Welp. This was my first ever true comexim bust. This bra runs 1-2 cups small and maybe even a band, but it could just feel tight because it's sitting on tissue. I'll try the upside down and backwards test. I can't really assess the fit since it's so far off from fitting me. It seems to run slightly shallow, but the wires are still narrow, so I'd say it just runs small. It's absolutely stunning though. I had the panties made into a thong.

I am sorry it does not fit. I do not find mine small though? it fits me the same at all my other Comexims, perhaps a little lower cut on me. I am narrow, projected, close set and full on top. I had no alterations but it did come with an overlapped gore

    • 2

Yeah, I have no idea what happened. No amount of adjusting would make it fit. It fits like a 28FF. Msybe mine is just an anomaly.

  2. Hot Chocolate Plunge

Ok, so I keep putting off reviewing this bra. I had hoped to get feedback from Anna on this and the 70H - Comexim » Triss 3hc but it hasn’t happened because of the changes last month. Nevertheless, should I get the feedback, I’ll update this post.

    Now about the bra....

I have wanted this bra for so so so long. I love the brown base and salmony coral lace overlay. I love that it had texture yet still relatively flat. The matching shorts are cute, and while I’m not really a fan of the boy short style as they do not generally flatter my figure, ... I still wanted them. I did consider asking if they could be made in a different style but decided to stick with the szorty.

I was finally in a position to get it at long last, and I had multiple email conversations with Anna about what size to try based on the fit of the 65HH - Comexim » Jade Plunge , 65J - Comexim » Ingrid Plunge Bra (289) , and 32FF - Anna Pardal For Comexim » Lady Grey Sophisticated Balcon

The volume of the Jade is/was fine, but the cups were too tall and the straps were too widely spaced. The Ingrid is pretty good, but it’s slightly too large, however the way it closes on top helps hide that, and it’s a little more coverage than I expect from a plunge as a result. I wanted to try it because of the alterations (straps moved in 2cm, 2cm depth at wire, reduced cups though it was questionable if that was really fine) as the Jade was unaltered. Nevertheless, it is still a fave. The Lady Grey is is also altered (equivalent to the Jade with 2cm straps moved in, 2cm lowered gored, and 2cm reduced cups) and a little bit small on my big boob. This one is also a fave. So with this in mind, including pictures and videos, Anna opted to make this as a 70H with straps moved in 2cm, gore reduced by 1cm, and 2cm more depth at the wire. I admit that I was a bit surprised at the combination, especially with the cups not reduced, but I figured I would try it and see.

With all this in mind, the fit is pretty good. It’s not 100% perfect, so it’s not my perfect size and alterations. It’s not going to stop me from wearing it though, and if I figure out what is my best size and alterations are, I might try to reorder it again. The band is pretty tight, so I definitely couldn’t have done a 65 in this one. The 70 is snug and fits well on my 28.5” but somewhat sensitive ribcage. The band is covered with the lace that covers the cups, so I am not surprised by a snug band. The straps feel like they’re a little bit wide, making me question the alteration, but I have compared with the straps on my Ingrid and they overlap exactly the same, so...? The cups seem like they are a little bit full coverage, like the Ingrid, which is not inherently a bad thing, just an observation, and the cup volume is maybe a bit more than I need, by like maybe a quarter of an inch. I’m still waiting to ovulate, but it might be better for high tide boobs, if I ever get there. I’m not sure if I need the added depth or not. Maybe I need 1cm? Maybe none? I’m not sure if reduced cups on added depth really leads to a shorter cup. I feel like they negate each other as more depth means my breasts settle in lower and even removing depth makes them still tall. I’m not sure if it’s a solid theory. Tightened the straps a little bit more and the gapping is not as bad. I’m not sure if I need a reduced gore. I don’t think it hurts, but I’m not sure if it’s a benefit to me. The cup width of this bra is fine. The wings seem a little bit tall, especially with the smaller 2x3 hook tape, but it’s not a problem, just a visual aesthetic.

I ordered a Queen of Hearts with the Valentine’s Day sale in a 65HH (because it shows band is stretchy in the measurements here) with straps moved in, overlapping gore and 2x4 hooks. So we’ll see what the fit is like in the cups with minimal alteration. I’m hoping that I can get away with only straps moved in as the fewer alterations, the better.

The szorty was really tight. You can see the difference in the width at the hips in my pictures. I did break the seams at the hip area on top and, combined with washing them, it fits better. The lace is still a bit rigid but it’s more wearable, especially with the leg hole moved to my crease to fit more like a hipster or cheeky, as the back side is not total coverage.

I do really love this set. It’s not a perfect set, but it’s comfortable and I wear it as much as I can.

    Update Dec 2020:

So I added a few more recent pictures to the profile that show a more accurate representation for the current fit. I took them to add to an email to Joanna along with the Queen of Hearts and Lady Grey for suggestions on alterations. The response I got was, if it like the fit of the Hot Chocolate, stick with the same alterations. I did reply back saying that I felt it was maybe a little bit too large and too tall still, and would it be too much trouble to also reduce the cups or would reducing the cup depth from 2cm to 1cm reduce the volume and cup height slightly, so we’ll see if I get a response. Just curious about the feedback from here on the fit and where you think an alteration is needed. I might opt to post a fit request.

    • It looks gorgeous on you! The fit looks really good.

    • Thanks, Sonya. You think the fit is ok?

    • The fit looks great in the pics.

    • Do you feel like you're getting support in the cups Calluna or is it too deep? Is your centre tissue contained? ( It looks like it is in the picture, but it's always hard to tell in pictures). I wonder if you could do with just a shorter cup of 2 cm and no added depth? I'm interested to see what the queen of hearts will look like on you with fewer alterations. Has it shipped yet? In my experience, I can do fewer alterations in the right size, so hopefully you have that same experience too. All I do now is straps moved in 1 cm and overlapping gore.

    • I feel like this one is a smidge too deep/tall/big. Not by a lot, though. Maybe a 1/4” or less. I’m not sure if keeping the depth and reducing the height is the best option which is why I ordered the Queen of Hearts with no added depth or reduced height.

The way I see it, I had a few options for the cups:

      -added depth and reduced cups
      -less added depth
      -no added depth
-no added depth and reduced cups

      *unsure about the gore height

With the first option, I could add 2cm, reduce 2cm, but I wonder if it’s redundant. I could try 2cm added but only 1cm reduced cups. I could also try added 1cm and reduced 1cm but again, redundant? Cups are scaled in 2cm increments, so I feel like this current fit is basically a 70HH without reduced cups (and straps moved in and reduced gore).

