Clara, Clara, Clara….so much to say about you, and so much love for you.
Clara is extremely beautiful, and quite nostalgic for me actually. My first Comexim was a Victoria 3HC which exhibits a similar vibe with the navy lace and beige lining. While the Victoria was accentuated with eyelash lace details and the band in the shimmery beige, Clara maintains the navy band, and is accented with the scalloped lace over the cup edge. Personally, this is way more my aesthetic as I never felt too strongly about eyelash lace. This is overall a more navy lace bra than Victoria. Admittedly, while I have adored Clara since ...her reveal, she means even more to me now as I am in Pilates teacher training, and Clara was the name of Joseph Pilates’ wife.
This is the first 70G plunge from Comexim that I have tried, as I was 65HH for a while, lost weight and was a 70F (barely), and now with some weight gain back, I am on the edge of the 70G. For Clara, the G is adequate, as it is a little bit roomier than the other 70G I got. This one has a noticeably taller gore, which is a bit twisty…not the end of the world, but it’s floating as a result. This one has 4 columns of hooks and is perfect. The cup height is pretty spot on, and while I have a little gapping on my small side, it’s by the gore…so if it sat more flush or was shorter, I imagine that would be resolved. Straps are ok, but I would like to have them moved in still. Cup width is right at my root edge. A cup size larger would be too tall, but gained a bit more side coverage, but I followed the sizing suggestions from Breakout Bras to go one size up for soft tissue. This means that it is a little bit less side coverage. The only way to fix this is to customize the fit, but it’s still quite sufficient for an unaltered bra. I really love love love this bra. It makes me want to do a boudoir photo shoot.
I debated what size bottoms to get, and I chose the medium. The medium fits but having tried the next bra I got in medium and large, the larger size is a bit more comfortable with more rear coverage. They are both good, just different. Read more 301 more words
Thank you so much BraOdyssey ! It’s just that little bit extra bigger or deeper or whatever that it fits. I’m kind of in between the 70G and 70H without any modifications.
Nice! Without any alterations, looks good!
My first Comexims were the beauty half cup, and Victoria (2HC ?) And I believe I have one of these coming secondhand (not sure if it’s OG Clara or Clara 2) I love the aesthetic :) I have trouble with Comexim plunges, where If I size up appropriately the cups get too tall. I agree with loving the look of this one <3 it’s gorgeous
Thank you meganelaineshaw1 . I should probably get a 70H in this now as it is a little too small in 70G.
Whoa, can not believe these beauties are on clearance r.n. for $21 per bra (& $10 matching undies!) I know I sound like a walking advertisement, but these are so nice! Topaz is a beautiful, rich teal colour, and the print is a detailed floral design with complementary greens, gold & yellow-greens. I have to thank callie510 for writing her review 15 months ago on Topaz b/c her advice steered me in the right direction, though ymmv! I did only "go up one cup UK" to find my fit in this "deeper plunge" bra (as Breakout Bras calls it), which is different from Comexim's regular ...padded plunge.
If you look closely, you can see that I have asymmetry, but I think this size (just one cup up UK) was the best size atm, the fit is probably more perfect on my smaller breast, and a little bit more cleavagey on my larger breast (left), but it is what it is. This way I don't have gaping on my smaller side. The fabric is also very sooooofffttt. Basically instant comfort.
To describe my breast shape I would say: narrow & close-set (front & center boobs) with average root height, center-full, my breast tissue is somewhere between soft and firm, I get my best fit in Polish bras. I like the shape that the narrow underwires give me! It's very youthful, imo -it gets your boobs out of the way!
Even though I gained weight I didn't go up in band size for Comexim (I know, it's wild!). I'm thinking - when I was thinner, I didn't have much "squish" and so I still needed a 32 band (70) in Comexim. Now that I measure 32GG UK, I also need a 32 band in Comexim (70). Someone told me that Comexim makes their bands looser than they did YEARS ago. Maybe that's true. But this band is good for me r.n.
As far as the matching set, I ended up getting XL, I normally would've ordered L but they were out of size L, and these seem okay for me : )
Amazing deal and definitely a "bra win" for me, as Happy2BraShop would say!
Edit: I just wanted to add, I believe the gore is overlapped, it's only 1.4 cm across. I don't think they can make the gore any smaller than this?
