    Didn't fit

Well this is my second attempt at Comexim, two sizes down from the ginormous 60K I previously tried, and it's a no go too. So I'm disappointed and more confused on my Comexim size, and will be posting a fit check I'm sure.

First of all, it's a lovely bra. I love the green lace overlay. It's insanely soft and comfortable. It's pre-owned but is in great shape. The band is possibly stretched out a bit, I put it on the middle hooks.

However, I've finally done it - I've met a gore that doesn't tack. The wire width and projection are fine, ... but it's obviously too small in the cups, my nipples threaten to pop out. The cups seem quite short so I have asked the seller if the cups are reduced because she didn't specify, and I think knowing that will help me decide what size to try next. I'll update when she answers. Typically I wear a 28FF in unlined bras and a 28G in molded bras, so I'm somewhat surprised at how much too small this 60HH is.

This is a really pretty set. The material is soft and the colors are nice. I like that the background is more of a gray than white.
The band is good and the straps are comfortable. The cups are just too small for me. The gore floats and I quad on my larger side, as I move about I spill out into the center.
It's comfortable though, the wires are spot on for my root and I feel like I'm wearing nothing, in a good way.

This was the first bra I found that came close to fitting. Comfortable and cute. Surprisingly, if anything it's slightly too large in the cup at the top but just barely. It might be the cup height. I'm not bothered by the strap width or the wing height - so it makes a good shirt bra.

I purchased this bra used so I marked the band as altered since it isn't what it originally was and I didn't want to mess up the measurements.

    70M

    Fits

Good news, sisters! Comexim does cupsizes 70 M-O (european sizes) without any extra fee if you just ask. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

My earlier experience with Comexim was limited to a Kiwi Sorbet bra in 70L, (EU) which I strongly suspect to have been mislabeled - it's THAT much smaller in the cup than my new 70M. The bands match well, though.

So, about this bra. It's a padded plunge, but the padding is quite thin, certainly thinner than what EM uses, for example. The inside of the cups is soft and pleasant against skin. The bra itself is dark coffee brown in colour and ... has an overlay of cream/vintage white lace and apricot ribbons. It's understated in the colour scheme but very pretty, I find that colours bring out the best in my skin tone.

The shape is very rounded, slightly up-tilted and pleasing, suitable to naturally top-heavy breasts. The cup shape is quite deep and there's some empty room on the top of the cup of my smaller breast. The band is a true 70/32, but it's stretchier than most EM and all Bravissimo bras I own. Although Bravissimo plunges have a lower center gore, I consider this to be a true plunge, it gives a good but not OTT cleavage.

The straps are much thinner both in width and in general material than all my other bras (excluding Cleo Meg, which is thinner in width but thicker in material) and they are very shiny and slippery, hence the need to adjust them during the day if I move briskly for a longer time. I think I have to sew them to my preferred length to avoid the re-adjusting circus. The straps are the only serious con I can find in this bra.

All in all I'm happy to have given a new chance to Comexim and will definitely use their custom size option in the future. A great everyday bra, this one.

    65HH

    Didn't fit

Despite having very similar measurements to the Queen of Hearts bra, the Sapphire clearly doesn't fit. The width is still lovely and narrow, the band is still comfortably snug, but the top of the cup is too closed off and creates a quad-boob. While both this bra and the Queen of Hearts may be a little too small at the moment, the Queen of Hearts is open enough to still fit and wear comfortably, but the ribbon-edged cup of the Sapphire tries to enclose my breasts too early and makes the cup too small.

It's a shame because I really wanted a nice, bright blue in my bra wardrobe. ... There are too many pinks and reds and purples available at the moment, so whenever I see a nice blue or green I get excited and check to see if it might work with my skin tone. This color is great, really vibrant, and I wish it fit better.

Wearing the bra over time, the quad-boob settles more into the cup and it isn't as dramatic as the pictures show, but it's still there, and I'm going to be more comfortable with a bra that doesn't have it at all.

