This is my second time purchasing a Comexim Basic bra in size 65J/30GG. The first time I purchased, I believe it came from Wellfitting, and ran extremely small. I believe now that one was mistagged and was probably a 28J. This bra came from Breakout Bras and fits perfectly with a similar fit to my Comexim Queen of Hearts and Belle de Nuit. It fits comfortably and the band is TTS for a 30. The wires overlap at the center gore. There is some minor wrinkling in the fabric that overlays the cup, but is not noticeable under any tight fitting tops. I feel as the inner cup relaxes it will even out.
This bra is too small for me to comment on proper fit, but the fabric is beautiful! I soft, ever so slightly pearlescent? Not color changing, but it has a lovely satin sheen.
I'm not sure what's happening with this bra. My shape is projected, full on top and centre with tall and narrow roots, very close and low set which is self-supporting. It is important to note that I have a cleavage (due to the breasts being close together) and my nipples are way above my IMF (self-supporting) and a bit out (due to centre fullness) when unsupported. When leaning forward to imitate the state of my breasts supported in a bra, my nipples are higher and more centre.
My last Comexim was an unlined 3HC (Bianca) in 60HH and when I posted a fit check int the ABTF Facebook group ...one comment suggested me to order 60J in the future. So, I got this bra from another user who only tried it on. I was worried that 60J would be too big but a 2HC should fit shallower than a 3HC, so I tried anyway.
The band is snug like a standard 28 band with 3 hooks.
A major difference between this bra and other Comexim bras I have tried is that the side of the cups is really high. The gore height is about 3 inches (higher than my unaltered 60HH 3HC) and it still looks like a plunge bra with a very downward slope from the sides. Luckily I have a low set and a long torso, so this does not bother me. But if you have a high set, short torso or have the problem of bras rubbing in the armpit, this is likely to be an issue. I have tall roots so I fill out the cups fine even though the sides are so tall, so I imagine there will be gaping in someone with short roots or not much upper fullness.
The wires are soft, narrow and follows my IMF closely. The gore is a little bit high and the top does not sit flat due to my close set.
In this 2HC, the outer portion has a much larger area than the inner one. I'm not sure if this is applicable to this particular bra or all unlined 2HC models in Comexim. The fabric is soft and REALLY stretchy, which brings out the most important issue of the fit. I feel like the bra does not give me any lift and support at all. When I lean forward to imitate a supported state, then stand upright, my breasts sinks into the cups. My nipples are placed "low and out" like their natural, unsupported state. This feels more like a wired bralette to me. There are also some wrinkles near the centre and top of the cups.
This collage shows the nipple placement in this bra, an unlined, non-wired bralette (to show my natural, unsupported shape), Comexim Bianca 3HC in 60HH, and Panache Jasmine in 28F. I hope the markup shows clearly how my nipples are more "out and low" in this bra and the bralette but "in and up" in the other bras. You can also view fit pictures of the other bras in my profile.
I have shared my review and the same pictures in the ABTF Facebook group and most comments suggest that this bra is supportive, better fitting and looks more comfortable than the others. Many think my other bras are too small as I have a more visible cleavage in them.
I'm not sure if I'm crazy here. Have I been wearing too small cups the whole time but not know it? I'm not sure what is causing my feeling of not being supported and lifted - are the cups too big or the fabric too stretchy?
To conclude, this bra is likely to work for someone who is at least somewhat projected but not extremely, with more top but little centre fullness, slightly narrow and tall roots, an average to low set with not very soft tissue. Read more 532 more words

Altered band,
Altered straps,
Straps moved in 1cm, band made as a 60, overlapping gore
You're not imagining it... this bra does have quite a bit of stretch in the cups. For what it's worth, I think it looks really good on you!
I think it looks good. Better on you than me because I am higher set and shorter waisted.
Wilderness1 Calluna Thank you! Unfortunately I'm not happy with the amount of lift it gives so I have listed it. I hope it can go to someone who is happy with the fit!