With second option, I could try just adding 1cm of depth which might be the best of both worlds. Less depth might mean lower cups.

If I reduced cups without added depth, I wouldn’t do 2cm, or it might be a little bit too small like Lady Grey.

Given that I have a multitude of options, I opted to try the least alterations first.

It has shipped, yes, but the tracking said final destination was USA. I spoke to Joanna and she’s not sure what happened and said that she would send me another one the next day. Which kinda makes me nervous that the alterations will not be done unless it was a priority remake. But I’m trying to be hopeful. I’m hoping to get it in the next week, as it will be a month from the day I ordered on the 16th.

    • Well it'll be really interesting to see how the queen of hearts turns out. Hopefully it fits as is! Glad you got another one shipped out to you so fast. I'm sure she just prioritzed sewing it for you.

    • 1

Thanks. I’m anxious to try it. I had to evaluate all of Comexim plunges I’ve had or tried and attempted to use the fit information of each to make an educated guess.

I hope it was re-sewn for me custom and shipped out right away. I did never get her to confirm that she got my request for alterations but it is in the order messages and I did repeat it I’m my email with the mailing address. I hope it’s here soon.

    • My Queen of Hearts definitely has a larger/stretchier band than most of my other 60s. It's also super comfy and moulds to my body nicely. I hope you get a great fit!

    • Thanks Sonya . I used the measurements here for reference and matched with what I have already tried and felt like it would be ok in the 65 for this one.

    Didn't fit

This is such a beautiful bra. I have been considering getting one since it came out. Since my 100L - Comexim » Ginger Plunge Bra (365) was a little small in the cup(or so I thought) I sized up to 100M for this bra.

Obviously that was a big mistake. This bra is at least a cup and band size too big- a 95M would probably fit my big side well and gap a bit on my smaller side which is how I normally wear bras.

I can hook the bra very easily on the last hook so the band is a size too big. ...

Materials: the band is double-lined mesh and the exterior fabric is a soft buttery simplex. Everything is very soft and comfortable, just like always with Comexim.

Fit: besides the large size, this bra will probably be a winner. The shape given is rounded and exposed. It’s slightly plunging but isn’t a true plunge like the Ginger (which probably fits me but is a bit too plunging which is why I thought it was too small). The wires are nearly too narrow, but are too soft to support me. I replaced them with super strong Panache wires and the gore tacks and the cups fit closer under my arms but the gaping is even more pronounced.

I think I’m going to order a 95M because I love the beautiful bird print so much. Cranes are so special and this print just makes me happy. I was so sad it was too big but happy that I can just order it again in a better size.

This is my first Comexim 3HC though it happens to be a bikini top! For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11").

I noticed the cups are quite small for this size when I was measuring the bra, but they stretch a lot since it's swimsuit fabric. I still get some quadding but nothing that bothers me too much for a bikini top.

The band is stretchy but still supportive. The straps are very comfortable and don't sit in my armpits. The bikini has a gold clasp that snaps in the back and seems pretty secure. It seems like it'll hold its shape pretty well ... in water, but I'll have to update this review after testing it. I love the sleek black design, and overall it makes for a great simple bikini top that can pair with any swim bottom!

I'm wondering if this 3HC is comparable with regular 3HC bras? I've never tried a Comexim 3HC, because I thought it wouldn't work well for my FOB breasts. Though I'm wondering if this bikini works because the fabric is more forgiving...It does make me curious about trying 3HCs though!

This looks great! I agree that black is so versatile for a bikini, matches everything which is nice! Please update when you wear, I wonder if it’ll stretch a lot when wet? I think this should be similar to a regular 3HC bra for sure.

    • 2

braluv Thank you! Yes, I was wondering if it would get heavier or stretch when it's wet also. I'll keep you updated!
And thanks for your input. Looks like I'll need to try some regular 3HC bras!

    • 2

The cups seem smaller in this swim top compared to their regular 3HCs. For referencce, most people measure Comexim 60HH half cups with a depth of around 8.3-8.7. Since you're getting some quadding with this, and you have it measured at just over 7, I'd guess this would be your size in Comexim 3Hcs, as they measure deeper than this does.
I've always wanted to try Comexim swimsuits. I'll be watching for your update too, as I'm curious how they do when wet.

    • 1

dtane18 , this bikini top looks good! I agree with the others that you want it on the tight side because it'll stretch when wet. Let us know how it does out in the field!

    • 2

UPDATE: I wore it to swim today, and it held up really well! It didn't feel heavier or drag down when drenched with water. It was very secure, and I didn't have to readjust or anything which is very surprising considering I was swimming laps in the pool!

For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11"). I bought this bra through r/braswap, and the previous owner said it was altered with the straps moved in 4cm and gore lowered 2cm to fit like a 28F (though labeled as 28GG).

This is my first Comexim, and it's a beautiful bra and in great condition! The moved in straps are amazing, since most of the bras I've tried previously were too wide and cut into my arms. I do get weird wrinkling and emptiness at the top of the cups near the strap, especially on my smaller side. I think this is because ... the cups are quite tall, which gives me a very full coverage look.

Besides that, everything else is very comfortable. The band feels supportive but not too tight even on the loosest hook despite the used condition. The gore tacks, and the wires don't slide down throughout the day. Not a bad fit for my first Polish bra! Though I will be looking into Comexim bras with lower cups in the future.

For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11"). I purchased this bra through r/braswap, so I'm unsure if there are any alterations. The bra is a beautiful beige color with a floral design and orange accents, and it gives me autumn vibes.

I was afraid this wouldn't work for me, since it's only my second Comexim and I'm still trying to figure out sizing. I'm so happy this is overall a good fit and very comfortable! The cups are a little tall on the sides, so they cut into my armpit but no gaping at the top of the cups like I usually have ... with other tall styles. There's some slight gaping near the gore on my smaller side, but I'm unsure why that's happening.

The straps a slightly wide but still placed better than Panache/Freya bras I've tried. I may look into getting customized Comexims with the straps moved in. The band needs to be a little tighter, so I'll probably look for 60HH bras to try in the future. Fortunately, this bra came with 4 rows of 2 hooks, so I'm using the second farthest row.

The narrow wires are comfortable and not too firm like my Panache Cari bra, but they are a little too high in my armpit. They follow my breast roots very well but maybe a little too well? I honestly can't tell if it's sitting on my breast tissue near my armpit on my right side, because the wires follow my roots so closely. I don't feel any pain or discomfort, but I speculate that my right side may have a slightly wider root compared to lefty.

