Breasts fit comfortably and snugly into the cups. The underwire was snug, the gore tacked wonderfully. The support is amazing and the lace is surprisingly fine against my sensitive skin after a full day of wear. The band is perfect, although it's a bit tough to put on correctly without twisting and flipping cups around. The only issue (though more visual than felt) would be the cups having some wrinkling on both sides, though I think this is due to my breast root being more narrow and the bra is made wider set. The quality is great and the fabric is a bit thick and firm, with not much stretch besides the fancy lacing around the top of the cup. I really love this bra and have considered buying another.
This is a really close fit for me in terms of projection. I am very projected and pendulous shaped with center fullness (so plunges are a big no) and the lace top is what sold me on this. Normally I fall out of a plunge! The gore almost lays down which is a miracle. Due to my shape I never fill in the bottom of a cup and top tissue is extremely soft from breastfeeding twice. So my right side is about 1-2 cups sizes smaller than my left which often represents a challenge. I've been looking for a replacement for my Elomi Tia because it's discontinued and now I'm spilling out of the top of the old Tia's. My only issue is that (I think) due to the extra fabric I'm getting some rubbing under the arm front of arm area rubbing. Not armpit. Now I'm super sensory sensitive to clothing so am I just hyper focusing and it's a correct fit or what?
It looks similar to Panache Jasmine, have you tried that model? Other than Tia being bandless, the construction is similar. Although if the chafing in the front is what is bothering you, maybe you could try a different style? For me, I won't wear a bra at all when I get that chafing issue, it's painful! It's usually from the band being too big though, where the straps are a little wider to accommodate a bigger band measurement. Have you taken your measurements recently?
Tried on and decided not to purchase. The spacer fabric was really comfortable and light. However there was some wrinkling at the bottom side of the cups, and the wire seemed marginally wide. Also, while the top did not quite create noticeable quadboob, it was cutting a little firmly along my breast tissue at an unflattering angle.
What can I say? I previously owned this bra in a 32H and 32J - Elomi » Sachi Plunge Bra (4350) when I was smaller. Now I've gained weight, and grabbed this in a 32JJ. This bra has been comfortable and a reliable fit for me in the sizes I've tried it in. May I never size out of it.
I was hoping this Elomi would fit similar to the Matilda, but it didn't work for me nearly as well. I think one problem is the fabric has less stretch, and therefore more fabric, and it fit me pretty baggy especially at the top of the cup. Most of the elasticity is in an elastic band the runs along the top of the cup, and that exasperated the spillage I tend to get near the gore with plunge bras, because it was cutting in specifically at the edge. It would likely work well for people with for even fullness, and the smooth fabric and lower profile seams seemed like they'd look good under thin shirts
I had a feeling from looking at images of this bra that it would be a shape mismatch because I have never fit well in full coverage bras, but I decided to give a try because it was so widely recommended. And indeed, it was bad. I'm probably in a cup size too large, but I don't think going down would fix that. The underwire extends very far wide, and there is a ton of empty room at the top of the bra. Also, the core twisted oddly. Despite being very high, the gore didn't poke me, and I think it's because this bra was pushing by breasts apart and they were not as close together at the top as they sit in most bras.
I bought this bra before I fully understood my shapes needs, but it did help me along my path of bra fit understanding. It is definitely too shallow and wide for me, and I think my boobs aren´t meant for plunges. I definitely have to scoop out, and it splays my boobs more than anything.
Storm colorway
This bra's measurements have been altered
I have bent the gore away from my chest, and bent the wires in to make them narrower overall
I love the look of this bra. It's light, it's embroidered, it sports a funky colour. I am pleasantly surprised that the embroidery and seems don't show too much under thin white t-shirts. The 4 part cup with side support lifts and shapes, the straps are wide and comfortable. Quality seems very good, no issues with stitching, no loose threads, fabric seems strong yet light.
This Raspberry was soooo different from the other three 42K Caitlyn's I had. The wires were the same length but were close to 2 inches wider! I sometimes wonder if I had unknowingly acquired a side support version of the Caitlyn, guess I will never know. The wires were almost at my back so this was obviously going to be too big.
