I love this bra!! It is a little big in the cups, but I ordered some extra push up pads in case of this and when I add them it fits perfectly. I think if I went a cup size down it may be too small. Every other bra from every other company and Ewa Michalak that I have tried has gaped on me, but not this one!! It is also super comfy and the lace does not show much under tight tops - it shows less than the lace and seams on my pl milady. I will be buying another one of these in the same colour ...and more of the S bras in other colours!! Also, I went up a band size and down a cup size as suggested on the website, the band was quite tight when I first put it on but after a few wears it has loosened up and I'm now wearing it on the second hook, hopefully it won't stretch out too much more, but the size down may be too small... Update: 4 months later this is still my fave bra and the band has not loosened too much https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 95 more words
The band on this bra is SO tight! Mine was a custom order, though, so this may not be the case for all CHP Mak bras. It gives the same lovely rounded and projected shape as other Ewa Michalak CH and CHP styles and the color is a vivid tomato red. However, because I need an extender (or sometimes two) to wear it, the fit is pretty wrong on me, and the straps rub my armpits in an extremely uncomfortable way.
I think I am between cup sizes again, but I don't have a GG to compare it to, so I can't say for certain. This bra is a little incompatible with my shape, which is full in the centre, so I spill out a little bit/get some quadboob at times. Cups are quite shallow. Definitely minimizes. Not unwearable by any means.
This bra is hands down the sexiest thing I have ever worn. The cups appear a dusty mauve on their own, but are made of an incredibly sheer mesh that nearly dissappears against my skin, leaving only the black outlines framing my breasts. It gives me a very up-high, cleavagey projected look that still looks quite natural. I think Miss Underpinnings had it right when she described it as "makes it look look there's a lot LESS bra, and a lot MORE girl".
This bra has the same stellar quality and attention to detail we've come to expect from Ewa Michalak. The band is longer ...but less stretchy than other Ewa bras I've tried. The straps are completely adjustable, and there's no digging in anywhere.
The SM Nana runs about a cup size large (as compared to padded Ewa Michalak styles) and a band size small. My "usual" size at Ewa Michalak and other brands is 60H/28H, and this bra fits perfectly in a 65G. It has four sets of hooks in the back, and I wear it on the loosest or second-loosest set.
Because I sized down in the cup, the wires are VERY narrow. I'd say the wires are just right, but I do have to be quite careful to scoop properly, as there is NO room between the end of my root and where the wires start.
Really lovely bra, but it didn't fit as expected. It's very tight for a 65 band - fitting more like a tight 28 or 26, which works for me as that's what I measure. However, I ordered a cup size down after this one and it came with a much larger band, fitting more like a loose 28 or tight 30. Typical Ewa inconsistency! The cups are too big for me (admittedly I typically wear a 60G in the CHP style) and feel too tall so there is a lot of space at the top. The straps are also placed too wide for me and rub as a result. The wire width is good and the strap attachment to the cup is a nice unusual touch, although I'm not sure how durable it would be. The look and quality of the bra are both excellent.
This is my first Ewa bra and I'm in love (65G). I wear a 28GG in Freya and 30G in panache and parfait. Boob summary: narrow, projected, even, close-set, soft tissue, and splayed. Visually it's gorgeous, by far my prettiest bra. It looks just like it did in the website pictures. The band is firm, I measure slightly above a 28, and I found the 65 to be perfect.
Pros: -gore is low enough for close set boobs -feels very supported, no center spillage -gorgeous!! -comes with the little pads -weirdly smooth under a thin t-shirt for the all the adornment -dat projection -I'm splayed and never have cleavage, I totally have cleavage in this bra!!! -the ...narrow wires actually make sense on my ribcage, I don't have to bend them around because they just sit on the front part. -contains boob-sorcery, its like my boobs are floating in zero gravity.