Day Two: I actually love this bra even more, it's comfy and gives a nice rounded look/great cleavage. I think this pattern, Comexim "deeper padded plunge" may be a better fit on my breasts than their regular padded plunge, idk. their regular padded plunges fit me and well, but I think I like this deeper padded plunge fit better. Holly_By_Golly omg. Thank you!! I see they have a few of the sale Comexim. I only bought from breakoutbras once. I don’t know what size I would need. 🤔 I don’t even know what my current size would be. How is their sizing. If I *think* I’m 70F (ordered directly from Comexim) would I order the same size?
I mean UK 30E
Prettyncharmeuse Breakout sizing gave me too small a cup fit, I went by their direct UK to american-polish-eu equivalent and regret not going bigger in the Lavender, Gracja, and Clara. The ones I got with the calculator turned out better, it gave me 60N but I went with M because I'm so short & functionally full, and those fit nice. This is the calculator https://comeximcalc.vercel.app/
I have no idea where my original review is for this, it was during one of my first dozen reviews last fall when I'd realized Comexim was the light the truth and the way (can we discuss what an obscenely attractive thing this is, with it's swamp hag greengold and seawitch sinuous ribbon-tentacles?) Redoing this review, which is a massive PITA because the BBASE really doesn't like the tag. Sorry I had a wild impulse purchase moment with Breakout who probably custom ordered the utterly bizarre UK sizing, for the typical cm increase, which makes NO SENSE at all! Should have ordered straight from ...the source.
So mine has a tag of '28JJ'. This come with a depth of 11.5" and a cup height of nearly 8" which is very firmly 'H' territory. Going over 28/60N listings for 3HC's on Breakout currently shows a size of UK sizing of 28JJ, as also being an American size 28N. But remember- we're dealing in CM here not inches.... So yeah /facepalm
This 3HC seems to be a tough one for a lot of people in the world in general. The shape is really deep, moderately projected and open on top with a little elastic stitched into the top. The band is insanely tall! Straps sufficiently wide for considerate support. Not wild about the wires which are real tall and U shaped (4.5 from bottom center, directly up the the midway point between wire arms). For even fullness with tall roots and moderate projection?
All of this asides, as an extra short doublewide full on bottom- I wear it A LOT.
Pros: -The most gorgeous thing i owned all year -My god it's soft, like wrapping my tits in a pillow, airy yet blanketed, unrestrained but supported -Hands down the most fluctuation friendly yet secure bra I own -Perhaps this is down to size, nothing else in my halfcup collection of CH/CHP/3HC/various polish makes, comes close to the immediate projection I get in this -So as a consequence, my breasts are never pushed from the cups out into the armpit or up in the amscye like with... well most everything.
Cons: -The breakin /ID-ing fit issues period was awful (many changes came fast! endless fiddling to keep it in rotation whilst my cleo mimi replacements lagged) -Thicker taller band means you get a way tighter band for better or worse -It's a tough cookie but still made of layered fine mesh net and lace so needs extra care on washing day -Straps start of hard and inflexible so they cut in a bt on the edges, I recall getting welts the first few weeks which rather hadn't -Because they straps max out at 15" long, which is way better that a whole lot in 28 bands but also, hi I have massive man shoulders? Just, I need more than a gradeschool child's sleeve depth, ok. I have long worn teen clothing as it fits everything else perfectly well so I know exactly how odd this scaling is. This is not a hard or weird request ffs- Just give us enough strap to cover a reasonable range of shoulder depth and let the dumb thing be taken DOWN to 10" good freaking night.
I truly adore that Sirene came with overlapped wires. It would have been heavenly had it been a fully narrowed gore as the gore at 3+ inches very competent but not Gorsenia levels of narrow. Although I've only discovered the joys of narrowing one's own gore a few months back, it's not yet occurred to me to so that to Sirene. Maybe when I gain that annual Holiday Pound soon, & get desperate. Due to the straps being rather on the short side of things, I picked out the armscye, deepened the curve to start lower and ascent further inward under the strap.
I've also fiddled with the cup height over the year to suit whatever fit I need, which seems to only be getting deeper (at center? sides? inner? who knows anymore). Read more 685 more words
I got this bra in exchange for my 65J which was always a bit big but didn’t quite look like it was, perhaps because it is a little bit closed on top. Having lost weight last year, it no longer fit and I was ecstatic to be able to do a swap for a smaller one.
I have actually been gaining a little bit of weight back, and this one is a titch too small in the cups, or perhaps it’s just too short. That said, the quadding is more like bubbling, and it’s actually giving me a really uplifted and rounded shape, perhaps because this style tends ...to run a bit shallow compared with other plunges. If I add an extender, I settle in a bit more, and it does feel a bit more comfortable around my ribcage. It’s fine as is, but borderline too tight. I have to measure it still, but I am guessing that it’s probably pretty close to the listed measurements, and probably about 28.5” stretched. I can do it but prefer 29” as I can have a sensitive ribcage.
