Nice, sporty bikini top with a plunge style (though not as much cleavage as in the advertisement photo). Somehow it manages to keep my girls in, even when I'm running around on the beach or getting tossed around by waves. It's so comfortable that I've ended up using it also as a bra replacement in hot, humid climates.

I think this is a classic example of plunges not suiting my soft breast tissue - I'd love to find a plunge that fits! This gives a beautiful outline under clothing (low-cut in particular - it's not quite flush with the breast tissue so may not be suitable for something very tight and/or clingy that covers the breast), is a decent price and is well-finished. Unfortunately my tissue (and breast shape, based on pictures) doesn't mesh well with this bra. It wrinkles in the upper cups, although I'm fairly FOT, but gives me quadboob within an hour of wearing. Any other suggestions, hints, comments or other welcome.

the lowest cut bra I have is actually an Ewa Michalak SM, but I think it might be a flawed cut - it fits unusually

    • 1

dbmamaz I recognise your pic from FB :D You helped me out before when I posted an EM BM that I've since measured and added here. I've ordered a few more, based almost entirely on what you said too. The Ewa Michalak S Magique (834) , Ewa Michalak S Przeplatanki (716) and Ewa Michalak Sf Czarny G\u0142adzioch (866). I think they're still off so might be waiting a while but I'm hopeful. Once I nail my size in a couple of EMs I'm much more confident about branching out into others.

wave! good luck finding a plunge - i havent even tried.

Hi, I'm a different size to you (I'm 28E/F) but I had this same problem thou to a loser extetent so that the wrinkles at the top of the cup only show a little but. I'm fairly full on top but maybe more even fullness, with shallow wide rooted breasts. Maybe you could try Cleo Neve? That brilliant on me and they have a nude colour in that that smooth under tight tops and doesn't cut into the breast tissue at the top. The gore does sit lower than on the satine but I don't need support there. I've only just joined and am in the process of adding my bras. I've got pictures of the Neve and Satine that I'll put up now if you felt you wanted to have a look. I think the Cleo Koko bras are the current equivalent for Cleo though I've not tried any myself yet

    • 1

Sorry for all the mistakes in that, my iPad is. Auto correcting a lot of things and it's the wrong time of night/early morning to be doing this but I can't sleep. I've done the photo and will add measurements later on

    • Thanks PinkSquink (tagging doesn't seem to be working - according to your profile you're not social ;) Maybe that's why ) and no need for apologies for the mistakes! I might try a Neve. I haven't worn Cleo much but my shape is changing and I feel like I may be losing a little upper fullness, so I'm a bit hesitant about all things bra-related at the moment and feel like I'm just too soft and pendulous for a plunge. But we'll see!

    • 1

No problem. I'm by no means an expert but its worth a try hopefully. I didn't realise about the social thing. I only joined yesterday so I guess I was just being cautious as I don't understand everything on here yet. I'll have another look at what it means to choose a social or non-social profile. Good luck with the Neve. If you can't find any on here I think there may still be a few on eBay and Amazon.

    • I'll have a look, thanks PinkSquink. I'm still figuring out parts of this site too and I'm not new :)

I'm happy with this bra as it is the first I have that fits me properly.
The fabric is comfortable and the range of colours available is great.
I find the wing height maybe a little too high as it can start to rub the skin near my armpit after prolonged wear.
The back band is lovely and wide and gives great support, as are the wide straps.

When I first put these on I have slight quadboob and slight wrinkling in the bottom of the cup but it settles into place and fits really well.
I do find the straps tend to crease and on my nude one they fold in half. Even still this is a decent bra and gives a reasonably natural shape, more east-west than Cleo Marcie but far less than Elomi plunges.

This has become one of my favourite bras!!! Love the elegant satine look, jade colour and the fit is just amazing. I am probably between a 28dd and 28e but the dd was just too small causing a double boob effect. The bra advisor also agreed that the 28E looked much better on me. It fits well on my bigger boob but there is slight gaping on the right boob, especially when I bend over https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The other thing is it not seemless so is visible under clothing. But this is definitely an everyday bra. I'm thinking about getting the nude satine ... in the next few months!!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />))

Oh and a tip for you ladies - the bra runs small, so I would suggest sizing up one or even two cups! I am a 28dd in panache but a 28E in bravissimo satine range.

Update: I love the fit, look and comfort feel so much that I decided the buy the beige one too!! However the beige one seems to show some headlights..... And I had just realised after taking the tags off https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I got this bra cheaply with the intention of altering it. The cups fit, the band is too big and rides up. I will review the bra after I altered the band because now as it is, it is unwearable.

    edit: 03/03/15
I finally altered this bra. I decided to not just shorten the band but also make it a 4 hook - closure bra! I bought some cheap 4-hook bra extenders on Ebay. For my alternation I needed 2. I removed hooks on the inner side on one so they match then I sewed one on every side of the band. Before I had removed the old fastener. It ... worked very well and it's really super easy to do. I only needed like 15 mins to do this.
Now I have a very well fitting, 34KK Bravissimo bra with a 4-hook closure! Yay https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I had to test it immediately and it works quite well. I even think it's a bit more supportive than the usual bra with the 3-hook closure...
I really do like this bra now! I wish bravissimo would do more of their best-selling Balconette bras up to a L-cup.