The cups pull my breasts up front and center and give me a round lifted shape I've never had in my previous bras, and I love it. Comexim, where have you been all my life??

    Didn't fit

After about 6 weeks waiting, finally it comes.

I have never expected that a 2HC can give me such a good wearing appearance. Maybe just a coincidence, it's not mega wide and shallow as I thought (actually with 14.5 cm cup width and 22.7 cm cup depth). It fits my conical shape and makes a deep cleavage. Although the mark of the wire still doesn't run along my IMF, my breast tissue can be spread due to the pressure by the cup when I am wearing it, fills the bottom perfectly and doesn't escape from the armpits. But if I try to pull the band up to let ... the mark completely sit in my IMF, it hurts. I'm not sure if I should return it back to get a 3HC or any alterations for a better fit, any suggestions below are welcome.

The dark blue lace on the nude colour is a beautiful match. Ribbons and the "eyelashes" on the cup top make the bra looks more gorgeous. The cups are soft moulded inside and very comfortable to wear.

The width of the gore bottom is 3.6 cm, the depth of the cup top is 21.2 cm. So this bra may also fit the round shape with more center fullness. It has 5 columns of hooks, I hope it can have a longer life than my other bras.

Edit: Finally I pulled the wire into my IMF, but then it seems a little bit too big for me, so I decided to return it back.

I think it looks great! I haven't tried the Victoria or padded 2HC, but I've seen a lot of reviews saying 3HC's are deeper, and the Victoria (no matter in what cut) is wider and shallower. I think you can try some other 3HC, both padded and non-padded, except for Ginger and Victoria.

This is the last of the four bras that Wilderness1 sent me to try after I tried the 65J Belen and thought it might fit better with alterations. That said, this is the only bra of the 4 that actually has no alterations. The Bridget that she initially had was a 65J with alterations and was still a bit big/tall and less than a perfect fit, so she traded her modified Bridget for this unmodified one.

As Mary Poppins’ measuring tape said about her, this bra is “practically perfect in every way” although it is not completely perfect. For example, the straps are a ... bit wider than I prefer, and “maybe I can do like 1cm shorter cups. But it’s a really good fit, considering it is as is. This one was not for sale and I had to send it back. Of the people who I shared the pictures and video of initially, everyone commented that it was a great fit.

The beigey lilac or taupe lace is very sheer, with the vertical cuts and straps in black. It’s an interesting contrast. I’m not sure if I prefer it this way or would prefer it more monochromatic. The lace is not incredibly soft or anything but it’s definitely not irritating to me. It’s a very lightweight bra. This was initially a longline, so I guess you could say it is modified, but just not in the way you think of when you think about alterations.

My tissue is soft and center full, and while I’m actually even fullness, my tallish roots are shallow and I functionally fit as short rooted and full on bottom. This bra is just the right height for my big boob but a little bit tall for my small one, which is why I say maybe I could reduce the cups a tiny bit. But it’s a little bit too risky when the big side does fit pretty well.

I’m a little bit surprised at the band because I thought it would fit tighter than it did, even though I have heard it’s a stretchy band. I think I was ok with the middle hooks on this one, though it might’ve been a lot tighter when it was new.

There’s still the original 65J with alterations in the listings that I have considered, though now I see that it might not fit that well. This bra actually has me looking at other soft cup longlines on the site like Tara and Black Swan. I’m seriously considering going with one of them as a 3HC. Could it be my new black workhorse bra?

That’s really lovely on you. I do love Comexim aesthetic, and they tend to be cheaper than some other brands. If you only ask for the straps moved in you are much more likely to get that done vs requesting a ton of alterations, so this might be a great fit solution for you!

I recently got a 65J Belen 3HC which is beautiful, but not a perfect fit. While the bra band was a bit snug, the cups did fit, but were a little bit too tall for my functionally short roots. So Wilderness1 was super kind and generous to offered to send me a bunch of her altered Comexims to try. Looking at the list, some looked like they were going to be too small, and some looked like they had similar enough measurements and alterations, so I narrowed it down to 4 bras (one of which is actually Anna Pardal, which was made by Comexim). ... I had the option to purchase two of them, and this is one of them, though spoilers: I didn’t.

This bra came to me from her, but it was from another user, so I can’t fully gage how much it has stretched out. I was able to comfortably clasp it on either of the two middle sets of hooks (has 4 columns). The black lace on top of the champagne layer is striking, in the same way it was on my Victoria (which was navy lace). It’s got a bit of black lace to edge the cups instead of the eyelash lace that Victoria has.

Sadly, it’s still not a great fit. Straps moved in are ace, but the cups are still a bit tall and guppy, especially at the straps where my tissue is not prominent. Even though it’s got 2cm reduced cups, it’s got 2cm added depth at the wire, which negates the reduced cups in my opinion. My boobs just settle lower in the cups and still run out of tissue by the time they reach the top of the cups. I think that this set of alterations, minus the added depth, would fit me better. I’m not convinced that the lower gore is a benefit either. Or perhaps a 70H with added depth at the wire. Not sure if that would work any better or differently.

Because it’s a little bit taller and open still, it is quite visible under my tops. I tried a few to see if I could get it to work with anything, but the cup edge was still a bit noticeable. Unless I wore a cami or tank over it under my tops.

Somewhat sad it didn’t work, but I am glad to have tried it. It makes me think that maybe my Ingrid really does have reduced cups, but simply irrelevant or redundant due to the added depth.

This is a very pretty bra and so comfortable. I ordered this bra after realizing that my Comexim bras in 80J are not fitting as well as they used to. I asked for increased depth at the wire, reduced cup height and for the straps to be moved in. I’m not sure about the straps, but the other modifications were done. I’m FOB, projected and centre full, and this bra works well for me. I was worried I would be swimming in this bra, but that is not the case. In my old bras, I was noticing that I had more back fat hanging over the band ... than I’d noticed before. With this bra, my back is smooth and all my tissue seems to be contained in the cups. I like the increased wing height in this size as it keeps my sides smoother looking, too. The pattern on this bra is very delicate and I have not had issues with it being noticeable under my clothes. The bra is very pretty, supportive and provides good support.

At this point, this bra is my best fitting bra and I’m in need of more bras in this size. I am not sure if this is just the natural progression of things as my breasts adjust to properly fitting bras or if this increased cup size is something temporary (although it’s now been an issue for a few months, so hormones can’t be blamed and I can’t hold off any longer on not ordering more bras). While I love the idea of the half cup bras, I am more successful in finding Comexim plunge bras that work for me and I’ll be sticking with the plunge style on my next order. I’m not sure, at this cup size, if I should order one bra without mods to see how it fits in comparison. I’m wondering if the immediate projection I need would be met with a standard K cup or if I should get the same modifications that I’ve requested for this bra.