It's still the usual excellent Comexim quality, however, and I highly recommend it to anyone who fits a 65HH and isn't crazy full on top.

    60J

    Didn't fit

This bra is beautiful, comfy (except under the arms) and appears to be well made. Since my only other Comexim is a (somewhat too small) 60HH Basic, I'll compare its fit to that bra. As ginganinja said, the fit is different with the PFM.

The PFM's band is significantly stretchier than the Basic. I'm really only comfortable with the PFM set to the tightest hook, while the Basic feels tight on its loosest hook. Consider sizing down in the band.

The PFM cups are significantly taller than the Basic, giving me empty space at the top of the cups. I measured the height along the ... front cup seam of the PFM as 2 cm taller than the Basic. It is even taller at the straps, and is significantly higher than the Basic under the arm. Had I known, I would have ordered reduced cups. FWIW, the gore is about the same as the Basic.

Obviously, you'd expect the cups to be a little taller on a 60J than a 60HH, but they seem really high at the strap, and angle down into a gore the same height as the 60HH. I've uploaded pics showing the front and side with the Basic worn over the PFM.

tl/dr- Pretty bra, but size down in the band, and reduce the cups for a fit more akin to the Basic

    • Thanks for doing this review! I'm glad to see it *is* the model of the bra, and not just a glitch with mine. It's a good thing it's so gorgeous, otherwise the tall cups might be a deal breaker.

    75HH

    Fits

This is a moulded-cup bra that fits like a soft-cup bra. The cup is made up of three parts, similar to soft-cup bras. It also is made of a thick cloth, not the foam that is found in other moulded-cup styles. If I had to describe it, I'd say that it's more of a soft-cup bra with really, really thick cups instead of moulded, even though it holds its shape when I take it off.

This is my first Polish bra, and I'm impressed. I wear a 32GG in British bras, and this 75HH fit really well. The cups may be a tiny, tiny ... bit too big, but I'm afraid that a 75H would fit too small. It's a gorgeous bra, with tiny bows and lace trim, and it's prettier than any other nude bra I currently own. The band is nice and snug, and it's not too tight. It stretches to 31 inches exactly, and my snug undercuts is 31.25, so it's not uncomfortable. The underwires and cups hold all of my tissue after scoop/swoop, which is something I can't say about any other bra I own.

I'm very pleased with Comexim and I look forward to trying more of their bras.

I exchanged the 65J for this, and I'm glad I did! No more quadboob, but the wires still feel like they encase my breasts well. I might be imagining it, but it seems like the straps are a little wider than the 65J? But otherwise, I'm pretty excited, because it seems to me like a good fit. I think in an ideal world the band would be a smidge longer, but I anticipate that it will stretch out, and I can fit two fingers in as it is. I'll try to update this review once I've given it more than a ten minute wear, but so far I ... feel optimistic!
ETA: Okay, I've warn this for several days now, and I'm still pleased. I don't notice the band at all once I'm actually just wearing it, and not hyper-focused on bra fit. I love that the wires seem to actually go around my breasts, instead of too wide and too low like my other bras. I think it's really pretty - a good basic beige t-shirt bra, but I love the little decorative bits like the lace edging. In an ideal world, I think the straps would be a little closer together, but they don't slip off my shoulders as much as my other ones. Basically, I feel really good about this bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Didn't fit

This was my first Comexim bra and I purchased it when I was about a 32J (now 30HH). The band was too big, but it was still wearable on the tightest hooks. The cups were a little on the large size too, so I only wore it a few times when my breast size fluctuated and I wanted to wear a loose band for comfort, and even then the cups gapped. It was only really wearable at those times because my breasts are quite full on top. Really though, this size would best suit a 34J.

The wires on the side are quite low so pinching was ... never a problem and they never dug in. The wires are also quite narrow (as tends to be the case for Polish bras), which I love because I have quite a narrow root. The narrow gore is great for close set breasts. And the shape Comexim bras give is very uplifted, round, but not too orb-like. The Free Time pattern is pretty cool as well. I love that Comexim does so many prints. The material is super comfortable as well... the lining of the cups are so soft, in the right size, these bras are a dream to wear.

