The S cut, just like the CHP, simply doesn't work with my shape. Either I've been incredibly unlucky in the bras that I've bought - both have had a cup width of more than 15 cm, which creates numerous fit issues, apart from the wires ending up halfway around my ribcage. I need deep, narrow cups with an open top and lots of lower projection - I have an oblong, even shape, but most of my tissue sits in the middle of my chest, so I label myself as centre-heavy. The width of the cups makes the wires poke out from my underbust and not follow the shape ... of my ribcage, like they should. The cups are much too shallow, and it feels like my breasts are trying to escape both out the top and bottom. The straps are also waaaaay too wide-set, which is impressive, since my shoulders are the widest part of my body, and I hardly ever have this problem. Fit-wise, it's a fairly big no.

    Pros:
    - Removable pads
    - Soft materials, cotton on the inside of the cups
    - Three hooks with *four* settings!
    - Simple but stylish appearance
    - Nice beige colour and criss-cross texture which doesn't show through tops

    Cons:
    - The satin band across the cups is a lighter colour and is visible through light clothing
    - All the fit issues mentioned above.

The band runs much larger on this model than all my other EM bras. Possibly a whole size bigger comparing to the PL Slowianki, and a half size bigger comparing to the Cappuccino.
Otherwise it's my dream bra - the lift and shape are simply amazing. Everything is upfront, centered and round like no other bra managed to do for me. So despite the band riding up a little, I don't mind adjusting and hereby declare this CHP as currently my favourite.
(I removed the ridiculous bows from straps and gore - they are huge and the colour doesn't even match - what up? Bra looks much better without them)

I bought this one as an alternative to my strapless Deco for under halter dresses. It works pretty well so far, but it definitely runs smaller than my other S cuts in 65GG. I could definitely use a 65H in this one, but I'll keep the GG anyway as it's useful.

I can't say much about it so far, but it was a right pain in the arse to get the halter strap to attach. I won't be switching to the regular straps ever, so it's okay now, but prepare for a fight if you change them. Band is pretty stretchy, but for these kinds of bras for me that is expected since I'm actually 29" under bust rather than 30."

This is a beautiful bra but is simply to big. The band is looser then my other EM and the cup on this bra is just to big for me by at least a cup size or two. I normally need a 28 band, but I thought I'd take a chance with this size. Plus I've lost some weight, so there went the cups fitting. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I quite like this! It's the first unlined and unpadded bra I've ever been comfortable in. Every measurement I would use to gauge fit is dead on.

The embroidery is delicate and feminine without being fussy, and the wide ribbon bow is a nice touch.

I would point out that it's actually not a long enough band for me, but it's perfect with an extender, so I'm calling it a fit.

UPDATE: Wore it for about two hours, still felt awesome, but when I took it off, I found a couple of raised welts. This makes me sad!

I love, love, love this bra! Even though this is the 65 aka 30 band, it fits like a 28 band. The underwires actually fit my breasts and ribcage! No poking wires or gaps at the outer sides of the cups. I could probably use a cup size smaller as I need to use the included pads to fill out the entire cup. However, I also haven't been exercising due to health issues and as a result my pecs are smaller then they normally are. This bra is hands down one of the most comfortable bras I own.

    • Oooh, nice! I haven't tried that one yet (also a 65GG), but I just bought it for my mom (38HH). Glad to hear it's comfy!

    • Just be aware that if you are a true 65 band it might be tight. The website says recommends that people size up, I didn't as I normally wear a 28 band.

    • I measure 29" underbust, and wear either looser 28Hs or tighter 30GGs (which Ewa's usually are), but thanks for the warning :)

Ewa Michalak once again - super quality, nice tight band. It's definitely not a 30. The fabric is great, really soft, and the structure is amazing.
The band is really a tight 28, so even a 27 might actually be able to wear this for a while.
Unfortunately the cups are a little too big for me. I highly recommend this bra to someone who is an actual 65GG in Ewa Michalak.

I am a fairly even and projected breast shape. I have average-to-narrow roots with a slight omega shape. My best fitting bra is a Cleo Lily in 30G.

Although my size in Ewa's Bm cut is definitely a 65GG, I think a 65G would have been more flattering for me in this HP. While it does fit reasonably well, I feel like a smaller size down would give me a more uplifted look. The wings feel like they come up a little high on me, as well, and while they're not *uncomfortable*, per se, they're not what I prefer in an ideal world.

