Has anyone tried using a caliper to take measurements? I'm curious if it helps with recommended shape/cut determination. Obviously there's nothing (almost nothing?) you could measure with a caliper that you couldn't measure with a tape measure, but I'm feeling lazy and don't want to do comparisons if someone else has already tried it, lol

I just used this feature yesterday and LOVE IT. I had about 7 bras to add and rather than uploading 7 separate entries, I found it incredibly convenient to have everything laid out on one page to be submitted once. Little things really do make a difference ...
On a side note, I noticed when I was using this new feature how easy it was to compare measurements on the bras I was measuring. I know we already have a feature to "Compare this bra" with another bra, but there's something very visually appealing about seeing numbers in a straight row or column and being able to see how the numbers differ for one measurement across all selected bras. I think the current way of comparing bras is much prettier, but for some reason, my brain likes a simple layout with just numbers and figures to digest. Nevertheless, I'm digging these little improvements to the site that sometimes go under the radar (or maybe just my radar).

This is news to me because I currently rock a 28GG Deco in regular rotation. Apparently, my past self decided to plant a bra for future me to enjoy. Thanks past me! This will give me super bad fit but cleavage FOR DAYS! Woooo! It's like getting a free bra (and free drinks?!?!)

OMG, this! I have 76 bras on my account. I love it, but that's a lot of bras and a lot of money.

I sort of feel this is in my future too, although my current bra collection has not yet reached the double digits. Every time I think I have all the bras I want I keep finding new interesting and pretty things I want to try out next.... dangerous!

Added some bras this evening, but for the last one the pics uploader went num. Just chewing on it forever. After losing about 45min on this went to use the old uploader. Nope, none, zilch, niente is happening. So I am back to the new uploader again and retrying and waiting.... "Wait for it" - haaaaaa! So no pics ... for the Fauve bra now. I just hate it when this happens. Such a shame. I was really hoping that with the new uploader I won't need to first upload to my computer from my phone and then upload once more to the site. Not a happy bunny here.Grrrrrrrrr

Bratabase is putting 30 bands in my recommendations when I have a 23 ribcage (measured tightly), when I measure so loosely the tape is nearly falling of my measurement doesn't even come close to 30 inches.

It goes partially off of what you say fits you. You have marked two 32DD bras as fitting you so it's likely averaging that with your actual measurements. When you say something fits, it's going to assume that it does in fact fit and give recomendations based pn that.

On Bratabase we can all see how many bras we have vs how many actually fit. My 'Fit Ratio' is 2.5. That is to say, I have to buy 2.5 bras for every 1 that fits me. I feel glad that I have a 40% success rate when it comes to buying bras. What is your bra ratio and how do you feel about this?

My profile says 16/35, which seems decent, but it's counting bras that "fit" back when my size was different and my fit standards were much lower. I'm not sure I've ever actually had a bra that really technically fits. Even my best fitting custom Comexim bras aren't perfect.

So a while ago I added a bra to my collection whose cups are only 5.25" wide. However, this bra's wires are extremely flexible. It was a total surprise to me. When I put on the bra, the wires stretched so much that the cups were like 6" wide. When I took off the bra, the wires went immediately back ... to being their regular width and the cups went back to being 5.25" wide. Then, when I stretched the wires with my hands, I found that the wires could stretch even more than I thought they could have and the cups stretched to 7" wide! When I put the bra back down on the table the cupe went back to being 5.25" wide. The bra is just ever so slightly broad wired for me, but only because the wires stretch so much! But the true width of cups are only 5.25". Bratabase wants me to confirm that it is indeed too broad wired for me and the system doesn't take into account that some bras have extremely stretchy wires.

Sometimes my measurement disagree and I get that warning, but I just re-measure and confirm it and . . . whatever. Its just saying that your measurement is different from others, but that doesnt necessarily mean you are wrong. it could be others were wrong or the company has really bad consistency.
When asked to confirm a measurement you can just confirm that that is indeed the real measurement. There's a button to do just that.
It is natural to distrust that a smaller cup can be 7" wide. For most bras it could very well be a mistake. I think it is the right thing to do to ask for confirmation on this entry.
Even after confirming, other people will see the number and say that Bratabase is wrong for listing a bra that size to have such wide wires (and will go out and loud on how we have wrong data), for which I'd recommend providing photo evidence, not to convince the system, but to back your claim to anybody else in the future that will think that a 7" wide wire is wrong.
After all, I'd recommend putting the measurement at rest. Many bras stretch when wearing, this amount is definitely not normal but in all others where there is some bending, the measurements entered are always at rest. Mention in your review that it can stretch to 7" so others can be aware.
I'm trying to add measurements to my bras and I keep getting the error message "This band seems wrong for a band 11" when I try to add the stretched and un-stretched band measurements. Then it tells me to correct it before continuing.

Somehow, every time I mail a bra, it is ALWAYS 6.9 oz before I tape on the shipping label and tape up the box to make sure it is secure. I am always worried that I will go over the 7oz (you have to enter the nearest oz) I paid for and sometimes use less tape than I would have ... liked to because I don't want it to end up being a hassle if the package weighs a bit more than I said it does.
Today I went ahead and entered my 6.9oz package as a 8oz so I can make sure I have plenty of leeway in taping it up!
Has anyone had experience with underpaying for a pre-paid package? I use the USPS since it's closer than FedEx. I've heard that you simply pay the difference there, but I don't want it to be an ordeal and would probably rather overpay at the start if it is a hassle.

Most my stuff has been 6.2oz for example so I round up to 7oz it it was 6.9oz I would probably round up to 8oz. I don't think it makes a big price difference, I've had packages that were an ounce or more apart and cost similar for shipping.
Then again I am new to this whole shipping bras thing, so if anyone else has suggestions I will be following this adventure as well.
Okay, I may be blind, but how do you delete a saved search? (Such as if you mistyped something or that size is no longer one that works for you, so there's no reason to have it saved.)
