Yoko is gorgeous and does give great cleavage. Unfortunately the cups and straps are a bit too wide for me. Even with the straps tightened a lot it gapes a bit at the top. Although it doesn't seem as shallow as other 2HCs I've tried.
This bra is gorgeous and the nude color under the mesh is perfect for lighter skin tones. The bra fits me pretty well, but the lace/ribbon at the edge makes it a bit fuller coverage than I had hoped for. I did order this with reduced cups and straps moved in, and I think that the alterations were done because if I measure to the cup edge and not the edge of the lace/ribbon it measures similarly to my other Comexims with reduced cups. I also ordered the matching thong in medium and requested it to be made a bit lower lower rise, this I believe ...was done because I tried it on over another pair of Comexim panties in the same size and it does sit lower. I think I may be listing this though because while it is beautiful and a decent fit, I don't think it will get a lot of wear since it is more full coverage than I prefer. I'm glad I got the 70 band though because this does run a bit small making to just under 30 inches before wires begin to distort. I would say it fits more like a 65H than a 70G.
I do have this listed, but if no one is interested I may sew the lace/ribbon trim piece down to make it lower coverage. Read more 122 more words
how can you tell if the wires are distorted? I like to wear my bands tight, now I wonder if I am ruining my wires.
When you input measurements there is a notation you can pull up next to stretched measurement and it explains it. Basically its when the wires start to move when you stretch the band. I looked at your profile and some of the your bras and from what I can tell it doesn't look like your bands are tight enough to be distorting the wires. I'm between a 30/32 so had I gotten this in a 65 it would have fit more like a 28 and that would most likely not have worked for me.
This is a longline Ingrid with no other customizations. The lower side of the band feels tighter than the upper side. Cups seem TTS. Full review to come eventually...
This is currently my favorite bra. It's pretty without being too feminine, and the construction is high quality. The band stretches in a way that it fits like a glove.
I wasn't sure what size to order, so I took a gamble on 75F. The cups are about 1/4 to 1/2 size too big, depending on the time of the month. I think sizing down would make them too small. I went with 75 instead of a 70 band because reviews said that black bands run small and the 75 measurements seemed closer to my size. The band fits perfectly; hopefully it won't stretch too quickly because I ...love it as is. It is the only bra I've worn that doesn't budge once it's in place.
The gore is super narrow, almost overlapping. And narrow cups, yay! Next time I order a Comexim plunge I may get reduced cup height as these are a little tall on me. They want more apex projection than I have. Combined with being a tad large in the cups, I get some gapping, but it's not a dealbreaker. The shape is lifted and centered (and I think it would be even better with a perfectly-fitting cup).
The chevron fabric covers the diagonal seam that's so pronounced on some Comexim plunges, so I think this makes it more discreet under clothing. Seams still show a little under tight tops. Read more 125 more words
This is a really beautiful neutral bra... the peachy pink base almost blends into the skin, leaving just the grey lace overlay! I love the double layered bows also. The wires are conspicuously wider than they are in the plunge style, however the bra is extremely comfortable in all respects. Unfortunately, the cup volume is correct but this bra just lacks the amount of center projection that an EM CHP in my size has, so the gore floats on me. On someone with less center fullness, I think this bra would be absolutely gorgeous.
I got this along with 65G - Comexim » Victoria Plunge Bra , and this one fits much better. The band is looser, fits me without an extender. There is minimal quad on the bigger side so thats not an issue at all. straps are nice and comfy, however id prefer narrower set for more comfort. Overal I really like this bra, however im still tempted to try it as a 3hc with few modifications : )
I find this bra very comfortable. I like how it looks from the side - it does not push my bust too much up and front. The shape is less rounded than the Beauty halfcup, but I feel it makes my overall silhouette look a bit lighter. It fits nicely when I stand in my normal posture, however if I push my shoulders way back it cuts in at the cup edge, but it is not a problem for me as I rarely do that - perhapse only when I tried to take the side shot of myself in the bra to post here. The gore tacks as it is rather low. As I have rather soft tissue it might not be the perfect bra for me, but I feel quite good in it. I have a matching thong in size M and it is rather tight - cuts in at the drop waist. (My hips 95 cm, drop waist 87 cm).
This bra is beautiful but alas, the cup size is too small. It provides phenomenal lift and the band is like a thundershirt ( I personally like a bit of a tight fit). Unfortunately the lace patterning on the top of the cup may show under thinner shirts.
I like the look of this bra. Size wise I needed to size up one cup from plunge style. I wear 70HH in Comexim plunges and 70HH in this was too small, so I took 70J and it fits rather nicely. The gore does not tack. For comparison I wear Ewa Michalak in size 70FF (though I feel some of EMs I would prefer 65G). The band is tighter than my Comexim Rita and does get a bit uncomfortable in the end of the day. The shape is very rounded.