Oh, that's a delicate finish yet sturdy hugger ;) Glad you feel great init, a good bra makes a good day !

And, yes, I can confirm: Boobs do adjust to bras. No kidding, tissues and skin can undergo permanent plastic deformation if subjected to constraints for long enough.

Reported by many and successfully used in natural breast growing enhancement methods.

Actually an old but somehow forgotten "trick".

    • 2

Congrats on getting a good fit out of this one. It looks great!

I have this bra and it's pretty shallow at the wire compared to my other Comexims. If you do the no mods test, I wouldn't pick this one.

    • 1

Sovavosi, thanks! I was considering an unmodified Basic plunge. I have an 80J that seemed fairly deep relative to other bras I have. I seem to have a little more top fullness than before, so hopefully not reducing the height won’t be a huge issue. Some of my bras that gaped at the top are now filled. Do you know what Comexim plunges are deeper at the wire?

    • 2

I think Patricia and Curaçao were better, but those are extra deep cuts. Their regular plunges are all too shallow for me.

    • 2

I second Patricia. Also the plain "basic" plunge seems to run small per the reviews I've read, so I would suggest reviewing the data here on BtB before ordering the Basic. From my experience, customizations are iffy with Comexim. Rarely are they all done, so try to keep them to a minimum of the most important. When they are done, they are great, but when they're skipped the fit is horrible &/or uncomfortable.

This one looks like grear fit on you.

    • 1

*This one looks like a great fit not grear. Sorry. Darn small phone keyboard!

    • 1

MamaPagan, thanks! I’m considering ordering without alterations if I can find the right bra because it’s so hit and miss with their mods. I usually just ask for reduced cup height and deeper at the wire, but I’m wondering if I can get away with deeper at the wire without reducing the cup height. The Mimi (which was a terrible fit- I thought it was a 3HC and it’s a 2HC) was definitely cut too low with the mods. I thought I owned the Basic plunge in 80J, but it’s the Elena and I’m thinking I may be able to get away with ordering it without mods in 80K.

    • I do hope it works out for you! I haven't had the best of luck with Comexim bras, but with so many here that have I am thinking it's just due to my odd size.

There is always the Breakout Bras option which has easy returns and you get them within a week. They don't always fit like Comexim direct, but it is a fast way to try a few different patterns or styles out without risk.

    Didn't fit

I ordered this one in a 30KK because it was on clearance for $18 and I couldn’t resist. I figured if nothing else, it would be a great “I don’t want to wear a bra today because my skin screams with sensitivity” bra when I want a bit of support but not the constricting feel of a bra.

Queen of Hearts is a standard Comexim padded plunge. It has black cups and band, with a red cradle and straps. Mine came with just red accents on black straps though, so there appears to be some variations.
I have always been fond of the look of this bra, and ... had it a few years ago in a 65N, so with the super low price, I couldn’t resist trying it again.

    As for fit,
The band is what I’d call comfy loose on the tightest hook set. It is wearable and good for a lounge day but not supportive for an active day. Great for tender rib days.

The gore sits 2.5 fingers off the sternum and the cups fit with a swoop n scoop but could stand to be a bit smaller (or to have the straps moved in a bit) since I get a small amount of gore gaping with the slightest slouch. This wouldn’t be noticeable under shirts, but I do slouch a lot, haha, so it will be noticeable to me. I will note that the Magic 28KK I also ordered measures larger in depth but shorter in cup and gore height, and I have center spillage and minor quadding with that one. I’m not sure if it’s just the wider set straps on this one or if the cup/gore height needs to be between the two for a better fit. I may move the straps in on this one at some point and see if that lessens the cup resistance.

    And for the technical aspects:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 23.75” and stretches to a max of 34” with little effort. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.
This makes this one much more of a 34 band than a 30 band which is quite surprising. I wonder if this was a former return that may have been worn a few times before returning.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

Overall, I am happy I ordered this one. It will be a comfort bra for one of my sensitive days which occur more often lately.

  12. Ingrid Plunge Bra (289)

    65J

    Fits

This bra is a swap from Sonya. I’ve always loved Ingrid with her soft autumn colours and delicate design. I remember seeing it reviewed in the Dreams and Underthings blog. It’s one of the bras that’s been on my mind for at least a year. When I borrowed the 30G (65HH) Jade Plunge from Sonya, it was a great help to see the fit. The things that bothered me most about the Jade were the tall cups and wide straps. This Ingrid was supposed to be altered with straps moved in, reduced cups, increased depth at the wire so I was certainly interested in trying ... it, despite her saying that she was pretty sure that the cups were not reduced.

So I sent her my 65G S Mojito because, as much as I loved the colour and look on me, I hated having to wear with cookies for the cups to fit other than a few days around my period as it created more shallowness when I need depth at the wire. I think it’s a good trade. The mojito fits her better than me, and this one fits me pretty well. I feel like I might have a little more room in the cups for swelling, but it’s not obvious that it’s slightly too big in the cups because of the way that they sit on my tissue. I feel like my nipples sit a tiny bit lower than the apex of the bra. I can concur that the cups are still pretty tall and don’t appear to have been reduced. Straps do appear to be in a little bit and fit a bit better, but I think it’s another armpit eater. Depth at the wire seems good, and feedback from a friend that has had Ingrid before is that it looks like it’s got the extra depth alteration completed. I think that the cups would be perfect if they really were reduced.

I noticed that it is a 3 hook back, which must start at J cups and up. It’s a little bit difficult, depending on how much trouble my hypermobile joints want to give me. Some days it’s quite easy and a struggle at times still. The straps are a ribbed texture...quite thick. Not the easiest to adjust, but they will stay put. Band seems comfortable with my 28”-28.5” under bust.

Overall, it’s a pretty good bra. It would be ideal with reduced cups, but for now, I think I can manage, and this tells me that a 65J with reduced cups and straps moved in should be a winning combination. My soft tissue is contained, and the added immediate depth gives my pendulous tissue the space at the wire to keep the wires in my imf. Being center full, I’m always going to get more spilling in the middle, but it’s not bad here. Wires are pretty narrow. Cups are soft, though not as soft or light in comparison with Ewa’s PLs.

I’m glad to have a chance to try this bra at long last.

    • This looks great!

    • It looks lovely; I too have had a longing for Ingrid, but I’ve not yet been able to find the right size. I think I have two ‘no way’ Ingrids in my closet, sadly.

