My stats: 26GG/H according to the ABTF calculator, slightly FOT, firm tissue, tall and narrow roots, center full, close set and functionally high set.
The look: As WildWolff and Happy2BraShop have said, antonina is the most gorgeous lace ewa has right now. The shimmery champagne details throughout the white is so much prettier in person and any description or picture just can't do it justice. All I can say is it's flattering on all skin tones and undertones somehow and is really just magic. The straps and gore have white bows with rhinestone charms, the band is all lace and all hardware is ...white.
The fit: This fits so well! The straps are narrower than in 65G so they are functionally closer set and hurt less, the cup height is lower and the gore height is dramatically lower. Overall 65FF is scaled more for petite women vs 65G. The band and cups are super stretchy though and this firt me at the same time a 60H BM fit me, so this lace can be pushed far. The band has always been loose on me though. The gore is just low enough not to hurt me, the wires are just the right width and the starps aren't all that bad. The overall projection and immediate projection are both perfect for me.

My UK size is about 28G and my shape is projected, FOT, narrow and tall roots, super close-set, soft and self-supporting. Unlined half-cup bras are great for my projection and top fullness. However my recent failure with them has led me to doubt my shape! I got this beautiful but sadly discontinued bra from r/braswap on Reddit. Ewa doesn't seem to make HM bras anymore.
The band fits closer to a 30, which is a little unusual in EM bras. The cups are made of sturdy mesh which gives great support and also with super pretty embroidery. They are very narrow and deep, and quite open on top. I'm ...not sure if I'm having wrinkles along the top of the bra because it's a cup size too big, it's too open, or too tall. The gore is higher than any bra I've ever tried, making it a true half-cup, but it isn't uncomfortable even on my super close-set boobs (or maybe I just haven't worn it long enough?) The wings could be higher and straps thicker to give more stability.
This is such a pretty bra and it's a shame it doesn't fit! Read more 83 more words
Bummer! It really is such a pretty bra. This has always been one on my wish list. But I’d have better luck finding a unicorn than one of these in my size. So sorry it doesn’t fit. I wish she made more bras like this again. Especially with the pretty embroidered lace.
The HM combo of dart at lower gore, and superdepth combine in a hard-to-fit for most fob + fot. It feels like this one was for all the superfull but functionally less projected types who won't be fighting against the flattening in the center of cup the cut brings. I hate hate HATE the straps on this out of all the EM's i've tried over the years. Finally made my Hm racerback and it works great.
Such a lovely bra. If the height of the wings and straps are not a deal breaker, I would consider putting a dart at the gore behind the bow for each cup to collect the excess fabric. This would smooth out the wrinkles and potentially bring in the straps closer to the midline to provide more support. Just a few stitches...
OMG, that might be the prettiest bra I've ever seen. That embroidery has the aesthetic of fairies in an enchanted forest. Really too bad it isn't a fit!
I'm seriously considering to alter the cups because the bra is sooo pretty. But then the band is a little too loose for me (I usually wear a 28) that it fits best in the second tightest set of hooks (out of 4). Might need a few stitches in the band too if I were to keep the bra.
Thanks so much Sonya for this super cute bra! It fits well besides the gore not quite tacking (by like a quarter of an inch), which I don't really understand since I'm fairly wide-set and fastening the band tighter doesn't help, but it's not an issue for me. Maybe it has to do with the unique style of the gore, which is actually a set of laces that you can tie tighter to narrow it (and get a little more of the PL cleavage effect) or leave looser. It's hard to retie since the laces are so short, but I think it's such a cute ...detail! I keep buying 65FF and 60G Ewa bras because I do think I'd get spillage on my bigger side in a 60FF, but they're always just a hint big, so the PL effect doesn't really come through. 65FF M cuts are my perfect fit because the bands on those are like a 27 band, but every other cut tends to give me slight sizing issues. Oh well... This bra is equally as comfortable as my 60G PL Misty, which is to say it's not quite as comfortable as my M or CHP cuts (the sides dig in a little), but definitely not uncomfortable. I'm so glad I got to try a bra in this cute pattern! Read more 115 more words
This bra has been on my radar for I don’t know how long, but I was always nervous about what size I needed. AGBras had it listed and included it for me to try along with the Gorsenia Simena with option to return or buy. I will spoil this review by saying that I’m buying it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
This is one of the unpadded half cups and is made from non-stretch lace. I know that some people have found the lace to be stiff and/or itchy, but I don’t feel that at all! It’s soft and light to me. It’s a ...little bit of an unusual lace pattern. The upper portion is a flower pattern and it is a lot more open and sheer than the lower portion, however is is all the same piece of lace - no horizontal seams to divide the two lace textures. There’s one vertical seam in the center of the bra, and a triangular piece of mesh at the the apex. At the center gore is a hot pink satin bow with black polka dots. The center gore and band are both black mesh and at the strap connector on each side is a small black satin bow.
The fit of this bra is actually really good on me. It’s lightweight and gives me a great shape. It’s got a few flaws that can be slightly overlooked - the forest instead of the trees. You know?
The first is the center gore - I find that it is a little bit too wide for me at the bottom and is a little bit too splayed for me. This *is* my unsupported shape, but usually in a bra it’s less pronounced and I’m closer set. In my natural shape, I am a bit east west, so in this bra, I’m not quite as forward facing as I would like to be. I do also wish the gore was not quite so tall. But it’s the nature of this cut and it’s not terribly bothersome. The second is the classic wide straps. I mean, I am kinda used to them by now but I wish they were closer together by like a cm or two.
