    Didn't fit

The Sadie is a 3 part cup true balconette style. Very shallow at the bottom and sides and very very roomy on top. The bra does not have a full band. I never got along with these types of bras in the past. I'm not sure why but I guess it's that they are just very shallow at the bottom of the cups and I need room there. There is barely any room in the lower cup, I couldn't fill it. The bra is made in a traditional 3 part cup construction, a true balconette style. Very shallow at the bottom and sides and very very roomy on ... top.

The shape is very projected and uplifted, this is due to that the lower section of the cups is really tall, the tallest I've seen on my all my Bravissimo bras yet and that helps lifting up the boobs very much. Also I think that the lower section has to be this tall so that the bra is still supportive despite the thin stretchy lace in the upper cup that doesn't do much.

Talking of the lacy top section, the lace is stretchy, there is no lining (yes in all sizes up to K-cup) but there is this annoying plastic band at the edge of the cups that just cuts in unflatteringly. Oh btw it's nothing like the Jasmine, feels much more sturdy and supportive!

So the 32K was a decent fit at the time, band felt tight, cups had the right volume but the shape was not good for me. Also it did not feel comfortable, looking at how the straps cut into my arms.

    • Wow that is really shallow! I haaaate the elastic strips on cups. They just cut into my soft tissue. Love the red on you. I still really like the look of Sadie. I have an affinity with the name, too.

    • I wonder if the shallowness is common on all bras with no full band? I usually avoid them so I don't have much experience with them. I wonder if it was intentional I mean that they made it so it gives maximum uplift by pushing the boobs into the upper section of the cups? Because on the Panache Jasmine the lower section of the cups did not do much to keep my boobs close to chest and supported and I don't want to talk about that flimsy lace on top. Jasmine is basicaly wires and straps torturing me but no decent support. Sadie is better in that so I guess it was intentionall so the bra is more supportive than other similar styles.

    • The elastic strip did cut in badly it doesn't even show as much on the pics but I hated how it looked.

    Didn't fit

I should have gotten a 30E. Bravissimo definitely seems to run on the small side. I like that the wires don't come up super high on the sides, which is more comfy for my soft tissue that often gets squished and in the way of my armpits with other bras. This is the only partial-band bra I own; I'm not sure I like this style, as the wires seem to dig in at the bottom more since they're just sitting on skin/fat. The lace at the top feels a little loose; I worry if I go up a size that it'd be too loose. But I feel like I'm spilling out of the 30DD, like if I lean forward, I'm gonna fall out. I do like the rounded shape it gives me.

    Didn't fit

I bought the Bravissimo Stella bra in a size 30F (my usual size). At the beginning the band ran quite tight, but after a few wears it was okay. This bra runs small in cup size as well, I wish I had ordered it in an 30G. The cups are a bit shallow for me, so combined with the too small cups and the low cut plunge my boobs fell out in the middle after some minutes of wearing it. Other than that the bra is beautifully made, the lace & the style are simple yet sexy. The non-padded cups have a soft lining on the inside, so there is no itching. If you are thinking about buying this bra, I recommend you go up at least 1 (if not 2) cup sizes.

A balconette bra by Bravissimo, the Alana is in bigger cup sizes quite full coverage. The bra is a good construction that supports and lifts boobs very well.
I had a few of those over the years, it was not my favorite bra, but it did it's job well.
The straps were a bit too seperated and the cups a bit too wide at the sides, but I have that with every bra. I also found the shape under a t-shirt to be good from the side, very round but a bit too east-west from the front. I recommend sizing up 1-2 cup sizes in this expecially if you have full - on - top boobs.

    28FF

    Didn't fit

It came to be as a surprise that I would fit in 28FF!

I have always worn 28F and occasionally 28E in very projected bras, but I have lost weight and remeasured as 28E.

I went to Bravissimo in London to look for a simple padded white bra to wear under white tops, and at first I was given 28E, but it was too small with obvious quad boobs so I was given 28FF. At first I thought I wasn't filling up the cup as there were empty space near the wire, but the fitter pulled the bra up and it instantly looked so much better! Turns out ... I had worn it too low when I tried it on.

I don't think this bra is the perfect shape for me as it has a few issues:
    - although the volume is right for my breast size, the cups cut and gave some quad boobs because it is a bit closed on top, and I have top fullness. But going up another cup size would definitely be too big.
    - The wires are definitely too wide for my narrow roots, but this happens with basically all UK bras I have tried, and it doesn't create many problems.
    - The cups are too far apart for my super close set breasts that the gore sits on the inside of my breasts a little, but that can be fixed with an overlapping gore alteration that I have been doing with all my UK bras.

It has a few great points though:
    - It is a true plunge with a very low gore so it's great for my super close set and centre full breasts.
    - The band is snug.
    - Simple padded design to wear under white tops as it conceals nipples too.
    - The rose gold materials look really good on the white bra!