Cons: -straps are a little itchy -shape is slightly pointed -so pretty you will want to strip of your clothes in public -feels a little stuffy with all the padding, definitely not a free-boob feel. -may have spoiled me for non-ewa bras
I love this and can't wait to get an SM next, or maybe a CHP. Read more 83 more words
This was the first bra that I ever truly loved and the first bra that ever truly fit me. I'm sad to see that it's been discontinued, as I ordered another (apparently my last) one in March of this year. It's still my go to bra when I need that nice, rounded shape that I love. The more I learn about proper bra fit, the more I realize that there are some not so great qualities to this favorite bra of mine. The gore, while I actually liked how high it was, ended up biting into the sternum a little bit. I could probably use a slightly larger ...band (32?) in Ewa Michalak sizing, though I'm hesitant to try because all of my other experiences with 32 bands from manufacturers like Freya have been so, so wrong. The cups were an excellent width, depth, and shape for my breasts. This bra alone won me over as a life long Ewa Michalak customers. If they were still making this bra, regardless of the slightly too tight band and the little bit of discomfort from the high gore, I'd buy it many times over. Read more 85 more words
I thought this bra was absolutely lovely out of the box. The color and embroidery on the cups are incredible. Unfortunately my enthusiasm lessened once I put it on. The cups are roomier than the S-style bras I have in the same size, so I have quite a bit of loose fabric at the top of the cups. I am very full on bottom though, so I may just lack the breast tissue to fill it out. The bra supports well but doesn’t quite give the lift and projection that the other styles do. It holds my breasts closer to my chest. I found the wires to be too tall in the armpit and too short in the gore, so it’s a bit stabby in both areas. This is the only bra I couldn’t wait to take off at the end of the day. So sad, but it looks like the SM style just isn’t for me.
I didn't think it was possible to have cleavage in a strapless bra until I put on the Toffi. What is this sorcery? Every strapless bra I've tried up until this point has been varying degrees of sadly hilarious failure, with the exception of the Freya Deco Strapless (4233). However, the Deco can't do to my boobs what this bra does: conjure up cleavage. It *almost* goes there, but still keeps my boobs too separate.
For a nude/beige bra, the Toffi is not boring. It spices things up with some lace trim at the tops of the cups. The cups themselves are quite rigid with some ...sort of molded foam material. The foam is not thick, however. The cups are also shallower than I expected. They are a touch too shallow in that they cut into my breast tissue. However, I am willing to make slight quadboob sacrifices in the name of cleavage.
The Toffi is actually quite comfortable. It has a short gore, which I was worried would stab me in the middle, but so far this is not the case. The band is firm, firmer than the 65G Chps I have. All in all, I am quite pleased to have a strapless bra that doesn't mash my boobs or make it look like my chest is trying to eat the bra. Read more 116 more words
I got this PL Onyks off eBay and despite some minor fitting issues, I love it.
One issue I found after wearing it for a few hours is that the gore digs into my chest a bit too much. I had this same exact issue with a 70FF - Ewa Michalak » Pl Eden (184) and I fixed it the same way I did with the Eden, which was to bend the wires until it fit comfortably. The other issue I have is that I wish the straps could be shortened more. Don't get me wrong, I love the comfort straps! But I can only adjust ...them halfway. I'll have to play around with them, maybe try crossing them over in the back, since the straps are detachable. The bra came with just the comfort straps so I don't know how the other straps would have worked.
Good news: no quadboob! My boobs do seem to "settle in" after a few hours, weighing down the cups a tad though. But I've come to expect this in all plunge styles that aren't molded cups, with the exception of Comexim. If I use the pads, I do get some quadboob, so I guess if I want to highlight my assets lol I can use these pads, otherwise the bra works just fine without them!
The cups are a black jersey fabric lined with black cotton, very comfortable to the touch. The band tightness is perfect. I like this bra, but I don't think I'll be getting any more PL style EM bras because of the gore issue.
[ETA]: I find the straps are much better when I cross them over in the back! So this bra will be good for racerback tops and the like. Plus the cleavage is kind of spectacular https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":o" />! Read more 200 more words
Flowers are super not my thing. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, the rest of the bra...