This is definitely one of the prettiest bras I own. It's a muted navy with gold, green and blue-grey embroidered flowers. I ordered this thinking it was a padded 3HC, but it's actually a soft cup. I would have ordered it a cup size down if I'd known. While it 'fits', I think it would be a bit more flattering and supportive if it fit a bit snugger. I still like the way it looks and feels, though, and I find it to be more supportive than I expected. It has lovely, substantial straps that are softly brushed on the inside and easily adjustable to about halfway or so.

It’s really pretty but it does looks like it’s a tad too big. Hopefully you can still get some use from it.
Yup- a passable fit on my larger side but definitely too big on my small side. I think an L would have been perfect. Still feels pretty good though. And the pictures don't do it justice. The fabric is stunning in person.
It is pretty, but yeah...I thought it was a padded bra too! I wish they'd put a description next to the bra, even "soft" or "padded". Some of their bras have a description, but most don't.
Yeah, I wish they would do that too!
I did too, initially, until I saw it in the Half Cup and Balconette sections and then saw the Instagram post that said it was soft cup. And I saw the other review here. Do you find the embroidery/appliqués itchy?
No, I don't find it itchy.
Ok. So you would have ordered a smaller size if you had known that it was a soft cup?
Yes, I would have ordered it in the same size as the padded plunges, so a cup size down.
I love this fabric! It's wonderfully soft and gorgeous. The fit is pretty good, I think. The band is nice and snug and the straps are easily adjusted. The straps are moved in 2 cm, but still just a little in my armpits. Cup height was supposed to be reduced but I'm not sure it was. I got cotton cookie pockets so I can use a cookie in my smaller side to improve fit. The cups are a bit wider than I need, but still better than most bras in this size. I think I'll get lots of wear out of this one.

I'm super happy with this bra. It's a lovely green satin with black lace detailing. The fit is really good. The cups are a bit taller than I need but they come in enough on the tops that I don't get gaping. The straps are comfortable too. The band feels more like a 65 so I need to fasten it on the tightest hooks.
How is the colour compared with your Jade? Same green or different?
It's exactly the same green as my Jade.
Lovely. Glad it fits you.
Looks nice on you. I actually prefer how this looks in real life over how it looks online. The colour is richer in real life. Pretty.
Thanks, guys.
Is this one direct or from Breakout Bras?
Breakout. I got a great deal.
How much is shipping from breakout bras?
Shipping is free if you spend over $80. I've had 4 or 5 orders from them over the last few years, and this is the first one that was opened at the border and thus, I got charged duty and customs.
I’m thinking about getting something from them sent to LA when I go in February, but I have to wait til the tickets are confirmed that we’re going, and then I have to get the timing right so it’s there before I get there, but not sitting there too long either.
Oh that's awesome, I didn't realize it was free to Canada! Hmm, I'll have to start looking at their website more often
They have great sales too.
How much did you have to pay for customs?
I paid 30-something Canadian on my $118 US order. It's the first time I've had to pay.
Wow this look great! Very pretty color. Congrats on a good fit :)
In the spirit of giving thanks this weekend I’d like to extend a big thank you to Wilderness1 for sending me this beautiful Comexim Beauty 3hc in 70HH.
If you click on the gallery to see all the pics you’ll see what a winner this bra is. I was a little nervous about getting a 70 to my normal 65 band but it feels great done up on the next to last hooks, it’s perfect. I know the cup height was reduced and its perfect, no gapping! And my breasts come pretty close to touching which is no small feat! I was wowed by how sexy this is so I picked up a couple more in this style during the Comexim BF sale. Thanks Wilderness1 this bra found a good home here lol!!