The band is quite comfortable on the loosest hooks and I expect a long life before it gets too loose - I’ll probably change before I wear it out. Lol. The lift of the bra, especially the immediate projection is just fantastic. No wrinkles at the wire; no shifting snowbird wires. Wires are an acceptable width for my narrow-ish boobs - little bit narrower would be better for me. And as I said before, it’s a very light lace, so the cups, bra, lift, etc make this a very comfortable lightweight bra. One thing that I really appreciate about this bra is that it is a short cup. As someone who has soft tissue that’s even-ish and taller but shallow roots, I become functionally short rooted and slightly more full on bottom. Most half cups give me a fabulous shape, but I find that the top of the cups gap because they’re too tall. This one is perfectly low and does not have that problem even though it’s a quite open edge (which is probably because of the height). Yay!!!
All in all, this is a sexy AF bra that’s comfortable for daily wear or a special date night. It seems to mostly suit my pudding boobs. Read more 473 more words
This is my first EM bra, sent to me by VioletIridescence. It's a beautiful, well-made bra, with a gorgeous burgundy color and nice lace detailing. Unfortunately, I underestimated how much weight I'd lost and overestimated my size, and it's about 1 or 2 cup sizes too big for me. I fill out the bottom of the cup nicely, as it has enough immediate projection for my short-rooted, even to FoB breasts, and the wires were a good width for my narrow roots. However, the tops of the cups were very empty, though seemed to generally follow the slope of my breast, indicating to me that ...it was more of a size issue than a shape issue. I don't think I know enough about shapes yet to draw any conclusion about what shapes this bra would work for.
This was also pretty tight for a 65/30 band, stretching to only about 28 inches. My snug underbust measures 27.5 inches, and I had to use an extender on the tightest hook (basically add 1 row of hooks) for it to feel comfortable. It's definitely closer to a 28 band in my opinion.
I'll be passing this bra along but my EM bra journey continues. Read more 96 more words
Sorry it didn't work out for you. It is a beautiful bra though!
It's a gorgeous bra, too bad about the fit. HM requires a lot of upper fullness, I'd venture to say with shorter roots, because it's a style that is very open at the top.
So, after a long long debate, I sent Sonya both of the bras she sent me to try, with the option to buy. I had the hardest time with the 30G (65HH) Comexim Jade, because I loved the colour and look, and the fit was almost perfect. In the end, I opted to try a Comexim with alterations because I felt like the cups were too tall. And I’d hoped for something that I didn’t need to use an extender for. I spotted this one in her profile. I felt like it might be a better option since it kind of has a similar aesthetic ...to the Jade. So, since I like the fit and comfort of my 65FF PL Zlote Oko so much, and the measurements are close, I just knew I would be more comfortable and happier with it. I bought this when I sent her bras back and included my Cleo Lily for swap for her 65FF S Syrena.
So I said that it’s similar to the Jade. It is and it is not. It’s a solid cup with black lace over top. The base of the cups are a matte red instead of vibrant satiny green, the straps have a bit of red ribbon weaving through (which makes them not fully adjustable, which is not a problem for me), and a lower gore with a rounded ribbony jewel thing. The cups have cookie pockets and are lined with cotton. The cups themselves are softer and more flexible than the Jade/Comexim plunge and a tad shorter too, which is a weensy bit too tall for me still, but more manageable than the standard Comexim plunge height. The band stretches nicely to 29.5” whereas the Jade was a wee bit shy of 29” (which is my lowest comfortable stretched band measurement) and needed a set of hooks from an extender for long term comfort wear. To be honest, I miss the vibrant green from the Jade. The red of the Milady is nice but just isn’t the same.
The cups of this one feel like they’re a little bit smaller than the Zlote Oko. Measurements wise, they should not, but I have worn cookies with the Zlote Oko before, but I don’t think I can with this one. My center full tissue definitely spills more just before my period, which is when I took my pictures, but not as much afterwards. I might try to get some additional low tide pics in as well. The fit is pretty much like the Zlote Oko, but the band is less stretched out. I’m still unsure if I like the overall appearance on me or not. From a comfort level, it’s definitely more comfortable than the Jade, since the cups are lower and not in my armpit so much, and cups are lighter and squishier. The immediate projection is a bit more as well. I feel like it’s even more comfortable than the S bras I have, though my old 70E S Szykus was comfortable, so I might just need a 70 in the S cuts instead of 65.
Anyway, I’m still pretty happy with this, and patiently await the arrival of another 65FF PL coming from Korea. I definitely like the comfort and fit of the PL even if it might not ideally be best suited for soft, center full tissue. I definitely feel like it’s good for my even to fob pendulous breasts. This looks beautiful on you! I'm glad it's comfy too.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Looks beautiful on you!! Suits your petite frame very nicely :) Gorgeous colours, too.
I think this looks beautiful on you! The colour looks great on your skin tone and you're getting a great shape with and without a top on.
Thanks for the feedback. I have been a bit unsure about this one, visually. I think that I have been comparing it with the Jade too much and not quite seeing it as it is and what it is.
This looks lovely! I love the colour combo
Thanks. I’m feeling better about it now.
I have added a few more pictures of the bra today. It’s still daylight and I am off of work now and was wearing the bra all day. A few of the pictures are a little artsy. 😂
Lovely bra and great fit! Looks wonderful on you. Love all the pics too. 🙂
I'm overjoyed by the fit of this bra! I have intensely admired the Famme Fatale for awhile, along with many other beautiful Ewa designs discontinued before I even became aware of correct bra fitting, but which continue to haunt my bra-obsessed dreams nevertheless https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> So, this was an awesome find, as I totally never expected to come across it!