Overall, it’s a fairly good fit, and I think it’s going to relax a bit more with wear. I’m not sure if I will wear it with the extender because the hook spacing is a little bit different, and I don’t want to damage the bra with a slight change in tension on the hooks.
I think a 65H or 70G would have been perfect in this one.
Side note: the tattoo is temporary from inkbox. It’s also a bit messed up as it was the first one I did and questioned if I had it lined up straight…but between my eye problem and slight perfectionism, I adjusted it a few times but the ink was already transferring which created a bit of a blurry look. Your analysis of the fit is in line with the pictures. It's such a beautiful bra. I hope it does relax a bit for you!
Is it just me, or does this not look very plunge-y for a plunge bra?
learningaboutbras yeah I find that the fit of this is not quite as plunge-y, but then Comexim plunges often don’t seem to be as plunge-y unless you have a reduced gore.
I’m hoping it will settle and relax with a bit of wear, and I may settle in more once the swoop and scoop isn’t so fresh. I’m fitting my Megan similarly but I think it’s maybe a smidge taller and open and I don’t bubble as much. I’m thinking maybe this size with added depth would work or one size up, possibly with reduced cups and gore 1cm. I’m leaning toward the larger size because I have a gap in what is fitting me right now.
This looks great, Calluna! Such a classic from Comexim. I've read it "the one bra every redhead should own." lol.
Thanks BraOdyssey ! And yea, I’m not redheaded but I do have a little warmth in my hair.
*Edit this is a Comexim 60L not 60J* I recently bought this second hand Comexim Hot Chocolate Plunge Bra Tagged Size 28J (US?) I Purchased It on a second hand app from. Reseller who listed it as fitting like a UK 28G or 28FF. I wear about a 28FF right now after some weight loss. I like Polish bras, I am Petite and Only 4 ft 8 so I also have more narrow shoulders so I like the more narrow wires. This is a Plunge Style which I have always preferred. I am somewhat close set due to my lower fulness but it's not as extreme now that ...I don't have as much upper/centerfullness with my size. I am currently.more FOB and somewhat projected. I just lost weight so and was FOB but also had a lot of center fullness and some upper fullness before. This Bra feels like the exact Bra I needed before. The cup size and height is a little too large now that I have lost weight.I think it was a miscommunication/misinterpretation between the reseller and I about the aprox. UK size, But I am still happy I bought this Bra because When my weight fluctuates up again this will be exactly whT I need I think. The wire width is perfect. The cup heights a little higher now but it's okay. I like how this envelopes my breasts. I don't have much cleavage because it's a little too big. the Band is firm and comfortable and the straps are a good distance apart and thick and supportive and fully adjust. It's a pretty and functional Bra, made up of two pieces wirh another piece across the top. The Gore is comfortable and it does not poke my armpits! It is a very pretty chocolate brown with a reddish pink lace covering that made it very apparent that it was one of their hot chocolate plubge bras. this Bra doesnt not fit me perfectly now but it is still very comfortable. It is more comfortable than my other UK 28GGs I have. So. I plan to keep this bra. I think I need a little less projectio rigbt now, but this is the exact Bra I needed 1 yr ago+ and will need again. My boobs: 26FF/G ish, been fluctuating a lot the past year, but always even to FOT, narrow roots, moderately projected, firm tissue, decent space between breasts, but not wide-set.
I got this bra from cat_the_rat a couple months ago, and it has been everything I hoped for! I have been needing a replacement for my beloved Basic for a while, and this has totally taken that spot. My tiniest criticism is that the lace is a bit bumpy under some shirts, but in general it's not a problem. Otherwise, it fits extremely well. The band is a true 26; not too tight, not too loose. And ...like my Basic before it, the band has a good amount of stretch to it that adds to its comfort, as opposed to having a very firm band. So it seems that the beige bras' bands from Comexim run pretty consistently to size, which is nice. Other than that, everything is pretty much the same; same wire width, gore width, projection. I do like the cup shape of this bra better than my OG Basic. It tends to lay flatter and conform to my shape better.
Overall, extremely happy with this one! Read more 91 more words
About me: FOB, pendulous, centre full, short roots.
I’m loving this bra! I got it as part of Comexim’s Valentine’s sale. I may be obsessed with Comexim bras lol.