The Caitlyn was a staple for me up to 2014 as I didn't know what other brands were out there that were more suitable for me. Up until that time, I bought 42K's because I didn't think anything else out there had enough cup volume and were supportive. I put this on recently and could not believe that I once thought this bra used to look good on me. I have lost about 15lbs since 2014 so that has a lot to do with what I was seeing. Compared to my recent acquisitions, the Caitlyn is matronly looking and fitting. I appreciated the colors that were available at the time but today, I would not consider purchasing the Caitlyn or it's replacement, the Cate as there are so many other brands and models for bigger girls out there.

I bought this bra on a second hand website in size UK34H. This is a underwired sport bra with unpadded cups. There is a criss-cross hook system presents on the bra's straps. The straps are adjustable all the way. The fabrics of the bra feels like thick swimwear material. The band is firmer than the regular day-to-day Elomi bras, so do not buy a band size smaller! It doesn't compress the breast so I think this bras is more suitable for low to medium impact sports. The upside of the lack of compression is that I could wear this bras under regular clothes as it gives a nice ...shape to my breast. The straps were too long for me, so I needed to adjust them to make them shorter. When shortened, the criss-cross hook system is useless as this system was put before the adjustement system on the bra's strap! After a long day of wear (10+ hours), I begin to feel a bit of pain where the wires sit against my ribcage. I think this is caused by the firmness of the wires, they aren't flexible at all. This is why I rated "Okay" in the comfort section. Read more 91 more words
I bought the Elomi Meredith bra second hand in size UK34H in the color saharah (beige). This is my holy grail as the bra is comfortable & give my FOB, pendulous breasts a good appearance. The straps are adjustable all the way, the lace panel on the unlined cups are soft to the skin & not itchy. When I wear it, my breasts have a slightly pointy shape.
Love this bra! I had heard Elomi runs large, so I was worried I wouldn't fill the cups. But this bra is as close to perfect for me as I have found so far! The band is big enough to be comfortable, and everything sits where it should. I do think the wires are a bit wide for me, they end way past where my breast tissue ends in my armpit. Doesn't hurt or anything though. My only complaints is the clasp is a little bit scratchy, which irritates my back a bit, and I find it gives me a bit of a weird shape. Hopefully a couple of washes softens it up a bit.
I bought the same size I wear in my other Elomi bra, but there is too much space at the top. Just seems like too much material, but could just be my shape. I also wish it were a different material. Feels like a regular bra to me, not what im used to in a sports bra.
This is a very first review of a bra for me, so it may seem basic to the experienced crowd. I love the look of this bra, the colour is dark but not black, more of a graphite, and the embroidered little beads are adorable and feminine. The mesh fabric would be great for hot days as it's light and breathable, yet is is very supportive. Overall Elomi Matilda is nicely made and beautifully finished. The band it wide and solid, it fits comfortably, but cups, in my case, are not filled entirely, with empty spaces at the bottom sides and top, so I am looking forward to trying a smaller size. I can't say if it has enough projection for me as it is too big.
Welcome to Bratabase! I think you will find BTB a friendly and informative place, I know I do.
The measurement data you provided makes me suspicious of the labelling for your bra. The 14.6 inch depth you measured is closer to a JJ or K so I would suggest you try another 34HH Matilda to confirm your bra's measurements. There are currently 2 other 34HH Matilda's listed here and their cup depth's are significantly smaller and closer to what a HH cup usually is.
When I first purchased this bra, it fit like a dream. This was my first purchase of this size after getting fitted in a boutique bra shop in the US (I am a US based bra shopper/wearer). It fit wonderfully for a couple years, and in that time I purchased a bunch of this model I'm other colors. Now, while the band fits, though it is stretched enough on all of the bras to go to the second hook, the cup is too small and I am spilling out on top so I have to shop for a new size. If this comes in my new size, I will certainly purchase a couple! It has been very comfortable, good lift, nice shape, no digging in anywhere.
This website has a bunch of Tia's left: https://www.shopavasimone.com/products/elomi-tia?variant=41954872426714