I have to say, it's even better than I imagined. Appearance-wise, it is such a gorgeously feminine design with the corset-esque ties, ribbon-stiched straps, romantic black lace and satin bow. Totally my idea of something sexy and pretty but still chic and tasteful! ...As completely ridiculous as it sounds, it almost makes me emotional, because back in the days when I wore ugly, ill-fitting 36D Kohl's minimizers because I didn't know any better and felt super embarrassed of my chest, I never dreamed that bras like this could come in my size! Now that I've found the glorious world of Polish lingerie, I'll never be going back https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The fit is also pretty great: the wires follow my IMF perfectly, the gore tacks, and the band is decently firm. As compared to my CHP Klaudyna, this one seems just ever so slightly more open on top, which I think is better for my shape. It gives a more subtle cakes on a plate cleavage, versus the more obvious, deep Y-shape cleavage the PL shape gives. Both types have their respective advantages, but the CHP just seems more practical for lower, square-cut necklines and gives a perfect, basket-ball round profile I can only otherwise achieve in Cleo Marcie! I have a feeling this one will be receiving lots of wear... I think it might be my new favorite!

I've loved the Summer Time ever since I first laid eyes on it, but I missed out on the lovely unlined style. I also missed out the first time Jaimie from Bra Obsessed was offering a limited run, and when she offered it one more time, I knew that it was no coincidence and I needed to get on it. I ordered this originally in an S style but Jaimie was totally cool when I changed my mind at the last minute and luckily had this last CHP in stock. Yay. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm so glad I finally jumped on it. There are a few loose ...threads, but nothing major. The band doesn't have the checked fabric on it like other models did and the bow is different. The band is so silky soft and strong feeling and just luxurious. Band stretches to about 29.5 and is very comfy. The straps are a little stretchy and difficult to adjust but I'm glad they're a little thinner than my other CHP in the same size. This is the first CHP style with pads, and they're SO difficult to put it/take out. Not sure why the hole for them has to be on the inside and smaller than they are. That's my biggest complaint. It fits fine with the pads, the right, more difficult side, gaps a little without them but it's still wearable. The width is perfect and the wires aren't too long and don't poke. The wings don't peak out from lower cut shirts. Very nice immediate projection and a lovely shape. The lace is only attached to the cups at the seams and I can poke my finger between the lace and foam. The lace does show under tighter shirts but it's so pretty I don't mind. The colour is a nice complement to my olive skin and it almost looks like there's no foam at all.The shape is, as expected, very round, uplifted and perfect. I ordered the thong in a 40 but received the brief instead. I emailed Jaimie about it but the brief is very soft, pretty and true to size. I accidentally ordered a size too big but it runs tight I'd say. All in all, I love this bra sooo much and I'm so glad I finally got the chance to own a Summer Time. I'd still love to try the unlined style if I can ever get my hands on one.
Edit: I wore this bra out. I was so wrong. I don't know if it's my period or what but the wings/wires harass my poor armpits. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Nothing too major, just enough to be a little irritating. Won't stop me from wearing it though.
Edit: No further problems. No more armpit harassment, I assume it's from my period but since it hasn't happened since I'm not sure. Also, Jaimie has agreed to send me the thong and let me keep the brief since it was her mistake: she wrote down figi instead of stringi. I offered to send it back but she was very gracious and said that was not necessary. This is why I like working with Jaimie because her customer service is exemplary. Read more 431 more words
That looks great on you! Thanks for the detailed review. I just ordered one from Jaimie as well :). Thanks for posting the shirt pic--I've decided to start doing that as well, because I realized how a bra looks under clothes is one of the most important things to me. I normally wouldn't get a bra with lace that shows through, but like you, decided to make an exception because the summertime looks so beautiful. Enjoy!
Thanks! I hope yours fits. This bra is so beautiful. I'm glad I took the risk on it. The only thing I have to say, and I'll edit my review when I have the time, is that the straps are wide-set and attack my armpits. Totally worth it though.
I'll be honest: I have no idea what the difference is between the CH and the CHP cuts. I googled it and I can tell something is different between the two I just can't put my fingers on it. I got it off of reddit I believe and it is in great condition. I was wary about how boring I thought it would be since it's "just a nude" but wow-Ewa has a way with bras. It's quite pretty in real life but not too distracting or decorated to not work under a lighter shirt. I love the buttons instead of bows. I can't figure out the ...wrinkles in the cup because I fill it pretty much perfectly. The immediate projection is pretty spot on for me as are the wires. The band is still comfortable snug and the straps are nice and thick and comfy. I get some amazing cleavage out of this, especially with the pads in. I have tall roots, so I almost never get cakes on a plate in a well fitting bra. The gore is low and non-stabby. The cups are nice and low cut as are the wings. No armpit harassment there. The shape is kind of wide from the front, projected from the side and very round. It's a very comfortable bra and pretty much disappears under my clothes. It's a perfect fit, perfect shape, and perfect nude. What more could I ask for? Read more 134 more words
CH is a projected (boobs out front) half cup, and HP is a (now discontinued) half cup that brought boobs closer to the chest. The CHP is a hybrid of the CH and HP styles. The HP has been discontinued for a few years since the release of the CHP.
BumbleBean That makes complete sense. I was surprised by the amount of forward projection.
