Scalloped strap edges. Too much quad boob, but so close. Comfortable around armpit tissue, but boobs fall out the top. Going down a band size, which we’ve necessary for a better fit, might cause the underwires to be too uncomfortable because they aren’t long enough horizontally possibly. I returned this bra.
Scalloped strap edges. No quad boob, but stretch lace lays flat against sternum on tip edge of cup, eliminating the roundness at the top of my breasts completely. Quite a lot of armpit spillage. I returned this bra.
ORIGINAL REVIEW 12/2022: This bra was probably the best fit for me (FOB, short roots, close-set on top) of all the styles and sizes of Elomi that I've tried, but the fabric was too stiff and scratchy and the wires were a bit firm/tight for my pain situation. The lace on the edge of cups also rubbed uncomfortably into my tail of spence. It's possible that a lighter color fabric would be softer, and that it might get softer after washing, but it's not comfortable enough for me to take that chance. I might revisit in the future if my pain gets better. It is very supportive.
UPDATE 9/2024: ...Well, I did revisit this bra about a year later and now it has become my best fitting, most comfortable bra! It did become MUCH softer and more comfortable after washing and wearing a few times, and all of the itchiness and fabric-related discomfort went away. Wearing an extender the first couple of weeks also helped it be more comfortable during the break in period. Now it is so comfortable that I often forget I'm wearing a bra!
Also, it works well for my asymmetry because of the stretch lace cups. It also has one of the lowest gores of the bras I've tried, which is really helpful because I am quite close set. Love this bra! Read more 117 more words
It's comfy and basic enough, but frankly I think the design is a bit ugly. I also don't like the top of the cups, where there's two layers of mesh. Even if it fits on top, the second layer of mesh makes it look wrinkled.
I loved the shape of the cups under my shirts--very flattering look! But the wings were too tall for my short-waisted self, and because the band was a little loose the bra pushed down my ribcage. If I fit it into my IMF, the wires were very poky.
Very pretty. Professionally fit early last year and after trying on for over an hour, settled on this one. Shape on me looks like a bullet. Cup does not stretch at all, nipple prominent show thru. Band is super snug.
I wish that I had this in my correct size. I was talked into it at the store and it is too tight on the band and I have to use an extender. It pokes me in the ribs. I love that it comes with matching panties!
Morgan is a perfect fit for me, super soft and comfy, very well made, and the colour is so pretty.
The Matilda frame comes too close to my armpits, but Morgan doesn't do that at all. The gore is a little tall for my personal taste as I prefer plunges, but it's not too tall for my frame (unlike Cate which was a disaster).
This didn't fit at all. Elomi Morgan in the same size (40HH) is my perfect fit, but the Brianna had a huge gap at the top of the cups and the lace was all floppy, it was like the lace was made for cups 3 sizes larger than the padding. I got it on sale from Amazon so maybe there was something wrong with it? It seems improbable that an Elomi in my proper size would fit that terribly. Oh well.
I wish the wings and gore were just a bit shorter, but so far it is my best fitting bra. The stretch lace is forgiving for shape, the band is true to size, it feels supportive but not too firm. Material could be softer.
Shallow at the wire and the cup is tall for a half cup bra in a plunge style. It did not work for me and I returned it. I did measure it for the data base though.
