Did you guys see the new search screen?
It is pretty much the same engine as before, but now the search by measurements is integrated into it. No need to go to use Advanced or the "Even more advanced" searches now. I'll be deprecating those soon.
When using the measurements, you can toggle to the measurements table and apply the same filters ... that you did for the normal search.
Also, it will now resize properly in phones and smaller screens. It still has a few quirks and corners to fix, but I am happy to have a simpler and more powerful search than the different searches we had.

Does anyone else have this issue where the reviews repeat themselves? Whenever looking into a bra, I always read all of the reviews. And I've noticed that *some* of the reviews are repeated. Why does it do that and can it be fixed?
For example: I was looking up Parfait's Kelly bra, and this is how the reviews are:

uhm.... I have seen something like this before.
In a quick look I can see that it is a sorting issue with pages with 0 votes reviews. Reviews with votes get paginated correctly.
I think I've had this on the past, a combination of joining tables (bras x reviews), pagination and sorting. Will take a look tonight.

Last night laurel_leaf gave me some feedback about the issues with the measurements tables. It reminded me that I never revisited them since pretty much the first time I made them. I was never too happy with them.
I went ahead and added repeated headers (every 10 rows) as she suggested, which was very simple and works out ... well. I took the opportunity to add a bit of extra stuff:
* Filter by band or cup to see only numbers for certain sizes
* Show number of bras to know where these numbers come from
* Direct link to list of individual bras
* Toggle to include all entries or only those with data

Every time I order from Bravissimo online, I always have to call my bank and ok the charge because it somehow gets flagged for fraud (I'm guessing because I'm US-based, and Bravissimo is UK). Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas how to circumvent it? I sent them an email, and requested they use PayPal because I can't imagine ... I'm the only one with this issue. I know I'd definitely order from them more often if I didn't have to spend 15 min on the phone with my bank every damn time I order anything, so maybe I should be grateful I have to decide I really, REALLY want something. ;D

I remember having to set up some kind of log in and PIN number with my card on that site from my credit card company. This was a while back, but it was a pain in the butt to remember this extra log/password step. I totally second the PayPal thing.
first, as I mentioned a few weeks ago I bought a longline bra and yes I wanted to be customized. I just wanted only 2 things. multi-straps and thinner straps like 28D size has.

they should've asked me first before make the bra. they should've told me they couldn't make one the way I wanted. but as I said they didn't and they told me a tracking number when I asked. well... I just asked like 10mins ago What they said was they shipped it like a week ago

I had 2 bad experiences with Wellfitting myself and would never use them again or suggest them to anyone else either unfortunately. Im sorry things didnt work out for you! :( They made the bra and THEN told you it wasnt possible to make it how you requested? That is crazy!
Some of you may have seen the page to compare two brands, maybe less of you even used it
Sunday night I added this new option to automatically translate the size from one to another, just type in any size on one on the fields and the other should complete with the matching size.
This uses ... href="/knowledge/index-sizes/" class="mentioned-item">Index sizes to make the conversions, so you will see the disclaimer that cup equivalence does not mean equal fit.
But still, it is a nice tool to share and show people when they ask how sizes translate between brands.

I want to say that I have discovered the wonderful world of bra fitting and I love it. I also want to be able to help women with their bra journey. I see the most common bra mistakes made by women wherever I go like bands riding up, straps falling from the shoulders, quadboobs, and sometimes gores not tacking. ... However, I am a guy so it is difficult for me to to able to talk to women about this. So my question are: where do I start? Does anyone have any ideas that can help.

The owner of the site is a guy - but I think he's smart enough to not give advice unless asked! I mean, if you are involved w a woman, you can probably broach it easier, but even for a woman to bring it up with someone she doesnt know very well is awkward.
There's such a thing as a bad time or the wrong group to try and bravangelize to - even woman to woman/en. It requires developing a sensitivity to what a prospect for conversion to bravangelism is feeling and reading the overall vibe of a group you're trying to bring over to the bravangelism side of well fitted bras.