Fit/feel: The band feels pretty normal for a 30, to me. The cups are super narrow, which is glorious, the straps aren't super bulky and are fully adjustable (yay!) and it doesn't run too high under the arm. I tried the bra with the removable pads in, and it was just about perfect on the big side and a little loose on the small side. When I put both of the pads on the small side, I ended up with quad boob, so I guess I'm at a point ...where 1.5 pads on the small side would be exactly right. Oh well. My major beef with this bra, comfort-wise, is that the cups are kind of angled inward in the center, so the wires at the gore tilt inward toward your chest, which is rather uncomfortable. It's not a sharp, poky pain, but there's too much pressure for my liking. If I were planning on keeping it, I'd try to bend them outwards a touch. My SM Trefl kinda felt the same way at first, too, but now that one is ultra comfy.
Appearance: I like white, but the flowers are super not my thing (especially because they're pink). The cups are thin white foam, covered with this floral lacy mesh stuff. Meh. The wings are a double layer of mesh with white polka dots on the outer layer. Also kinda meh. All that said, though, the overall appearance of the bra is quite pleasant. It looks pretty nice under a shirt - perky, rounded, uplifted. Without a shirt on, it looks a little odd, though. It's a three-part cup, but unlike the usual balconette shape where there's a vertical seam rising to meet a diagonal one where the lower, outer segment comes up to attach to the strap, there's two lower segments and a more or less horizontal one across the top to which the strap is attached. The vertical seam is I think too tall for my breasts, so the horizontal segment kinda makes the top of my boob look flat. However, this is only noticeable when I'm not wearing any clothes over it, so I don't think it really matters. Read more 276 more words
I got this Chp Brzoskwinka from overdoll before my 65G - Ewa Michalak » Chp Milady (329) showed up. It put my mind at ease as to how a 65G Chp would fit! I really like this bra. I was looking for a light, not necessarily nude, bra that I could wear under lighter clothing, and that would give me a nice shape.
Much like the Chp Milady, the band tightness is perfect. I can use the loosest hooks to achieve a good snug fit. Wait, what is this? Consistency between EM bras? How can this be?? The straps are set perfectly for my short-waisted ...petite shouldered self. The underwires don't try to actively eat my armpits. The fabric of the cups is soft with a matte finish. I can only describe the color as "bubblegum peach". It doesn't scream PEACH but it is not pink either. The color is more concentrated on the lace trim on the band. The cups are lined with a soft pink cotton material. It's very comfortable.
I don't have any gapping issues at all, but I can produce some minor quadboob if I try really hard. I would rather have a tiny but of quadboob than have the cups be cavernous, though.
This bra is wonderful. It makes a good everyday bra that gives my boobs a lovely rounded shape https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 126 more words
I normally wear a 30FF or 28G, so I was worried about ordering a 65G just based on hearsay that some Ewa plunges run small.
When the bra first arrived, I thought I'd made a huge mistake, and the bra was entirely too big. However, after playing around with the band (I'm more comfortable on the middle - tight hooks) and the straps, I found that I actually filled the cups quite well.
The quality of this bra is excellent, and it gives me a yummy shape - sleek from the front, yet projected from the side with a very rounded pointy shape towards the apex. I normally dislike pointy ...bras, but this manages to look perky and natural, not 50s retro. I love the multiway straps.
On the downside, the straps, like those on most bras I own, are a teensy bit too far apart for my frame. Consequently, the edge of the cup/straps chafes and digs into my armpit. I have yet to decide whether the discomfort of this issue outweighs the nice things about this bra.
Also, I probably could have/should have ordered a 28 band. My underbust is about 28'' normal (not too tight, not too loose), and I feel much more comfortable on the 2nd - 3rd clasps instead of the first. This makes me worry about the useful lifespan of the bra for me. Read more 119 more words
