  1. Patricia Plunge Bra (427)

My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

This is my first Comexim plunge and I love it! I wasn't originally sold on the plaid, but it was in stock on Zathiya so I thought I would try it. After I tried it on I changed my mind. I love the plaid. My husband, who rarely comments on bras, said that he liked it on me as well.

The band on this is rather snug, it stretches to a max of 28.5" inches. The cups measure 8" high, but the angle of the cups makes this bra a good choice for short or shallow roots. The gore is higher than any of my EM plunges, but doesn't seem to press on any tissue due to my splayedness. A close set person might not like the height on the gore.

This is a great bra, and seems to fit my shape better than the Comexim half cups. Short breasts, rejoice!

It looks great! I also find the plunges to fit best for my short roots. I'm glad you found a good comfy fit.

It looks lovely on you! I wasn't initially a fan of the plaid/tartan when I saw it on the website but it's been growing on me and it looks brilliant here.

    • 2

Thanks guys! The stock photos on this one really are deceiving.

Thanks for your photos! It is amazing how often I prefer our non-professional, at-home photos to those on the website. This is a stunner on you! Cheering for the short-rooted among us :-) :-)

These are the first I’ve taken with a tripod and release cable. Amateur at home professional! 😁

They look good! I remember release cables from studying photography - they're kind of fun!

This looks great on you! How did I miss you posting this yesterday?!? (And plaid is awesome!! ;-) )

This bra is so cute in person. I'm so glad I was able to order an unlined Comexim that was NOT white! It's nice to have something pretty and colorful in my bra wardrobe.
Anyways, I'm quite pleased with how this bra fits me. The band is nice and firm, the lace on the top is stretchy and conforms to my soft tissue on top really well and makes me feel "enclosed," if that makes any sense. So far, the unlined, lacy-top bras I've ordered from Comexim have been perfect when it comes to that. (I haven't had much success with their padded bras, unfortunately; my left breast is ... just about a cup size bigger than my right, I think, so I always have one breast that fits and the other .... doesn't, lol. Lots of left quad boobage.) I didn't realize that the Karen has two vertical seams as opposed to the Emily; not sure how that affects fit? Regardless, this Karen fits me just about perfectly, except for the straps are set ever so slightly too wide. I did request the narrowed straps, but either they didn't or couldn't do that particular customization on this bra. (I ordered a Queen of Hearts and another Emily along with this Karen, and they both came with the narrow straps, so I'm thinking the design or something makes it not possible for them to narrow the straps easily.)

I think I like this fit, though I haven't worn it all day yet.

But the straps are so stretchy. They feel unsupportive. If I tighten them, the cup wrinkles and collapses a bit near the strap as shown. Even then they dont feel quite right. The wrinkling isn't a huge issue, but still annoying. Possibly indicates a fit issue.

Common with Comexim bras, or maybe it's just this model? I just tend to buy what I see for a good price

    • I think the Comexim straps with the embellishment on them tend to be pretty strong. I've read Comexim has various straps, some of which are better than others.

    • 1

cupandahalf is right - not all Comexim straps are made equal. When I get one with too stretchy straps, I've been buying plush elastic from Amazon and sewing it to the strap to make it wider and/or less stretchy.

    • Interesting, thanks!

    • I get that side cup wrinkling with my Comexims

Thank you moriko for the transfer! These cups fit me perfectly minus slight gapping up top for my cup size smaller boob. The band is too big but that's to be expected and I'll definitely wear this with a rixie clip.

Me: tall roots reaching collarbone, very close-set (touching), average to narrow width, shallow, splayed east-west, FOT or even (unsure), centre-full horizontally (for this reason I don't usually wear plunges), high set, short torso, broad shoulders, size asymmetry. Measurements: 26" snug UB and 34" leaning bust.