The cons to Comexim bras, I find, is that the cup height often comes up a little tall.. This can be amended by emailing them when ordering and asking for a reduced cup height (they don't charge for this).

    Welp, this bra is amazing.
The one I have has 3 clasp closure, lowered gore, and reduced cups.
It fits smaller than the other 60H Comexim I have although I think that's mostly because I'm fairly projected on the bottom/middle and then shallow up to my collarbone. This bra is snug and comfortable along with being a super beautiful fabric! It's convinced me to buy reduced cup Comexims now!

This bra has a UK size tag only. This change has been made for Canadian distribution. I have the Comexim Pantera in 70H and it is slightly small so I went one size up with this one. At first try, I had a small amount of gaping at the bottom of the cups by the center gore. I fixed this by inserting the cookies from one of my Ewa Michalak bras. This is a very comfortable bra and gives a nice rounded and uplifted shape. The seams do show a bit under a plain shirt.

I have been in love with this bra from the moment i saw it! I don't even know why. I never wear brown so it is a very off the wall choice for me. But it is just as rich and beautiful in person! I had ordered this along with a Mint with the same alterations but in one size up, 65M. From the pictures, i loved this one more than Mint so i chose to get it in the size i really thought was going to be perfect, 65L. Wrong! I wish this bra had been perfect for me! But if i could make a Frankenstein bra ... out of the two, it could be perfect! The wires stop right after my breast tissue ends. I have never had a bra do that! The cup height is also perfect in the armpit area and i dont notice the gore at all. The depth is definitely lacking though. I'm not sure if reducing the cups makes it more like a smaller size, if it runs small, or if i am just definitely not a 65L. It measures less than 11" cup depth though and i am always needing 11"+! I get some quadboob and TONS of boob peeking out over the top. It is so cute, not uncomfortable, and passable in my mind so i will keep it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I am seriously frustrated with these Polish bras. The conflicting fit advice is maddening. There are people with 27" UB that say 30 is too loose, others say too tight. This bra is so far off from fitting me it is absurd. The band is so tight I can barely hook it, the cups are too small as well. My UB measures 26-29" and OB is around 35". 65G might be OK in the cup, but I doubt the band would work. Great quality and I would love to have some of these bras, but the process of finding a fit is outrageous. I hope once I find a size that works it will work in all styles, but I doubt it. Why aren't there any standards and/or consistency? argh.

I believe the basic is said to run small in both band and cup

    • From experience, Comexim runs tight in the band- so I size up- and the Basic runs about a 1/2 cup smaller than other cuts. I'm having my own run around with the Basic so I absolutely understand your frustration!

    • Thanks to you both! It seems crazy to wear a different size in different styles of the same brand, but even worse I see reviews of the same exact bra in the same exact size with conflicting statements about band size. It seems as though there isn't even consistent sizing within the same size and style sometimes. I used Wellfitting's size calculator and opted for the comfy fit suggestion on this one.

    • Basic's band is not really tighter than other Comexim plunge styles (unless it's black fabric, which for some reason tends to be a bit tighter). Not from my experience with the 70Gs I own, anyway. Sounds like a 70H should work better for you?

    • I meant 70F. You'd probably do better in a 70F. Derp.

    • I feel you - I'm selling a Basic right now for this exact reason (except the cups do not remotely fit in mine). If it fits OK in the cups you could try an extender to save returning it?

    • 1

Thanks all! I think I will return it and try a 70F. Thankfully I bought it from Wellfitting, so I am able to send it back for an exchange pretty easily. The extender helped, but the cup is still too small.

    65HH

    Fits

If you’ve been following my bra adventures you’ve seen that I first bought it in a 65H, which was too small. Trying it again, in the 65HH, I’m pleased to say that some of the issues are fixed. The cup feels like a much better fit overall. I do still think that for whatever reason the cups are a touch closed, giving me a bit of quadboob in moments of heavy inhalation, but honestly? This bra is gorgeous and it fits me, and I want to keep it.