Overall I am pleased with this bra, since my boobs are so weird that only Polish bras can fit perfectly. The fitter was very helpful too. One thing I don't understand is why I have enough boob to fill out this bra when the measurements show that I have dropped in size.

    Didn't fit

I always wanted to try the satine style and I fell in love with the duck eggs color on the Ariana, but it was not to be. I think it's very hard for heavy, dense breasts to do well in plunge bras, and for someone with top fullness like me, I felt like I was going to topple out even though the cup size was appropriate. This shape also just didn't work, I had ridiculous amounts of gaping at my shoulders. Also, the lace overlay may show up on thinner t-shirts. This was not for me, but it was satisfying knowing none of the satine are for me.

I don't know why I keep trying plunge styles when my boobs are quite clearly too close together for it to ever work right - even if there's no gaping under my arms, there's always quadboob in the middle. This bra, on me, had both. Returning it.

Sorry it didnt fit but I found your brief description somewhat humorous! OTOH, it is helpful for the bratabase (bra-database) if you can take a few minutes to measure it?

    • Yes, PLEASE always measure every bra that you get your hands on! Without the bra measurements our database here would not be as amazing as it is!

  9. Sadie (LN518)

I have short roots, v wide full all over boobs, close at top and splayed at bottom. This was one of the few bras I actually liked out of the tons that were given to me to try in store. But unfortunately the band seems to be too weak. I tried it in 36J H and HH and every time I hear an awful tearing sound coming from the hooks as I fasten the band on the loosest... not good at all. I can’t remember if I tried the 38 now.. i tried on so many But I am thinking a bigger back may compromise lift and support? ... I will try it anyway but seems to me it’s just not a strong enough bra for me. I think it would be good for someone without any back fat lol.
Anyway the pros: it is very pretty, pushed boobs together giving good cleavage and good lift. There’s no padding but still gives a rounded shape although very slightly pointy to but also quite perky. It’s a shame.. I don’t think bravissimo bras are made strong to last and support a heavy bust.

As someone with lots of immediate projection, a large cup on a small frame, and very soft tissue usually I am only in Polish brands. I ordered 3 sizes in this bikini and am keeping the 30HH, the 32GG was a bit too small in the cup and too large in the band, though it did give a slightly more push up vs. natural look. I'm absolutely tickled that this top works since Freya is too shallow, and the Pour Moi Azure was beautiful but ran laughably small. (I'll try to get measurements up for those). Bonus, I can pull this cup aside to breastfeed. I do wish the strap was a little thicker as these puppies are heavy, but for sake of swimwear aesthetics I get it.

Nice bra. I wish the wings and band we're taller but that's ok. Wires fit wide enough for my slightly wide roots, without then being too deep at the apex.
The cup fabric is not scratchy, but it is firm, seams are strong. This may become more "floppy" with wash/wear.

If you have breasts low set on the rib cage, the straps might not be long enough. I could extend them maybe 2 more inches, but with most bras I have much more room to extend the straps, so these are shorter than average.

The wires look so comfortable for wider roots :-) Cute!

    • They are. If they can up about 1/4 of an inch on the side I'd like it a little more, but it seems like most bras that have the wires a little higher on the armpit side then have a much taller cup, higher apex and don't fit me. The Wacoal alluring full figure and embrace lace are the exceptions so far but the smallest size is 32D so then I have to shorten the band.

    • A really pretty bra. Thank you for the review!

    • Ooh that is cute! If it’s wide then it’s probably not for me though.

I got this bra through a bra exchange. It is pretty and seems to fit me well. The satin is a little loose on the molded cups, but this is not visible under clothing. The cups have a nice rounded shape. I would say it fits true to size.

Easily one of my favorite bras. It's easy to see why this bra returns to Bravissimo's lineup again and again. Shape is lovely and lifted and the bra is perfectly comfortable. Really fantastic, especially for an unlined bra. The color is rich and the straps adjust the full length and stay put where you need them.

  14. Elise Bra (LN423)

This bra is an unlined plunge with stretch mesh on the top half of the upper section.

My shape: I am fairly projected, with fairly narrow roots, tall roots, and I lack fullness above the apex of my breasts. I am also close-set.

This plunge is a pretty great fit on me. The wires are the right side of narrow - I also measured how narrow the cups would be if this was not a plunge (so I imagined the gore continuing higher) and got 4.9-5 inches. The wires are also firm, so they do not open up much when the bra is worn. The shape of these wires is ... more of a swoosh than UU.

The gore is somewhat wide, which is a problem I have with Bravissimo's bras generally, but it is *just* low enough that it is comfortable nonetheless.

Cups: these cups have a LOT of immediate depth, and a fair amount of depth at the apex. The top section is a bit closed, so this style would not suit FOT shapes or most tall-rooted types. I can get away with it because I am shallow where it closes and the stretch mesh stops it from cutting in - if you have upper fullness generally you'll likely not suit this bra. Looking at the cup construction, I think the shape could work for centre-full breasts.

