LOVE the colour and the upfront shape. Nice deep plunge in the middle so no wires to poke and no worries about v-neck tops showing the bra. Upfront shape means more bouncing in this one.
The shoulder straps and underwires are wide for my narrow frame and the lace by the bow rubs/cuts against my armpit/inner shoulder when I move. OK for a day but not for two in a row. The straps stay on my shoulders but just.
Quad boob at front especially after a lift and scoop. (no 30JJ available) and strangely a pucker along the top seam towards my armpit that is visible under clothing. The pucker disappears when I really pull the cups across the middle towards my cleavage, but then cups slide back again.
Feels like it pushes my boobs downwards. Gives me a ski-jump profile from the side. No bigger cup sizes available for the 30 band. Wish it gave a good shape because band is fairly firm.
This was the first bra I loved. Earlier this year, I bought my first set of bras that almost fit. Of these, the Melrose in Bloom was the most beautiful and most comfortable. It was never a perfect fit for me - the gore didn't tack, and the wires are too wide for me - but it's a wonderful bra. If you have a projected shape and average-width breasts that are slightly close-set, this is a spectacular option. Like many Bravissimo-branded bras, it also minimizes asymmetry an unbelievable amount.
-I filled out the "number of hooks" as just 1, as it as a clip fastening, rather than hook and eye. Not sure how accurate the cup depth measurement can really be since swimwear stretches much more than bras.-
The design itself is lovely. The lining is so soft. The straps are quite wide, so some may not like that, but they are super comfortable and supportive. They don't look dowdy at all, they look more sporty. The underwires are very sturdy, especially for swimwear, so if you find Freya's to be a little bendy/soft, the Bravissimo ones are much better.
I actually feel that this bra fits quite well. The underwire could go a little higher on the sides (tends to cut in a little bit) but it's comfortable otherwise. I like the mild cleavage it gives me
My first Bravissimo bra - I like the band, the design is really lovely - but the cups wrinkle a bit at the top, cut is similar to Curvy Kate Tease Me Padded Bra (SG2001) in my opinion.
This 34H - Bravissimo » Petit Beau Bra (LN198) is by far the best-fitting bra I've ever had, and the most supportive. The gore tacks and is perfectly sized, the lace lies flat, it looks almost painted on, and it's wonderfully comfortable. I miss it when I take it off! It's really nice to find a deep enough bra; I can't get the gore to tack on most bras (for instance, @Clara bras by @Panache, in this or other sizes; most other bras also feel a little too wide). I can also get the (tiny) gore to tack on a 34HH - Bravissimo » Satine In Bloom Bra (LN217) , but I prefer the shape and support I get with the Petit Beau bra.
The color scheme is kind of nice and the overall pattern ok, but everything else is fantastic.
This bra I received about 8 months ago in December 2014. Since them I have worn it a lot. I measure 34'' inch underbust comfortably tight and the band on this bra was slightly big for me, so I had to wear it on the tightest setting. The band stretched out with wear so I had to take it in to still fit me. The cups fit me very well. The wires were at a good width for me and did not come up to high under my arms. I get very good support and uplift in this bra.
The shape is great, I even think the shape ...in this is a bit rounder than in Bravissimo Alana. I love the cute hearts print. I'd buy this bra again in another colorway, but I'd wish they did a 34KK in this. I also find the material a bit softer than for example on the Alana.
After heavy wearing (about once or twice each week at least) in August 2015 the wire suddenly popped out of the bra at the gore. Note that I only ever handwashed the bra. But I still think that it is a decent quality since the issues only ever happened after about 6 months of wear. Also considering that the bra had to lift heavy boobs, I think it did good. I fixed the hole at the gore, and hope that the wire will stay inside and that I can hopefully wear this bra "to death".
edit October 2015: the wire just came out again... also the bra feels weak and there is not much stretch left in the band. I think I will retire this bra after about 10 months of wearing it frequently
This is by far the best-looking and most flattering bra I've ever tried on. The shape is nice even with the slight quad-boob. It fit well when I bought it, but sometimes my breasts blow up, and right now the cups are a bit too small. I tried a 28H Sweet Medley, and although it's supposed to be have the same model, it doesn't fit anything like the Lucine.
The band is quite tight. I bought it two years ago and I still use the loosest hooks (though it has been sitting in my closet for long periods of time).
The only problem was that the underwires popped out in a few weeks. Now I fixed them for the second time. I hope Bravissimo has started covering the ends with plastic like many others do.
This bra has such a weird name. At first glance, it seemed like it would make a great t-shirt bra because of the smooth satiny finish and no seams. Maybe for someone else. It was such a weird shape on me. It flattened my boobs out a lot, pushing them flat up on my chest. My larger side looked like it was dented from the side. The fitter said there's no other bra like it in their collection - a cross between a balcony and t-shirt bra. The gore is a bit low and reminded me of how my very soft boobs look in the 30GG ...- Cleo » Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) when I first put it on, just sort of squished down and touching above the gore. I felt like they could easily spill out above the gore like in the Neve with a few minutes' wear. On top of that, it was also too high at the sides. I am guessing it was too shallow for me because of the squished-flat appearance. Only plus is that it really was seamless. Read more 79 more words
What a cute bra! The name is perfect. The little hearts are "darling." :)