Last night I added a new experimental feature. To browse the listings instead of just being able to search. At the end the result is the same but how you get there is a bit different.
It basically starts asking you for an index size, then shows you the brands for which there are listings and it works as a shortcut for a search at the end.
What do you guys think?

I just tried it, and 32:13 pretty much returned 32Js, except for a Kris Line 32L which looked like it would be too small.
I did like being able to select by brand, tho.
As always, a proper search or even by measurements is a better idea. This is just a short cut and won't show more results that what is already available.

You may need 32:13 on some brands and maybe 32:15 on Kris Line. It does not solve the brand inconsistency problem, for that measurements are the way to go.

For anybody that had problems uploading pictures in the past or that it was too slow, when you go to add pictures to your bra you will see a button to try the new uploader.
It should feel much than before and not time out. There's now a separate screen to manage your pictures where you can now change the order ... and edit them. This should help you to tell a better story of your bra when sharing your bra's pictures gallery.
Here's a technical post explaining what changed to make it faster.
Send me feedback for the problems you have, I don't have iThings, so it would be good to try on that.

I feel like most of the complaints came from people uploading pictures directly on their phone, rather from a PC - will this help them, too?
I just used it, it's a lot quicker and a nice improvement. I really like that we can change the order of our pictures now too. That's a good feature.

I've spent over a week pondering this post as I hate complaining and I know some worriers here will think that I'm talking about them (when I'm probably not). However, the bra nerd in me won out and I wanted to start a conversation about this.
I don't know if this has anything to do with the site changes a ... while back that allowed people to answer the fit questionnaire on bras with "but it's OK" (think: gore doesn't tack but it's OK, quadboobs but it's OK) or whether it's just due to an increase in popularity, but I feel like I'm seeing an increase in reviews of bras marked as "fitting" the wearer, when the photos show a very obvious fit fail.
I know this has always happened and is not a new thing, because lots of people struggle to figure out what constitutes a good fit especially at first... but I feel like it's happening more often and more obviously, and I'm concerned that this is sort of an issue in terms of the educational mission of this site. I'm not talking about subtle issues like very faint quadboob or slight wrinkling, I'm talking about major, obvious stuff like bands 3 sizes too big, boobs floating around in giant cups or conversely boobs exploding out of cups that barely cover half the volume of the breast, quadboob indents like the Grand Canyon etc. I'm also MOSTLY talking about posters whose bra reviews and posting history suggest that they are already size-enlightened but are choosing a nonstandard fit.
Please note that this is exclusively about how "correct" fit is indicated here on the site. I have no axe to grind in terms of how people actually want to choose/wear their bras even if they are knowingly departing from the intended fit (gore tacking yadda yadda). If you are a 28E fashionista and you choose to buy 34B La Perlas because they're beautiful, I support you 100%. If you have fibro pain 24/7 and need a super loose band, I support you 100%. If you worked your buns off to pay for your augmentation and are determined to wear nothing but VS plunges that you spill out of by a mile because it makes you happy, I support you 100%. If you want to upload a million such photos and review this bra and say "I know this isn't technically an optimal fit but I wear it anyway and I love it because XYZ" then that is fine with me. What's important IMO is that you are making an informed decision and, if you upload the bra to bratabase, you are accurately representing how it fits so that other users with similar boobs will know the score.
The issue is just that when bras that are clearly, clearly not your size nor do they fit your shape are marked as "Fits," then people who genuinely do not know how a bra is designed to fit come to this site, it's really confusing for them to see photos of a bra that blatantly does not fit as intended, but that are marked as a good fit. It makes it incredibly hard for THOSE folks to make an informed decision.
To me it's a bit like having a site about English grammar and me posting a sentence in the "Frenglish" that I speak with my husband and labeling it as standard English. There's nothing wrong with the way we communicate but it's misleading to site users who don't have a full command of standard English and are trying to learn.

