This is a very pretty bra and my first custom bra ordered from Comexim. I ordered it with 2 cm increase depth at the bottom for more immediate projection and reduced cup height. It initially looked like a good fit for my FOB, centre full breasts. I didn’t see any obvious fit issues when I first tried it on.
However, although initially comfortable as the day went on I found that the bra felt tight and my breasts felt squeezed even though I initially didn’t see any fit issues. The centre gore gets pushed slightly off centre and tends to lie slightly on my larger breast. As well, I ...noticed when I removed the bra that the wire looked like it was resting on my breast on the outer edge and bottom. There is some collapsing at the bottom of the bra and creasing near the gore. It feels like my breasts are pushing the bra toward the gore and downwards. I find myself adjusting the fit several times through the day.
I want to like this bra more, but do not think I got the sizing right. In Comexim plunges I find the 80J is a better fit for me and am planning on ordering a 3HC bra in 80J with the same modifications to see if I get a better fit. I need more immediate projection than this bra seems to provide and am hoping the next size up will work. Read more 134 more words
I know how you feel. With their padded bras, even with first try on feeling and looking great, by end of day, everything is so......different. Never an issue with their unpadded bras though. I have come to the conclusion I can't wear padded bras due to this. :-/
Sorry your are experiencing issues with this one. :-( I hope your next attempt fares better.
The 3HC don't have very much immediate projection as opposed to the plunge. I think it's more of a ) shape as opposed to a > shape. This might not hold true for your size range, but this is what I've experienced. I hope whatever you choose works out better for you.
But she ordered deeper at the wire which should have corrected the shallow issue. :-/
Thanks for your comments. The padded plunges work for me in 80J, but I need reduced cup height for the best fit. I have Eris and Ingrid with reduced cup height and modified and Elena with no modifications. The Eris has a very stretchy band and fits the loosest, Elena which fits well but I would order it with reduced cup height next time and Ingrid which fits on the small side but still comfortable. I find the band more comfortable in the bras in 80J.
I was hoping asking for the 3HC deeper at the wire in 80HH would give the same immediate projection as the 80J plunge, but the wire isn’t big enough and there doesn’t seem to be enough projection. I am taking a risk and ordering 3HC in 80J with increased depth at the wire in the Basic, Mimi and Sonia in the hopes that I will have a better fit. I like the shape of the 3HC, so am hoping I can figure out what works best for me.
Hopefully your next purchase will be a perfect fit. 🍀
Since buying my first Comexim bra a little over a year ago, I’ve become a convert and wear these bras almost exclusively. The first bras I bought were 80HH, but I have realized that these are actually a little small and while initially comfortable, start to feel tight as I wear them. I ordered this and another bra from a fellow Bratabase member to see how I like the 80J fit and it does work much better for me. I have had this bra since last summer but am just getting around to reviewing it. The bra was ordered with reduced cup height and altered straps. This bra ...works well with my FOB, centre full, soft breasts. Even with the plunge style I don’t have the sensation that I am falling out of the cup. I do get some very mild quadding and have some wrinkles at the bottom of the cup. If I were to order again, I would request a deeper cup at the wire for more immediate projection and I think this would resolve the minor fit issues I have. Overall I like this bra and find it comfortable. Read more 84 more words
I'm a huge fan of Comexim bras too. They are SO comfortable and are great quality. Plus, it's a huge bonus that they do alterations for free and have cheap shipping. Glad this works for you.
I purchased 70HH BF of 2017 thru Comexim and they never fit, were swimmingly unsupportive and I wasn't confident enough to mail them back to Poland. This BF in 2018 I ordered 70HH with reduced cups because logicially.. anyways Comexim received the order and did the standard "are you suuuuure" and all the sudden I wasn't sure and went with the exchangeable size of 70H. 🤦♀️. Too small. No gore tacking, remotely. So in the return exchange I went back with my gut and crossed my fingers and lo and behold the reduced cup with three hooks is pretty spectacular!! Alllmost to the point I might be able to carry off a 70J in reduced cups this coming Black Friday... but these are the 2019 modified unreturnable edition, and Comexim did spectacularly!
I have always thought that Florence was one of Comexim's prettiest bras. I feel like it never got that much attention. I know this is going back a while now and you probably can't get her anymore, but I thought I'd share this review, anyway. My favorite things about Florence are the floral print, green ribbon detail, and textures of the materials. The outer fabric has a satin finish and is so smooth and silky. Unfortunately it ran about a cup smaller than all the other plunges I ordered. Sad face. Full review on my blog!