This was my, "Hmm, maybe Comexim can make me a black unpadded full cup bra" on-a-whim purchase. I never actually know if they read the notes when I place an order on their website, but so far, they haven't done me wrong. Much to my surprise, they actually came through and made me a custom black Eve bra, just like I requested! (I was half-expecting it to be another white bra, which would have been fine.)
So, the pros: the fit is lovely and supportive, and the design on the top of the cup, while slightly different from the regular white Eve, is nicely understated. The band fits a ... bit tighter than the white version; what it is about black bras that make them fit tighter? Something in the dye?
The cons: the straps, URGH! I love the stretchy, comfy straps on my white Eves and Emilys, but this black one came with the same type they use for their plunge styles. They feel itchy and uncomfortable to me. They must not have the stretchy style straps in black, which it disappointing.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my black Eve, except for the straps. So if you decide to order one from Comexim and hate their regular straps like I do, just be prepared. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'd be curious if they would make other colors too. Might be worth looking into!

I loved the white Eve straps, too! I will avoid the itchy black ones, too. High temperatures are required for black dyes, and the fabric shrinks in reaction to the temperature.

    • Ohh, I had no idea! Thanks for the info! Good to know for future ordering of black bras, hahah!

    • It is helpful...especially if you need smaller bands. The black bra bands are often shorter :-)

    • 1

I had no idea that they would do that! How fantastic is that?! And it came out so beautiful. I'm still waiting for the regular white Eva that I ordered, and now I'm fantasizing about other options. Thanks so much for sharing this.

  7. Ginger Half Cup

I've always loved the Ginger print, but because I read that the deep plunge is wide and shallow, I ordered it in a 3HC which seems to suit my shape (full-on-top and centre, really narrow, projected). The print isn't as great in person in my opinion, because I was expecting whiter cups than the nude I got (luckily it dines't feel like grandma). But the 3HC shape suits me a lot. The only thing is I asked for a lowered gore for comfort for my SUPER close-set boobs, and it opens up the centre, making my soft tissue spill out, and my nipples are at the edge of ... the cup (lol). It's not tooooo bad though, since the lift is the best I've ever got, and the wires sit on all of my centre, underboob and side IMF SO perfectly, I feel like they came at night to 3D scan my boobs lol. Because of the spillage issue, it sounds like a 60HH would be better, but I'm also afraid that the wires will be too wide. I guess I'll ask for a deeper cup alteration the next time I get a 60H. For reference I wear 28F in UK sizes. Contrary to a lot of reviews, I don't think you have to size up in the band for Comexim. In my opinion the band runs true to size.

You could also ask for raised cups along with the lowered gore if the depth at the bottom is ok.

    • 1

cupandahalf Thank you for your suggestion! The depth felt fine, I just feel like I need more coverage to my boobs don't go everywhere lol. I didn't know raised cups is a thing, so I'll definitely ask for that the next time I order from Comexim!

    • 1

*Just in case* you're looking to sell this, I'm definitely interested!

    • 1

immodestmouse This is the only bra I have that fits so maybe not now :( Maybe I will when I have something to replace it. But I have ordered a 65G Mint plunge with the Ginger and I'm intending to sell that.

    • You ordered an overlapped gore, right? That helps for my close set boobs. I get them with the gore overlapped and stronger wires, and the gore stays in place much better and mostly keeps my boobs separated but also gives me pretty easy cleavage over the course of the day.

    • (Also Comexim is a bit of a crapshoot in terms of bands... I think the last few bras I've ordered have consistently been more TTS than before, making me start to consider ordering a 65 instead of my usual 70 with them. But other users are just being honest about the bras they've received -- and it does also seem to be different in different size "zones".)

    • rainbrasspetals I didn't order an overlapped gore, but it was done, although only the highest part of the wire is overlapping because the gore was already low. Do you think stronger wire would cause more discomfort on the ribs? I have a "bony" ribcage so I'm worried they'll be in pain if the wires are stronger.
I agree that maybe Comexim are starting to make their bands more TTS, because I ordered another 65G and it was much too big for me.

    • I've never yet met a bra with wires hard enough to be uncomfortable. I really only noticed that Panache had hard wires when I used to put bras on backwards and upside down, then twist them around and flip them up (Panache made a nasty CRACK sound as it whipped up and slapped my breastbone).

So I'm not a good judge, but I do think that Comexim's stronger wires are still on the soft end.

    • 1

I think they run out of the original Ginger fabric. Today I reveived my Ginger 3hc and it has the same print as yours. The flowers are bigger and the fabric is more yellowish beige and less white than the original fabric shown in the pictures on the website. Personally I am happy about it, because the color of the new fabric suits my skintone better. I bought this bra to wear under light-colored clothes.