Thanks for bringing this up. It is definitely a difficult choice to claim what is a good fit objectively and being comfortable in a bra.
On the technical part, the site does keep separate information of the fuzzy fit (indicated by the user) and the strict fit (the traditional) in order to do internal decisions. The user fit is only for display, as the strict should be used for maths.
I still see your point. For a new user to come and see bras that are not strictly good fits marked as fit can either teach wrong or make it seem that the information is not reliable.
One thing we could do is display a strict fit and fuzzy fit differently, to make point that there were some issues that the user decided to overlook.
It would be great to display "fit" and something like "doesn't technically fit, but I like it anyways," however it depends on if the user is marking their bra as a strict or fuzzy fit in the first place. If you've got someone with a non-tacking gore and 3/4 of their breast volume hanging out above the cups, but yet still marking the gore as "tacks" and the cups as "fits" instead of marking them appropriately but then choosing to overlook them on the personal questionnaire - then the site can't differentiate that. You're also running on the assumption that the person marking it as a fit is well aware that it doesn't technically fit. What if they really do think it fits?
FWIW wendybien I've noticed this as well and agree with you. It's a tough line to draw because I like the option of being able to say that for myself, in this case, the slight wrinkle or slightly tight band was not a problem because otherwise the fit is excellent and I'm willing to live with it. So I don't think the ability to make those exceptions should be omitted. But it becomes a bigger deal when the fit is obviously wrong, in the technical sense, but the wearer doesn't care. Then let's say you've got a new user browsing around who really is clueless and reading a review of someone with boobs twice their size wearing a bra saying it fits when the gore floats and there's obvious quadboob, and it can be misleading for sure.

It is very difficult, it really means the last time you entered your username and password, that does record a time stamp of last log in.
Any other visits, accidental or voluntary, long or short are not tracked, as ... it is hard to tell really.
I use it as an estimate with a 2 week resolution, it helps to tell if someone has been here in the last two weeks or not. It is usually enough to know if they forgot about our existence or if they still drop by.

I was making some changes last night on reservations, and inadvertedly cleared all reservation marks on all listings. For one, I didn't want to go to a backup and restore them since we had quite a few stale listings with reserved status, so it's good that they're cleared, and those that weren't stale... well, they should be closing soon right?
Anyway, now reservations are for 7 days at the time, then they switch back to unreserved.

I might have to email someone there. Maybe they invoice you for the amount owed, minus the voucher amount?? I'm not sure. The only thing I've seen is that 'activate VIP card' thing on the your account page. I tried entering the code they gave, and it did nothing but say the code is invalid.
I'm actually going to be patient on this one! I think I'll wait for some new arrivals to show up (hopefully soon! it expires in October). I just bought the Malibu set, and there's nothing on there right now that's screaming at me that I don't already have.

I'm wondering if others are having trouble uploading photos? I can't even upload single photos without the connection timing out. Are there other ways to upload? If it helps I'm using my iPhone and only have an iPad, not a laptop.

What size are your original files? It should not make a difference that you're using a tablet or a laptop.
How many pictures at the same time are you submitting? maybe try less per batch?
I just checked and there you've uploaded 5 so far, is that before or after the problems?
I'm not sure how to find the image size info on my iPhone. I was trying a bunch, then just three, then only one and each time it seemed like no progress was made before the connection timed out. I also noticed that some got uploaded, but not all so I'm not quite sure what's going on.
Okay let's see if someone can explain this to me. I saw the rules for editing (24 hrs) and deleting (if no one participated) bra adventures. But why do I only occasionally see the "edit" button for my comments? I thought it was maybe a mobile vs desktop issue, but I just made two comments for the same platform and only one was editable. Does it depend on how you accessed the adventure to submit the comment?

You are correct about the rules. That's how comments work.
I think that what you're seeing is a cache inconsistency. The home activity stream you see is not super fast to compute, so it renders it once and saves that for some time (unless there is a change on it so you get a fresh one).
So, it may be that you saw a cached version of the activity stream for one adventure which had the link to edit, and then you saw the adventure by itself on its own page and you got all fresh data (that page isn't cached) in which case you wouldn't have seen the edit link.
If anything, that situation should not last for too long, and if you tried to edit even if the link was there it wouldn't allow you.

When you change the price, a new checkbox will be visible next to the submit button so you can opt in to send the notifications again.
