I was trying to space my reviews out but I failed. I just love this bra so much I thought I was going to burst if I didn't share it. Unfortunately for me, the band runs a size tight and I need two hooks on an extender to wear it. I know you aren't supposed to wear extenders when you post pictures here but I can't even fasten it without them. The pink strap bows have been swapped for white ones and those two things are pretty much the only negatives I have to say about this bra. Very bridal-vibey-I think it's all the pastel pink and white. ...The thong is also a winner. It's got a very wide band and looks very comfortable. The cups on this bra are narrow and deep and fit me perfectly. I wish the band ran true to size as that's the only flaw I can find in this bra and wearing an extender pushes the strap width to the limits of my comfort. It's absolutely lovely and I can't wait to wear it. As always, full review on my blog. Read more 79 more words
First off I would like to thank SmallBandBella from whom I have received this bra from. Oh my, where do I even begin... This bra is AMAZING! It's the first EM I've tried so far(in my actual size anyways) Its probably the best fitting bra I have tried thus far, not to mention comfortable I forget I'm wearing it sometimes. Lots of projection, narrow wires, comfortable band, great shape, aesthetically pleasing. All my boxes are checked. The cups are constructed of a sheer beige mesh which is unfortunately a few shades too dark to blend seamlessly with my skin tone but I'm also about as ...pale as a ghost so I'm not too surprised lol! Lets elaborate more on the aesthetically pleasing department, I mean look at this thing its gorgeous! The contrast between the sheer beige and black satiny seams, the decorative straps, the double strap triangle things (eloquent wording I know) in the back, little sparkly details... so much wow. Those decorative straps though... so beautiful yet so frustrating, they are a pain to get to just the right length to lay properly. Too tight and they cut in, too loose and they slide all over the place. Precision and patience is the key. Enough about the straps! Looking at it as a whole the strap thing seems so insignificant. Generally I don't care for sparkly rhinestone embellishments I tend to find them overly flashy and obtrusive, although this is an exception. The embellishments add a bit of softness and elegance to the more dominating clean cut contrasting lines of the overall construction. 9/10 would recommend. Now I just need to get the matching bottoms and I shall be content.
That is beautiful, great match for your skin tone too. I've been wanting to try this one, but wasn't sure how it look on fair skin.
OMG!! Wow, wow and WOW!!! Perfection!! You look amazing in this!! I'm SOOOO happy this fits you! And I even had the matching briefs to go with it but sold them on Reddit. They seemed to run a bit on the large side (for a small). But I am LOVING this bra on you :) Super sexy!!!
My first EM. Fabulous job shipping so quickly, immodestmouse. Thanks!!
It's altered to a 55GG, so the band is a bit too tight (as expected) and the straps are a little too wide set (kind of expected). Otherwise, I like it!
Edit to add - I have moved the straps in about 2cm on the front side only, since writing my original review. I plan on updating m blog sometime before I die to show how I did the alteration. It much improved the lift I get from this bra and added a degree of cakes cleavage that comes in handy sometimes!
So we've all heard about Ewa Michalak's wide-set straps by now. Well, the straps on this M Syrena are the widest-set I've ever encountered. When I first put the bra on, I was wondering why my armpits were hurting even though the wires didn't come up too high on the sides; eventually I realized that what was hurting was the straps, which might as well literally be in my armpits.
I love the M cut and don't have the wide-set straps issue nearly as badly with my other two M bras. The band on this bra is definitely bigger than ...the bands of my others, though, which probably contributes to the problem.
Other than that, I think this bra is really pretty. It gives me seriously good cleavage, better than pretty much any other bra I own (I threw away my old 32DDDs, lol). I'm glad I bought it because I had been wondering how the colors of the Syrena line actually looked in person ― the color scheme isn't really my style, but I enjoy the mermaidy aesthetic.
Reviewing this is just reinforcing my wish that Ewa would come out with some more M bras.... Read more 95 more words
I have always loved the Syrena. I had a 65FF S but I passed it on because I seem to have trouble with the S now. I have wanted to try it in a 70F M. Maybe one day. I definitely could live without the pink bow, but it kind of works.
Sorry, it doesn't fit you. I agree the straps are on the wide side - however, my 70F isn't as wide. I love my Syrena as it's very comfortable and also gives me great cleavage! I found also M Magique to give similar cleavage
I have no idea why it's taken me so long to review this bra, but I finally have five minutes of free time, so here we go. I am short- and narrow-rooted, projected, and have even vertical fullness though my short roots make me effectively somewhat FOB.