    • Jetje I was expecting a lot of people using Ginger as a nude bra, so the print change is probably good for them! I've also worn them under white shirts, but the beige is still somehow visible. I just don't want to feel like grandma lol

    • I understand. This bra isn't suitable for sheer white tops and T-shirts because of the lace. You can only wear those plain nude (in the perfect tone) bras under these tops and T-shirts. Not the prettiest bras, but we do need one ;-) This isn't my favorite Comexim bra, but I do think it is a pretty bra compared to a lot of other lacy nude bras. Also the fit is great.

I think this is a pretty good fit. The cups are probably a bit taller than I need, but I like that they taper at the top so I don't get gaping, which I often do because my breasts are very full on bottom and empty on top. I have to hunch a lot to get even a small amount of gaping, and only on my small side. I could probably use slightly narrower cups with a bit more immediate projection. I feel the effect I get is slightly spread out and flattened as compared to my Cleo Jolie or Breeze. The tassel is kind of cute and the golden piping is very pretty. The padding is a super thin foam and the fabric is not particularly soft, but not scratchy either. I wish it had cookie holders like the Ewas to correct for asymmetry.

So, I was pretty sure I had ordered this as a three-part half-up, but received a plunge instead. I should have returned it to Comexim but didn't feel like dealing with the return shipping (so, it'll be listed on here shortly for anyone interested!). I didn't personally love the lace pattern, but thought the olive bow decorations were cute. As a full-on-bottom splayed lady, I knew the plunge was unlikely to be a good fit based on shape and this confirmed it for me, though the high quality is what I've come to expect from Comexim. I unfortunately can't comment on fit relative to other plunges or Comexim plunges as this is the only one I've tried since starting my ABTF journey.

I picked up this bra on ebay and expected it to be too big in the cup and too tight in the band, since I have heard that Comexim bands run tight. But was so excited for the chance to try it that I took the chance. Yes, the band is too tight, but not by very much. I have lots of 38's that are every bit as snug. I'll probably wear an extender with it to keep it from digging in over the day, but I was surprised how well it fit.

The cup was also a better fit than I thought. It ... fit perfectly along the wire, with lots of immediate projection. In the future, I will probably go down a cup size, though, since the upper part of the bra is a bit wrinkled for most of the month. (It's a perfect fit for a week or so!) I got this at the same time as a Comexim Dottie in the same size, and I would have to go down two sizes in the cup for that one to look less ridiculous. I don't know if that's a difference between the padded and the soft cups, or if it is a shape issue, but it makes me unsure what size cup I need in Comexim bras.

The bra is prettier in person than it is in the pictures, but it is still a bra that seems to mean business. It looks like a practical bra that is a bit fancy but very sturdy. I feel like a festive peasant when I wear it.

    • 1

Yes, it's making me very hopeful that I can find something perfect in Comexim bras, if only I can break their secret sizing code.

    • 1

Out of all my Comexims, Dottie runs unusually large in the cup...

I found the Emily I tried to be very stretchy compared to other Comexims, but I'm also in a different bra zone than you (my Comexim size is usually ~70J), so this might be why you've heard the bands run tight/firm but aren't experiencing it so much.

This is my 5th Comexim bra and 2nd Elena 3HC.

I have tried several sizes. When I wore a 70HH size, top of cup is fit but I need more bottom volume. When 70J, bottom of cup is OK but there is empty space in cup top. None of the sizes fit me. It is because my highly short and bottom projected breast. Anyone who has a same problem like me knows how the lack of cup bottom volume makes people uncomfortable.

I did a search to solve this problem and I found one reviewer who requested 'deeper cup option'. I decided that I should try it. I ordered 70HH ... ELENA 3HC bra and asked 2cm deeper cups at the bottom of the cups, near the wires.

And result...? It is a 70HH bra that has 70J cup bottom volume! And fits me!

I took a picture of this bra with my old Elena 3hc 70HH. Beige one is my old Elena 3hc 70hh without deeper cup option. Black one is my new Elena 3hc 70HH with deeper cup. Can you see a difference?

