Wow this bra is comfy! I have extremely close set boobs and the gore was just low and narrow enough to not be a problem. Others have mentioned the boning on the back of band as uncomfortable, I actually think it makes the bra feel more secure. I have only tried the comfort padded straps, they are definitely nice on the shoulder, strap placement is on the wide side, freya wide. I have narrowish shoulders and these are barely close enough together for me. Shape is super projected which I am liking quite a bit. Unfortunately the wires are a touch wide (though narrow by UK standards), in this style. Definitely not as narrow as the S cut. A great bra, definitely not up to the aesthetic and construction quality of Kris Line, but good quality comparable to Freya, with a much better shape.
Very pretty bra but it was just not meant to be. The band was too loose and the cups were too small. It gave an overall good shape but just wasn't my size.
For me, it's basically happiness in a bra. There is something about that bright blue that just makes me super happy. I also love the little hot pink bow, and the hot pink on part of the underwires inside. It's like a secret fun thing.
I find that the band is stretchier than some other EM's in the same size (like my SM Wroszka, which is pretty tight). It's definitely a 30 rather than 29 like several of her models have been (handy for me because that's my underbust measurement).
It's very pretty. My only real issue with it is the straps: they do not fully adjust. With ...my petite frame and high set breasts, the straps are too long. This was always an issue with VS bras when I was in a poorly fitting size. Straps were always sliding down my shoulders. So of course I'll have to take the straps apart and shorten it, which is super annoying. I wish Ewa would just make all of her straps adjustable, but she seems to like to sacrifice the ability for cutesy strap design, which is irritating.
Oh well. The bra gets a 96/100. I love it very much, and it'd be perfect if not for those darn straps. Also, I'm a bit afraid to wash it in fear of losing some of that gorgeous color (the black of my Wroszka leaked a lot for example), but it will get one anyway. Hopefully it stays that perfect happy shade. Read more 141 more words
Band fits fine and I haven't a problem filling bottom of cup but I get gaping along top of cup. I believe the ch style is just too open on top for my fob breasts because the S and Pl cuts both are too small/give horrible quadboob in a 65GG.
Well, at this point I am certain this bra was manufactured incorrectly. Based on my own experience with it vs. other Ewa models, as well as what the review and measurements I'm reading for the next cup size up (65H).
So far in all of my Ewa bras, 65GG has been the best size. Until this one. This one is a bit too small, but not horribly so, and not small enough to cause quadboob.
The oddness starts with the fact that it's a 65GG with only 3 hooks! None of my other EM bras have less than 3 hooks (and my Gazeta has 4). Of course that confuses ...bratabase because it should come with 3. If there were a 65G 1/2, that would be more accurate for the size. I definitely quadboob out of 30Gs of all other models in that size I've tried on recently (which has been a few since I added some here), but this one is not quite that bad.
So anyway, it's weird. There's another person selling her 65H, which actually has less cup width than my 65GG, which also makes no sense. I think that something is just way off with the manufacturing of this particular bra. I'd measured the depth to be 10.0," and got the notification that my cup depth was too big. So I measured again, and it's really 10.3," which is apparently bigger than other 65GGs of this model have been. My Rokoko for example, in the same size, has a cup depth of 10," so I'm not sure why it would tell me the 10" I originally marked it was wrong-unless I'm right about the manufacturing issues.
All that said, I absolutely love this bra. It's very pretty. I find the lace to be nice, though not as soft as the lace of my Andorra. I have washed it, but haven't worn it much since the band is a little tighter than my usual 65s from her are. I plan to wear it with an extender for now (really, I only need a few more centimeters for it to be perfect) I think, but I'm in the process of losing weight again, so it should fit perfectly soon. Or at least I hope.
Anyway, would I buy this bra again? Probably not. I thought about selling it and buying the 65H that's available (and, annoyingly, custom now), but the measurements and cup seem wonky on it, too. So probably will keep this one. It's sexy and my husband loves it, so that's a plus too.
All of this definitely concerns me for future orders from her. I have one in right now as part of a small group, and I'm worried that the 65GG will be too small. I guess I'll find out in probably a month or so (manufacturing of one of them is going to take 2 extra weeks. Sigh). I'm excited and worried for it now. Read more 381 more words
The band on this one is quite stretchy and fits closer to the 70G CH Lilia in my drawer than the 65G CH Stalowka I swapped for it. The Stalowka was almost impossibly firm, but the Toffik is too big for me in the band. I don't know if that's because it's stretched out by the previous user, but the bra appears to be in pretty good condition, it's just quite stretchy.
I'm convinced, officially, that CH cups are a nightmare for soft breasts. The shape is lovely for someone who can pull it off, but with my jello boobs, there's just no way they're going to stay in the cup.
I do absolutely love the quality and color of the bra, though. It's a lovely warm honey beige, the padding is nice and thin (I don't feel like my boobs are being propped up by pillows like I do with some of the other padded brands). It's just a really bad shape for me.