    • 1

Good colours on you! I also found my Comexim plunges to be armpit eaters. That's why I never wore them. For fully padded plunges I prefer my Ewa also.
I have recently discovered semi-soft bras though and they're my new faves.

    • Looks great. I found the Comexim plunges to be a little tall too. The apex doesn't sit in the right spot on me, so I only wear their half cups. I once requested cups reduced too, but it was never done. I'm not sure how often they actually complete that modification. Every bra I've ordered past J has thicker straps and 3 hooks. I like that actually, as I find it gives better support. Glad you found a Comexim you like.

    • 1

I have often thought they did not reduce the cup height on mine, but what they are not doing is moving in the straps. This makes the cups seem taller than they are. Unfortunately the only way to tell this is get one that has no modifications and compare it to that.

Also, I've noticed there is a max amount they will reduce the cup height. I've asked for 2cm in the past but the max they will do for me is 1cm. When I ask them to move in straps 2cm they do not do it at all, or if they are, that means the straps for my cup size are so far out that 2cm is not enough.

    • This looks beautiful on you- the fit looks great!

    • Thanks everyone. I do love the colours of this one. The fit is pretty good but would be perfect with lower cups. I’m probably going to go for some half cups soon.

    • I wore it all day today at work and I can honestly say that the straps moved in is huge in my comfort. I wasn’t really aware of the cup height or armpit curve much today. Bra felt light and comfortable and like it was molded to my body. Not quite same as Ewa but I was pretty happy with the fit today. I feel like cup height is more of an aesthetic, but I definitely want to try it out on a custom at some point. But given that Ingrid is a little bit of a unique cut from what I gather, I question what size to alter...same?

    • I agree that cup height is more aesthetic. Straps moved in makes a much bigger difference in comfort. I have an Ingrid in 60K that fits pretty TTS as compared to my other 60K plunges. I would order a cup size up if you want to try alterations, though.

    • To clarify, I think a 65J would be perfect with alterations.

    • Thanks Sonya.

    • Beautiful bra. You should totally try the half cups, I feel like the slightly shorter height does help with gaping up top (at least I think it does for me).

    • Just wanted to follow up and say that I really love this bra. It’s really comfortable and so much better with the straps moved in. I wear it regularly. I still think it would be better with reduced cups, but this is a pretty good fit for me.

  13. Celebration Padded Plunge

My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

So this bra fits pretty well!! My previous review of the other size is here: http://bra.pe/X0Xk/

My shape: close set, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

I ended up going to a 32 band to be comfortable and I can wear it on the second loosest hook which is great since there are still two more tighter hooks for the future.

The cups fit well and gives a nice profile under clothes, looks projected and rounded, very perky. The width seems to be great for me ... and the top of the cups is not closed, nor is it open, so I feel it works well. Sometimes when it’s too closed, it cuts into my soft tissue, and when too open it just gaps too much and I hate that. It can gap ever so slightly on the outer upper part of the cup (near the straps) depending on how I move my torso, but it's barely noticeable very minor that it doesn't show or annoy me. The gore is comfy (yay!) and tacks. Doesn’t bother my close-set breasts. It's lightly padded, so no nipple show-thru. You can see the seams of well-fitted shirts, but I don't mind.

Other things I love: the straps are nice and wide and the band is U-shaped in the back and has 3 hooks which feels so much nicer than having 2. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this bra.

Edited to add: After having this bra for a while, I can confidently say that it's an awesome fit for me. After adjusting the hook closure and straps, the wires follow and stay closely under my IMF. Also it's super comfy, I'm so impressed by how "soft" it feels for all day wear.

It is a Breakout Bras style. Not sure if it’s an exclusive or not.

    • 1

This looks gorgeous! I love the colour!

    • 1

Thank you Calluna I also wanted to say I tried out the Curvy Kate Ellace bra you suggested and it's pretty awesome as well for my shape. 😀

    • Thank you xuenylom On their website it says it's exclusive to Breakout Bras.

    • Thank you Sonya

    • 1

I’m glad that the Ellace worked out. What size did you get?

    • Calluna I tried the 30F first, band was way too tight (painful even!!) with an extender, and when I tried it upside down couldn't keep it on for more than 15 mins.

So I returned that and ordered both 32E and 32F, the F is too big, wrinkling on the inside of the cup near the gore and top lace part is somewhat loose. The 32E is much better, the lace cuts in just a *little*, but I'm not too bothered since it's not very noticeable. I love the firmness of the band, it makes me feel very supported. I added measurements, but I will try to take some pics and review each this weekend hopefully! 🙂

    • 1

Awesome. My 30Es were really tight but I was ok using a row or two of extender, but it was also a bit small in the cup so I’m sure that was part of it. I don’t know if I should go 30F or 32E for myself. I’m not sure if I can do a 30FF or 32F. I really want to try a different size though, because I did really like the immediate depth and shape, as well as the light feel. It’s also a bit classy without being granny.

    • Calluna I agree, it looks like nice classic bra, not granny at all. I think if you like a snug band, you will probably love the 30 size more.

    • I have a 28” under bust but need 29” to be comfortable and supported. My 30Es only stretched to 28.5” so I could do them up but not wear them for a long period. I definitely needed at least one row of extender hooks. I think that I would probably be ok with the 32 because I have a good rotation of bras that it would not stretch out too fast even if it was on the middle hooks straight away. By your measurements, the 32 band is probably ideal in this cut.

    Didn't fit

    For You Bralette 60R (28LL)

For You is a wireless unpadded triangle bralette. Its design is very simple, like a triangle bikini top, with a singular wide strip of elastic for the band.

While I ordered this one in a 60Q (28L) they sent a bra with a 28LL label, or size 60R instead. That being said, I don’t think it is a 60R based on the size of the cups and their fit. Honestly, I’d peg it as a 60P max, or more realistically a 65O when factoring in the band.

    For the measurements:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is ... obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 21.125” and stretches to a max of 30”. It has 2 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 11”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 13”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

While these figures are very small for my range, by nature of the open cup formation and wirelessness, these figures are a bit misleading and don’t reflect the true cup depth availability. As mentioned above, I feel this bra is more of a 65O/60P max, not a 60Q/60R for sure.