My first Comexim, in 38E (it fit like a UK 36F), was my best-fitting and most comfortable bra. Since then I have gained weight and have tried the brand again in other sizes now twice; neither has really worked. I clearly have crossed over into the too-plus-sized-for-Comexim territory, which I was familiar with as a fitter when dealing with this brand; we had Comexim in larger sizes but they rarely worked, flopping right over due to the lack of coverage. The narrow, low, soft wires and low wings which make this a great brand for the small-band-large-bust set just don't suit many bigger women.
I went up one ...cup to try and get the wires wide enough, but at the expense of support; the cup is now a bit too big and the wires are still too narrow. I went up in the band, too, but even though (at a 37" ribcage) I am normally a 38 band, this 40 is too tight without an extender. The gore is too narrow (interestingly, this is actually what's making the wires too narrow for my root at the sides, since I removed a wire and measured it and it's my usual size 46 wire, no narrower than Panache or anything else, just very short at both the gore and the side) and causes the band to dig uncomfortably into my stomach under the gore, even when made quite loose with an extender.
Also, I don't love the materials, though they are perfectly in line with the bra's price. I fell for this bra because of the beautiful flower print but up close it's just a cheap, stretchy mesh. On the band it's overlaid on top of the firmest powermesh I have ever witnessed -- too firm! -- and the elastics likewise are overly firm and dig in unattractively. The straps feel stiff and dig in, though that's partly because the slightly large cup isn't providing enough support.
Although this is kind of a fail on me in a technical way, it's still one of my best fitting bras since my recent size change. And it's muy, muy beautiful! So I still wear it a lot. I do wish Comexim would broaden their gores and raise the side wire height on larger band sizes. Read more 270 more words
I know for customizations they can raise the wing height, which may help. It's worth a try to see if they would widen the gore, since they're willing to narrow it. I would recommend emailing them, if only for curiosity's sake :)
that's a good idea! I think i'm just not attached enough to comexim to worry about it, though. Basically all the features that make the brand what it is mean that it doesn't work perfectly for me, and there are plenty of other bras that will work fine. Plus I am starting to make my own :) so hopefully i'll be able to get allll the customizations I want :)
This bra was transferred to me from as new without tags, and I really wish it worked. Everything is perfect but the cup, which cuts into my tissue pretry badly. This is a truly beautiful bra, especially considering how basic it is. The band has an appropriate amount of stretch, and seem to run "true to size", when you considering that a 65 band is more like a uk 28 than a 30. The bras constriction is wonderful, it feels sturdy and light at the same time. Kind of like a mithril brassiere. Truly gorgeous, I hope the next owner finds it to fit.
I knew that the band will be too loose on me, but I was reading reviews saying that the bra runs smaller and sizing up is a good option.. Not in my case, the bra is like 75F (I do wear 70F, so if I should take bigger cup the 75f would be sister size). The cups has a lot of gapping. However is such a cute Spring/summer bra. So I have to sell it unfortunately https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Queequeg0925 I've posted pic of our Joys so just to show you that they have already arrived to the UK https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Yes it was a hearbreaker for me too in 55HH, I found it really too shallow for me but it was nice to see how a 26 fits on me, as I really it!
Id be fine with wider wires if the cup volume would be smaller : ( but nothing that I can do now : (
Thank you for the picture and again for all of your help! ^_^ I'm sorry that yours didn't work :( I sized up with my first one too and it didn't work for me either :(
no worries Queequeg0925 , im doing my best to help others!: )
yeah its a shame, but at the same time i know that I prefer short versions rather than longlines as im petite and it feels weird having it on almost half of torso..
Shameless plug that I have this bra listed for sale :)
I'm really disappointed in this bra. I bought two Comexims before and they were size 65 and soooo big on me. So I sized down to a 60 and it's incredibly tiny. I need two band extenders. Hopefully it'll stretch quickly.
So sad to read this! Does it at least fit outherwise? I ordered the beauty in 60HH so I am really curious about your messurements! Are you hving a 2part hc or a 3 part hc?
Fits perfectly besides that. It's non returnable as well :( I'll be entering the measurements shortly.
I think I had read that Beauty runs tight. I think Charme does too.
The bras with lace around the band I order one band size up. They are even tight then.
I have a Charme and while it isn't unbearably tight, it is the smallest Comexim band I own at the moment
It's a gorgeous bra. I'll be wearing it with two extenders.
My other 65s stretched to 71. This is a 60 and stretches to 57.
Love it love it love it. I love myself in it haha. I believe the combination of black and pink is divine. (Yes it is! Lol) I ordered it as a two seamed halfcup and longline with cookie pockets and moved in straps 2cm. It fits like 34J so does not fit me.....
Addition: I altered the strap position. So the cup size is perfect for me. However......... Now it is too big in the band....ugh...https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The material of the band stretches easily, so that it fits like 38Gish now. Even though the cup size is correct, the band can't hold my boobs at all. I hate to give up this bra since it was my first well-fitting comexim 3hc.
Twoflower, I'm seriously sad to hear that, so the band runs a bit tight? Are the cups too small as well? I think the 70N should be ok I will be ordering a plunge with a reduced gore. The 70M I have quads on both sides now more than I want and I'm off my cycle smh.