This bra is a couple shades lighter than my skin tone but still definitely wearable as a nude! The low, low gore makes it perfect for super low-cut dresses or shirts that I'd normally have to tighten the straps of or button up higher. When I scoop & swoop while leaning over, I fall out of the middle a bit, but standing ...up fixes that. It fits like my EM 60Gs -- i.e., the band is ultra tight and I use an extender on and off (btw, definitely going to buy extenders WITHOUT elastic bands because my extenders just ruin the fit of my bras by making the bands way too loose). The straps are, as expected, super wide-set, but they rarely slip off my shoulders. This bra gives me a very lifted appearance and great cleavage, which I can make greater by adding the cookies, though that mostly feels like overkill 😂 The wires are nice and narrow and align just about perfectly with my roots. I'm overjoyed with this purchase and I really, REALLY wish Ewa would make an effort to produce new bras in this cut and not focus almost exclusively on SF and BM cuts. I get that they are the most popular, but I would buy like 5 M bras if there were any others that I liked. Read more 160 more words
Looks stunning on you! I’m really keen to try an M cut, but there’s so few. :( my PLs are my best cut. I spill a little in the center near the gore, as I’m soft and center full. It’s a minor flaw in the great scheme of things.
My shape is low set, narrow and short rooted, soft and slightly pendulous.
I received this bra through MagdaBras4you , and it took about 2 months from the time I ordered it until it arrived in Canada. Ewa Michalak's shipping prices make it impossible for me to order direct, so I was glad to get this one through Magda. To assess whether or not this bra would fit (before ordering it), I tried the 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm Koronkowa. I haven't yet looked at how they measure compared to each other, but based on the pictures and fit, I'd say the Koronkowa ...was a better fit - better fit in my IMF around the underwire, and it also had a rounder profile. I get a more natural lift with the La Gloria, and the upper cup isn't as rounded looking as other bras I've tried - like my unlined Comexims. I'm hoping that this bra will 'round out' a bit more with wear and a wash because I'm not super bowled over with the shape I get right now; not that it's terrible or anything, just not super rounded, which I prefer (but my natural shape isn't super round either, so you know...). The lace is very accomodating to fluctuations and different breast sizes, so that's a nice feature. The underwires have to be pulled right up under my breast because if I don't hike it up, I get some space next to my IMF and a little tiny wrinkle. The band is nice and snug and has a bit of stretch but is not stretchy. I stretched it until the wires started to distort.
I think the La Gloria is absolutely stunning, with it's shimmering green-blue colour. I took a picture with some natural daylight to hopefully capture the colour a bit better. There are little black bows on the gore and straps, and the straps themselves are the same green and black as the bra (they remind me of garter belts for some reason). The straps don't have a ton of stretch to them. I'd say the straps are supportive, but JUST long enough for my tall frame. If I let them out to the fullest to where they are most comfortably loose, I get a bit of a saggier look. If I tighten them a bit, I get a rounder look... so it's a trade off for me. The inside of the bra has a black thin mesh lining that is not attached to the upper section of the cups, which is typical of the full lace BMs.
Overall excellent quality, beautiful lace, average to above average shape on me. Read more 341 more words
It looks good on you, though, slight imperfections aside!
Beautiful!
I agree it looks very good on you! Color wise, this one is one of my favorites. 💚
Thanks brasaremeanSonya and MamaPagan ! I love the colour so much! It's even more beautiful in person.
Such a beautiful bra! I think that it looks great on you, but I completely understand what you mean about the shape. I have the same struggles with my BM Cabernet.
You look amazing in it.😍
Thanks MagdaBras4you ! Thanks for helping me get this beautiful bra! ;)
Here is the beautiful, and much coveted, S Syrena. Aka the mermaid bra. And it’s mine now. ALL MINE!! It’s been discontinued for a while now, but I’ve seen it in blogs like Big Cup Little Cup and it’s been on my mind since I first saw it. I love the colours and the eyelashe lace and everything...sigh.
So, I never actually thought that I’d ever be able to actually own it, and I’d be coveting it for the rest of my life. But in the last year of my time on this site, I’ve made friends with other members who are close in size (and sometimes shape) to ...me. Earlier this year, I received 2 bras from Sonya to try, as they were cuts and sizes that I had not tried before. They were learning bras, with the option to buy if I had wanted. After quite some deliberation, I sent both back, and included my 28G Cleo Lily parrot print, because it was just too tight for me, and the fit wasn’t good once I added the full extender. Sniff. But her rib cage is smaller than mine, and our shapes are similar, so I swapped it for the Syrena here. I had to wait until after I tried the 65G S bras that I’d had sent to me because the 65FF CHP XOXO she sent me to try was borderline small. In addition to the Syrena, I purchased the 65FF PL Milady (review to come).
So, the 65Gs fit a bit big for me without the cookies, but decently with the cookies when I got them mid February. This led me to want to try the Syrena in 65FF as I don’t really like to wear the cookies to make the bra fit. I need as much depth at the wire as I can get, and the cookies remove some of the immediate depth. I’m ok with the cookies on special occasions for the oomph factor, but it’s not a daily wear preference. And given that the S cut is not as deep at the wire as other cuts, I really don’t want to sacrifice the room.
As mentioned, I’m pendulous/projected and need immediate depth. My tissue, is soft and malleable which is sometimes tricksy. Roots are average to narrow width, average to tallish, but since the tissue is soft, it’s also a bit shallow or deflated, and therefore functionally short and full on bottom, even though I’m actually a bit more even (I’m just not very full and even). Supported, I’m much more close set than I appear unsupported, and I’m fairly center full. The S cut gore is a short one, but not as short as PL, and I find that it’s a bit more closed on top compared with the CHP, which makes it a good fit for short roots.