    As for fit,
The band feels fine on the tightest hookset, but does not offer any support due to the nature of the single elastic band with minimal attachment. This means that all the support comes from the straps. The straps are barely long enough as I have them completely let out, they feel tighter than I would prefer and force the band to sit higher on my back than it should. Yet, as mentioned, they are the only source of support so any looser and the bra would be useless for anything aside from modesty. The gore area is well over 4 fingers off the sternum (yes I can stick my whole hand perpendicular to my sternum and still not have my hand touch the bra), but this is expected given how small the cups are & their construction. I get cut in (in cup quadding) where the lace connects to the other material on the cups at the seams. Again, expected due to the size of the cups. Overall, I think I can still wear it as a reading in bed lounge bra on hot summer nights where I want my nips covered but don’t want a shirt on, though it honestly wouldn’t serve any other purpose. While I could complain about not getting the 60Q size I ordered, I would hate to think how small it would be if this one was not a mistake in sizing. Bottom line, it is not worth the complaint, as I feel a replacement wouldn’t fare any better.

This bra is still awful and is somehow better and worse than the one I got. Sorry it didn’t work.

    • 1

I know! At least I can see value for it on those hot & humid MidWestern summer nights. 😄

I didn't add the back photo because it sits so high, it created back fat (or a lot of side boob?) under my arms that is not an appealing look at all. 😬

    • 2

Oh, but it is SOOOO pretty. I hope you can at least wear it in bed or lounging.

    • 2

As I was reading your review, I had the same thought as Sovavosi - despite it not fitting you, it somehow still sounded better than how it fit on me :))

    • 1

I am determined to get some use out of it, even if just as a double sling shot for water balloons this summer 😄.

I do wonder who this works on. It has to fit someone beautifully right?

    • 3

I think this one was intended only as a pretty covering. Maybe it’s only for folks with small to medium size breasts.

    • 2

Yup...I have no faith in bralettes. Even sized ones. I have a custom one and after an hour I am falling out of it. Those with a lot of coverage, more like sports bra type thing work, but then I'd rather just wear a spandex-laden tank top. I'm sticking to wires.

    • 2

My favorites at the moment are Decent Exposures. Wireless, comfortable, and yet still supportive. Wonderful alternative to the daily wire. Sure it doesn't qualify as sexy, haha, but better than a sports bra for lazy lounge days!

    • 2

Sovavosi it could be, or maybe it's meant as a late post date night piece, for minimal wear time. It would serve well for that purpose. :-/

    Hasn't set fit

Despite looking beautiful, this bra is sadly not a great fit..
It's the first time I order a soft 2-part half cup, but 3-part half cups (both padded and soft) are usually great fits on me. I also have the Bridget which although looks similar is actually very different from a fit perspective.
The fabric on the cups is a really beautiful tulle which feels sturdy and although it's not stretchy it has a bit of give. The cup is closed off at the top with a thick-ish elastic which is placed almost at the top of the cup, but there's still a little bit of fabric above it. When ... wearing the bra, this fabric does not lie fully flat and would be visible under a tight top. The embroidery is also not fully flat. Compared to the Safiya, the Bridget has flatter embroidery, and there's a thin transparent piece of plastic to close off the cup (again, lies flatter under clothes).
The cup construction makes it quite a different fit to the 3HC, first off because the cup is shallower, has less immediate projection (too shallow for me, sadly) and less space for inner fullness. However, the cup gives more lift and creates more "cakes on a plate" cleavage as opposed to the very round and not super lifted shape I get from the 3HC. The cup also seems to have a bit more space for outer fullness that other Comexims, especially around the area between the strap and the wire.
The straps on the Safyia feel wider set - they are almost 3cm wider compared to a comfortable 3HC (padded, same size, same alteration), and there is more fabric between the wire and the strap attachment (~1cm extra height). This makes the strap cut a bit into my arm, although I have wide shoulders. People with narrower shoulders night consider ordering this bra with a strap moved in alteration. However, when comparing the strap position to the Bridget, the straps are exactly the same on the Safiya. The Bridget is very comfortable though, but that's most probably due to the lower wire.
Another thing to notice is that the bottom part of the band tends to roll up under the wire at bottom of the cup. This also happens with the Bridget, and it's most probably because the elastic is sewn tighter to have some give when the band is extended. It's not uncomfortable in itself, just something to be aware of.
Regarding alterations, I found that the only alteration that I need is a short wing - usually I'm asking for 11cm, which is just right for my short roots. However, despite the wing measurement, I notice that on the Safiya the band does not extend all the way to the bottom of the wires. On the Bridget the bottom of the band is basically horizontal - this explains why despite the relatively low-ish wing height of the Safiya (11cm), the wire still pokes. If the band had extended all the way, the measurement would be 13.5cm instead.
Regarding size, I'd say that the cups are true to (Comexim) size. The band is made from two layers of stretchy mesh, it's overall quite stretchy and runs quite large - the 80 band is already too loose on me (comfortable underbust 36in), so I'd recommend to size down in the band.

Thanks for the detailed review. I've thought about getting this bra, but have put it off because I wasn't sure how the cups would fit compared to the coco and bridget that I already own. Sorry it didn't fit you.

    • Thanks! @Wilderness You could also try ordering the Safyia as a 3HC, that should make the fit much more similar to the Coco/Bridget, although it wouldn't be returnable.

    • JulieCS yeah I was thinking that too. Do you find this bra minimizing?

    • @Wilderness My first impression was that it's slightly less minimising than the Bridget, because of the slightly shallower bottom half of the cup which gives a bit more of an apex. However, now I just tried both of them on again, and they look like they give very similar shapes from the side (basically indistinguishable under a tshirt). But because the Safyia has less centre space it tends to push the tissue a little bit more towards the sides. It's really not a huge difference, but compared side by side with the Bridget it gives a slightly wider look from the front.

    • 1

JulieCS thanks for the comparison. I had this one in my cart ready to order on the BF sale, then chickened out at the last second. I'll have to give it some more consideration. thanks again :)

    • 1

@Wilderness Hope it fits you well if you decide to go for it! It's definitely a winner when it comes to looks :)

Vogue Purple Longline in 28L (60Q)
Vogue Purple is a full lace longline bra with black light foam under-cups for support. I have tried this bra prior in a 65N, and also as a regular band bra in a 60P prior. My band came unlined, though I have seen prior versions that were lined.

I ordered this one direct from Comexim, with a raised gore (2cm) and straps moved in 2.5cm. Since I want a label on my bras I also requested they use the UK bra label, as they don’t stock 60Q labels but they do have the UK equivalents for their Breakout Bras bras. I do feel ... my customizations were done, as my Vogue Purple 60P had a 3” gore height, and this one is 4.3” and the straps do not feel like they are in my armpits.