So I’ve had to go up a size in Comexim probably due to hormonal changes related to age, as my weight hasn’t really changed. I’m glad I did, it’s much more comfortable and I’m no longer quadding. I only got one alteration, straps moved in 1cm because I have found that too many alterations can really change the fit and not in a good way, and sometimes not all alterations get done. I’ve also figured out that 2cm is ...too much for me even though I have sloping narrow shoulders because I need support and containment for my soft side boob tissue.
This is a typical Comexim padded plunge bra, which has a thin layer of padding and 3 part cup. This has 3x4 hooks and the fabric is silky and soft with a slight sheen to it. The pattern is red with white and pink paisley type designs.
The cups are a bit too tall for me, but I have found that Comexims tend to soften with wear and wash and mould somewhat to my shape. Hence the pointy shape in the pics, which I know will soften over time. The bit of space near the straps/top of cups doesn’t really bother me, and the rest of the bra fits very well. Super comfy and supportive.
Overall, good fit, pretty, and usual Comexim comfort! Read more 146 more words
Fit: This and the 55K Elise were the first 3HCs I tried from Comexim. 55J fits me in their plunges, but 55J in 3HC is too small. Give the same alterations (and now that I've tried an unaltered 55J 3HC, apparently even without alterations) the cup depth in the same size seems to be consistently significantly smaller in 3HC than plunge. My boob tissue isn't soft enough to quad - it stubbornly resists changing shape or location. So I don't even get a pushup effect here, just a bra that sits on top of my boobs, wires and all - ouch!
Otherwise, it's a lovely bra. Nice firm band with sheer mesh fashion fabric over a white denser mesh against the skin. LOVE the 3 rows of hooks, it feels so much more comfortable and stable than 2. The pastel floral feels cool, calm and pretty. Straps are thinner and more elastic than my other Comexim straps. Cups are lined with a nice cottony white fabric.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Lowered cups, straps moved in, overlapping gore, 3x3 hooks
Ouch… a bra that sits on top of your tissue, that’s gotta hurt. I have an altered 55J 3HC which I just quad out of, having soft tissue. I’m thinking of getting an unaltered 55J plunge since my 55HH unaltered is too small, do you typically get alterations on the plunges? And 3 rows of hooks! Love that.
thecurvypetite I haven't tried an unaltered 55J plunge yet, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work for me. My standard alterations are lowered cups, straps moved in, and overlapping gore. For reference I'm 5'0 tall with a short torso, narrow frame, and short rooted boobs. Someone in a 26-band who's more average or tall with a larger-boned but skinnier frame might not need the alterations IMO.
Here's what I've tried so far: 55J plunge with alterations: fits 60HH plunge w/o alterations: good depth, way too tall 55J 3HC with alterations: not enough depth, a bit short but it's ok 55J 3HC w/o alterations: not enough depth, good height 55K 3HC with alterations: fits
ComeAtMe_Bra Ah, I see. Well, I might be able to get mine unaltered. Apparently the cup height of an unaltered 55J Plunge is around 15.9 cm? That's quite tall. I do well in my KH, which has a height of 14.6 cm. I do have quite a bit of breast tissue above where the cup ends with my KH though it is fairly shallow, so I'm wondering if my roots are functionally short. Does reducing the cup height of the 55J make it functionally smaller? (ie, fit like a 26F). sorry for all the questions, lol!
thecurvypetite I'm not sure... the cup depth on my altered plunges is a tiny bit less (0.25-0.75 cm) than the one unaltered plunge I tried, but that could be due to any of the alterations, the fact that the unaltered plunge was a sister size, different styles or just random variation. Interestingly my altered 3HC has the same unstretched cup depth as my unaltered one, but a bigger stretched depth, so fabric stretchiness is another factor. From my super limited experience with a handful of bras, reducing cup height seems to make the bra functionally smaller vertically, but perhaps not horizontally, and if so, only negligibly.
It's so disappointing this one didn't fit. I have this exact bra, but in a 60N, and I love it so much. I was thinking next time I order Comexim I am going to try a 55M though because I ordered the 60 band based on my old measurements but now I've lost some inches from my underbust. I totally relate to having boob tissue that stubbournly resists being moved by bras. I always feel like my boobs aggressively fight with my bras lol.
I bought this bra in October, and tried it on once...then proceeded to do nothing with it. I didn't even take it out of the box. Shame on me, I know. I had it made as a 3HC with overlapping gore and straps moved in 1cm. As far as I can tell, all alterations were done.