Let’s talk about the visuals...mermaid bra is mermaid bra. The base of the cups are teal with navy lace over top. The vertical seam ribbon cover is also navy, but the horizontal one is teal, which matches the straps, and the side wing seam cover too. Navy eyelash lace appears over the teal cup above the teal seam ribbon. The band is navy with a strip of teal contrast at the bottom. As mentioned, the straps are covered in the teal satiny crinkle ribbon, and covers a good portion of the straps, and therefore render the straps only partially adjustable. In my case, I feel like I have no problem with this. The ribbon section is pretty stretchy, and I have enough room to adjust, but some others might find it a problem. And now let’s talk about the hot pink bows. They’re always seem to be brought up in reviews and I will do the same. I have mixed feelings about them. I do like the contrast colour and I think that it’s a nice match to the colours of this bra. But I’m not sure if I am on board with the oversized bow at the gore. I think it’s a bit crushed between my boobs. The tiny ones on the straps seem ok, though I typically don’t like strap bows at all. All said, it’s a visually stunning bra, and it deserves all the coveting it gets.
Now onto the fit. When it arrived, I was a few days shy of my period, and I had a bit of spilling, mostly on the center gore half of the cups. That said, at the same time, the 65G S fit without the cookies (I updated pics in my Mojito to show the difference)...so with that in mind, I assume that the spilling was simply from high tide swelling. Since then, the swelling has gone down a bit, but I still spill a little bit at the center. I know it’s at least partly my soft, center full tissue, but I don’t know if it’s also just a tad bit too small overall. I’m reverse scooping and it’s pretty good, but not perfect. The band is the thickest and firmest of all my Ewas...just at the lower end of my comfort range. I’m not sure if it’s the material or construction or what. I’ve tried to compare with my other Ewas and I can’t figure out what the difference is, but it is definitely different. The wires are nice and narrow, but I feel like I am slipping a little bit through the day. And they feel like they are digging in. I’m not sure if it’s a band related issue or not. I think it’s a touch too shallow for me, but it’s possible that it’s also just from being borderline small. I’m curious if I would fit the 70F any better/differently.
I’ve got lots of cleavage, and I feel like I am pretty front and center, and lifted. Side profile makes me feel like my boobs are bigger than they are. Very much a defined profile in a snugger top. Overall, it’s a beautiful bra, and I think that it’s a decent fit for me, but it’s not perfect. To be honest, I still kinda want to see how rachaelll’s 70F M Syrena fits. I think that I prefer the look of the S from the front, as a balconette style, but the PL is ultimately more comfortable, even though a bit tall cups. Am I glad that I have this? You betcha! But I admit that I am slightly underwhelmed by the overall fit. It looks good but does not fit as comfortably as I had hoped. I wore my 70E S Szykus a lot because it was so comfortable, despite being a size and a bit small. Which kind of makes me think about the 70F/FFs.
I’m grateful to Sonya for the trade, since it was not listed (I’d stalked her bradrobe and asked if I could swap the Lily for it). It’s really a beautiful bra, lives up to the mermaid name. I’ll update with more detailed pictures later. Read more 1068 more words
Thanks! Like the Lily for you, it’s a tiny bit small even not pre period on my bigger side. I’m going to see if I can get a few new pics as those ones I put up are from the night I got the package.
Looks great; nice cleavage. Do things "settle" once you wear it for a while, or do you still get bubbling after you've worn it for a while?
Wilderness1 I have not paid attention to it yet. Maybe? Dunno.
By the way, I did mark the bra as “it fits” because I knew that once my boobs weren’t so swollen from my approaching period, that it would be a better fit. Even as borderline small, I know what the next size up fit is like. The 65G is a little bit big in the cups without the cookies except close to my period and the 65FF is pretty close most of the time but it’s a bit small as my boobs swell in high tide before my period. Neither fit perfect but I think that I prefer the smaller fit over the bigger fit. Anyway, so yeah, I marked it as fits.
I do the same and mark a bra as "it fits" as long as it comes close. I have at least one cup size difference between breasts, so if it comes close to fitting on one side, it's marked as a fit.
Wilderness1- For me, my boobs don't settle in this. The bubbling seems to get worse and more noticeable throughout the day so that I'm trying to stuff my larger breast back in.
Grats, this is a lovely bra.
This looks so beautiful on you! Beautiful bra! Very lovely colors and detail. I think it looks really nice on the pictures with the T-shirt as well.
This bra is a really pleasant surprise. I bought it on a whim from Forever Yours Lingerie in the Black Friday sale (it was 60% off!) after a glass or two of prosecco. I had not read much about this style, except for a thorough review by MamaPagan who is in a different size range. I was half expecting this bra not to fit, as I have had some fit challenges with the S cut on which this style is based. However, the bra is an almost perfect fit. I am ecstatic and surprised.
