I'm unable to click or access my user profile in any way unless I'm doing it wrong somehow....Not sure why, and once I've clicked on new notifications and go to one without right clicking to open in a new window, I can't go back to notifications unless I get a new one again. Heeeeelllp meeeee!

I listed a bra as a giveaway and the recipient is outside the US. I thought that shipping wouldn't be excessive as I recently shipped a bra to New Zealand for 5.13 total through Paypal.
However, Paypal won't let you make an international shipping label unless you have made a transaction with the recipient through Paypal. Going directly through the USPS would be 16.00 (the bra has molded cups).
I've emailed this site, but haven't heard back. Is there a limit to shipping coverage? Do I really need to send my (worn) bra in a box? Thoughts?

Hopefully that link works, but if it doesn't, go to this website and click on it (it's in the first post-I use it all the time {my sister sells items on eBay,and immediately after it's paid for, she marks it as shipped. There are some really in-depth user review oriented sites for makeup. I think I used to read one called Makeup Alley or something like that. Is it not active anymore?
Seriously! i started in to bras as the first step of my own personal 'makeover' . . . because I thought it was one of the parts that needed it the most! But for me, makeup is complicated due to TONs of allergies. I did manage to buy some mascara that is working ok for me

Sorta related to bras, but maybe not. An order from Figleaves was shipped via DHL, but I am completely unfamiliar with their tracking and google seems to give me multiple different answers. My most recent update, from 9pm tonight (though tracking said it was estimated to deliver today), says the shipment is on hold. Further Detail: The shipment has arrived ... at facility and is awaiting the delivery cycle. Next Step: The shipment will be allocated to a courier for delivery of the shipment.
Can anyone translate this for me?
My best guess is this means either DHL or another courier will deliver it soon, hopefully tomorrow. But I'm really not sure at this point. It went from 'with delivery courier' to 'shipment on hold' within the span of 12 hours today.
Please help! I want my bras!

It does kinda sound like maybe it's waiting to be transferred over to USPS for delivery, like what FedEx and UPS do a lot now. I can't remember the last time something was shipped to me via DHL, so I can't be of more help. :(
Kinda funny, I actually have a package coming from Figleaves that was shipped the same day, except I don't have a tracking number cuz I was too cheap, haha... *small tear*
I posted this in a FB group, and someone commented the same thing -- that it'll likely go to USPS to be delivered. Thank the gods, because I have much more faith in USPS than DHL.
Really, it's just that I'm *extremely* inpatient. And already spending $200+, so $25 didn't seem that big a deal. And when my credit card bill comes, I'll be crying too. ;D

No, for safety/privacy reasons there isn't a user search function. If there's a particular user you like reading about or in the same range as you, you can 'follow' them. Next time they post, click their username to get to their profile and select follow. Then to find them again they'll be in your own profile under 'following'.

It is a difficult mix on what should be easily available and what not. Each time I ask myself again what the consequences are of such search, each time it seems innocuous.
Laurizle what is the exact scenario you have? Maybe there are other ways around it we could work on.
You could try Google, searching for " bratabase" sometimes work, since chances are the username text is dropped in adventures or reviews and some of those get indexed.

The common theme on all these features has been link sharing.
* Bigger pictures, you can use that link to share a gallery of your pictures elsewhere.
* Public measurements, you can make your measurements have a URL and share that link anywhere else, should be simpler than having to type each time.
* Recommendations sharing. ... You can also opt to make your recommendations have a public URL that you can paste anywhere on the Internet.
* Pretty much, you can always share links anywhere on the Internet as reference.
Privacy is always considered for all these features. Non logged users cannot see your usernames, but most abled humans are able to create accounts on the site. Privacy remains as safe as before.
New recommendations. I think that's the big one. Let's see how it goes. The core of the engine is the same at its core, but the introduction of index sizes allows the site to do a lot more tricks before presenting them.

Another suggestion: It's possible to publish bra reviews as adventures. Why not make compare reviews between 2 or more bras publishable as well? I wrote a lot of them in the past, but I guess almost no one ever read them. Would be awesome if I could make them public now because after all they're valuable information and I guess quite a bunch of people would be interested.
It all looks really good! Everything is much cleaner and easier to use.
Really looking forward to the future listings changes, too! I wonder what they will be... ;)

I'd like to try a balconnet style bra and am looking for recommendations. I like padded bras (not pushup though). I usually do not wear unlined bras since I don't like my nipples showing through. Any suggestions? (If it helps I'm usually a size 32E (in Freya bras) or a size 34DD or 34D (in Victoria Secret and Betsey Johnson))… I haven't tried any other brands yet, but would like to.

are you asking for what balconnet bras are padded? or what balconnet bras hide better? and size alone isnt as helpful as maybe what bra fits you best - but most ppl here dont really know victoria secret (on purpose lol) anyways, shape matters as much as size
Hmm… good question. I guess I'd like to know which padded balconnet bras people like best. And also which ones come up higher on the cup (if that makes sense). I'm not a huge fan of my VS bras… so I'm hoping to replace them with better fitting ones.
Also, I've never really tried a balconnet but want to see how that shape might look/fit on me. I usually opt for plunge style bras.

I think there is no way, it is because of protecting people´s privacy.
^^ That's correct.
When you do message them, they should get a notification that the are free to ignore, dismiss, mark as spam, or have their email programs classify as spam if they never bothered to white list the site's notifications.

They get added under the normal model and the owner should indicate in the review and the listing description if they did any modifications to it (from manufacturer or by themselves).

Just a small heads up about the bug on the site that caused users that logged in using Reddit have their email address set to blank on the site.
You should see a banner on the home page telling you that you don't have an email set. There's a button that will pop up a window to type it in.
Without ... it you cannot receive any kind of notifications since we don't have where to notify you
The issue is fixed now and I recovered emails from most people, but all those that registered only with Reddit on the last month never had an email so we need one :-/

Intl shipping is also covered, I just ask that we try to keep prices low. There's been cases that just by asking and finding new ways of shipping prices have been cut more than half.