One other difference is that the 65H had two hooks per column and the 65HH has three. I don’t really think ... I need the three hooks, but for the ladies that do, it’s still a very comfy band—probably comfier, honestly, for being a little wider. I’ll take it.
My favorite thing about this bra? It’s Comexim, so it shares the virtues of Comexim plunges: the cups are deliciously narrow, decently projected, and the straps—my God, the straps—do not dig into my armpits even a little bit. I’m in heaven.

Again, I adore the visuals of this bra. The blue remains gorgeously striking and the bra lifts my boobs admirably. I highly recommend unless you're seriously FOT.

I was so excited to come home to my mailbox today and see the Comexim sent from MommaK. I've been trying to nail down my perfect size because the more I read the more I want to experiment. So far my best fitting is a 80GG EM with an extender.
Onto this bra- I love the lacy fabric and bows. Makes me feel quite sexy compared to the few other OK fitting bras lol. As far as fit goes it's a great firm band and I love it. I've noticed I need a 36 and not a 38 for the support. There is absolutely no gapping and ... nothing is digging into my underarms so that is a big win. The wires are perfectly narrow! I really should go up a cupsize though, the more I settle into the bra the more quadding I'm getting. When I look down well, the gore has disappeared a bit lol. I can feel that the gore isn't really tacking at all and my breasts aren't getting the depth they want. On the bright side I have the best cleavage I've had in years!
Overall, it's not a disaster on me by any means but I'm very aware that this wouldn't be a working size for me in Comexim. I'm thinking plunges may not be my best friend either but that needs more trial and error. This bra is super super comfortable though and I really do love it, minor flaws and all.

  17. Joy Half Cup Longline (379)

    70G

    Didn't fit

The anticipated longline! Silky soft material on the outside, standard Comexim cup material on the inside. This is my first Comexim half cup, so I can only compare to the plunges. As expected, the cups are slightly wider and flatten my boobs inward a bit compared with the same size in a plunge, but they are still contained (soft tissue!). The florals are bright and airy (a vintage sort of print), the lace detailing is gorgeous, and the bows are a great match for the pattern colors. All in all, a gorgeous product.

Sadly, it does not work for me.

Problems: the band is loose, only has 2 columns ... of eyes (why???), and combats fiercely with my flared ribcage. The band stretches about an inch more at the top than at the bottom and middle (34 at the top, 33 at the bottom). My ribcage slopes the opposite way: narrow at the top at the underbust and wider directly afterwards where my ribs end. If your ribcage flares directly underneath your breasts, this could work to your advantage, but I would advise against this longline for anyone whose flare does not start for about an inch past your underbust. The band just rolls straight up; with this print, I can't stand the look of the crumpled band.

Now that I have seen the print on myself, I also find that I am not quite in love with it as a part of my wardrobe. I have to admit that I'm a bigger fan of darker, more geometric prints.

If you love the print but don't think the longline would work for you, there is a standard halfcup version on Comexim's website!

If you have no flare and your waist is smaller than your underbust, this longline could be an amazing and soft addition to your wardrobe.

    • Only two columns?! I wonder if they will do more as a customization...
I also wonder if they'd be willing to make it into a plunge, instead.

    • With all the other customizations they do, I don't see why they wouldn't add more columns. Of course, I wonder why they didn't do so in the first place...

    • I wish I had known about 1: the overly strechy band and 2: the two colums of eyes. Since I had mine made in a custom size (55H) I can't return it. It's still a stunning bra though.

  18. Free Time Plunge Bra (270)

I adore the toned-down colors and defined lines of this bra! No lace or frills on this beauty (the very unobtrusive bow between the cups doesn't count). The materials are sturdy, not luxurious (still comfortable, though), but that fits with the style of the bra. The bad is a true 32, not tight like my 70G - Comexim » Tropical Garden (191). Also, it comes up higher in the wings than the Tropical Garden., which is great since it covers a little more bulge that way. Cups are very nice and narrow as expected from Comexim, and the top curves in just enough to keep my boobs from escaping. Altogether what I want in a bra; I am in love!

