Its a deco. Thats what I would say. Makes a nice shape and the cups are great as they dont flip outwards as most older deco's cups esp. freya decos. I definitely try to get this bra in another color, but I dont want to keep it in black. It's just not my color.
This is my best fitting bra. It is good quality (but not luxurious), well made and comfortable. The wires a a little wider and shorter than average. They are also more flexible than Panache for instance, but they still provide good support. The wings are not very high, which is comfortable for shorter women. The straps are wide and not the prettiest, but they are comfortable. The straps are quite wide-set and the side of the cup contains my tail of spence while waring it. In most balonette bras I find this painful, but not for the Alana. The band is wide with 3 hooks for better support. The cups are closend on top, which might be an issue for tall roots.
I wear this bra quite a lot even though the back is a tiny bit loose on me as a lot of 28 backs can be but it's manageable. It's nice to have an ivory colour instead of white as its looks better on my pale skin. It's shine and the little mesh trim sewn into the binding on the top of the cups along with the button at the gore gives a feminine understated look that is sophisticated but not too girly. It has fully adjustable straps which is great for my reasonably small shoulders. It's got a fairly deep plunge with a slightly rounded shape on the fullness of the cups so it's good for a lot of plunging necklines but not if they're too low (I wear Cleo Neve in these instances). However, the satine also gives a lovely rounded shape under different necklines so it's the best of both.
This is a really comfortable bra for me, the usual problems I have are shoulder straps being too far apart, this is fine. And not being able to fill top of cups on molded/full cup bras. As this is a plunge that isn't as much of a problem. The material is soft. I was not looking for a plunge bra, just one that fitted for everyday, this is a little bit more "cleavagey" than I would want for every day but is so comfortable will over look that. it is very lightly padded and i would not say it adds any bulk to bust.
This bra has a very "front and center" feel to it, and I like that it pulls my breasts away from my armpits. I am high-set, and this bra does not dig into my armpits at all. It feels verry supportive, and seems to have the immediate depth my projected breasts need. The band feels snug, but does creep up a bit throughout the day. (I think this is due to me needing a smaller band rather than an extra stretchy band on the bra.) This bra gives a more natural, somewhat pointed, projected shape. I have the beige color, and find that I can use it as a t-shirt bra, although I think the lace could show through some sheer t-shirts.
This bra is so cute and pretty, The quality is not good https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> wich is sad, because the bra is really cute, the colors are bright and happy!! The fit is just a little odd, in-cup quad-boob, wich is a shame because the lift is amazing, still wearable, the wires are way too short for me, tissue scapes on the side, near the armpit, the cups run a bit on the smaller side, but does not give me quad-boob on top of the cup (but inside the cup) I am pretty sure I am full on bottom and have inside fullness too, that is why I think it does not quad-boob on top, the lace is not stretchy. The band is true to size, maybe just a tiny bit big, very scratchy!! Comfortable to wear since is a bit stretchy, but it stays in place which is good. As you can see in my pictures, it depends on the type of blouse I wear how it looks.
The fit is not perfect on me, but that is not the bra's fault. I've come to realize that plunges don't get along all too well with my shape and I have to re-adjust a few times over a day, because my breasts want to escape the cups at the gore. I still like to wear it, because it is very soft and comfortable.
This bikini top fits me fairly well. I've only tried it on briefly so far, and it is a halter top so that could be a big problem - I'll have to see if the weight on my neck becomes painful in a longer wearing. The cups are sewn from 3 pieces of material, which in my experience is much better than two, and the stretchy, spotted outer material is lined with thin, white and much less stretchy material with seams in the same places. The wires are a reasonable width and the support level is ok. Sadly, the bottom of the cups don't have enough projection and there is an empty space the width of a finger just above the wires, meaning there is a bit of quadding at the top. However, if this top turns out to be comfortable to wear I'm prepared to overlook these drawbacks. The bright red with white spots is cheerful and I haven't thought it was possible for me to wear anything without back straps for many years.
This is a really cute bra. Very similar cut to the 32DD - Bravissimo ยป Retro Bloom Bra (LN171) and so also works on me (shallow, FOB, slightly wide-set), lovely embroidered hearts on the outside of the cup with a soft cotton lining on the inside. Gives quite a bit of lift and a good shape while still being comfortable.
Very cute bra, good fit on my wide-set, shallow boobs (though has a tiny gape at the middle on my smaller side if I don't have the straps tight enough). Seems pretty comfy so far.
Cups feel laughably small. They sit on the tips of my boobs, so they don't cut in, but they just look funny. Still cute. Band rides up quite high in back.
Incredibly, ridiculously beautiful. Also very comfortable, I've worn it on long walks and it kept me from getting the usual back/neck/shoulder pain. Wires come up very high and smooth in center, very nice.
Tight on the back, which is great for me as a small uk 28 (I need a 26 back really). True to size in the cups. Similar to Panache. Great support and lift. Lovely round shape. My best fitting bra yet!
I grabbed the Boudoir Beau Bra by Bravissimo off the rack quickly after the associate helping me had no luck. I don't know anything about this bra and it wasn't recommended for me, but I tried it for diagnostics because it felt a lot like Fantasie Susanna, et al and I wanted to give all the unlined options a try. It was all wrong for me, though. Too thin/soft in material, a weird jiggly pointy shape, plus it's scratchy, gapey on top and did nothing to lift me up. The wires were an okay width, I think, but they were thick and hard and uncomfortable.
the band rides up on this, i've never had a 32 band ride up before. exchanging for a 30 band. the cups seems to run small too. i usually wear a 32D/32DD, and i will need a 30F in this.