The appearance of this bra is really stunning. The lace overlay is ...really delicate looking and is quite stretchy. It covers the foam lined nude cups and then extends up towards the shoulders in a high-apex shape. The nude covering of the cups is really fair and blends with my skin tone making the bra appear as if it was just made of really fine mesh lace. It is a full-coverage bra, but quite a sexy one. I think it would look great with a lower cut top or dress.
This bra came with an overlapping gore, which is majorly comfortable. The bridge of the gore has this cute tiny black bow on it and is a perfect height. The band is stretchier than the band on the S Pretty, which I have in the same size. I can comfortably wear this bra on the fourth hook (I have a 27" underbust). I may need to think about taking in the band if, and when, it stretches.
The cups on this bra are the real winner for me. They are narrow and deep - especially at the apex - and are more open on top than the S cut. There is not as much immediate projection as the M or CHP cut in this bra, but it seems comfortable enough. The straps are wide, but are workable, unlike the straps on the S Pretty.
Overall, this bra is one of the best fitting EM bras I have tried thus far. Read more 238 more words
The aesthetics of this bra are not for me. I tend to dislike to pale pink, frills, and lace-up detailing. When I showed my husband my new bra, he asked if I got the wrong item. Its safe to say that I did not choose this bra for its appearances, but I will admit the quality seems very nice, and the pink polka dots are growing on me.
I really wanted to test out the fit of an M cut in 65FF. I got a 65F M from Sonya a few months ago, I loved the cut and shape but the bra was clearly too ...small. I wanted to see if a larger size would provide a better fit (thanks martka00 for the swap!!) - and it did. I think the M cut might be EM dream bra. There were surprisingly few reviews (that I could find) on the M cut in this size range. So I will try to provide as many details as possible.
While I read on older reviews that there were significant concerns about the band size in the M cut being 2 or more sizes too small, I can say that from my experience in the M XOXO and M Magique do run about 1 band size too small. I typically wear a 28 band and prefer a firm band, so this is actually quite useful for me. The band on both bras is extremely comfortable on the last or second last hook for me. If you do need a true 30 band, you may want to size up.
The shape that this bra gives me is really lovely - top marks. It is very round, lifted and upfront. It is similar to the look that I get in the CHP cut, but slightly more natural. This bra gives a great shape under a tight t-shirt and doesn't show any visible lines. The best thing about this plunge cut is that has lots of space at the wire - the wire stays put in my IMF all day. This has not been my experience with the PL cut or the S cut. The coverage of this bra is low - for me, the lace edging is about 1/2 - 3/4 inch above my nipple - so there is a lot of skin showing. Despite the low coverage, my breasts feel very secure in this cut and do not move around. I did not have this experience in the PL cut, which felt very non-secure.
This bra is an exact perfect fit without the padding. If I add the padding, I do get some slight quadding. This bra will be perfect as long as I don't gain any more volume. To me, it seems that this cut is more generous than the PL or S, both of which are now too small in a 65FF for me. But this may be a shape issue, for reference I have quite firm, mostly self-supporting tissue, a FOT to even shape, fairly narrow root.
The wires on this bra are narrow - but not as narrow as the CHP. The wire marks the bra leaves on my body is just slightly (~2cm) outside of my breast root, but follows it quite closely. The straps also feel more narrow set than the other EM bras. I find them quite comfortable. The XOXO straps are a little wider than the ones of Magique, but this may be a size issue.
To sum everything up - if you are on the larger end of size spectrum for this cut (which goes up to a 65FF, 70F, 75E etc.,) and the PL doesn't work for you, you may want to give this cut a shot. I am going to purchase another - less pink - M cut immediately. Read more 536 more words
That is very cute and is great at shaping. Congrats!
This one looks so gooooood on you! looks as great fit!
this looks great on you!
Thanks ladies!! <3
This looks great!
Wow this is adorable!!! I should have snagged one during the sale.
Noob maybe there will be another sale soonish? A girl can dream
I think that it looks great! I’ve been waiting on this review. I’m very curious about the M myself. My tissue is the opposite of you though...soft and more even to fob. But I feel like I am in between the sizes of Pl, so this might work for me.
Calluna thank! I wonder if a 70F in the M cut would work for you? The other great thing about the M cut is that they are cheaper on EM's site - 169 ish instead of 200 or 229 pln
Calluna I have soft tissue and it works very well! Magique is my favurite padded bra now (maybe after PL Paradise) :D
I really wish that M came in my size. I don't need a lot of support and I would love the more narrow straps. It looks great on you!!
AprilGoulding maybe you can sweet talk Kaska into making you one? I don't know if it can be done
Yes, I would love to try a 70F in an M.
rachaelll , the M Xoxo shape is great on you! I'm envious. I have firm, FoT to even breasts, too, but the M cut is too low at the sides for me in 65FF, and the straps are painfully wide-set. Aside from the inadequate side containment and the much too wide straps in front, the M cut in 65FF was a decent fit. I love low cut cups.