Okay, to begin with I’m not sure what’s going on with my cup size. My first Comexim bras were 80HH and while they seemed to fit, I felt like the 80J may be more comfortable. I bought a few 3HC and plunge bras in 80J with reduced cup height and increased depth at the wire last spring. These bras fit and seemed like the ideal size until I recently realized recently that these once comfy bras were suddenly feeling tight. I waited it out, thinking it was hormones, but the 80Js are definitely feeling small even though my weight hasn’t changed much (only a few pounds and when ...I started buying Comexim I weighed more than I do now). I’m in my late 40s and I don’t know if it’s a hormonal thing or just me slowly figuring out my cup size. I ordered a plunge bra and the Mimi in 80K and the plunge is so comfortable, it fits so well and the back fat I was seeing in my 80Js has almost disappeared. I’ll post a review on that bra later. I am not sure if this increase in cup size is something temporary and I’m afraid of investing too much in bras that might not fit, but I need more than one comfortably fitting bra.
Unfortunately the Mimi that I received is wrong on so many levels.
This is my first complete miss with Comexim and the first time they didn’t provide the modifications I requested. I ordered this because I had previously ordered a Mimi 3HC in 80J with the similar modifications, which were a reduced cup height and deeper at the wire. The 80J fit okay at the time, but the cup height was just too low. I did like how the cup seemed more closed at the top and with my FOB, centre full, soft breasts, I thought that this style should work well for me with the right alterations. I ordered the Mimi in 80K as a 3HC with reduced cup height, deeper at the wire and straps moved in. I am not sure about the straps, but I think it’s deeper at the wire but it’s definitely only a 2 part half-cup bra. I think the pictures tell the story. The bra flattens out my center tissue, is cut too low, and cuts into my breast tissue. I am frustrated, as I feel like the Mimi should work for me. I’m considering trying again, with it deeper at the wire and with the straps moved in but without reducing the cup height, but I’m afraid I’m just wasting my money at this point. I like the look of 3HC bras, but Comexim plunge bras definitely work better for me.
Anyone have the Mimi without reduced cup height? Is it lower than other half cup bras? Should I try again with this style or call it at this point? Read more 378 more words

Altered straps,
Deeper at the wire, straps moved in.
While I had hoped this would be as supportive as my 40M - Wellfitting » Liftsational Classic Plunge, unfortunately at this point my center tissue is more soft and falls into the center too much. The band is strangely cut- much more room on top of the band than on bottom, which is not how I need my bands. I took a dart at the top of the band on each side and that helped but it’s looser than I expected too and I need to wear the band on the tightest hook. All in all not what I hoped for, which is sad because is very comfortable!
I have been wanting a hot chocolate bra for quite a while. This color combination and lace are very beautiful.
I frequently wear this size in Comexim. Breakoutbras Comexim are often a bit long in the band to top it off. However, this band measures as a true 28, so when I saw that I knew I might be in for trouble. I can fasten the bra, but it feels uncomfortable. The angle picture shows how the bra fits with an extender. If I use the extender, the cups are clearly too big. When I wear the bra without the cups are wrapping too far around my side, helping ...me fill the cups, but making the cups and straps cut in to my sides and shoulders. The bra also felt like there was not enough immediate projection, like it was a bit shallow. However, the incorrect fit could have affected this feeling.
All in all, this bra is clearly the wrong size for me, I would need up a band size and down 1-2 cup sizes. Unfortunately they don’t have any in this size available on sale at BoB. Read more 79 more words
This is my very first Comexim purchase. I have just been recently sized professionally and by using multiple calculators. I am a 30GG or H (band on loosest or middle). The US retailer of this bra suggested going up 2 sizes and I purchased the 30J which is equivalent to 65M.
The Fit on me: Band is on the tightest and I prefer tighter. The fabric has quite a bit of stretch to it. The Wires are the first that fit my frame. The cup is a little large and goes up into my armpit.
If I were to order again..... I would go down in band and cup. So I would order the 28J instead.
There appears to be two versions of this bra-one without black lace trim across the top, and one with it. This one came from Breakout Bras, and does have the black lace trim.
The bra itself is a standard Comixim padded plunge without any customizations. Mine came with the outer fabric being at a looser tension than the padding, just like the Andromeda bra. This means that the fabric wrinkles on the cups even with them being a bit too small.