I think this bra is quite lovely. The main fabric is dark pink and satiny with a subtle rose pattern. It is accented with beautiful taupe lace and taupe straps. The straps are fully and easily adjustable. It came with 4 rows of 3 hooks, so I appreciate that. The overall fit is pretty good. The band is nicely snug and the cup volume is much better than my 60K. This bra has straps moved in and cookie pockets added, so I suspect this reduces the cup size a bit as compared to an unmodified half cup. It is a 3 part half cup, which is supposed to have better projection than a 2 part cup, but I find it to be a bit wide and shallow. Still a decent fit, though, and pretty comfy. And the cups aren't too tall for me.
This bra is so gorgeous. The outer fabric is soft and satiny and the most beautiful shade of amber. The cotton cookie pockets are wonderfully soft and the cups aren't too tall. The straps are comfortable and have a lovely embroidery-like detail. They are easy to adjust and have been moved in so they aren't eating my arm pits. This bra has 3 hooks per row as well as 4 column of hooks. The band is nicely snug, stretching to 26.5". Overall, it's really well made and comfortable. Sadly, it's too small for me.

Altered band,
Altered straps,
Custom made into a 3HC with straps moved in 2 cm, cup height reduced, and cotton cookie pockets added.
This is beautiful Sonya I'm so sorry it doesn't fit. The colour combo is out of this world
It looks so beautiful! Really sad it doesn't fit you! How is this bra in terms of immediate projection? Like compared to em chp style? And are you planning on selling this? ;D
Sooooo pretty. Too bad it's too small :(
BronteBeach- looks pretty comparable to EM CHP. I added a picture for comparison. I will probably be selling this to rachaelll, but if it doesn't work out, I will let you know.
This Comexim came from Wellfitting. The gore is not overlapped at all. The band stretches only minimally because the lower elastic is the thick, strong type. I must wear an extender with this bra. The cups are noticeably more narrow than my 60H plunges.
The inside cup seams are lined with a scratchy rough fabric that crosses right over my nipples. It is so irritating that I have to wear something inside to protect them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Usually Comexims are supremely soft and comfortable, so this is really not what I expected from them!
The cups are tall. The cup shape is very rounded as you can see in my clothes pic and I find not all comexims acheive this for whatever reason. Band is firm and made of two layers of fabric. The cups are a little too big for me if I don’t wear this on the tightest hook with the straps fairly tight and with a fitted shirt on. I requested the gore to overlap.
I love this bra. Its gorgeous, comfortable, and it fits! The band stretches to just under 28 inches, so it fits true to size. This bra works really well for my short, narrow, immediately projected, centre-full and very soft breasts. I am wearing this bra with a cookie on my smaller side to help even me out (yay for cookie pockets!). I also love having the straps moved in as I have a narrow frame. I am super happy with my purchase. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

So close to perfect. Band is too big, and with wear straps won't adjust tight enough. Slight gaping on the top of cup that isn't visible when clothed, I fill the cup everywhere else so sizing down wouldn't help- I have very soft tissue/am very FOB. I may also try bending the wires a bit narrower, but then they may feel too long. If straps weren't moved in 2cm would that cause this issue? I can't tell if the alteration was done...

My favorite padded bra! (Currently the only one I have that fits really well!) I LOVE the way the band is, with the three straps along each side of the hook panels, if that makes any sense. (see pics) I think that's part of the reason it fits me so well. It's like the added elastics give it a bit more give than a regular bra band does. Plus, it's so gorgeous with the black stripes and the little tassel in the middle! This is one of my best fitting bras ever. I love it!
OMG, I haven't had sexy lingerie in YEARS. This is so close to perfect and I need to pinpoint what alteration tweak I need to do on my next order. I have the tiniest bit of space at the top of the cup that is fixed with a little pinch- photos for my new Eris will show that. (Big Comexim order) but a smaller cup size would overflow, so maybe reduced cup or cookie pockets? I have very soft tissue and am very FOB so structure and lift is my jam, with the depth that Comexim provides. I also apparently need to go down a band size and request shorter straps, when this stretches it will lose all support since I am already on last hook with straps all the way tightened.

yeah, worth trying reduced height on these. The only comexim I have (80M - Comexim » Coco (381) ) , the outer edge of the cup came so far above my breasts that I actually tucked a little tub of lip balm in there to show the extra space - i was told that is why most people who order very large cups in Comexim order the reduced cup. Yours aer too tall all over, but it probably would still help. They say that reducing cup height effectively reduces the bra by a cup size, but probably not if you are FOB
I have the same problem with Comexim, although I am a smaller size (55K/60J). Reducing the cup height makes such a huge difference when you have short, FOB breasts. And cookie pockets are the best- even if you don't end up using them, they make the bra more comfortable to wear. The straps look a bit wide set for you as well, so it might be worth requesting to have them moved in a couple of centimetres. I love the aesthetics of Aida- it looks fabulous on you.