    • Your review of the 70G basic is almost word-for-word what I would have written (I had to check and make sure it wasn't me!). It sounds like Free Time was better for you. How did you find the strap distance and projection around the gore in this compared to the Basic? Those are the same problems I'm having with it (I do love it overall though).

    • P.S. any alternative bra recommendations are welcome! Thank you :-)

    • Projection for the Free Time is decidedly better than the Basic, but that is partly due to the lower gore. It does run deeper at the gore; having pulled them both out and looked at them both while I'm wearing and off, I can tell there's more fabric. I don't get any quadding in this near the gore and the gore tacks just fine (it's not as hard a tack as I get in other brands, like Freya or Cleo). I like to contrast that with my Tropical Garden in the same size, which also has a lower gore than the Basic but tends to run a little shallower at the gore than the Free Time; I can get minor quadding in the Tropical Garden, but not enough to be a problem (it's still a bit deeper than the Basic).

Straps are ever so slightly wider set in the Free Time, though. Out of the three I own, the Tropical Garden seems to come in the narrowest near the armpits.

One issue with the Free Time that I have not experienced in any other of the Comexims I've tried so far: The ring that connects the straps to the band in the back is too large and does cause me occasional discomfort. My skin is obnoxiously sensitive, though.

My Free Time does run stretchier in the band than the Basic, so if you are borderline to loose in the Basic, I would size down to a 65H in the Free Time.

The Basic is still my best thin t-shirt bra because the fabric and seams are smoother than on the overlay lace style Comexims.

My only current recommendation other than the Comexims I own is the 32E Cleo Lily (possibly the 32F if you can tolerate a slightly wider wire, which die to ribcage issues I cannot). Projection is somewhat deeper, the straps are set slightly lower by the arms and narrower, and for some reason it's just more comfortable for daily wear. Gore is higher, though, if that causes any trouble for you.

    • Thank you for your detailed reply, that was so helpful!

Hmm, okay I want the color and no-show of the Basic, with the strap narrowness of the Tropical Garden, with the center projection of the Freetime. Kind of makes me want to custom order a Basic with straps moved in and lower gore, but I'm not sure a low gore would support the weight enough. I'll keep wearing the one I have and see how it wears.

I've been looking @ Cleo Lily a lot, considered buying a few times, but I am wary because looking at it again, the way the sides swoop up into the strap right by the underarm reminds me of the Panache Jasmine and Envy that I have. I haven't been happy with the shape of those - they've ended up too splayed and down-and-out for me, with the straps carrying a lot of weight and chafing. I think my breasts are closer together and heavier than those allow. Have you ever tried either of those on?

    • I haven't tried either the Envy or the Jasmine, though I have been curious about them. I don't know what the structure or materials of those bras are, but the Lily has a fairly stiff mesh that sort of forces me to the front (without being pointy, since I have the projection that it requires). Something in my head says either Jasmine or Envy has stretch lace, which if it's anything like the material on the Andorra I tried, wouldn't work for me.

    • So the strap distance on the Lilly really doesn't bother you? IDK why it looks wide to me, maybe the balconnette cut?

To answer Panache Q, they both do. Jasmine is single layer fabric all over, including stretch lace on top. Envy is double layer fabric all over, including the stretch lace portion. A greater % of the Envy cup is stretch lace, but it's much, much stronger than that on Jasmine (and Andorra, I'm told), thus I actually was able to size down a cup and get a perfect fit in Envy (my complaint about it being "down and out" was that its perfect fit only lasts 2-3 wears, then must be washed to restore it's support).

Tight in the band - I generally take a 34 and the 80 is almost too tight, and I'd like longer wires on the sides, but really, a pretty good fit, and definitely looks awesome, lovely cleavage.