So pretty for a "basic" and it looks great on you! :)
I've wanted this *exact* bra for ages now. I have the CHP style and I love it, but I had no idea I'd get a chance to have this one! I almost missed out. I'm glad I didn't, but this bra isn't as perfect as I had hoped. Aesthetically, it's gorgeous. I love the embroidery and the sheer cups with the crosshatch fabric. This bra is missing two bows on the straps so maybe if I motivate myself I'll replace them. It's second hand, worn but in pretty decent condition. The band is a smidge loose on me. It stretches to 30.5 and I prefer a snugger 29ish ...measurement but 30.5 isn't bad for pre-owned. I could hook it on the 2nd row but it's not that bad. Band is nice and supportive. The cups aren't too wide and fit my roots as perfectly as a bra will. I fill the cups almost perfectly with just a little sticking up of the embroidery on top. No biggy, it's not noticeable under clothes and it lays flat most of the time. The gore is very narrow-the wires overlap-and is a firm tack. The shape is so lovely: uplifted with a nice peak but not pointy. This would be my all time favourite bra ever if not for the stupid straps. They are ridiculously thin-less than half an inch wide- and stretchy. I have to have them as short as possible for them to work. Because of how thin and stretchy they are they tend to dig in and flip over and just be obnoxious. However, it's totally worth it for this bra. I've wanted it for so long, I'm not going to let some flimsy straps defeat me. Overall, this might be my new favourite summer bra. Read more 188 more words
This bra took way too long to get to me, and as it turns out, the seller lived just a city over from where I normally reside! I probably would have gotten it last Monday if I wasn't at school. This bra isn't my favourite aesthetics wise-I would like it better without the lace. However, it's a CHP, cheap, and my size. At first I thought this bra felt cheap because of the materials on the cups and the thinness of the foam but the more I touch the fabric it feels more silky than slippery and the thinner foam still gives the same great support the Stalowka ...does with its heavy duty foam. Aside from the lace, this bra can do no wrong. The shape, to quote Josh from Drake and Josh is "spherical. SPHERICAL!" That was literally the first thing I thought of when I put it on. The straps are nice and plush, although others might think they're too wide-they are. Wires follow my root as perfectly as I'll get and don't harass my armpits and they touch at the very top.. The coverage is nice and low, providing me with some absolutely lovely cleavage. The band is firm: this is one thing I noticed that has remained constant in both my CHPs. Size up a band if you're closer to a true 30 than a 29 or 28. I'm going to wear this with an extender until I break it in. There are pockets for pads, but the seller didn't include any which is fine because the cups would have been too small. Another small gripe is the bow at the front is a little wonky and sometimes pokes up out of my lower cut shirt. I also figured out that those bulges are probably my tail of Spence and they don't really belong in the cup, not that they stay when I scoop them in. All in all a great bra at a great price, and unless someone has a CHP in a 65FF for trade and covets this one, I'll keep it. Read more 240 more words
it fits great! I think that the EM are really your best fitting bras!
I think so too. Shame about the issues with customer service so if I can (ie if she has the style I want), I'm choosing to go through Jaime at Bra Obsessed. I have no problem ordering directly from EM's site but why take a risk of having to deal with a prickly pear when I could help support a small, woman owned business.
Beautiful fit on you!
Thanks LadyInBlue ! I'm so glad to finally figure out what works for me.
That bra looks amazing on you, it fits really well! I love the colour and design on it.
Oh I so badly wish the seller would have sent the one I bought in 65GG! It looks so summer-y!
DDandBeyond It is! And the way it was created it has lighter/thinner foam so I doubt it will feel as unbearable in warmer weather as some of my thicker padded EMs do.
This is a 5 year old bra that I got second hand from Reddit. And honestly? The only signs of wear are in the little elasticized trim on the bottom of the bra band (some elastic threads sticking out) and some pilling/wear on the lace. It's in very nice condition for it's age and the price I paid. It's a very hefty feeling bra and very pretty, although the outside fabric wrinkles a bit even when I wear it. The band is very snug, and seeing how it's my second snug bra I might break down and get an extender. If anyone gets a chance to own this ...bra, I'd say it runs a size small in the band. The straps are very thick and only half adjustable. However, they're very plush and actually the first half adjustable straps that aren't too long even when fully shortened. They're a little wide but still comfortable. The wires are a little wide but low so they don't pose a problem. The gore is flat and doesn't poke. The cups are nice and deep and contain my tissue perfectly. The shape is nice and rounded. The immediate depth is adequate. I received the matching brief too which fit very nice despite being a size smaller than I would have chosen for myself. I am very happy with my purchase and expect to get a lot of wear out of this bra, and I'm glad I got a chance to practice my love of Ewa without making my wallet cry. Read more 148 more words

Wow i am really loving the colour. It looks so good on you and looks to fit you perfectly.. Very happy for you finding a great bra
I honestly have no idea how much this bra was used. I would think fair to not that much considering it's condition. I took a gamble with it because the photos weren't very clear and the listing was short. It definitely payed off. Something about the cut of it doesn't quite work for me and I haven't figured it out. I think the plunge isn't as compatible with me as the CHP or the S style is but it is still a very good option and a very nice bra to have.
The long awaited Cherry. Underwhelming, but I'm keeping it around as a project. Runs tall and open, meaning everyone who's not FOT could probably size down one and be okay. Narrow wires, wide set straps, typical Ewa. Awful, awful, awful shoulder straps. Truly terrible. However, it's the most projected bra in the history of ever. If you need projection, step right up - there's enough projection for everyone.
Wow, that projection tho!! I would be all over this if you didn't say it ran tall, cuz Ewa half cups always gape on top for me x_x
You could probably size down!