Now I'm wishing I didn't order 4 bras at once ;-) but I thought I knew what I needed for alterations. Going to need to look into how to tweak them myself.
dbmamaz- Yes I really need to lower the underarm area as well as the cup a little bit. Going to have to find some DIY bra alteration support. :)
Sonya- Thank you! I love it. This has the straps moved in 2cm (or, I requested that alteration be done...) and I really should request 3 cm In all the alterations and translation work I forgot I wanted to add cookie pockets to try. How would you describe them making the bra more comfortable?
They use a super soft cotton so it feels great. If you don't specify, they often use mesh pockets but they aren't as soft.
sunflower, its also probably worth asking at some local seamstresses how much they would charge to do it - and definitely only DIY one at a time!
Oh I bet Nordstrom will do it, good idea. I had another bra converted to a nursing bra there. Definitely only will mess with one! Probably the Honey cookie since I like that one least :p
I can see why everyone loves Comexim bras! This is the third one I've tried and the second that fits. It's a little shallower than I usually need, but it makes up for that with cup height. The result is great lift, without too much projection. It reminds me a lot of Freya Patsy and Kiyoko, but without the spilling over I'd get from them. I don't think my boobs have ever looked this perky before. Ever.
I know a lot of people recommend sizing up for Comexim Half Cups, but I didn't find it necessary with this one. The vertical seams are pretty low profile, and even with the lace cups, it disappears nicely under most of my shirts. It's also very soft and comfy. I kinda never want to take this bra off.
This bra was special ordered with reduced cups, reduced gore and more space at the wire. Compared to my basic plunge the alteration for reduced cups and gore was completed. I don't think more space was add at the wire because it feels and looks the same as my basic plunge. The cups are not deep enough at the bottom for me so I feel a little compressed but it is not bad enough to not wear it. The cups are narrow and fit well. I am happy that the cups are reduced which works with my shallow tall roots. I wish I could reduce the gore more ...but they said they can reduce no more then 2cm. The band is a little too stretchy. All the Comexim I've owned expect the Basic have stretched past 30in and stretch out pretty quickly so I might try a 60 band next. The band only has 2 hooks but I thought HH cup and up had 3 hooks. The print is lovely mint green flowers on a blue background, it reminds me of waterlilies. It has matching mint bows on the straps and the gore. The bow the gore looks silly because it just gets smooshed. The material and the padding is also really thin compared to my other bras. Light shines through it. Luckily this is not a problem for me through. Read more 133 more words
This is the Breakout Bras version of this bra, and the label says 28K, not 60O. This is the first standard Comexim I’ve tried where the straps aren’t set too wide. I’d say that they are perfectly set. I still get some gaping at the gore possibly due to my shape, and/or the gore not tacking. This is a wonderfully comfy bra. I wish all the rest of the standard Comexims had the straps set like this one.
This is the Breakout Bras version of this bra, and the label says 28K, not 60O. I bought this and another Comexim in 60O to solve the mystery of the cup height and depth on my Curacao.
On Breakout Bras, this bra is listed to be small in the cups. I don’t see it. The depth of the cups is 12.5” as opposed to 12” on the 60O - Comexim » Belle De Nuit Padded Plunge. The gore is shorter than the Belle de Nuit, measuring 3.375”. Combined with the wide set straps, the only thing I can think of is that someone who is center full ...and full on top might spill out of the center. The cup height is almost identical to the Belle de Nuit, just shy of 9”. For me, the wide set straps cause a lot of gaping at the gore, and more empty space at the top of the cup. Moving the straps in would alleviate most of these issues. The band on this one is stretchy, stretching to 29”.
Thus far I’ve measured two Comexim and two Wellfitting bras in 60O and they are all hovering around 12” in depth. The Curacao is still a mystery. It could be that the grading changed on that model or they started with a bigger size. Read more 112 more words
I asked for this bra to have a 3cm tall gore but the most Comexim will reduce the gore is 2cm which is still too tall for me. I also asked for more space at the wire but the bra is over all too small so I can't tell if it has more space. I thought the unlined bras usually ran bigger then the padded ones. I also order 65HH - Comexim » Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390) and the cups are much bigger. The wires are also very narrow for this size, too narrow for me. I really wanted a simple white bra, so I am annoyed that this is too small.
You should specifically ask for a gore height you want! I asked Comexim for a 4cm gore (1.8") and they make it!
That is disappointing about the size. I think it should have at least an inch more cup depth than that. I wonder if they messed up and made you a GG or H.
Noob first i asked for a gore 3cm tall, they said they couldn't. Then i said ask if the can reduce the gore by 3cm, they said no. So maybe for certain styles or sizes they have a limit to how short a gore can be.
I wonder what would happen if you told them "I need a gore the same height as on such and such a size" if they would say ok.
Maybe they just have a limited set of wires. So they can't lower the gore beyond a certain point without making the sides taller.
Whoa. This is SO much different than the 65HH I received. Yikes.