    For the technical details:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 23.25” and stretches to a max of 28”. It has 5 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. All but one of the hooks are below the elastic on the band, so ultimately, this bra is being supported by only one hook and reliant on the unsupported lace for the rest of the support. The lack of stretch on this one is nice for me, but quite surprising since it is unlined.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 13.25”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 16”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The cup height (as measured on the inner black foam cups and not the outer purple lace) is 9.5” while the gore is 4.3” to the bottom of the cups and the wing is 5.55” to the elastic on the band, not to the base of the lace. Like with Chevron, this one has 6” wide cups, which is wonderful!!

    As for fit,
The straps do not adjust long enough, and you can see on the back photo that the strap area is actually wrinkled due to not being tight. I will need to shorten the straps before I can attempt to wear this for more than a few minute trial.

I feel that the hook/eye loop placement on this one (at least in my size) is of poor design, as it is not putting the support on the band at level with the cups, but well below it at the lace beyond the elastic. I am not sure how this one will fare with all day wear, but feel I will not be supported and will have back pains by day’s end. I will most likely order this one again, but as a regular bra so that the band holds the support of the breasts instead.

The black undercups actually cover my nipples (not the case on my prior attempts with Vogue Purple) which is a plus and hopefully this is help stop the cup collapse as experienced in the prior versions. The gore sits just over one finger off my sternum, which is about as close to tacking as I can get, so I am pleased with this as well. The cups feel like they are bordering on being too big, but this could just be due to the loose straps and the hook/eye loop placement. With this, I am sure it will make a good high tide bra for me, which is a difficult one for me to find.

Really aside from the strap length, I am actually pleased with this one. I did only have it on for about 5 minutes for a quick fit assessment, but it did feel comfortable for those five minutes. I will update if this assessment changes with wear.

    Didn't fit

I ordered this 60J with reduced cups after the 60HH fit debacle - which fit about half a cup size too small. I was hopeful that the 60J would be a better fit. At first blush, Ingrid appeared to fit quite well. It looks lovely on and gives great cleavage. The band is comfy and true to size. The straps are comfortable on my narrow shoulders and the gore is delightfully narrow.

However, after a few minutes of wear, it became apparent that this bra is too small for me. The wires keep slipping out of my IMF and ended up being uncomfortably pushed down my torso. This ... happened with the 60HH, but I didn't think much of it because it was clear that the overall cup volume was too small. (I have serious trouble diagnosing specific fit issues when the overall bra is just too small.) But, it seems the 60J does not have enough immediate projection (I need oodles). I am not sure if this problem would be solved by sizing up, or if the Comexim plunges are just not a good fit for my shape. Sigh.

Sidenote - This bra arrived ridiculously fast. It was sent out 2 - 3 days after the online order was made and shipping took about 12 days to Canada. Also, all of the customizations I requested (reduced cup height and moved in straps) were made. Seriously impressive.

    • You're making me really doubt that a Comexim would work for me :(
Shame because they have beautiful plunges and I already know that Ewa's dont have enough projection at the wire :/

    • I may have to stick to CHPs.

    • Thank you thank you thank you for your review, especially the last paragraph. My last order shipped within 3 days and I have been worried they didn't do my size or customizations. Knowing yours was fulfilled as quickly and done correctly eases my mind a bit. So, again, thank you!

Sorry this one didn't work out, but it does look great on you-a good match for your skin tone.

    • AprilGoulding I think I may need to stick to CHPs as well. They are such a perfect fit! It's a shame that the Comexim plunges are so pretty.

    • 1

MamaPagan fingers crossed that your customizations are done. I wonder if they hired extra seamstresses for the holiday rush? My black friday order took so much longer

    • 1

Before you give up, isn't Ingrid one of the ones that a lot of folks have serious fit issues with?

    • Sovavosi how did I miss this info! Tell me more.

    • 1

I might be confusing this with the 3HC version. I just remember seeing people post that it was small and shallow.

    • 1

No, I think Sovavosi is right. I think that Ingrid plunge is an off fit plunge. It might be better as a 3HC though.

    • eek!Calluna I thought it was the other way around.

    • I also have read that it tends to be bigger and taller.

    • Indeed Sovavosi is correct, Ingrid is a regular fit issue. Just go to the fit request page and search for Ingrid and you'll see it has frequented the site. :-D

*But* I believe most (if not all) were Breakout Bras versions which vary from Comexim directs.

So trying another model may not be a bad idea?

    • This looks fantastic on you. Sorry that it's too small.

    70J

    Didn't fit

Belle De Nuit Soft is one of those bras that looks better in the stock photos than it does in real life. At least on me.

If we put aside the fact that it is (very obviously) too small in the cup, one of the things that bothers me most about it is that the top mesh layer wrinkles so much--it's almost as if it's completely stretched out, or they put more of it than they did the bottom mesh. I mean, I think the photos speak for themselves, it is very visible in all of them. And it is very very obvious under a thin shirt. This is ... my major gripe with this bra... because in the photos it looks perfectly smooth.

Now onto the bra (and fit, I guess).

Cup construction is the same as Safiya. Just a single vertical seam. I already said I feel safer with at least two seams and I find that this is confirmed with Safiya, its support is very lacking. The same goes for Belle De Nuit. No joke, within half hour of wearing it, my boobs were drooping as if I weren't wearing a bra. I mean this bra is obviously a boob hat for me.
It was hard finding the right angle to capture how much I quad in Belle De Nuit. Just for comparison, I put Safiya on after just to make sure I remember correctly, and the cup is significantly deeper and the quadding is not near as bad as in this. It's the same size! How?!
The quad boob I get is my half-cup nightmare and the reason I don't really like halfcups. Oh well.
I feel like, if the cups were just a little higher it wouldn't be so bad.

The band... I can't wear true 70 bands anymore. It's just too loose and I can *feel* it's loose and it was riding up because my boobs were pulling on the straps in the front. This one's clearly on me though... I had a sneaking suspicion I should go for a 65, but I did 70 anyway. For comfort...

On the bright side, the straps adjust long enough!

Wire width is alright, not too wide. I mean the cups are very shallow, so I feel like the wider cup makes up for it. It's easy when you have breasts as malleable as mine, they have enough squish where I can handle the shallow cups as long as the wires are wider. I find this to be the case with a lot of bras I try.

I asked for one alteration on this bra: overlapping gore. I even got confirmation that yes, it can and will be done. As is obvious from the detail photo of the gore... It is most definitely not overlapping. Actually, Safiya's gore is narrower than this.
But the gore as is tacks, no issues there. Pretty bummed though, I made sure to limit alterations to ONE.SINGLE.CHANGE thinking my chances are better if I don't complicate things, but... it didn't get done.