Hope there are several more CHs coming with .6" straps. The projection would make my breasts sing ;-)
Where are you located? I was able to buy return label for $8 on PayPal, which is significantly less than purchasing on USPS or at the post office.
Noob My PayPal account won't send international any way but Priority which is $15+. It will send a bubble mailer First Class for a great rate, but even a small box is $$. How did you configure your shipment? Thanks!
I did send it as First Class Large Letter in a small box, since Ewa requires you send padded bras back in a box. The one that was sent to me was really large since it contained 4 bras, but I just cut it down and made it as small as I could for the bra. It was about 7 oz with the bra.
Noob I've been afraid to select Large Letter when I'm sending a small box; fearing it will arrive "postage due." Have you had any induxatiobs that USPS protested the designation? Exciting....it will help so much with international shipping!
I've shipped this way internationally only 3-4 times, so I'm not sure if there would be problems or not in all cases. But I've never had any problems. I believe bubble mailer is also considered package though.
I can confirm I've shipped "first class international envelope" in a package and I didn't get arrested by the mail police or anything.
I'm in the US and I've sent stuff first class international via PayPal before too. It's cost me as little as $5 and as much as $14 depending on the location. In the end, I kept the bra more so because of the projection than the cost of return shipping.
I ordered this bra directly from Ewa Michalak, and it didn't take as long to ship as they said it would, def not a month! But it is always worth the wait from EM! This bra is SO MUCH prettier in person, and the bright red (almost pink) color is so vibrant, and the Navy Blue trim stands out much more, and doesn't look as black as it does in photos. Overall, I think it fits ok, but I feel like I can get a much better fit if I could just figure out my size in Polish bras!
I normally wear a 28G (sometimes 28FF depending), and ...figured the sister size to that, 30FF (65FF), would work just as well. And I was honestly too scared to order a band size down and do a 60 cuz I was worried it would be too tight. But the band on this is very stretchy. Straight out of the box, the band measured 21" (I thought perfect) BUT stretched to about 31"! I was pretty shocked, I thought it would be much tighter. Needless to say, with my 26/27" underbust I had to immediately hook it on the tightest setting. But so far it seems to be doing the trick, it hasn't started to ride up my back yet. It feels pretty secure and snug. The straps are somewhat thin and placed a bit too far out but it's not completely bothersome. I did have a bit of a hard time adjusting the straps to make them tighter. The gore tacks perfectly and is quite comfy for my close-set boobs (almost always a problem with taller gores or anything that isn't a plunge style). The cups come up just high enough to cover my nipples, and I could prob order a size up in the cup but they're so open on top I was worried they would gape. I'm not too crazy about the material of the cup, it's like a crunchy, crinkly foam. But they look nice so I might just have to break it in.
But I would recommend not just this bra but Ewa Michalak in general! Something about her bras, even when it isn't a perfect fit, that makes the girls look awesome! Great lift, decent cleavage AND super comfy!! Read more 276 more words
That bra looks fantastic on you. I am the same underbust as you, but about an inch smaller overbust. So, I have kind of been stalking you :) I just ordered my first EW bra as well and had exactly the same hesitation you had regarding band size. What do you make of their online size calculator?
Aw thank you. Lol! I tried their online size calculator and it was WAY off, put me at a 65E! That would be entirely too small, I don't understand how they calculate it. But I just went with my UK equivalent (or sister size actually). I normally wear a 28G but was worried the 60 band would be too tight so I ordered the 30FF (65FF) and the cups seem to fit nicely but the band is super stretchy on this!!
Well, I am new to all of this and I am finding your reviews and comments extremely helpful. So I thank you for that! It is amazing to realize I haven't had a well fitting bra in my thirty years of wearing bras!! But hey, better late than never :)
Seriously, thanks for your thoughtful and thorough reviews. It really helps a newbie like me!!
Aw you're welcome. I'm pretty new to all this myself! And just recently discovered my TRUE size. Thanks to this site I've learned so much! And I'm so glad I can give back now and help other women :) I can't believe I actually used to wear a 34 band! That's almost 10" larger than my actual size!!
But so far, I am in love with Ewa Michalak!! Her bras are amazing! The designs/styles are fun and sexy, and you can get the support and proper fit of a "big girl" bra without looking like you raided your grandma's underwear drawer! Lol! EM bras are a bit pricey, but honestly, I've spent more money on a Victoria Secret bra that wouldn't even compare to this! I don't think I can ever spend $68 on another VS bra now, knowing I can get a EM bra hand-sewn for the same price! And get a MUCH better fit!
I was finally able to measure and review this Ewa Michalak bra that I got from WildWolff a few weeks ago. This pink SM Malinowa Mgielka bra is sized 65FF. Despite having more than one prior owner, this bra was well cared for reflected by the very nice condition it came in. The bra is see through pink mesh, with darker pink lace trim and details. There are 4 rows of 2 Hooks in the back, and two little pink bows adorning the straps. I have not yet figured out my sizing in ewa, but the seller helped me out selling me this with ...another perfect fitting swim top. I think the band has stretched throughout its lifespan, because it measures longer laying flat and stretched out than prior measurments, but having more than 3 rows of Hooks helps to tighten it more which I like. When I first put it on I noticed my mid/upper back hurting, either because I had just been wearing an unsupportive VS bra, or because I needed to tighten it at the underbust. Which ever the case, that ache went away and did not return with future wears, which I am greatful for. I find this bra so beautiful, I would have been dissappinted if it wasn't comfortable or supportive enough! Fortunatly, I have been able to wear this bra and really love how it looks on me.