I was drawn to this bra for some reason. It was just so feminine and earthy looking. The bra reminds me of a summer wild flower field in the mountains, and I just wanted it. Unfortunately, I've also gained 10-15 pounds now, and my boobs are bigger than I thought right now. ...I tried to reorder in Dec, but they said they were so back logged it would be Jan before they could start to make a new bra, so I figured I'd just reassess later. Anyways, it's up for grabs now as I'm ordering a bra with a bigger band and cup.
The cups create a nice, rounded and plump profile. The straps are fully adjustable, and the band is pretty true to size. I stretched it a bit more than I normally would (and it would probably stretch 0.5cm more, but I was getting distortions). There are 3 hooks/eyes, which is nice, as well as straps that are not those super uncomfortable spaghetti things (my preference anyways).
The quality is excellent, appearance is excellent, and I'm assuming it would be as comfortable as every other comexim I own,...but I only tried it on once. Read more 142 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Made as 3HC, overlapping gore, straps moved in 1cm
This was ordered at the beginning of October, and I tried it on once, and have been procrastinating doing anything with it since. Finally! Here we are.
It is originally a plunge longline. I ordered it with straps moved in 1 cm, overlapping gore, and as a 3HC with 2 vertical seams. The only alteration that doesn't really seem done (which is unusual) is the overlapping gore. I meant to ask for it to NOT be a longline, but dumba$$ me forgot to include that little tidbit. Unfortunately, longlines don't really work on me because I have a rib flare, so they just roll up. It's also too ...small, as I've gained like 10-15 pounds in the last few months, and my boobs are bigger.
It's is quite a pretty bra. Super feminine and soft. There are lovely blue, cream, and beige flowers with muted green leaves. I wished it had worked. I was also not thinking, and I ordered it a month before the black friday sales. Oh well, hopefully someone will fit this one!
As a 3HC, the cups created a nice, rounded boob shape. I love the way I look in 3HCs, and they are my favorite cut out of any bra I've tried. I just need a bigger band and bigger cup.
Excellent quality and appearance. I only tried it on once so can't comment on comfort, but every single other Comexim 3HC I've ever tried is all day comfortable for me. Read more 137 more words

Okay, update from my previous entry. Lots to discuss!
I rc/d my second Sirene, it was a clearance item at Breakout Bras, so it was only like $21. As soon as I opened the package from Breakout, I was like "the band looks kind of small." Or maybe it's just b/c the cups were bigger and it was an illusion, lol. (cue to Illusion meme from Arrested Development).
Anywho, today I'm wearing this bra with an extender: the problem is, the extender prob makes the band a little too loose (I have it on the tightest setting), and it makes the straps go out further from the midline. ...The extenders probably a tiny bit itchy, compared to wearing a bra without an extender, too.
Okay, here is another point that I want to discuss; I do find this bra comfortable and supportive in this size; there is a little bit of gaping at the top of the cup on my smaller side, but the fact that I could also kind of wear 2 cups sizes smaller in this size (*with major cleavage boost*) is interesting; I wish I could try on the middle size and compare it (but it was a clearance item, so they only had certain sizes left).
Anyway, this is an interesting style, quite comfy, I do want to try more unpadded 3HCs and compare them in the future. The pattern on the bra is really pretty; this cup size is probably more suitable than the previous one I tried on - which I could fit, but it was a squish. Read more 156 more words
thank you, I'm wearing it right now, lol. I always want to try to wear my new bras right away...break them, I suppose. haha. happy sunday, fun day margesimpson .
My stats: 26HH/J according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and high set.
The look: Audrey is so cute! The cups and band are covered in tiny white polka dots, there's a double bow on the gore with two different ribbons, a black and white polka dot one and a hot pink one. The dots are textured so they will show through extremely thin shirts but otherwise they're so tiny that for all intents and purposes, it works as a basic black bra. It has a 3×3 hook closure and doesn't have any ...decoration near the straps.
The fit:
The fit is... unexceptional. It's oddly shallow and I get buckets of cleavage in it. The gore doesn't come near tacking. The wires are also slightly too wide and the straps are too far apart. It does have a good amount of immediate projection though. The material of the band is insanelystretchy so most of the support comes from the elastic sewn onto the band, making it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the fit is livable on me but isn't even close to perfect. Read more 88 more words
About me: FOB, a lot of immediate projection. Centre full, close set when supported, short roots, narrow to average width roots, pendulous, and probably some other traits I’m forgetting that also make bra finding difficult lol.