    Update September 2015:
I don't wear the bra anymore. Since I did not cut off any material of the band, it did not get much shorter from my alternation I described above. So the band still was too big for me. I thought about shortening the band, but it would have left almost no stretch it did it which made the bra uncomfortable so I have undone a band alternation.
The bra is like a Bravissimo 36 band or a small 38, which is too big for me. (Band of Bravissimo bras run small anyway)

    28GG

    Fits

6/17/15: Update: This bra is still cute and wild, and I find it fits much better after my weight loss. I was 30 pounds heavier when I purchased this back in 2012. That said, the cups contain my bust with no quad-boobing and the band is very comfortable on the loosest set of hooks. I hadn't worn it much due to the ill fit when I was heavier, but find I reach for it now that it fits much better. I do feel the wires are too wide, but don't really poke me so I can live with it. The cup still gives a bit of a pointy ... look, but I think that is just the cut of the bra and under the right shirt can still work for me.

5/2/2012: To tell you the truth, I purchased this bra because of the pattern and color. It is definitely wild. This is my first Bravissimo brand bra so I was unsure of sizing. I purchased a size 28GG, but I think I should have purchased an H cup, but it fits well enough none the less. The band fits well on the loosest hooks on my 26 inch ribs. The quality is nice.

    On Bravissimo’s website it is listed as;
    - Underwired lightly padded plunge
    - 2 hook fastening in DD-G cups, 3 hooks GG-J
    -Polyamide polyester cotton elastane

I normally purchase molded cup bras, and have just recently started purchasing sewn padded cup bras. The only complaint I have is that where my nipples sit the stitching doesn’t really lay flat and sort of gives a torpedo type of shape. I’ll be saving this bra to wear under my button-up shirts and such so the seaming won’t be seen. Not sure if I would repurchase this cut again, but like I said I like a more molded round look.

An exceptionally sturdy tankini, I would purchase again except that it is discontinued and I am going to try a swimsuit next time because I am wary of tankinis rolling up. It has sturdy wide straps and lots of support, it feels like it is double lined.

Updated on Apr 16, 2015 Flag this

    • Ah it looks very different from the 36K - Curvy Kate » Luau Love Tankini (CS1906) I got where the bra is hidden underneath the actual tankini. This is more like a bikini bra with fabric sewn to it to cover like a tankini...But it looks good.
I doubt that Bravissimo does more than 1-2 cuts for swimwear, seeing at how lazy they are with bras. So you could be lucky to get a similar one still.

    • Yeah people say that helps the tankini fabric from floating above your bra. I did try a different swimsuit last year but it was too baggy in the body and the straps were thin and stretchy and the cups were strechier so I think materials and slight variances in design change the support a lot. I ordered Moonflower to test and a Bravissimo swimsuit so we'll see.

There's a lot of good about this bra, even if it doesn't really work for me. For starters, the 32 is really too tight for size. I use an extender. (I do love the support of the 3 hooks and eyes though!). It's a beautiful light shade of pink (not beige - so don't think you'll be easily able to match the undies with something from another brand. Had to go back and purchase undies afterwards. For deep breasts that aren't full at the centre, this would probably be great. But the gore doesn't tack - even though the bra fits (unusual situation, I realize). It's very supportive and gives great shape. Material is quite firm (not particularly luxe but not unpleasant). Definitely go up a cup size - and probably a band size too. I'd even suggest going up 2 cup sizes as this bra is known for fitting very small.

The Dixie bra is one of my favourites. Not only does it come in two beautiful, playful colours, but it also gives me a great lift and shape. In addition, it gives the cutest cleavage with the right amount of lace. The polka-dotted bows are a nice detail too.
This bra is one of the most comfortable bras I own. I've owned mine for almost two years and not even once have the wires poked out. The fabric hasn't stretched out more that the expected either. So, it's a great quality bra, with a very nice shape and aesthetic.
I'd love to see this bra in more colours.

The Satine is a very comfortable bra. The fabric is soft and looks silky, making it perfect for everyday use. It is a gorgeous bright red but it also comes in other colours.
I really like the cut of this bra, which allows to wear lower cut shirts or dresses while providing a nice, rounded cleavage. The straps are wide and very supportive, and so is the band.
The main problem of this bra would be that although the fabric looks very pretty, it tends to stretch a bit too much over time, altering the original fit of the bra. It is not terrible but you might need to readjust your bra a couple of times during the day after some months of use. You need to tighten the band by using the tightest hook but this makes the cups a bit more separate, resulting in the need of readjusting your boobs every now and again during the day.
Despite that, it is a very nice and practical bra that fits well and gives good shape.