Wow...definitely the sexiest bra I've ever owned! Also my first foray into the SM cut, and overall pretty successful. The band is a little tight for me (as expected), so I'm breaking it in with an extender, but I only need one extra hook. Wire width is still a bit wider than I prefer, but it's definitely manageable. The biggest problem is that the straps are pretty wide set - even more so than the S cut I have. (At least it seems that way. It could be that these straps have a wider strip of fabric where they attach and that's why they feel wider.) They do rub my armpits a bit, but it's better than it was the first day. Overall, this is one of my best fitting bras, and I love, love, love the look!
This bra is fantastic! I love the design - it is sleek and sophisticated and sexy. No bows, no frippery, but buttons and textured fabric galore!
The fit is also pretty great on me - if the wires were a little narrower, I would say this would be the perfect bra for me. I usually have a lot of trouble with bras accommodating my inner fullness, and some trouble with bras cutting in on top, and both of these issues are pretty well resolved with this bra. The gore could be either a tiny bit narrower or a tiny bit shorter for how ...close-set my boobs are, but it's not a major issue here at all.
Of course there has to be one "but," though - the straps on this bra are just downright stupid. The fancy trim running down the middle of the whole strap looks nice, but good luck adjusting them when you're wearing the bra, and be prepared for a five-minute ordeal even with the bra off... Other than that, though, this really is a fantastic bra, and I love everything else about it. Read more 89 more words
When I first got this bra, I was a little disappointed because I had "menswear" in my head, and the fabric and pinstriping are somehow not quite subdued enough to really fall into that category in my mind. I would say it is definitely a "pin up" style, though, and that's good, too.
The cups are a little too closed on top for my FoT boobs, and don't have quite enough room at the gore for my inner-fullness, so the shape is not 100% what I would like it to be, but the bra still fits quite well. It is more low-coverage than I expected, ...which is sexy, and it I do feel more supported than I initially thought I would when I saw how low-coverage it was. The straps drive me nuts, though... I have very narrow, sloped shoulders, so it is a rare strap that stays up on me, but between only adjusting half-way (and having a connector in the middle so you can't just force it to adjust further than it's supposed to) and being made of shiny, slippery fabric, I do find the constant strap-slippage to be really irritating. I knew I had to have this bra as soon as I saw it on EM's Facebook page. It's a very sexy design, but one thing disappointed me- the beige that lies under the black is quite a dark, ugly shade of beige.
This was my first CHP, and I won't be buying again. For reference, I love the S, SM, HM and CH styles, but I can't wear PL (I spill into the middle). With the CHP, I fit perfectly when I put it on, but after a while my breasts start spilling over the top of the cups. I have very soft breasts, and I can only ...describe the effect like this: if you make jelly/jello in a mold, and you put it into the fridge to set, but you've filled it right to the top rim of the mold, and you take it out before it's properly set, then the jelly will wobble on top and eventually spill out.
The band is very tight- I wore it 1-2 times a week for 5-6 months and I still need an extender. Read more 73 more words
EM S / SM bras are the best fit for me, and this one is no exception. Szafirek is made of stiffer material than S Fresh, so while it gives slightly stronger support than Fresh (not that Fresh is lacking in that department), it doesn't stretch to accommodate slight fluctuations in breast size like Fresh does. During certain parts of the month my bigger breast starts to bulge out slightly after a few hours of wear, but it's not noticeable through clothes.
As usual, EM's band lengths are a crapshoot- this one is too tight (I can close it, but I can't wear it comfortably without an extender).
Ah, the Burgund. So simple, yet so pretty. I got mine from a swap, and it is stretched out in the band, but I kind of expected that. No big deal as I have a Rixie Clip.
It's really a basic bra, but in a pretty burgundy color. It's also pretty comfortable. I'd been planning to buy a white bra to dye it this color, but when it popped up in a sale/swap, I couldn't resist. Certainly saves me from having to dye one myself!
I am not really sure what to say about it other than I love it. The only thing I don't like is the ...addition of a couple of big cheap crystals-one on the gore, and one on each strap. I saw at one point that EM had added a little rose that was dyed a similar color, and I think that was a much better fit than these silly crystals (which show through tighter knits). I'm probably going to remove them soon. Haven't figured out what I want to put there instead, but they're pretty silly. Read more 74 more words
I ordered this bra a few weeks ago, and kept it even though it was at least 1 cup size small because I NEEDED a decent bra for an event I had in two days! However, either I'm about to have my 1st post-partem period or my boobs have simply gone up in size, because it is now unbearably small on me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Great quality, very nice feeling fabrics, the cushioned straps are nice.
This is the 2nd EM bra I tried. The first was PL Onyx in 65gg which was perfect in everything except the cups, which were too small. I ordered the S Karmelki as a good neutral colored bra in 65gg because I now knew that the PL style runs small, well apparently the S Karmelki does too! It is too small, even with the pads removed. My measurements put me into a 30GG/H, I have yet to find the perfect bra, though.
I bought this bra in this size because my CH bras in 65G were now too small, and the S bras I had bought in 65GG were a good fit, but this bra is just too much too big for me to wear. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> The wires are wider than I'm used to in EM bras, so the straps rub under my arms, and I have nowhere near enough upper fullness to fill it out, so the cup wrinkles to the point where I think it's visible under my clothes. I really wish this one worked for me, but I think I'd need it at least one cup size smaller.