As for fit, The gore is 2.5 fingers off the sternum, and the cups are a full fit with center spillage and minor quadding but completely doable. The band ...feels good and comfy on the middle hook set which is nice. While my rib measurement is the same, I have gained about 10 pounds-mostly in my belly, so a looser hook set is more comfortable with the slouch wire base cut ins.
I find it odd that this one measures larger in the cup than the Queen of Hearts 30KK, but fits smaller for sure. I’m not sure if it’s just the wider set straps on QoH or if the cup/gore height needs to be between the two for a better fit.
I can tell that there is not enough center room in the cup near the gore and not enough immediate projection, so the compression below feels odd.
And for the technical aspects: All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.
The band measures 22” and stretches to a max of 29”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops. A bit big for a true 28 band, but not really outside the normal range.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 12.4” 2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 15.25”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure. That shade of green tho! Looks great on you. I’ve had this one on my wish list for a while. I’m sad to see the outside fabric ripples. My Basic does that and drives me absolutely insane. It’s also such a gamble with Comexim size. My last Basic I went up to a 70 band because the previous 65 fit exactly like the 60. And the 70 ended up being truer to size in the band lol. Also my 70GG Basic measured depth very similar to my Queen of Hearts even though it’s supposed to be a cup larger, it just comes up taller in the cup and under the arms.
Oh This colour, this colour, this colour! I have been staring at the Scarlet (jade with caramel lace) since it came out. I ordered Victoria and Rita as 3HC because there was ample data on them for me to be kinda half sure that they might kinda half fit. Lol If they do, i might have to order the Scarlet. If the lace was completely over the jade, Id have already pulled the trigger because it would resemble that Dita von Teese bra set that I love so much.
Is this loose fabric a common occurence with Comexim?
Happy2BraShop The inconsistency is frustrating at the least, I agree. Every aspect appears to be random-cup depth, height, width; band length, fabroc tension.....ugh!
@AGBras Unfortunately I have had it occur on at least half a dozen bras from Comexim. Fabric tension doesn't seem to be their strong suit! It can be made worse as well with fabric friction from tight in the bust tops and frequent arm movements as well. 😖
It does seem to be fabric dependent though, so for example I have ordered Graffiti 3 times-all three had that fabric tension issue. Chevron I ordered 4 times and never an issue.
Of course it's pretty and gives good shape; it's a Comeximhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Fit: The band runs tight; I have to wear an extender. The cups probably run a touch big because they fit without a hint of quadraboob. Very comfy. Surprisingly smooth under tshirts, even though it's covered in lace. Update 5/19: the cups are really 1 too small. Sister sizing to the 80HH was a win.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
I wanted to add a review for this bra since I’ve had it for the past few weeks. I really love that it’s unlined and I love the color of the lace cups. I do wish the lace was softer, I think if you have sensory issues, you might not like the way it feels. I also wish the strap were more delicate to go with the cups since I feel it takes away from the romantic look of the bra, but oh well.
This bra gives me a round shape that ...is slightly minimized, but still lovely in my opinion. Good for those shirts you have with buttons so the buttons don’t gape or open! 😄 The band is comfortable in the second set of hooks, it feels pretty stretchy, so I guess I’ll see go it fares with wear. Now that I have a few bras in my rotation that fit I’m not too worried.
The gore is nice and slim and there’s just enough space for me at the center. The wires stay pretty close to my IMF throughout the day, so I’m pretty pleased. Overall, I really love this bra and I would probably purchase this style over again. Read more 111 more words
I’ve been interested in this one for a while. It’s really pretty. I almost got one from Breakout Bras but wasn’t 100% on the size.
Calluna So the band on this one from Breakout Bras is very stretchy in my opinion. I did go up two cup sizes like they suggested, but I could’ve gotten away with the 65HH on the days my breasts are less full. The 65HH cut in a little bit, so I prefer having a little bit more room on this one. I will say I do get less lift from the 65J and less roundness than I got in the 65HH.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
This bra is so pretty and it fits relatively well in the cups. Only thing is the band is super tight! I don't have a 3-hook extender to try this on with, but I did order this same bra in a 32F. In that one the band is fine, but the cups on that are too small, so I think if I exchange these for a 32FF it will be good! 😃 I'm excited this fits well.