First forays in comexim... I bought this bra after buying the basic plunge in 34H, and feeling like the band was a little loose. So I got this one, 32HH, and for me it doesn't fit quite right. It's a plunge style with alterations, so the gore is raised and the cups are lowered so it fits more like a balconette. The gore doesn't tack because I think it's too high for me. But then it's kind of gappy at the top of the cups! Hum..... Anyway, I will be listing hoping it will make someone else happy!
A lot of people seem to go through some trial and error when figuring out which combination of alterations (or lack of alterations) and styles before figuring out which Comexim works best for them. I highly recommend finding other users similar to your measurements and breast shape to better help you figure out what might work best for you from @Comexim . Posting fit checks will also bring your fit problems to the communities attention! Good luck. ^.^
Joanna emailed me when I purchased this to be sure I wanted it as she warned it would not be supportive enough for breasts my size. It wasn't really surprising when she turned out to be right!
First, the pros:
This is a beautiful bra. I love the lace, the color, and the look of it, and it’s sewed and finished well. It also seems to mostly stay in my imf, so it’s got some projection at the wire. The gore is nice and low. It’s also comfortable, though that’s partially because of how stretchy the lace is, which brings me right to the not so good.
The cons:
The lace is ...so stretchy that the band stretched immediately to 48 inches and offered no support whatsoever. It also has uneven tension from the top to the bottom of the band (possibly in an attempt to make it suitable for a fat person?) and I don’t love the five hook closure as much as I thought I would. The front of the longline rolls immediately up due to my big round belly, though I sort of suspected that would happen.
The cup is very wide and the wires did not tack at all. I replaced the wires and shortened the band and now get a quite firm tack, but it just seems to be designed for boobs the opposite of mine - there’s wrinkling at the outer sides of the cup, and I almost but not quite fall out the middle of it.
It gives a very natural, slightly splayed appearance to my breasts. It has some support, but it does not hoist my breasts up or round them in any particular way, and they hang slightly over the wire. I’ve actually been wearing it around the house as a lounge and sleep bra, and it’s been pretty great for that. And as a center full lady, the almost but not quite falling out the center gives me some pretty great weekend cleavage!
Bottom line: Best suited for those with outer fullness, average to wide roots, who require low gores. Does not provide as much support as Comexim’s other offerings.
It is beautiful, and I am really surprised they didn't sew a backing onto the band like they did on my Vogue Purple.
I had the same thought. It seems like if they lined it with some black or beige mesh fabric it would help a lot.
It really looks lovely on you in a very natural way. I think I'd really like the black one if I could convince them to make it. I don't need huge amounts of support around the house. :)
Beautiful color on you! Thanks for your candid review.
Is the front of the longline band stretchy? That to me is Comexims biggest flaw with their longline design. Only the band part should be stretchy. The front of the band under the wires should be non stretch. A bra with a stretchy cradle will never have the cups anchored properly.
It's very pretty. As soon as I saw the pictures I was going to ask if it was comfortable enough to sleep in, and then saw in your reviews that it works for lounging and sleeping. Thanks for the review; I want one despite the potential fit issues. :)
Thanks everyone! Glad the pics and the review helped. For me, this definitely fits the bralette category - comfy and supportive enough i’d probably even wear it to the grocery store.
lcl0706 It is stretchy! Honestly i’m tempted to cut it right off... it’s a miracle it stayed put long enough to get a photo of it!
Ugh. I hate having negative reviews but this bra did not work. Too tall, too empty on the sides, too shallow on the inside, wrinkles because I can't fill it. It's so pretty and the quality is fine, but it's such a big shape and size incompatibility I know I'll never be able to make it work for me. I got the underwear in a size medium and they do not match the feel of the bra and I feel they run small. I haven't had such a poor fit in so long.
Ugh, I'm sorry this did not work for you. Comexim seems to have some manufacturing issues at this time of year. They did not do my alterations either.
Sovavosi I figured that was the reason. I envy those who don't need modifications!
I'm sorry this was such a disappointment for you. It's a really pretty set, but surprising that the underwear don't actually match the bra's fabric.
Brash5 It's the same fabric and straps, but the look of it is different. It's so low cut and skimpy/sexy, which is not the vibe I get from the bra. It just doesn't look like they're supposed to match the bra.
Oh, I understand! I misunderstood "feel" of the bra. It's strange that they run small. Do you suppose it's because of the dark color? I'd read that black tends to run smaller than other colorways. I have another question while I have you here. ;) Does the longline bra feel tight around your ribs? My ribs flare out wider than my underbust and I've wondered if a longline might roll up.
Brash5 It doesn't feel tight around my ribs, but that's because it's 4 inches bigger than my underbust. From my understanding, it's common to size up in longlines to avoid any squish. I would definitely recommend you do that if you order a Comexim longline because the band tapers. I also think that you can request they not taper the band down.