I am very short statured and short in the torso with narrow shoulders. I have an odd shaped rib cage and have postural problems and misalignments. My breast roots are fairly narrow, mostly centerful, somewhat FOB, close set when supported, somewhat soft tissue on top from weight loss and wear about a UK28G 30FF. The gore is low and the cups close set enough to be comfortable. The wires do not extend upwards too much at the gore and underarms and do not feel overly firm/harsh. The wires at the gore softly tack against my sternum. The wires sit perfectly under my IMF on one side, at one side but can slip a hair below on my other smaller side with a higher more narrow root. By the time my cycle came around I had some subtle quadding on the larger side but i was able to adjust things. My assymetry becomes very noticable in unlined/see through bras. But it's not enough to be a huge problem. The straps are close set enough but are almost too long. I did have to adjust them quite a bit. The cup height borders what I can tolerate (depending on the cut and style of the bra) but I am able to fill out the outer upper area enough. I really like this bra and want the black one. (Or maybe a similar black one) I debated getting on in 65F but I am going to look at similar bras and see what matches best. I love the designs of these bras, I don't sew much but it seems like there's both thoughtful aesthetic design and functional details that aid in properly supporting breasts. After ordering a different Ewa bra on a second hand site that was very dissappinting, getting these bras from WildWolff made my week. They also sold me a Comexim Swim Top and sent me bottoms and a Curvy Kate Bra. Out of them all the Comexim treasure Plunge fit best but all 3 fit better than a majority of my bras do. It's hard to find a perfect fit when my weight fluctuates my breasts seem to be the first part of my body to get the memo, but I am still excited to figure out how Ewa bras fit me and what size and styles work for me from this brand. This bra is gorgeous! If it would work for you, I recomend! Read more 540 more words
So comfortable! After a big weight loss my boobs went from being even and average all around to extremely narrow, very soft, functionally short and full on bottom, with immediate projection. I am also very close set, petite, and have very pointy nipples all the time (spacer bras are not great for me). My very specific requirements all point directly to Ewa Michalak bras. I've had several people recommend the SF style for my needs so I decided to try it. I like the S style from EM but my soft tissue does "settle" a bit throughout the day and I have to adjust everything back into place ...once or twice. I also have issues with lower gores or plunge bras with the soft tissue spilling into the center (it's tough being close set, narrow, and having soft tissue!). I do not have those issues with this bra! It's soft, comfortable, well made, and keeps everything where it's supposed to be all day. The wide foam on the straps is a nice comfort feature that I did not think I wanted but am glad to have. The fabric on the cups is just thick enough and my nipples line up with the seams so it's fairly modest but might not be be in a super tight t-shirt or in the winter. But I mostly wear it at home on lounging days so that's not a problem. It could be a bit more narrow for me, but with the tissue being soft it technically fills the cup, and finding a bra more narrow is an adventure on it's own. Read more 160 more words
marilynne me too! I like that it's unlined but the fabric is thick and holds everything in place so well. I also have a BM style coming any day now and I'm excited for that as well since SF and BM were the most recommend styles for me.
WildWolff SF was my favorite cut until I met BM, it'll blow SF out of the water. Which BM do you have on the way?
WildWolff SF was my favorite cut until I met BM, it'll blow SF out of the water. Which BM do you have on the way?
marilynne BM Antonina! I was going to get Antonina in CHP because it's so beautiful and then I was looking at BM and the one I liked most was Antonina so I went for it. If I love it I'll probably get it in CHP as well haha
I LOVE the antonina, either the BM or CHP are next on my list. Did you get it in 65FF or 65G?
marilynne I love the CHP Antonina it's been at the top of my list. I was wanting to try BM and after searching listings for a while and not seeing anything I decided to see what Levana had and splurge on one. I spoke with Judy at Levana in depth on sizing and she recommended a 65FF so I went with that.
WildWolff , 65FF for BM Antonina? (I'm jumping in to the conversation, Iknow...)
BraOdyssey you're welcome to join in! I spoke with a few people before deciding on 65FF for the BM style. Hopefully it works, it's my first try in the BM.
I'm so happy with this bra!! I requested a BM Koronkowy Tulipan made in the M cut, and Kasia let me know that they wouldn't be able to make it with the mesh cutout gore that BM bras usually have. That was totally fine with me since the gore of the BM bras tends to stab me ― the ultra-low gore of the M cut is one of the reasons why I like it so much.
My M Perłowy is my most comfortable and reliable bra (we've been through a lot together *wipes tear*). This bra is basically a black version of that with a different lace pattern. It's ...narrow and has lots of projection. My only issue with this M Koronkowy Tulipan is the same issue I have with my M Perłowy, which is that the lace edging along the top of the cup causes a bit of gapping that can't be fixed by tightening the straps because the straps are wide-set; however, it's a pretty minor issue. I definitely see myself wearing this bra as much as my other M cut bras.