You said in your review Ewa's Pl doesn't have enough room at the wire for you. I see in your Ewa Michalak reviews there's one Pl, a 65FF Cappucci-nowy. Did you try any others? I'm puzzled by your M cut vs Pl cut experience. I've owned a couple Pl bras in 65F, and they do have enough room at the wire for me. Our breast characteristics are similar--firm, FoT to even.
I wonder if you are perhaps functionally fuller on bottom than you thought? Ewa's product pages about the M cut, when I bought my M Syrena and M Magique, warned me to go up a cup size in this cut compared to her other cuts. In other words, though we both have firm tissue, wear similar sizes, and are FoT to even, we had opposite experiences with Ewa's M and Pl cuts.
learningaboutbras I am totally stumped. Perhaps the PL I tried was a rogue one? I've only tried one, but the fit really didn't work for me. Maybe wendybien will have the answer?
Antonina's colour is exactly what I hoped for - on me, in the dead of winter, it'll be nude.
It's a cream coloured lace over nude lining. It create a cafe au lait appearance from afar.
It is stunningly beautiful.
This bra fits to perfection. And I mean perfection. There's no room for error here. Weight must be maintained or I'll bust it. LOL All jokes aside, this is a bra that I'd be able to wear all day every day in perfect comfort, and support heaven. I wouldn't complain if it was a little bit bigger...65G BM's are coming my way from martka00 and I'm curious to compare.
Tack is perfect, band is TTS and is lace all the way around. I love that. I also like that the scalloped edge of the lace trims the band so nicely.
Projection at the wire seems better (i.e. deeper. Deeper is better for me) in this one than in Fluo.
This looks amazing. I love this lace. So glad you had a bra win
I just saw all your reviews and wow! They all look like a great fit (except that Pralinowy which is too small). I think the 65Gs I'll be sending to you will also work great and will definietly provide bit more coverage!
It looks amazing on you! I do love the color of this one as well.
That looks great on you too! The colours go well with your skin tone!
@Wilderness it's my fave of the lot for comfort, fit and sexy-everyday-ness. The Sekret is a date night kinda bra. ;)
I’m so glad that you have a success here! It’s sich a beautiful bra and the fit looks great!
This bra is the first is my order direct from EM. I was terrified that it wouldn't fit since my SM Rozmarzona 65G fits so perfectly.
But...it FITS pretty much perfectly. Tack is awesome. Band is TTS. The lace at the top of the cup is just just just barely closed enough. I suspect it will "ruffle" if I lose 1/2 a pound. Christmas is coming...won't be an issue this month LOL
It's also a half cup bra for sure - perfect for wearing under low scoop neck tops, but unlike other half cups I've tried, the way Ewa's straps are attached, they provide a little extra coverage at the side, which I really appreciate.
The lace is gorgeous and I love it!!
I'll measure it later - I wanted to post the pics because I know that some girls have been wanting to see.
I tried the sekret at one point too a while back, but it gave me a weird shape. Do you find it rough/stiff? I found the fabric a little still when I tried it.
@Wilderness it's scratchier than BM lace, for sure. But not unlike the lace in my Ellesmere bralette...which got softer after I washed it in Eucalan. I find non-stretch lace scratchier before washing but after it's perfect.
I love this bra! I missed out on Ty Wiesz which would have been my first choice but only because I think the tan would be a little more flattering then the pink. It's so sexy in a classy way. It is made to the usual Ewa standards and both the bra and the brief fit perfectly.
Pros: Super gorgeous, great quality, comfortable, low gore, spaghetti straps are fully adjustable, straps are pulled in a little because of how they're done on the back, lots of bows and sparkles, and it lays relatively flat under clothes.
Cons: Seems shallower at the wire, straps are almost a smidge too long.
After seeing 1347854 of ty wiesz recently, I feel like my one should stay with me.. it's so sexy but then.. who will look at it beside me?! It's typical bra to show off to partner. Or maybe I'm just crazy and should wear it anyway?;)
Btw, it looks great on you!
martka00 yes, wear it anyway! I think wearing an awesome (and / or sexy) bra under clothes makes me feel good (: don't wear it for a partner, wear it for you!
And gratiat it looks great 👌🏼 seems we had similar fit issues but yes overall this bra is seriously amazing!!
martka00 I think you should wear it anyway! It's a super secure bra so great for everyday. Also, at least in my case, I find that wearing bras like this makes me feel awesome about myself.
bubblegum Thanks! I hope Ewa comes out with other SMs like this.
Amazing! The pink still looks great on you. I'm jealous. I wanted the Ty Wiesz SO bad, but I also missed out :'( I will probably have to mourn the loss forever because I just don't think the Ja Wiem would look good on me.
I guess I'm going to give it a go soon :) thank you ladies for encouraging me
Such a pretty bra, very summery as the name implies. Snug band and narrow wires. Doesn't quite work as a completely nude bra on me, but still lovely. The cups are deep and more accommodating to FOT shapes than the Kusidelko, as it lacks the lace trim on the upper cups. So happy I was able to snag this one secondhand.