So there aren’t many Rozalias on here, but this one definitely runs shallow. I’m not sure if it’s just in my size range, in general, or this particular one? I did get straps moved in 2cm and cup height reduced 2cm. What’s weird is this one measures similarly to another comexim plunge I have in the size down with no alterations. I don’t know if this means anything…
Anyway, it’s a lovely ...colour and pattern and I was sad that it didn’t fit. It may look like it fits well but the wires do not stay in my IMF, they are at least an inch away or slide down. The gore doesn’t tack and tilts to one side. It’s somewhat uncomfortable near the bottom too. And holy boobarama right? I mean, most cups are way too tall for me so I guess the shallowness made this too short too?
I wish I could try these on in person before getting alterations because it’s really a gamble. Oh well, I still love Comexim and will get more lol. Read more 105 more words
This is a lovely bra that I ordered from Breakout Bras - my first order with them - they emailed me a 20% off coupon to entice me : ) It worked, lol.
However, I don't think this bra & me are meant to be as I'm having a hard time figuring out my sizing, and I plan on returning it for another bra : (
The problem with this bra is: I'm kind of in between band sizes 30 and 32. The band feels too loose in this particular bra (30GG/65J), maybe I'm just comparing it to the other Comexim bra I ordered (Basic Padded Plunge) where ...the band feels stronger. But if I were to "size down" any more in the band, that would put me at a 28 band, and I just think that would be too small (for example, today my "snug" band measurement is 29.5").
Also, the cups are a size too small - maybe they look okay in the picture, but to me = too small.
LadyNoName said with this bra to size one band down and three cups up; since my "normal" UK size is 30FF/G that would put me at 60K/L for the Onyks; that sounds to me like that probably is the right formula, however, another bratabase user review for this bra callie510 actually visited the Breakout Bras store and tried on the bras there, and said in her review that the 28 bands were all over the place, sooooo....after having to send this bra back, I'm just not sure that I would get something that is close to fitting. So, I plan to exchange it for a more "boring" and plain bra.
If I could go to the actual Breakout Bras store and try on the various 28 bands, etc., then I would probably take home this bra, this is the downside to internet shopping - not being able to try on many bras! Also, if I were to "size down" one band and "size up" three cups from 30G, that would put me at 60L, and for the basic padded plunge, I'm okay in 32G/70HH - to go all the way down to 60L for unpadded half-cup..that seems like an unlikely range for one person (maybe I'm just a skeptic!)
Anyway, I think this is a nice bra, I love colour, & other bratabase users have said this is a great fit, but this is a bra that I would like to be able to try on in multiple sizes.
TL; DR: A lovely bra, I just don't think it's meant to be b/c I live in Canada and I have to pay for the return shipping, and I don't want to have to send it back 3x. Read more 358 more words
It's a really pretty bra. Thanks for reviewing it.
I live in Canada too, and if you have PayPal, you can sign up for their free return shipping program. It's super easy to sign up and use, just read the rules first. As long as you pay for the order using PayPal, you can do a return valued up to $30 cnd up to 12 times a year. I've been using this service for a few years, and it works well. You just have to keep the return shipping receipt and take a picture of the package with all labels on. If you return it without tracking, they'll ask for proof of your return before refunding you (that's new this last year), so I usually get it with tracking now. If the company just deducts return shipping costs from your total return, you can get a refund that way too I'm pretty sure, I've just never had to do it that way, so not sure how.
Wilderness1 , thank you so much, I will look into this PayPal free return shipping program asap! As this sounds super useful for me with bra shopping, lol.
Unfortunately, I don't think I bought this first order using PayPal, but it's good to learn for the second time (live and learn!).
I'm planning just to exchange this bra for another Comexim Basic Padded Plunge in 32G(70HH), because I found that style works for me.
Wilderness1 ,but the pink and grey and the lace is totally my colour-scheme and style...
Edit: so maybe I'll order it another time...and use Paypal, so I can return it three times to get the perfect sizing (that's the tip).
It’s a beautiful bra and looks great on you! Sorry it didn’t fit the way you’d like. Good luck with the next one, hopefully it will work out for you!
Thank you, margesimpson ! (lol, I always kind of chuckle at your username ; )
I know that you have ordered direct from Comexim with requested alterations; I guess I have found my "base size" in the padded plunge (not this review but a different bra).
