge Balcony Bra (4091) .
I think the Deco was too ... tall & shallow (empty space on top and bottom of the cups). The Fearne fits really well, the straps are a bit too far apart for my sloping shoulders but it's not really an issue.
I find that unlined bras leave me looking a bit pointy though, I'd prefer something with a bit more support/roundness in the cups.
Plunges work best for me but I'm open to suggestions!
I'm still fairly new to knowing my size/shape so the Fearne is currently the only bra I own that fits

Have you tried any polish brands? I will recommend Comexim if you have center full breasts (especially the original 3HCs and plunges, they are less shallow). I've also heard that the Bravissimo Satin plunges will be good for FoB shapes.
Sounds like we are a similar size and shape. Definitely try Polish bras like Ewa Michalak and Comexim. You can find some second hand here on Bratabase.

I'm still waiting for the shipping, I ordered a Victoria 2HC on March 6th.
My facebook feed is full of women wondering how they'll ever get used to having to wear bras and pants again after this. But . . i'm still wearing bras. I love my bras! I wear my decent exposures sometimes, but its too old and not offering any support -i need to buy a new one - so I am still mostly wearing my wired bras.

I’ve been wearing bras still. I live in a two story home, so I go up and down all day long. Lol it’s not comfortable with my boobs flopping around all day haha. Also, my toddler does Zoom meetings for her speech therapy, and my teenager does Zoom meetings with her teacher in the morning. So I try to look presentable.
I wear my bras still and they’re not even comfortable ^_^ I haven’t found the perfect ones yet. Mine are really droopy so I tend to get back pain when I don’t wear a bra. I just found some decent ones I can use until I find something better, which has made me really happy. I really can’t see big boob girls just waltzing around without bras, the girls usually get in your way XD

—The Freya Summer Haze Longline (3994) and Freya Summer Haze Padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (3993) fits like a dream. I’m going to try sister sizing down to 30FF since I can already fasten the band on the middle hook on ... these. Clearly, vertical seams are my best friend.
—Cleo Lexi Moulded Balconnet T-shirt Bra (9421) also fits wonderfully in 32F!
—Freya Idol Moulded Balcony Bra (1050) cups are too tall/full coverage. Lots of empty space at the top
—Curvy Kate Victory Balcony (9001) : Oof, this was such an awkward fit. Somehow the top and bottom of the cup were both wrinkled. My first experience with orange in a glass?
—@Fantasie Frances (6852): Pointy shape, and the top part of the cup was empty. Totally wrong for my shape, would probably work for someone more even or FOT. The band was also on the large side- had to use the middle hook. If I try @Fantasie again, I'll go down to 30F.

I moved to the UK for 4 months, took a break from trying to find a bra that worked for me for a while, and reverted back to soft-cup sports bras and shelf-bra tank tops. I did get a lovely fitting at Bravissimo though, the data from which I’ll eventually have to enter, and I can’t recommend them enough. So ... kind and informative!
On a friend’s good recommendation, I decided to order myself TomboyX’s ruched bralette in XS, S, and M sizes and see what works. They’ve got a good return/exchange policy I’m told, so I figure it’s a low-risk. Has anyone had any experience with their bras/bralettes before?

What do you find uncomfortable in your Shock Absorber bra? Band, cups, strap, wires?
It’s wireless, just mostly it causing me cramping in my shoulders after I wear it for awhile and the middle of my back gets sore. The band is really snug though even though I sized up in it.