Purchased this set from Bra Obsessed, and as such it was a bit more expensive than buying direct from EM, but after seeing some previous reviews I couldn’t resist trying it! After receiving it, I can truly say that I think the quality, fit and design were more than well worth the price! Jaimie was also beyond kind and helpful, so I had a great experience in that regard, too.
What I love about this bra is that it manages to be both demure and sexy; on my cool-toned pale skin, the white tulle somewhat disappears, giving a lovely effect and functioning almost as a nude. The pale ...powder-pink lace and accents on the gore, straps and band are feminine and somehow fairy-esque or princess-y by association! At least, that’s the image it evokes inexplicably to me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I could see this being an especially beautiful bridal or special occasion set, but as for me it will be going right into the regular rotation! Always fun to have a unexpectedly pretty bra beneath normal casual clothes, I think.
The SM cut fits somewhat lower-coverage and provides gentle cleavage; my boobs fill the cups perfectly and take on a rounded but natural shape from the side. This bra seems to run a little larger/more projected than my Czarna Mgielka in a size up... or, maybe, the reverse is true of the Czarna! The left cup is just a hint small on my larger side, though not enough to cause any quadding or cutting in, and I generally find that my asymmetry is such that I usually have to pick between slightly snug or slightly too big, anyway. The 65G I tried was too large all over, so I’ll be listing that in the near future, should anyone want it before I send it back to Canada!
The matching thong has really pretty details, too: a small diamond of sheer mesh in the front, a slightly higher-rise back framed with pink lace, and a little satin ribbon bow. Overall, some gorgeous pieces that I’m really happy with… further solidifying my Polish obsession! Read more 248 more words
This bra is gorgeous on you! This is exactly how I would want my boobs to look in this bra. To me the profile looks ideally rounded. You're right about its ethereal, otherworldly, fairy princess look. What a perfect bra and fit!
Aww, thank you so much, what a sweet comment! It's a new EM favorite for sure.
This is so gorgeous on you! Is it lower cut than other S cuts? I wish I had the skin to pull this design off! :)
Oh thank you! Hmm, I would say that it's about a similar coverage level as the S cuts I own (Kamea and Pralinka) in a cup size larger. Subtle cleavage, but still feels very secure with a well-tacking gore. I recently tried a 65FF CHP Marcepanowa Magnolia, and have to say that that one was so low coverage to the point that it felt constantly precarious! I actually imagine this bra would be even more striking on someone with a tanner complexion, the contrast would pop really beautifully!
I think it's safe to say, I've found my holy grail of bras! I've found my brand! I've found my style! I've found...the one! The S styled bras fit dead on for me! So full of win!
This bra is a fabulous nude bra and I plan to purchase another just like it. It lifts and keeps my bust front and center while giving fantastic cleavage. The fabric overlay on the cup is delicate (much like pantyhose) and can easily snag on rough fabric, so beware. The straps are smooth and fully adjustable. The cup encases my breasts without any irritation near the armpit area where the strap meets ...the cup. The wires are nice and narrow. I found this band smaller than my other 65 band sized bras from EM. This is not an issue for me since most my EM's in 65 start off on the tightest hooks (I hate special ordering). There are three columns and two rows of bra hooks on the backband. The band is not too stretchy or too firm, and feels oh so heavenly. There's a cute satin bow with a pearl accent on the center gore. All pictures were taken without the cookies.
Ok, so I just have to ask . . . you dont fall out the center of it at all? I wouldnt be able to stay in that at all. I guess you probably have firmer boobs than I do?
I don't want to be a party pooper, and I would never tell someone not to wear any bra they loved if it makes them happy, but I think technically you need the next cup size. This is definitely intended as a low cut style but not THAT low cut. With very firm boobs (young/dense tissue, or augmented folks) you often don't quad or spill in the obvious way the way softer-tissued ladies do, but you still need support, and a too-small cup that does not contain as much of the breast as the designer intended will not provide that support.
dbmamaz The gore on the S bra in her size is quite lower than in our size range. You can't really compare how hers fits to one in your size.
Can you pretty please post the bra's measurements? Thanks!
Yes, you can get excellent containment even with a superlow gore--however the cups do have to cup enough of the boob volume to keep the girls stable.
A true half (demi) cup achieves this by coming up a liiiittle bit higher in the middle, but being extremely low cut all along the top. Plunges can be extremely low in the middle but achieve good containment by going up a little higher along the outer quadrant.
wendybien The OP never mentioned her boobs not feeling stable or supported. If she's happy with the fit, that's all that's important. Her review was very happy and optimistic about this bra.
BumbleBean People very, very frequently post happy and optimistic reviews only to be disappointed later on because they took off the tags, but later realized that the fit wasn't good after all. I regularly go through the ordeal of ordering bras from overseas as well and if I posted pics of something that had a potential fit issue I didn't realize, I would most certainly appreciate other users politely pointing that out!
I don't poke round looking for reviews to respond to, but this was posted to the community as an adventure, so I assumed that OP would consider it useful info to take on board as she sees fit. She is clearly an adult who can make her own choices and decide for herself if in fact she wants to keep a bra or whether she wants to try a larger cup.