I think I could also ... do slightly narrower wires, but I am not sure if this is an issue of the cup feeling a little too large or if it's just this cut.

The bra's design is very, very pretty. It's a little more than I bargained for in some ways, however - I didn't anticipate how obvious the little ruffles would be underneath clothing. The design has a lot of texture to it, which is not the best for casual wear.

The band is nice and firm. I have no problems with it.

I am totally in love with this bra! Easily my comfiest bra so far. First bra I've ever owned that sat in my inframammary fold and I didn't have to readjust it...It is magical! Like my boobs are getting hugs, all day. Having three hooks in back is also excellent, and really seems to help with the back bulges I get in my other bras (I see that the Ch Onyx appears to only have two hooks in this size, why?? I have been coveting that bra forever!)
Alas, it *may* be a cup size too big, which I was thinking might happen-- my current measurements place me in ... between 30G and 30GG. It gapes a bit on the top, but on my fuller time of the month I'm able to fill it out well enough. Everything stays in place with normal movement, bending over, etc, and you can't tell under a tshirt, so I'm counting this bra as a win :]
Also a note, I love the colour... Its perfect for me to wear as a "nude"-- hurrah options!

Boy have I been lazy with my reviewing lately....

When I saw this bra on facebook, I was very intrigued. It's pretty and cute, but could it possibly be adult enough for a 29 year old? I wasn't sure, but I ordered it anyway.

The pink is bright, but the delicate gray with polka dots really accents it well and highlights it nicely, so it's not so over the top. The uplift is AMAZERING. Seriously. I couldn't believe it. Better than any other Ewa unpadded uplift.

In person it's just gorgeous, and again the materials are great and comfy. It doesn't look juvenile at all actually, thankfully. And even though it's ... pink and a little frou-frou, my husband LOVES it. Thinks it's pretty sexy, especially for a pink bra. Hooray!

As for the underwear: They're pretty good, but there is a little puff detail going on at the ends of a tiny bow on the front that just HAD to go. I am an adult! A nearly 30 year old women does *not* want puff balls on her underwear, especially not a sexy thong. Now that they're gone, the underwear is great. Comfy materials too.

  11. Sm Motylowate (562)

Not sure how I managed to forget to review this one, but apparently I did. So here goes...

Yet another marvel from Ewa. This bra is gorgeous. I adore the deep blue coloring and the cute lavender floral details on the cup. I actually hate florals for the most part, but this is just simple and pretty and really works on the bra. They do not overpower the bra like some (I'm looking at you, pink/green/orange Samanta bra that I saw via fb last week. Shudder.), they are just perfect.

Another mesh one that is very comfy and great quality. Love this bra.

Also to note about the matching underwear: ... They are FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. Seriously. I have NEVER in my life-not once- found a pair of underwear that fits my butt perfectly and doesn't cut into my hips. Not a single pair until this one. I have decently sized hips, but not much booty. So usually I find myself with so much extra junk in the trunk in just a regular pair of bikini cut underwear that I nearly always stick to thongs now (I save those few dumpy pairs of bikini cut underwear for my period where they rightly belong). Even if I sized down to a small, there is always extra material my butt doesn't fill up. This pair is just magic. It fits perfectly, it's pretty, and I don't have to worry about it cutting into my hips unflatteringly-so I can wear it under dresses. I am SO HAPPY!

I realize I've just spent so much more time talking up the underwear than the bra, but really, both are amazing. The Motylowate is pretty much sold out, but if you have the chance to get this bra, I say do it. You'll be happy you did. And if you're of the small butt/wide hipped variety like I am, go for the matching underwear. You won't regret it!

I've only had this bra for a few days now, so I haven't fully formed my opinion yet (which probably says something, given my previous reviews).

I absolutely love the look of it. From the front, it's great. It's sheer, it's uplifting, it's sexy.

    However.

From the side, it is clear that the bottom is a bit too shallow. From other photos I've seen, it looks like it may have been made wrong. It's definitely an odd shape on bottom, but at least it's not noticeable through clothing. It's undoubtedly a sexy bra, but the sudden shallow bottom is throwing me a bit. I can't ask my husband what he ... thinks because I know he'll love it, so I don't know what to do. I feel like I'll likely keep it. It is pretty great from the front. Who knows what happened, but that's the risk you take when your bras are handmade by smaller companies.