I don't know if I should request the alteration of having the straps moved in a bit - I'm kind of boarderline about it (Just thinking aloud here!) if I order directly from Comexim - since they have so many more colours and designs on Polish website. (again, just thinking aloud) I'm a bit taller than average, but not terribly so...I always feel like I have a narrow frame, but maybe I'm just average, lol.
My Basic Padded Plunge from Comexim - it got even better after I hand washed it - like so much softer, and it seemed to fit better! I hope it only gets better with time, lol, Go Comexim.
Happy Sunday/Funday!
margesimpson , but I don't think I'm going to order directly from Comexim again until November, like their Black Friday sale.
Yes, I know it's the end of March, and that's like 6 months away - but I honestly want to see if my bra size changes at all, from just wearing Polish bras, and "scooping and swooping" all the breast tissue forward instead of [wherever it was going ] when I was squishing myself into 32DD and 34DD bras from V.S.
So I will have 4-5 Polish bras (that I have already ordered) and my Curvy Kate bra, and see if my bra size changes at all in six months, from wearing "the proper size" you know.
We'll see!!!! Lol. Not that you asked...
"But I don't want to order new bra until Black Friday," . . . famous last words /s.
we'll see if I can resist the temptation that long...
BraOdyssey haha I’m glad my username made you chuckle, as it should!
Yeah I’ve given a time frame on my next order lol not sure if it will stick though I honestly hope my bra size doesn’t change for at least a year. I don’t want to go through the bra size calculation again for polish bras (cause now I really only want polish bras, I cannot deal with the gores in other bras anymore) Happy Sunday to you too!
I just exchanged a Comexim order for this one at Breakout bras! I love this bra on you, I’m sorry it didn’t fit :(
Stephanie from BB did tell me the band was stretchy on this one
I totally forgot to reply!! I'm so very glad you found my commentary helpful, thanks for mentioning that!! I think your logic is solid about not trying a smaller/28 band. I am 27.0" tight ribcage and I love 28's but I do occasionally throw in an extender. If I had the same experience where a 28 was loose, and a 26 existed, I would be too skeptical to try it. Sorry the style didn't work so well for you. I think this style is just risky for online shopping, exactly as you concluded. And honestly I bought the sister style but I regret it, I haven't ever worn it. There are better Comexim styles than the unlined ones imo. I hope you found some others that worked out!! You mentioned looking for "plainer" styles and my absolute fav Comexims are the "plain" ones tbh so I hope you had more luck :)
callie510 , thanks for your response! Girl, I love Comexim's basic bras, too. Basic Padded plunge is the only one that I've tried (in various sizes), it's a solid bra, and honestly their prices are good - compared to what I can buy here in my city. : / But thanks for leaving the feedback on bratabase; other people's stories/experiences with bra fittings definitely help! I'm jealous you can go right to the store and try all of these on! : )
I have admired this bra forever and am so happy to finally own one! It is stunning! The colour is a gorgeous deep teal with gold lace and embroidery in a pattern that reminds me of dandelions that have gone to seed. I was a bit worried about the size but it's actually pretty good- a great fit on my smaller side so I consider it a win. It stretches to 28" so it runs slightly small for a 65 band. The cups are deep and narrow and not too tall. They also taper in nicely on top. Straps are softly brushed on the underside and have a double strap design for about an inch and a half where they join the cups.

I just got this bra and I love it! The material is so soft and pleasant to touch. The pattern looks amazing. It's very comfortable. The shape it makes is slightly pointy under clothes but I'll see if it softens up wih time. Some info about my shape - slightly FOB, average roots, some projection. I normally wear 30D.
edit: another thing I like about this bra - the higher cups prevent my bust from jiggling when I walk and run
It is, isn’t it? I emailed Joanna to see what else was the same soft material and she said nothing really exactly. Adele and Lily are soft but Scottie is a unique fabric.
Yes the scottie fabric is by far my favourite. It is also my most comfortable and supportive bra. I have it in a 3hc ( with added depth )and I love it.
I wish bra companies would provide a sample of the materials they use with each order:D
There is no bra that has ever fit me better than Comexims. I am very close set, with less than a skinny finger width between my breasts, slightly FoT, and moderately wide rooted. In most other brands I am currently in the 30D-30DD-32D range, but for Comexim alone it is 30F, so use their fit guide instead of using your standard size if you are new to them. The shape of their plunge cups is perfect for me, as is the width of the gore, with no wires sitting on my breast tissue and no gapping anywhere. This bra is no exception, and particularly ...pretty. I love that the center bow is a subtle boxy shape that echoes the stripes, the satin shine is pleasingly contrasted with matte mesh and lace, and the overall look comes out very classy and sexy. I never get tired of the interior cotton lining either. This was my first completely new Comexim, and at first I was concerned the band was too tight, but after a couple of weeks with an extender I was able to drop the extender and it fits snug and firm. I could not be happier with this purchase. Read more 99 more words
After seeing Calluna 's scottie on her, I HAD to have one. Sadly, this one didn't work and I'll have to pass it on to someone else.