I am not criticizing her or her choices or anything personal, just responding to a bra adventure in a manner that is intended to be helpful. This is, after all, a bra fitting site, not a purely social forum where the only appropriate response to "I got this thing to wear and I'm excited" is "you look lovely, yay!"
Do you feel like this one runs any smaller than your other EMs that are the same size? I've ordered this in my usual 70FF and am worried it might run a little small.
I just got this in my normal EM size of a 65f and it's too small for me...very minimal coverage. Can you please add measurements since this would be my preferred size in the bra? Thanks :)
My EM BM perla I thought was a great fit when I got it, but I do fall out of it. And the gore is only a half inch shorter than my floris? Is that right?
But its comfortable, so I still wear it sometimes. But i've learned I cant actually wear it under low-cut tops, because then when I'm falling out the bra, I'm also falling out of the shirt . . and i'm way too old for that! But i'm very, very soft.
I think it is reasonable to keep your EM perla, dbmamaz .It's definitely possible to wear something that fits less securely than the designer intended--most people can make it work, wearing it for short periods of time or on occasions they won't be doing anything more active than sitting around. But obviously that does make the bra less versatile and you're limited in how much wear you can get out of it. I had a couple lower balconnets that fit like that (sort of fit, but lacked stability and coverage) when I first got them and I was definitely bummed that I could not wear them all day with a low cut shirt or for an evening event where I'd have to move around normally, carry my 2 year old and so on. If I had a semi-active day my boobs just climbed out and then I had quadding bad enough that you could see it through my clothes. Now that my boobs have shrunk those bras actually are my best fit but it's certainly true that if I'd stayed the same size, I just wouldn't have gotten as much use out of them.
dbmamaz I actually don't fall out of the middle at all. I feel contained without having any overflow.
wendybien I think the lighting sometimes makes them look way rounder than in person. In this bra I actually have a ever so slight space along the edge of the cup. I have an EM Toffic plunge bra that is in a 65G and is too big in the cup for me. I think if I size up I'll have an even larger gap and the armpit area would be uncomfortable. And I totally agree with you on needing support. Us augmented ladies need the support as well since nothing's worse than a bottomed out implant.
CurvyCandy in comparison to my other EMs, mainly my SM Wróżka, the cup covers the same, but the band fits smaller. I find with EM bras it's a crap-shoot as to how tight of a band you get.
*currently working on getting the measurements up along with a few other pics. For reference my nipple sits just under where the three part cup converges in the center.
I was wondering if you are wearing the assymetry pads that came with the bra in the pictures? I find that with the pads in I am getting quite a bit of quad boob. I am contemplating getting the 65ff.
disneymom I actually didn't have any in when I took these pictures.
Thanks for replying! It helps so much and gives me hope that a 65ff would be a better choice for me :)
Happy2BraShop, can you comment at all about the seams on this bra? Are they visible under t-shirts? I have several of the Ewa Michalak S Porcelanka (369) bras, which I love, but the seams show up too much for my liking under solid light colored t-shirts. I'm curious if the S Orzechowa Pralinka is any better...
pinkwonder They do show up ever so slightly. The thinner the shirt, the more it shows. I usually wear a thin flesh colored cotton tank (cheap ones from forever21 or similar clothing store) under to better disguise the seams. But this one isn't quite as bad as some of the other pieced cup bras I've had.
I LOVED this bra! It's so beautiful and the hearts on the band are nice details.
For me the height is the best part of the CHP. Yeah, it doesn't tack but I had a boob shelf!
Oh I love that bra!!!!!
Yes, it is SO unique!!! I want this bra!!!
OK thx :) you entered it here as 60FF ;)
Oh, yes, I see that now. I'll see if i can change it :)
Jag ÄLSKAR "Lingerie och Literature!" I'm catching up on all of your posts that I missed now. Your recent trend of putting all the English at the bottom instead of throughout is actually forcing me to try to read and practice the Swedish because the English is harder to access (which is good for me lol)... And that sums up my life on how bras help me learn languages.
Tack, jag blir så glad när någon berättar att hen (sorry, new word, gender neutral of he/she) gillar min blogg! I've acctually quite recently started to put the english between the pictures just like the swedish text, because i thought it might be easier for the international readers to follow when I refer to the pictures. Maybe you can read the swedish and check that your translation matches up? Maybe I should start writing the complete translations because sometimes I leave things out (especially cultural references)? Anyway, I'm happy to be able to help you with your language learning :) You're acctually the second person to tell me that they use my blog that way, lol :D
Material: The lace IS very thin, but not in a flimsy way. The pattern is not as garish as I was expecting; it's actually quite pretty. It's slightly itchy, and I can see the lace through a thick-ish tshirt. The seams are less apparent than my nipples through the shirt, so it's more the texture that shows through. The top edge of the cup is a little looser than on the Milosc because there's no ribbon, and that flares out a bit on me. I don't know what this means.