As for the comfort level? Shockingly high considering the material, but it's a good mesh. I've got 3 mesh EM bras now, something I never thought I'd say. Normally you don't associate mesh with comfort, but Ewa does mesh fabric properly. I can't even tell I'm wearing the fabric-it's just that comfortable.

I'm marking the appearance of this bra as good. Really, the appearance is great, but I can't say that it's excellent due to the bottom of the cup being weirdly shaped.

I DID IT! I HAVE CONQUERED MOUNT MICHALAK!

This bra's cups fit me perfectly without the asymmetry pads and give me the teeniest bit of (pretty appealing) overspill with them in place. Wire width is good, gore height and width work, and--MIRACLE OF MIRACLES--the straps aren't cutting my arms off!

How? How, you may ask, did I achieve this nigh-impossible feat?

By ordering a band size too small and wearing an extender.

    BAM! Take that, stupid straps.

But seriously, I have tried the SM in a 70G before and it was a hot mess. Why an S in 65GG with an extender works not just better but infinitely better is beyond me. And since I'm at the top of my weight fluctuations and the bra is brand new, I should be able to ditch the extender soon, and this little beauty and I will live happily, perkily ever after.

Too small in the band, and the smallest bit too big in the cups. Because of the tight band, the wires dig into my sides after wearing for a while - gave me a bruise and chafed me raw. Little bit too wide in the wires.

    • If the Lucy in a 30 felt tight, I'd definitely recommend a 70 in EM bras.

When you say the cups are a fraction large and too large, respectively, is that with the asymmetry pads already in place? (Or is this one of the bras that doesn't come with them?)

Try this one on with an extender to see what it does to the cup -- it's possible it only looks a fraction too small because the tight band is making the cup smaller than it otherwise would be. If that happens and the cups look too large on both breasts, you'll probably want a 70FF. If not, then try a 70G.

    • Awesome! :) Thanks so much for the tip. This is actually one that didn't come with the asymmetry pads. I'm going to order an extender tonight and see how it fits with that on! Again, thanks so much. Fingers crossed!

I've been fitted 70GG in this bra (my usual UK size is 30G/GG) by a specialist shop in Prague, but after I got home and wore the bra for a while I realised it was too big, both in the cup and in the band. I went back to the shop and exchanged for a 65GG. This bra is perfect, and my new favourite. I love the shape it gives me, it really pushes my soft-tissued FOB breasts together for a dramatic plunge. The gore was a little painful on my rib-cage for the first couple of days, but now it's just fine.

So far it's quite comfy, which is a plus. It's also quite pretty, which is also a plus. As for the fit-it's a bit small, but not too bad. It basically *just* fits, and I could probably wear it in a 65H just fine. I traded an ill-fitting PL Perelka for this bra, and it was a good choice. It's a bit worn, but has plenty of life left in it. Band is too big at this point, but I'll take it in as needed.

I'd say it's just a bit smaller than my other Ch (the Biszkopty) in the cup, but gives the same effect. In other words, ... my husband likes it.

The only thing I don't like about it are the thick straps. They're not fully thick, so it looks a little funny. I am not sure why EM chose to design the bra this way, but it doesn't detract from anything, it's just a bit silly.

Overall, I like it, but I don't love it. Nice color and I like the detail in between the cups.

Update 8/4: It's pretty worn, which I didn't realize when I traded for it. I really got the picture when the strap broke! That was unfortunate. I think it's fixable, but very irritating. Bah humbug.

I put this on right when I woke up this morning, and I haven't taken it off all day. It's a little tight in the band, but I'm hoping it will stretch out with wear. Right now I'm more comfortable wearing it with an extender (2 extra settings, about an inch added to the band). The HM cut has proven to be a bigger success than the SM styles - there's enough depth at the bottom, and there's not a hint of quadding, thanks to the open top. The wires are just a bit too wide, but it's not noticeable and I don't get stabbed in the ribs ... at all.

The embroidery is the exact same as on the Ewa Michalak Sm Summer Time (554), with a different colour palette (hot pink instead of apricot). The beige base is lighter than the Summertime and is an almost perfect skintone colour on me.

My one complaint would be that the big bows on the straps easily peek out of wide necklines and under tank top and dress straps. I'll probably remove them when I get the chance.