Although it looks like a pale blue on Breakout Bras' website, the fabric is a true ...gray color, has a satiny feel, with a little bit on gray lace on top. The gore feels nice, doesn't press or hurt, even though the band is tight. The cup doesn't give me quad boob and the sides fit well too. I also added pictures wearing a t-shirt, and I think it gives off a nice shape.
Edit to add: I added this bra to that database, so hopefully I added it correctly! Read more 74 more words
I love the look of this bra. This is my second try at Hot Chocolate and it's definitely a better fit. It is slightly too small on my larger breast and an excellent fit on my smaller side. It's comfy and supportive with all day wear and gives the narrow, projected shape I prefer.
This is an older Comexim model and seems to have less projection at the wire than my newer model Graffiti and Hot Chocolate. I get some wrinkling of the fabric near the wire. I had requested the cup height reduced 1cm, and the straps moved in 2cm. They reduced the cup height but did not move in the straps, as I have two bras from MamaPagan with the straps moved in and the straps on this are about an inch further out. This makes the cups gape on me, mostly at the gore. If I do not angle the straps in, the gaping is removed ...but the straps are almost off my shoulders. This gaping is not noticeable under a shirt, so it is acceptable. The straps are not rubbing on my tail of spence so I'm not sure if I want to move them in myself.
Visually this bra is quite pleasing, it's a lovely mint colour with a nice lace ribbon detail on the straps. The center gore is marked with a silver coloured metal C with a white gemstone. The band on this one stretches to about 28.5", and is comfortable on the loosest set of hooks. The cups are 8.5" tall in the middle, but because of the gaping it feels like the cup is taller at the gore when it's around average for this cup size.
I think Comexim did a pretty good job on this bra other than not moving the straps in, I am quite happy with this one. Read more 150 more words

I really like the look of this bra. I love plaid, and the black lace is a nice accent. I ordred this one and the Paola from Comexim through Breakout Bras, based on the fit of the Ingrid I have, also from BB. The band on the Ingrid is great, even a little stretchy, but the cups are too small. I expected this one to be perfect, but the band only stretches to 26.5", and that is with some effort. I coud get it on after a bit of struggle, but then the cups were too small (might be because of the band). It's such a nice bra, and I really wish it had been pefect.
I did it!! This is the first bra I have that FITS!! (But Bratabase won’t let me mark it that way).
Without the straps drawn in toward my neck, every fit parameter is PERFECT. Literally like it was shaped custom for my body!! The straps are easy to adjust and thick, the lace and color is GORGEOUS, and fabric is breathable and stylish. But, I enter my fit data based on how the straps are when drawn in toward my neck (how they’d be if they were multiway).
With the straps drawn in, the wings cut into my armpits by being too tall, though the wire doesn’t bother me ...in the slightest. If the fabric softened up enough, that issue might resolve itself. Potentially, styles that aren’t as lacy might not have this issue at all. Maybe even trying half-cups would be a good idea, since they’d come up less high. The gore also becomes a little too short and a little too narrow, though as you can see from the pictures, it has a partially overlapping gore, so perhaps one without this feature will be perfect. Additionally, the band becomes slightly too tight and the lace itches a tad in the back, but I think this is merely a function of it being a lacy bra, and therefore having less stretch than a non-lace bra.
All that being said, it still isn’t comfortable enough for everyday wear in the condition it’s in. Without being able to multiway, it’ll eventually kill my bad shoulder, and I am way too scared of that alteration to attempt it myself (and have no idea where I could take it to have that done). For now, my project will be keeping my ear to the ground to find someone who can convert the straps. Even in the mean time though, I think this could be a great stepping stone for me in terms of finding a bra that does fit and is comfortable enough for everyday wear. Read more 224 more words