Straps and Band: The straps are a little narrower than I'm used to, but not as narrow as the ...Koralik. The band is stretchy, almost as much as a Panache bra, and for that I'm not too happy. In order to get the band as tight as I'd like, I need to use the middle hook. Ideally, I'd like the straps to be closer together, but I'm petite with narrow-ish shoulders.
Fit:The cup width is perfect, at least in the 65FF. This was the first bra I put on, and was thunderstruck that I happened to grab the one that fit me best. It's possible that the cups are a little further apart than I'd like, because I had to adjust my breasts outwards when I first put it on.
Shape: It gave me a perfect rounded shape, and my boyfriend was very appreciative. I don't feel like I have a bra on, which either means it fits really well, or it doesn't strap me in as much as the Deco I just took off does. I'm wearing it around the house today to decide. Read more 164 more words
Is there really that much difference in the band in this bra between the 65FF and 65G? You have written in the stretched amount as 2" higher in the FF. I'm thinking of ordering from them but no one has reviewed 26 or 28's, yet their calculator suggests me a 30 (65), but they seem to be the same size as a lot of 28's. Is their sizing really that inconsistant?
I'm not the reviewer but to chime in about the sizing, I've heard that this style as well as the Onyks is looser in the band.
Honestly, I had someone else hold this band so I could measure, while I did the G on my own. So there is some user error there in the measurements. However, the FF absolutely *is* more stretchy. I would have been happy to keep the FF if it had a band like the G, which was almost as firm as the Miloscs.
I did try to ask EM whether this was a fluke, and they didn't answer my question directly. They just said that differences in band could come from cup size. (Though, that doesn't quite apply here, as too-small cups can lead to the band feeling tighter, and too-big can make them feel looser.)
I don’t have time for a detailed review but since this is a new cut from Ewa I figured I’d write a few words! This cut is very similar to PL with a lower gore. It runs slightly bigger in the cup (the cookies are just a hint bigger than the cookies for PLs) and slightly wider in the wire. I have short roots and will be repurchasing in a cup size down because the cups are slightly too big here. 65FF is the size I wear in Ewa’s padded cuts but it seems I need a 65F in PLP. A friend with tall roots purchased her usual size in PLP and it fit her perfectly, so I would only size down a cup if you have short roots and/or are FOB.
I absolutely adore this rosy nude and I think the center gore charm is just gore-geous. I plan to buy the matching briefs because I’m in love with the fabric. I’m happy to answer any questions about this new cut to the best of my ability!
It's gorgeous! Does this shade appear antique champagne or more like a pale rose gold? How interesting about the pl comparison, I'd think that this one would retain the same wire width and just raise the wings enough to help with the side control effect plp seems to have. I really want to risk it as the current colorways are so pretty but am unsure how this compares to plm which was so close! but then cut right into my tall roots at the center. Short fob struggles unite.

Holly_By_Golly I would describe it as a dark rosy nude, the sheen isn’t as apparent in person.
I got this bra along with 65G - Ewa Michalak » Chp Antonina from Bella Rosa Lingerie on Instagram, based in the UK. I lost track of my UK size because I almost exclusively wear Polish now, but I guess I'm a 28FF. My shape is projected, full on top and centre, with tall and narrow roots, soft and self-supporting tissue, and super close-set.
Like the CHP Antonina, the band only feels snug on the tightest hooks, which makes me doubt if EM bands are not as tight as they were now. I have a 65G - Ewa Michalak » Bm Lulu (1596)...that fit but tried an 65G - Ewa Michalak » Bm Apricot (1059) that was too big, so I guessed the Lulu runs small and my true BM size would be 65FF. It turns out my guess it pretty accurate - the narrow and deep cups fit me pretty perfectly. The bottom of the cups is made of white sturdy mesh and the top of stretchy mesh, overlaid with elegant light pink lace. It looks pinker worn than placed on my darker pink bed sheets. My stats: 26GG/H according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, firm tissue, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and functionally high set.
The look: This design is so flipping cute! Thanks jlcl119! The fabric a light pink color with tiny polka dots all over it. The gore is lace up and you can adjust the lower gore width. It sits up slightly higher at the lower gore than other ewas. The cups have pink ruffles with black piping along the upper edge, this surprisingly doesn't show through most shirts. The band is the same fabric as the cups and it's trimmed with black ...elastic. All hardware is black, the cups and band are connexted to the straps wuth black rings at the front and back, all hardware is black and it has a 2x4 closure.
The fit: This cut fits so well! It's scaled with smaller frames in mind, while I don't have a particularly small frame or bust, I appreciate the scaling. The gore is nice and low, the straps actually sit *almost* where they should which is quite the feat for ewa, the cup height is low which goves this a very va-va-voom effect. The cups are borderline too small for me so I get crazy cleavage but I'm ok with it because all other aspects are perfect. I would fibd a perfect fit in a 65G M but alas ewa refuses to make one. The band fits like a 55 or 60, the cups are narrow and projected and the gore is so low and comfortable that this is literally my chill bra that I wear under sweats for lazy sundays.