Overall, I'm not very happy with Belle De Nuit. Not because it fits bad (that's not the bra's fault), but because the quality of it just seems... very low, and the size is just not consistent with the other bra in the same cut I got.
On the flip side, the cups seem to have some stretch so I might be able to stretch them out enough to where the bra is wearable. Just don't know if it's worth it considering how lacking the support is.
But with this, I'm sad to say I think I might be done with Comexim.

I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you. It’s kind of awful that they couldn’t be bothered to do one alteration either. If you are sending it back I would complain, maybe it might help 🙁

    • 1

Hm, I don't know if I will be sending it back (either for return or exchange). I'm pretty stressed out right now and I don't know if I wanna be dealing with their customer support trying to communicate what went wrong. Might be smarter to just let go lol.

    • 3

If you are interested in bralterations here are my suggestions: cut out the lining in the cups and line the band with lingerie mesh. The first will give you more depth in the cup and less wrinkles because the cups will be more stretchy. The second will firm up the band, limiting the stretch. I can’t guarantee this will fix your problems but if you’re not returning the bra it’s no huge loss.

    • 1

      Excellent suggestions as always cupandahalf!!

Super sorry brasaremean that they didn't overlap the gore. If it helps, I always submit my orders now with a note "if my customization requests cannot be done as requested, please email me before you make the bras" and I am now emailed with the request concerns and given the opportunity to cancel or work through the details. (Except narrower wires-that juat never happen regardless of Anna saying it's doable.) I always asked for the overlapping gore and *used* to get it, but with the recent orders I am now told they cannot overlap them but will make them touch. Why? The wires are in the way. What?!? The wires aren't at the very top of the gore......It was never an issue before but now the seamstresses refuse. With Beatrice, the wires were like an inch shorter than the wire channel and they still did not overlap the gore. I did take out the center stitching and overlap them myself though. It's not the prettiest job, but it worked. It will make the band a bit smaller if you do a center gore seam like I did, but you can just do at the top instead.

    • 1

Fair suggestion cupandahalf and doesn't take a lot of sewing expertise to do. I need time to decide.

BUT that is a great idea about lining the band! I might do that with some of my EMs actually. Come to think of it, let's say I sew non stretchy mesh to just a part of the band, would that ruin the band or just make it stretch less? Hmmmm...

MamaPagan The thing is I asked and they said yes and I said yay and I thought it was getting done. Like I thought it was well communicated that it can and will be done. I'm just really annoyed that they didn't say no and I would have been like 'well okay' and that's it.

Overall I think I need like 65L from Comexim. I take back what I said about being done with them, I was just annoyed about the change. I know the brand is very good and a lot of women find a good fit in it.

    • I keep saying no more Comexim, yet I keep buying them myself, so I totally get it. And I agree, it is very frustrating to communicate back and forth, be told all is possible and then receive something different. My every Comexim review is filled with facts and disappointments, but then they come out with something new, or something older that catches my eye and then I'm like "Maybe just one or two more..." and I try to tweek my requests to get a better fit. As if I forget the key fact of requests are not honored but are approved and stated as doable by Anna.

I have two Comexim orders on the way, one shipped and the other in production, so I am hoping for the best but have my sewing machine ready just in case. Optomism is the key, right?

    • 2

Fingers crossed they turn out well. I rally wish both this and Safiya had two seams on the cup, I feel like it would improve support by about 100% lol.

    • 2

But the double seams didn't fare so well for @DerrangedDragons19 if you recall.... O.o

Safiya is one of the ones I have coming. Amore Mio, Chevron, and Vogue Purple are the others. The last 3 I've tried prior in a smaller size and they fit when I was that size, so I am hoping the same holds true this time too. The latter two I ordered with a raised gore to see if that stops the quadding and center flop out. Here's hoping for the best!!

    • 2

brasaremean Ack. I'm so sorry. This is such an atrocious fit for you.

    • 1

Ah, what a dissapointment it didn't work out for you! Too bad they only do 1 vertical seam. I was going to order safiya, but decided against it because of that factor. It's also a shame they didn't do your overlapping gore. I've ordered a few Comexims and they've always completed my requests, I don't know why they aren't consistent with them?

    • 2

I'm not really heartbroken about it. I do wish the bra was more true to stock photos but I'm over it already.

Not sure why they didn't do the alteration Wilderness1
      I'm gonna ask, lol.

  20. Princess Half Cup

My shape is short and narrow rooted, soft and low set tending toward full on bottom.

About the bra: This bra is originally a plunge, and I requested it custom as a 3HC with straps moved in 1.5cm. It also came with an overlapping gore, which I was happy about because I forgot to request that modification. The outside facing part of this bra is made of a black satin type material with a red lace overlay. The band is red in the front and black on the sides wrapping around to the clasps, which are red. The inside is a black cotton (no cookie pockets, as I ... didn't request them). The gore is decorated with a black and red rectangular shaped decoration that somehow works with this bra. There are 4 sets of hooks each with 2 clasps. The red straps are fully adjustable, even on my tall frame, and I find the band quite stretchy (especially compared to the Natalie I own). I actually find that this bra is most comfortable and fits me best on the tightest hooks. It measures true to size though for a 30 band. Maybe I just need to size down to a 28 band now after losing weight? For reference, my rib cage does measure around 26.7 tight, 28" snug, and 29"-29.5" loose.

Comfort/shape/fit: I find this 3HC more open on the top than the other 3HCs I've tried (Gemma and Natalie), and I think it may work for someone even to full on top in shape. The cups come more straight up at the top of the breast rather than curling in towards the breast like the others I tried. This bra also gives a nice rounded shape of course, but I don't quite tack (not surprizing really). With a fresh scoop and swoop I fit the cups perfectly, but my soft tissue likes to melt, so we'll see if I get any gaping after a couple hours of wear....So far I've just tried it on. Things feel nice and contained though, so I have a good feeling I'll maintain this nice rounded shape and fit with wear. I do find that the top edge of the cups have a very slight outward curl to them before scooping and swooping, probably because they are so open. But I do find that curl disappears when the band is clasped on the tighter hook, giving me a better fit. It isn't noticeable under a shirt. One of the things I love about Comexim bras is that they are comfortable right out of the box. No pinching, pressure, chaffing, or soreness anywhere.

I ordered this bra from Poland on Oct 10 and received it in Canada on October 26, so cudos to Comexim for getting this to me in record time, especially considering it was a custom order. I'm really impressed, especially since EM charges 135 zloty now to mail to Canada because they say mail from Poland was taking too long. Obviously not, because this arrived in 8 days. I love EM and am currently waiting for an order, but....