Still looks gorg
So pretty , makes me really want a long line bra
MissAponii The band runs true to 'comexim' size lol. It is a little bit tight but not so firm. And comparing to the plunge cut with reduced cups in size of 85L (same as 80M), the plunge cut is slightly smaller imo. I think it is because the upper part of plunge cut is more closed.
Ivp It is comfy as well ;)
I bet it is Twoflower and would possibly help my bra slipping down in the front problem .
Really gorgeous bra. The eyelash lace lining the tops of the cups is extremely attractive - the shade of blue used is also amazing and reflects beautifully under light. This seems more "true to size", however, I only have another 65G to base this opinion on. The base of this is a very pale beige that matches my skin color well because I have only been sighted outside about 12 times in total. It seems that any quad that exists is masked by the eyelash lace, but I am pretty sure just the cut of it is a tad bit too small at the top. However, I have a lot of upper fullness to take into account. Really a beautiful bra, though the fastener is a 2x2 that is oddly spaced and doesn't seem to match any extenders I've seen!
So far this is the best fit I've found. I've tried several UK bras to no avail. The 55HH was too small in the cup and this 55J is pretty much perfect. The gore floats because it's too separated for me, but otherwise a great fit.
Very lovely limited edition bra in a rich and unusual color. The cups are overlaid with deep chocolate brown lace and trimmed with a bronzy-coppery colored ribbon, but what really sold me was the butterfly cameo on the center gore... just like the EM S Kamea it's a beautiful detail that truly completes the bra!
Band, cups and wires fit true to size and give flatteringly subtle, centered cleavage with a lifted, natural shape. That being said, like the other unaltered 65HHs I own, there's maybe not quite enough center projection, and the top of the gore refuses to firmly tack. It's a mild annoyance for someone that feels at peace with the world with a well tacking gore, but it doesn't otherwise comprise support https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> This bra is truly one that I forget I'm wearing, it's so soft and comfortable in every way!
At first I was a little disappointed because the fabric felt so wired and stiff, and it makes a little squishing noise if I squeeze the cups, but I’m hoping it will soften a bit with wear. When I put it on I get a little bit of quad boob, but it still feels really comfortable on, so I think I will wear it quite a bit anyway. The band feels perfect on me and it stays in place , so I don’t need to pull it down or anything during the day, which is a big plus for me. I will try to update this after a few more wears https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Holy projection! My first Comexim bra that I tossed and turned about the fit on but once I properly swooped and scooped the gape at the top of the tall cups was negligible. I would order from Comexim with alterations but their bands only go to 90? Maybe a larger band is an alteration option? I would put in cookie pockets and opt for a less tall cup next time. Finally beginning to understand what "short rooted" means. Overall this brand is yet another great one!
hmm, i like that shape more than most comexims? is it customized at all? i didnt quite understand your excited review there
I've never tried to order a custom band size, but I know they'll do custom cup sizes so a larger band is probably an option. Just a little note though, custom sizes are non-returnable if you order directly through Comexim
So lovely on you!!
I'm pretty sure they'll do custom band sizes cuz wellfitting sells comexim bras up to a 50 UK band.
dbmamaz This one is not customized at all. Excited by my first try of this brand. It is almost perfect but next time I would alter to less tall cups for an even better fit.
I got this bra as part of a three bra package from martka00, along with the @Comexim Audrey and Magic Blue in the same size. This was actually *the* bra that prompted that purchase, having been on my wishlist (along with the Carmen-- anyone got a Carmen in 75/80E they wanna sell?) ever since... well, not *quite* the beginning of my bra fit journey, but darn close-- I actually was exchanging emails with Anna about custom ordering a Carmen when I still wore 32HH.
The other two Comexim bras in this order had the narrowest wires of any company I've tried, so the Geisha ...having such a wide wire measurement really surprised me (and, apparently, the moderation team, as I recently received a request to verify the measurement-- but I can't squish it down below 5.5" without potentially damaging the wire; these are some heavy duty underwires). Once it's on, by some bra magic, they fit perfectly into my IMF. The depth measurement made me worry that it might not fit, but it essentially pushes my breasts in and up juuuust enough that I actually look like I have upper fullness from certain angles. (Spoiler alert if you haven't read my bio or any of my recent reviews: I very much *don't* have upper fullness, despite what the lean test tries to tell me.)
Like the Audrey and the Magic Blue, the straps are plain black with what I've come to think of as 'resistance stitching', and are the right cross between stretchy enough to give a little and sturdy enough to support the level of projection the cup provides. They are 0.75" wide in an 80E. Adjusting them takes some work, and once they are adjusted they do *not* move. The cups are shorter than the Audrey and the same height as the Magic Blue, and the projection and depth is less than both bras. I was actually quite worried that it wouldn't fit based on the measurements, but it fits quite well as previously mentioned.
The band has the same coppery flower lace print used for the cups (obvious) over a gray/silver mesh that feels very nice against the skin.
All in all, this is a beautiful and remarkably comfortable bra, which is finally receiving the same love as the other two as my size has (once again) changed slightly as I continue to lose weight. Read more 292 more words