    Here are the measurement.
Depth in bottom : bra with deeper cup is 23cm, bra without deeper cup is 21cm
Depth in top : bra with deeper cup is 23cm, bra without is 22.5cm

This is amazing. Do you think they made the entire cup deeper rather than just the bottom? It's kind of hard to tell by the photo. I'm trying to get them to do a plunge with a deeper cup because I have the same problem. Did you order the alteration in English?

    • 2

It is hard to say. But this is measurement.
Depth in bottom : black is 23cm, beige is 21cm
Depth in top : black is 23cm, beige is 22.5cm

Definitely black one is a little bigger overall . But it is smaller than 70J overall(I also have 70J size)

And I used only English when ordered.

    • Thank you for sharing, May_June! I have the same fit issue with Comexim, too. Perhaps I will order again with the alterations you specified :-)

    • 1

So that might have been me May_June , or FoxTaylor who posted about Comexim making bras with specific depth on request (custom order). I had Zathiya Lingerie do the asking for me, and I am sure she did it in English, but every bra had the requested 25cm depth across the apex, which resulted in them being deep enough at the wire but not too big at the top. I did not ask for any other alterations which might have made the cup smaller (like straps moved in or reuced cup). They did come with overlapping gore and cookie pockets, which I did not ask for. Previously I have not been able to wear Comexim because they are too shallow - unless I ordered a much too big size and added a pad somewhere to push up and fill in the empty top. Yes, they will do it!

Man, this bra would be awesome if I hadn't ordered it with reduced cups. I've had slight fit issues with other Comexims, and I thought maybe it was the cups being too tall; I was wrong. the wire cuts into the sides of my breasts like crazy, making it unwearable. I also ordered this with narrowed straps (4 cm) and I think that has something to do with the weird fit, as well; perhaps 4cm is too much? I wish it was easier to get these ordered so I could figure out what works best!

This bra is perfection. If you're after a padded, seamless, pale "nude" t-shirt bra option, but don't get along well with a majority of traditional moulded bras, Elena is a great alternative. It's soft, comfortable, totally smooth and invisible under sheer and light-colored tops. Best of all, it gives a gorgeous rounded, subtly minimized profile and tasteful cakes on a plate cleavage. The band fits just a bit firmer than my other 65J 3HCs. It's not enough to size up in my case, but something to consider if you're between band sizes.

  14. Veronique Plunge Bra (362)

This is a rather shallow plunge bra. Its effect on my boobs is best described as "minimizing". Rather than bringing them to the front centered (as Ewa's PLs or 3Ds do), it's spreading them out on the ribcage, while creating some sort of "squeezed" cleavage (tbh, it rather looks like "this bra is slightly too small/shallow").

On the other hand, the cups are high and wide while their top is rather closed, so it's cutting in slightly. It's not a dealbreaker, but the center gore isn't tacking as firmly as it should.
(As I mentioned before, this bra looks like it's half a cup size too small for me, but ... sizing up would not be an option, as the cups would end up too high and way too wide. The straps are already threateningly close to my armpits right now.)

Apart from the fit issues, I'm not too impressed with the quality. I've had this bra for a little less than 6 months now, worn infrequently, and there's already some white spandex fibers sticking out of the band. I didn't expect a bra to deteriorate that quickly - in especially if it's hand made, and always hand washed and air dried.
Also, mind that the fabric loses color even when washed cold, so always wash separately or with darker bras.

    • Interesting review, bracrastination ! I didn't realize a Comexim plunge could have that problem of cutting in. I always think of that as a UK plunge bra problem. Thanks for the heads up!

    • Interesting. I have this bra and it does seem to run smaller, although the measurements are virtually identical to my other Comexim plunges in the same size. The only difference is the wire width. I haven't washed it yet, so thanks for the heads up. For the first time ever I had a bra run dye when hand washed cold and it was a Comexim, so now I'm paranoid when I wash them.

    • Wonder if this is the same cut as Pantera? I found Pantera to be more shallow than other Comexim bras and quads a little bit but it gives me the best cleavage ever.

    • wild_muses hmm, I thought maybe Pantera tended to quad because of the piped edge.