I really have an inexcusable number of bras right now, so I'm gonna hold myself back from doing this again in the immediate future, but I probably will order a BM bra in an M cut again at some point. Read more 114 more words
This may be the prettiest damn bra I've ever seen (though the Katherine Hamilton Sophia is a strong contender). I have desperately wanted this from the moment I saw it during a random bout of going super deep in the archive of Ewa Michalak bras. Luckily, a very sweet Reddit user happened to have one for sale. I *LOVE* the extra straps! I think they totally add some spice to a low cut shirt or tank top, and it's great that they're adjustable. I die for the deep red/black polka dot pattern and the elegant black vertical seams. The band is a little loose on the loosest hook but ...feels alright on the second and third loosest hooks. From the reviews, I had read that this is a very open on top style and to size down in the cup if I could, but unfortunately I can't wave a magic boob wand and make Ewa un-discontinue this bra or make someone post a listing for this bra in the right size -- I love the appearance, so I figured I'd try out the 65FF. Well, all the reviews were correct. I have an even shape, and this is VERY open on top. When I'm wearing it, I look full on bottom. I am very thankful to the previous owner for including the cookies, because they definitely improve the fit. This bra has beautiful, wonderful, dreamy tons of immediate projection and is SO close to sitting in my IMF. But it's just not closed enough on top for me -- it would help if the cups were taller, but obviously this is a half cup style. The gapping on top is kind of awful on my smaller side without the cookies, but it's significantly diminished by the cookies (I added notes to each pic about whether I had the cookies in in that picture). There's less top gap on my bigger side either way, but the cup fits close to perfect on that side with the cookies. Whatever gap is still there with the cookies in is invisible under shirts (no lines), which is great news since you better believe I'm wearing this bra ALL THE TIME, under EVERYTHING. I wanted so badly for this bra to work for me, but it looks like I'm still going to need to work on finding fitting-comfortable-bra-number-2. However, I'm definitely keeping this since it's close to fitting and decently comfortable and SO PRETTY (no I am not obsessed shush), even though it's not perfect. This is my second Ewa Michalak bra (I received both on the same day), and it's a cup size up from the far-too-small S SomethingIcan'tspell 65F. This one doesn't fit either, but it's just as pretty (prettier) than the first! Read more 348 more words
Sorry to hear that it’s a bit roomy. It’s a really pretty bra, but I think an Ewa anomaly? I know I saw a blog post about alterations to it so I’ll have to find it and see if you might benefit from it. Welcome to to Polish side where we have projected cups and narrow wires!
Here’s the post, but I don’t think that it’s the answer that you need. It does, however, highlight that it is an odd fit.
"SomethingIcan'tspell"..... oh how that made me laugh! Welcome to the realm of Goldilocks Ewa padded bras. Hopefully you will find your "just right" size (& style) quickly.
As much as I love the extra lift and oomph her padded bras give, after spending a small fortune, I came to realize padded bras just don't work for my breasts. 😖
Even with this one not being your Goldilocks bra, the color compliments your skin beautifully. Hopefully you will get some use out of it!
You know I always thought this one was unpadded :)
Sovavosi it is, the cup is just lightly lined with cookie pockets. Speaking of which, I was NOT ready for the 5-minute struggle that was trying to get the cookies into the cookie pockets. Could Ewa have designed those pockets in a way MORE difficult to use???
Heh yeah, I gave up putting cookies in the CHPs. I'll just be more uneven 😎
Cookies in CHP are a pain in the butt.
I have this in a 65F which is now a bit small. Let me know if you'd be interested in a trade.
So the CP style is an unpadded bra with cookie pockets? How unusual....
So wouldn't that make it a multiway cup? 😄😋 Small cookies for a semi soft, or the full cup cookies for a padded..Versatile!
MamaPagan The CH is a padded half cup. I believe that the Onyx in the CH line is actually a multi-way. It’s pretty similar to the CHP if I remember correctly. Possibly narrower and more projected than CHP. At least that’s my understanding from reading reviews and blog posts about them.

Doh double comment. Sorry.
Calluna It is so much harder to keep track of the details on the styles I haven't tried. A mutliway half cup would be awesome, wouldn't it? I was just being silly with my comment (about an unpadded cup with cookie pockets so that it could in turn be "multiway" in it's ability to be unpadded without cookies, semi soft with small cookies, or padded with full cookies as I know it wouldn't truly be called a multiway due to that ability) but I still think it would be a neat idea! Though the cookie pockets would most likely show through the cup if the cookies weren't in, wouldn't they? I always thought the CH was a CHP but for the smaller cup ranges, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the additional info!
The CH description is: "Padded halfcup bra, perfect for low and broad neckline. Vertical seams give your breasts rounded shape.
The underwires at the center of the bra are higher than in our plunge (PL) bras, but lower than in our soft halfcup (HM) bras. This gives your breast very good support. In comparison to our HP style, the CH halfcup bra pushes your bust forward and upward more."
So now we all know! (I love learning new things & refreshing my memory!)
I can't believe Ewa is down to one bra in that style, and it is down to one size. I guess she is discontinuing it as well? Is she getting rid of all the smaller size range bras? Or maybe she will combine them with the "like styles" in the larger cup range ones, so like the CHP would cover the lower ranges as well or something? It would be very sad if she stopped offering the lower range styles, as I know many women love and need them.
No worries MamaPagan ! Yeah it’s sad that she hasn’t really updated the CH/CHP range lately. Would love to see more of the M and other petite cuts. Wishful thinking.
I would just like to see more festive patterns and colors that don't sell out opening weekend! 😄 Seriously though, Ewa needs to update all of her smaller range styles CH, M, 3DM, etc. We have several on here that I know have been patiently waiting with money in hand for new releases that never arrive. I get that the BM and SF are the most popular (as I do love them myself) but that shouldn't mean that the other styles get neglected. Each customer should be valued and their needs should be met.