My stats for reference:
5'3, 28GG, FOT, tall and narrow roots, center full, projected, average to high set.
Look: This bra is so cute! I was worried that it would look too much like "Slutty Schoolgirl" and not enough "Sophisticated scottish patriot (lol)". I couldn't have been more wrong, this bra looks even more beautiful in person! It's covered in like a stretch-modal type plaid fabric that's super soft, you can definitely tell where the few extra zloty went.
Fit: Sadly, ...I can't say much about the fit as it didn't fit. It runs true to size as a 60, unlike Comexim's other fabric covered band bras. The cups may be slightly shallower than other plunges. The straps are very long, so this bra could easily accommodate someone taller or lower set than me.
Conclusion: This bra is perfect, it's just not my size. I'll be ordering it in a bigger size, 60K or 60L. I'll have to do some research to choose. I'll write a much longer review once it comes with the matching bottoms and garter. Read more 97 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Overlapped gore, gore raised by 1cm and 3 x 4 hook & eye
My usual UK size is 28FF or possibly G because I was getting quad boobs in the Marcie in 28FF but not a lot in the Envy. My leaning bust is 35" so I'm not sure if I would fit into a 28G. My shape is projected, full on top and centre, with tall and narrow roots, super close-set and soft tissue.
I had this exact same bra in 60J which was too small/shallow with empty space at the bottom of the cups and dramatic cleavage, so I ordered a 60K instead.
This cups are shallow, I guess that's why I needed a 60K. It fits OK on me, although there is some spillage to the centre so I wish the gore was a bit higher. It is narrow though which is great for my super close set boobs. However, if I put my arms in front (like typing on the keyboard), there is some gapping. The wires are narrow for this size.
The band runs tight, although not by a full band size in my opinion.
This was my impulse buy, since I was originally looking at one of ten thousand other Comexim bras that day. I just thought "hey, I've never owned a pure white bra". Anyways, it's very lovely on, and quite comfortable. I ordered it with straps moved in 1cm, overlapping gore, made as a 3HC, and as a 60 band. As far as I can tell, all alterations were made. It fits just like my other 60J Comexim half cups - nice and round, uplifted (gives the illusion of upper fullness).
The straps are a bit wider than your average straps, so ...they are comfy. The band is a bit stretchy for a 60, but it still supports me. I could have stretched it further in measuring it, but the bra/cups were starting to distort. Note that I did wear it once before measuring (usually I measure first). The back of the band has a keyhole kind of look (not sure how else to describe it, so I attached a picture).
This bra does have a trim around the upper cups, so just be aware of that if you have a lot of upper fullness. It cuts into my upper boobs ever so slightly. I do have minor bubbling on my larger side, but this is how I like my bras to fit (fitted on my smaller boob, slightly bubbling on my bigger boob). It's not that I like bubbling, I just hate gaping.
I got the matching thong ("stringi") in medium. I measure about 36.5" high on my hip, and about 38.5" around the biggest part of my bum. They fit great and look nice with the matching bra.
Overall, top quality (especially for the price), well made, comfortable, and very pretty. Read more 189 more words

Very nice. I’m not sure what I think about all white bras. I used to love them but then learned that they are not really good under white. And I branched into colours. I’m still partly intrigued with all white though.
Calluna Pretty much all my clothes are dark, so I never even thought about how it would look under the tops. I just wanted all white for the novelty of it I think! I'm worried that it'll get coloured, even with careful washing, but it'll be a nice option anyways.
Yup. That’s the other reason. I also wear a lot of dark colours. I actually sold/traded my Bezowa because I was worried that it would get dingy from other colours even though it was a great fit and beautiful.

This is so pretty! I'd be terrified to own a pure white bra. I wear too many dark tops. Thanks for reviewing!
Another lovely bra! Congratulations!
Yeah, I have a feeling this one will have a short life span before it becomes "just another bra" due to it being white and getting discoloured, but I'll enjoy it until then anyways. It has a great shape under clothes either way, so even if it gets discoloured, I'll still wear it.
Omgooosshh, the fit looks really good on this!