Following up on my last comment, I measured my Veronique again and the depth and height are the same as my other bras, yet it "feels" smaller on. Wires are maybe 1/4 inch narrower. Yet it feels half a cup smaller. Thing is, it's my best fitting bra (no strap gap or gaping, all my other Comexims tagged the same size have empty space) and I have no idea how to order another plunge the same size now ...!

    Didn't fit

I have been trying really hard to find a way to get a Comexim bra that fits me with no strap gap. This bra comes quite close to having no strap gap, but HOOOOOLY QUADDING. It's not too noticeable from the front or with my shoulders slouched, but if I pull my shoulders back or raise an arm it becomes quite noticeable.

I have normally been wearing a 70N with reduced cup height. For this bra I tried a 65P. I went down a band size with the intention of using an extender at first, since I've been noticing that most of my Comexim stretch fairly quickly ... (I do in fact need all three rows of the extender for now). I went up a cup volume to try to get more cup depth (this gave me about 2cm in extra cup depth). Finally, I reduced the cup height by 3 cm. This created a cup height that works pretty well for me at the straps.

Unfortunately, I think that the cup is still not deep enough. The cup depth of this bra is 32cm, and based on my rough estimates I would want something closer to 35-36cm if I wanted them to be basically held without compressing any of the tissue upwards (for anyone curious about my estimating techiques, I laid one breast flat on my palm like I'd want a bra to support it, then measured the perimeter in that position). Since the cup wasn't deep enough, some of the tissue gets pushed upwards by the bra, leading to some quadding. I think I may have to abandon my attempts to get a bra that is deep enough and short enough to be a truly good fit from Comexim and just let the cup height compensate for the lack of depth for me.

Otherwise though, I do really like the bra. The straps are the thicker straps that Comexim uses, and are a bit hard to adjust which means they won't slide from where you've adjusted them. Plus who doesn't love leopard print!

If you can't tell from my recent purchases, I have a little obsession with beige bras. So when I saw Comexim came out with this bra, I had to spring for it. This bra is beautiful--softer than a whisper, practically invisible on light skintones. However, I have some issues with the design.

First off, the band runs a full size small. This 70/32 only stretches to 29.75 and I have to use an extender. Definitely order a sister size up.

Secondly, the straps are placed extremely wide. Placing them where they should be makes them practically at the edge of my shoulders. And this is only a :7 ... cup size--I assume due to scaling this gets worse as the cup size gets higher. I would definitely recommend asking them to move the straps in (I ordered it unaltered).

The band is very thin, and the combination of a thin band and narrow wires means I have a big back roll above the band. This would probably be fixed by asking for 3 hooks.

The wires, typical of Comexim, are very soft. This is both good and bad. Because of this, the gore stands a bit away from my chest at the top. However, they are extremely comfortable.

The shape is a very natural, teardrop-like shape. If you have more top fullness you may find it more round, but for me it does little to disguise my lack of fullness on top.

Onto the good--the cup is very projected including great immediate projection. The bra is very light and comfortable.

I expected this bra to be more closed on top than the previous Comexim unpadded bra I'd tried because of the lace trim, but it's still very open on top. It is a little loose on me, but would be great for anyone with top fullness.

I would recommend this bra for small to medium, projected, even or FOT breasts. I would not recommend it for FOB especially empty on top breasts, those with center fullness as the low, soft, narrow gore may not separate your breasts, and very large breasts as the wires may be too soft to be supportive and the straps may be placed too wide on larger cups.

    • How does it fit compared to their padded plunges?

    • I'd say the shape is similar as they're both open on top but it's larger in the cup. I usually wear a 70H in their padded bras.

    • It looks beautiful on you!! You look ethereal :-)

I loved this bra from afar for a really long time and was super happy to get my hands on one. It's so pretty! Sadly, I got the size totally wrong as it was the first plunge that I ordered directly from Comexim. It's just as stunning in person, but the cup is way too tall/big for me. • Like you, the plunges are way too tall. I tried sizing and all around with no luck. Just compressed tissue. But, Comexim has created two new patterns that I know. And, I sincerely hope, one of these will remedy the too tall plunge issue many of us experience. Thanks for your excellent photos!!

    • Where is "edit" when I need it? "Like you, the plunges are too small for me. I tried sizing down and all around with no luck."