This fluorescent gem came to me via AprilGoulding. I am head over heels for the colour of this bra - it is electric coral. I was a little nervous about trying another BM, as the previous one I tried - a 65F BM Baklazan (https://www.bratabase.com/bra/diy2a/) - was too shallow at the bottom of the cup. This bra, however, has the perfect depth. There is enough immediate projection for the wire to fit comfortably in my IMF. The height of the cup is perfect and stretch lace moulds very nicely to my shape. The cups of this bra do not disappoint. The straps, however, ...are another story - they are ridiculously wide and painfully cut into my underarms. I am quite petite and my shoulders are very narrow, so I am not sure if this is a common fit issue. The bra is blissfully comfortable for about half an hour, and then the straps really start cutting in. I am torn at the moment about whether or not to keep this bra. On one hand, the colour and cup fit are glorious, and on the other, the straps are a nightmare for my petite shoulders. Read more 91 more words
It looks really good on you. The strap situation is a tricky one. I find that the discomfort goes away after a wash and some wear, but we're all different.
Some anti-chafing cream might help also.
You have broader shoulders and it looks like the straps are angled in and also really tight. I think you could loosen the straps quite a bit and let them fall naturally on your shoulders. See if that makes a difference?
Another idea: if you are wearing the band on the loosest hooks, try getting an extender and hook it unevenly so that you basically have one extra hook at the top of the clasp (to make a row of 4 at the top). See if that loosens the armpit of the cup.
This looks so beautiful on you! Ewa straps are notoriously wide set.
Sonya thanks! They really are. It seems more noticeable in the BM cut, at least to me, than others.
cupandahalf these are great suggestions. Although I think part of the problem is that there is simply too much fabric at the armpit of the cup. It is simply wider than my torso
rachaelll As an FYI, MagdaBras4you had mentioned to me that she could have minor alterations done to bras before shipping them, such as shortening the band, or possibly moving the straps in. Since you plan on getting an Ewa bra from her, I would suggest asking her about this option. I am not sure how much it would be for this service, but for more delicate fabrics like the lace BMs that you are not confident on altering yourself, it might be helpful to have her take care of it as a less stress option. :-) (I tell you she really offers full customer service!)
OMG! MamaPagan this is the best thing I have ever heard. Could MagdaBras4you be any more wonderful? I will absolutely look into this option. I am 100% thrilled that a more competent seamstress can tackle this for me.
Indeed. I can shorten bands or lower armpit curves on padded no lace bras, but I agree, lacey ones, I would destroy in the process. :-P
Hmmpf! Pesky straps! I was surprised that the BM straps feel wider than your CHP. I had to do some investigating on your behalf. Lol
I put on a white BM under my red wine CHP. The colour contrast makes differences easier to see ;)
I was a little surprised, tbh, to discover that the BM does go up closer to the armpit. It's not that the straps are wider or even too wide for you...it's that you've got them angled in and pulled tight (I do this too!) So the outside rim of the strap attachment panel (that glorious panel that so many love and adore) is coming up on your tail of spence. I think that's what's causing your discomfort. I've often had to get less zealous about strap tightness. I often go way further than I really need. See how loose you can go without it slipping off. And, also, on the Fluo, that panel is made of that super thick, firm fabric and not soft lace like other BMs. On half lace BMs it's made of satin, which is much thinner than the Fluo fabric. That fabric is new and fresh and currently so unforgiving...it's what makes the band firm/tight on it also.
I hope you can make it work. It's a gorgeous bra and I was sad to see it go :(
AprilGoulding this is super helpful advice, thank you. I will try to loosen up the straps and see how it feels. Perhaps a half lace BM would be a good choice for me
I wish I had no wire wrinkles in my 65FF BM. I’m quite sure that I wouldn’t fit it a 65G/70FF cup depth (though maybe I ought to try it for bra science one day). I have not put my review up yet (it’s in the works after I get all of the Friday try on done) but one of my issues is for sure the straps. I feel like I have to wear them tighter in order for them to hold my boobs up in a better shape, but I feel like I am wearing them too tight as a result. That said, the initial discomfort does seem to dissipate so I don’t know if I have the straps too tight or just right. They definitely feel better on my shoulders looser, but I feel like I am also dropping more. This is partly why I really want to try it in 65F/70E.
Calluna That's how I feel in my Antonina until I put it on tightest hooks.
My Cabernet is quite snug as it is on the loosest hooks, so I don’t think that I can go tighter. But my 65F SM Wrozka is so close to fitting and more rounded than the BM, that I wonder if just the slightly taller cups with stretchy lace would make the difference. So there’s that...it’s partly why I am still keen on trying the BM in 65F/70E. I just have to save money again or do a swap.
This was the second purchase in my first Ewa Michalak direct order. Aesthetically, this bra does it for me. I love how the simplicity of the black contrasts against the electric pink embroidered flowers. It understated, and yet, over the top all at the same time. Swoon. The quality of the detailing is superior, those flowers are intricate and simply gorgeous. I love the thicker straps, they are really comfortable and they up the sophistication of the bra. Based on looks alone - this bra gets top marks.
I will freely admit that I choose this bra based on looks alone. I did not do my homework ...on the S style (SHAME). It is perhaps unsurprising then, that this bra is a total shape mismatch for me. I get a really pointy shape at the apex, the bottom of the cup is left unfilled and all the cleavage at the top. It is actually heartbreaking how bad this fit looks is in a t-shirt. I contemplated keeping the bra - but it really cannot be justified based on the fit.
Bummer! It really is such a pretty bra. This has always been one on my wish list. But I’d have better luck finding a unicorn than one of these in my size. So sorry it doesn’t fit. I wish she made more bras like this again. Especially with the pretty embroidered lace.