The Alana bra is perfect for the shape of my boobs. It looks and fits great and works well as an everyday bra while also being sexy enough for a special occasion. It was one of the first bras I bought after being professionally fitted, and it has remained a favourite of mine ever since.
The fabric didn't stretch out too much over use; I use it now after almost two years of owning it on the second hook. The one problem it may have is the quality of the fabric/underwire section, as they poked out from the centre after some months of average use and careful washing.
Still, the shape and feel of this bra make it worth it for me and if I could, I'd own it in every colour.

Oh @Mademoiselle, I love you so much, you are so gorgeous, and in possibly my favourite colour way ever (the matching pants are SO cute). But you don't return that love, you mock me and make my boobs look all wrong, but not wrong enough off bat that I kick you to the curb - you tease me by starting off making me look all pretty and wenchy, and then as the minutes (note, minutes, not hours https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> ) tick by, you leave me looking very much like a teenage boy, devoid of any bosom at all, other than a weird quad ... boob lump thing. Sigh.

This is a pretty comfy bra, but as we all probably know by now, Mademoiselle is *shallow*. With a capital SH. The wires and cups extend around to just on my back, which feels odd and is one of the reasons this doesn't give any projection at all, but it combines with the shallow cup to give my (probably a 32F boob measurement now) weird quad boob - how does that happen on something this huge? I've tried to alter the cups slights by bending the wires, but haven't managed to do much, but this has possibly altered the measurements slightly.

As can be seen by the photos this band stretches a bit, for a 32 I think its comes up a bit big - the back view isn't the most flattering, as for reasons only known to my weird head I did an odd holding my arms out in a bizarre manner for this shot, which gave me weird lumpy back fat above the band - to be fair to the bra it doesn't really do that when your arms aren't all twisted in a bizarre manner.

ETA: This review was written when I was bigger in the bust. My boobs are a sad former shadow of themselves now, so don't look at any current fitting bras on my profile in regards to this, as its horribly out of date for my boobies now (hence listing it).

At first I thought the wires were going to dig in, but after I moved them in their channel a little bit higher at the gore, this bra is very comfortable and fits nicely.
I think it's similar to the CK Desire that I love soo much, and similarly it fits a cup size up from my 'normal' size.
The cup fabric is soft and silky, the band and straps seem substantial without being industrial looking and it gives a smooth look under clothing, surprisingly. I tried it just under a tank-top and barely noticed any seams! I think this bra will become a go-to in my arsenal of boobie-holders.

    • animated O my Gosh! That bra looks so pretty on you! wow. :) Ok so I thought the Alexa and the Satine had the same amount of room in the tops of the cups. ? It's a beautiful bra, huh? It looks really good on you compared how it looked on me. :)wow

    • what eye are you wearing it on? The tightest, loosest or middle?

    • I'm so happy we did that! :) I get really happy when I can put a girl in a bra that looks and fits so good! I want to work in a bra store that makes good sizes and bras. With A+ seamstresses like 4 that I know of on bratabase. Who can teach me how to alter and we could all work together in America, so that American women don't have to wear painful wire bras or 34C soft cup bras that are too small and too big at the same time!

    • It would fun to be a fitter. I gave a 28GG Charlotte padded bra to this chic who used to be my neighbor, and she looked so good in that bra, she looked better than all the models in that bra. And I was so happy. I was like, I need to be a fitter, but not at VS or some sizing crap place. A nice place that has 24" bands AA-MM cups and 48" bands. :D

    • 1

I would love to be a fitter as well, but I found that will happen because we live in the US.
I wrote this bra on the loosest hook yesterday, but I think the middle will be my go-to when I wear this bra next.

    • Satine and Alexa fit you a lot better than they fit me. :) I'm glad though. :)

I tried on the Violet colour at the Bravissimo store, and I thought it was was a pretty good fit with only slight quadboob on the larger breast. I decided to purchase this bra in ivory on ebay, but alas it is quite different in the fit. I recommend you buy the newest line possible if considering purchasing this bra.

Band - Ivory: Rides up quite a lot on the tightest hook. This is quite normal as I do measure 24/25 inches in the ribs, but this band is really really stretchy.
Violet: Feels quite snug on the loosest hook, but would probably stretch with wear.

Cups - Ivory: ... The wire doesn't really match the contour of my breast- I think the bottom of the cup is quite shallow because there is some empty space there. This causes a more dramatic quadboob effect. The wires feel very stiff and painful due to the wrong shape.
Violet: The wires fit the contour of my breast, there is no poking or pain and the bottom of the cups are filled with only slight quadboob on the larger breast.

Was tight when first brought but stretches quite quickly, I've worn the same style of bra for the last year and a half, I've only ever shopped at bravissimo and none of their other bras seem to 'fit'