Love4Pollinators I actually have had luck with plunges in 60HH. I think 60J with reduced cups and straps moved in 1cm would be ideal. Only I'm never confident that the alterations I request will turn out the way I want. It's possible one of my 60HH plunges that I ordered standard has the straps moved in, as they are a little narrower set and the cup slightly lower than my other plunge, making it an even better fit. Every Comexim I try is wildly different from the rest, so it's hard to generalize! I am looking forward to the new patterns, though :) Thanks for reading my review :D

I bought this beauty at breakoutbras.com. Not sure if it was me or not but a 40 band on their site measures comfortably about a 37 maybe 38 stretched but 38 is probably distorting the cups too much. I am about 39 at a comfortable size but can still get this on as I have lost a bit of weight and my super tight measure is now less than 39. I sized up in the cup on their recommendation and it fits fine. I will use an extender for now until I either lose a bit more weight or the band stretches a little more. I swear my perfect and elusive Comexim size should be 95H but even that is not perfect. The bras are so cute I just put up with the variances. This bra gives a nice uplifted look with some projection but also a little round instead of torpedo like.

What more can I say? I will continue to wear Comexim and one day I will find my perfect fit 👍

That is one gorgeous bra. Too bad breakoutbras only carries up to a 90 in that one or I might not have been able to resist it!

This is the only one padded plunge that is fully workable under white tops and shirts for me. It is typical Comexim plunge and has cream lace on top of the beige fabric.
The older Comexims feels somehow different to the new ones. I dont know how its changed but the new ones give me cleavage rather than being full coverage bras.
The bra fits me in cups, but it gives me tiny bit of gapping that probably could be reduced when Ill adjust the straps.
The straps are same as Rita, feels good, but I prefer narrower to be able to hide them under tank tops. They ... are fully adjustable.
Wires are quite narrow, perfect in 13cm width - so nothing to complain about!
Band is made of two layers of fabric, bit stretchy but stays in a place. Definietly much better than my Sonia with 1 layer of fabric that is freaky stretchy! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The sides of are bit tall, however the band beautifully lays on my body without digging in like some other bras that has low band and sides. It doesnt bother me at all comparing to Naomi that leaves marks, but this is made somehow different and its not as big problem.

This bra is so pretty!! :)

And I agree that the new ones feel different than the old ones! I'm kind of disappointed by it. I preferred the more full coverage feel of the older ones

I'm the opposite RebelGrrrrl , I prefer the new cuts with cleavage :)

    • This is beautiful! I'm in desperate need of a good works-with-white-shirts Comexim. Is it a new fabric? I'm not seeing it on the website.

    • jukejointjezebel thats old collection - maybe elena, ginger or basic would work?

    • martka00 Ah, thanks! I was hoping it was new. I've got all three of those on my "to try" list. I just loved the fabric on the magic.

    • for me, Id prefer to have ginger instead :) Im not a fan of this fabric - feels too mature for me :)

Well, this bra wasnt on my Comexim's wishlist, however when it showed up for sale I decided to give it a go as it made in 3HC - that is like a lottery (one time you get narrow wires, another time wide ones - like my Rose and Veronique). I think, this bra looks better on its stock pics as a low plunge - it is probably more sexy. Dont get me wrong, that this bra is ugly or something as it is not, but even if it fits me really well, it doesnt suit my taste.
The strap placement feels good on my narrow frame - but ... I still prefer to have them more narrow to fit under tank tops properly. It doesnt bother my armpits and theres no feeling of straps falling of my shoulders.
The band is made of one layer of fabric, its stretchy but keeps the band on the right place without moving up.
The wires are narrow - just 13cm, feels perfect around my breasts
Cups are made with 2 vertical seams, fits perfect as well, no gapping (straps adjusted on smaller breast) or quadboobing. The top of cups has a ribbon but it doesnt make the bra to be closed on top.
The eyelash lace definietly would cover tiny quadboobs, so thats good thing if youre between sizes and decide to go down. Also the eyelash lace is present on part of the band. I really love the charm C between cups - and Id prefer it on all my comexim bras instead of any other charms. The bows however are different as theyre made of velour instead simple ribbon.