The fabric is firm/not at all stretchy, yet supple, so this bra gives good support, but will mould a little to the shape of the breasts. The fabric is also smooth, so this works well as a t-shirt bra.

Band is on the tight side of TTS, as I find with most Bravissimo own brand bras (unlined ones). This one stretches to around 27-27.5 inches before it feels strained (the Mia was similar, as was the Becca bra of theirs). This suits me because my snug varies between 26-27.5, I find roomier 28s don't last long before I need to hook on the tightest hooks to keep the band in place, even with handwashing. So smaller 28 wearers and 26s would get on well with this one.

Look: the bra is simple, elegant in a low-key way. The gore is adorned with a metal triangle shape rather than a bow, which gives it a lovely, modern look. It's unfussy but interesting, I really like it. The matching briefs are ever so cute, too, with a small triangle cut-out on the back. The back is also edged with the same stretch mesh used in the bra, so no double-bum, no VPL.

    Didn't fit

The Sienna bra has a similar cut to the popular Satine bra by Bravissimo. Since I really need a 26" band, I did alter the band on my sewing machine to shorten the band.

I find the bra still too wide for me. The gore is a bit too wide and is sitting on my breast tissue. (I sewed in the gore a bit on my Satine bra, but couldn't on this one. Bravissimo, I do like your bras! If you could alter the gores so they touch or overlap on your 28" bands, it would help!!). The cups are also wide. I ... find it too wide for my boobs and shapes them outward instead of more center and forward facing.

The cups are too tall for me so I have extra space at the top of the cups. The wrinkles show on this bra as you can see but it isn't visible with clothes on. (My black Satine doesn't show the wrinkles.) My shape is a bit empty on top so this isn't an issue of the manufacturer. The top edge part of the cup is not stretchy but suits me well. If you are full on top, you may find the top edge of the bra cuts into your breast tissue

It is generally comfortable. I like the lining of the cups for modesty. It doesn't shape or add bulk, in my opinion. I do have to wear the bra a bit lower so the gore doesn't sit on tissue. I think that affects the overall asthetics of the bra shape over clothes but is is comfortable.

It doesn't have a lot of immediate projection but for me that isn't a deal breaker.

I think the bra is pretty. I am a 28FF normally (26G) but this fits better as a 28G, so you may need to size up in the cups? Overall, I think it is very similar to the Satine design. The material and looks of this bra may be different but it should fit similar to the Satine.

    I would recommend this bra!

The cup is from 4 sections. Material is very firm and bequem. The straps could work for narrow shoulder it is not too wide. But the band is definitely small, smaller as usually Bravissimo bras, it is like a 32 or smaller band. I had to use an extender to try it.
It is not the first Bravissimo bra which I tried, but the shape is not ok for me. The top of the bra is elastic but I could not fill it out, it is too elastic for me. The wire is not too wide which is +, it is not under my arm. It is not too ... high.
The side support not fit well, I have problem due to with the rounded shape, it give a flat area where the fourth and the thired lace are screwed together.
The centre gore does not fit flat.
The bra itself would give a rounded shape, and the side support push a little the boobs forward and closser together, I have not the elast-west feeling.
Colour: Black based colour with colourful print. I like the pink bows.
    Pros:
    Wide straps
    Narrower wire
Side support (it is Cons for me)
4 section (it is Cons for me)
    Rounded shape
    Not an east-west feeling

    Cons:
    Too small band
    Side support
    Centre gore not flat

Bravissimo Satine - my new favourite bras! I just cant stop buying them! I want all possible colours and models! One of the most comfiest bras that ive ever owned in my life. I love their satin softness.
The wires are comfy, short and on the flexible side. When the bra is on, it might look like wires are too wide, however after I took the bra of after all day, the wires left small marks just around my breast - usually I get bad red marks after hard Ewa wires, however Satines leave only gentle ones that dissappear after couple of mins. The gore is relatively low ... and also does not cause any pain!
The band is perfect on me, however it is made only of 1 layer of mesh, which I really hate as this gives to bra shorter life unfortunately. I feel secure and comfortable on loosest set, however I could easily close on 2nd row or even on 3rd.
The cup depth is good, even very good for my boobs, however there are some quadboobs - I am sure that the size is correct, but its just my bust isnt compatible with this model. BUT I DONT CARE! its so comfy and great bra that I dont really care about that, also it doesnt show under tight tank tops, so the issue is not actually a problem!
Straps are good, they nicely hide under my tank tops, also theyre made of soft and easy to adjust fabric. I love that theyre wider so they dont dig into my skin.

Overall Im very pleased with these bras and definietly will buy more of them (even for sleeping!) !

Nice, sporty bikini top with a plunge style (though not as much cleavage as in the advertisement photo). Somehow it manages to keep my girls in, even when I'm running around on the beach or getting tossed around by waves. It's so comfortable that I've ended up using it also as a bra replacement in hot, humid climates.
