Black I have empty space under my arm because the wires are very-very wide. Pain in my shoulder after some time. Push down my booby on the top give a very pointy look. The material rubbed me. The whole bra was very unconfortable. The blue/black was a little bit better than this one. I had to send it back. (During this time I used a 34JJ - Panache » Tango Ii Balconette (3251) )
Blue-Black variant: This bra was a disaster. I have empty space under my arm because the wires are very-very wide. Pain in my shoulder after some time. Push down my booby on the top give a very pointy look. The blue-black varinat was a little bit better than the black one. The material rubbed me. The whole bra was very unconfortable. I had to send it back.
Oh my gosh. The shape this gives is so pointy and strange. It does its job tho--everything's held in, no bouncing. I haven't worn it for exercise but i wore it to work (fast food is more of a workout than yoy think) and it was soooo chafey after a couple hours. Ouch!
I found the fit of this bra to be similarly poor as the 28E - Freya Active » Moulded Sports Bra (4892). With my wide-rooted, shallow boobs, I quadboobed, had armpit fat, and couldn't fill out the bottom of this bra. I think it would fit better for someone with full on bottom breasts. The gore is similarly too high and wide and squishes my breast tissue. The straps do not adjust to be as long as other bras might.
Here is yet another sports bra that works better for full on bottom breasts. I'm having the classic wide-rooted, shallow-breasted issue of not being able to fill out the bottom, quadboob on the top, and armpit fat sticking out of the sides of this bra. The gore is also too wide and high, which causes it to smash into my boobs, rather than resting in between them. I also tried it in 28F, which made the quadboob less apparent and the armpit fat less of an issue, but the inability to fill out the bottom was even worse.
Aside from the serious fit issues, I find the straps to be stiff and difficult to adjust. They might not even be long enough for other women. It seemed like the racerback hook they included would be useful, except that would make the straps way too short.
This is my first close to well-fitting sports bra. Before this bra, I had choose between the pains of squished boobs or the pain of jiggly boobs when exercising, but no more of that! Combine that with my favorite purple and green color combination, and I'm actually motivated to exercise when I wear this bra.
That said, I have some fit issues with this bra. The wires run a bit too wide, but even so, my breast tissue still fills the cup nicely. The gore does not sit flat, but I'm not sure if this is by design or because my boobs are too close-set for such a high gore. In any case, because of the floating gore, I have to scoop my breasts apart in the middle once in a while. It's not uncomfortable at all when I'm exercising, but it's not perfect.
First of, I got this bra from another user, and I am very grateful.
Now, on to the fit.
The band is the firmest 28 I've ever tried, which is fantastic for me, since I usually would need a 26 band (26.5-27 inch ribcage) and this feels like what that size would be. I can breathe easily and put several fingers underneath, and it is firmly in place, which is a first for me, especially with the cups (mostly) fitting. I have to agree with another reviewer who stated that a true 28 band would need to size up, since this band fits me and my ribcage is more of ...a 26 band.
The straps are very comfortable, and don't feel like they're going to fall off my shoulders, which is also fantastic, since I have tiny shoulders.
The cups are my only issue. The depth seems good, although it does come up quite high as a sports bra usually would, so it's hard to gauge whether or not that means a whole lot. Ordinarily I would be a 26HH or J, and they seem to fit alright into it, though the center part (I suppose it's the gore, although this model has no wires, and I've only ever had under wired bras before, so I'm just guessing) doesn't tack due to center fullness. The cups are also a bit wide, and seem made for someone shallower than me, as there isn't enough lower projection and the cups wrinkle a bit at the bottom due to this. I am also fairly high set, and this bra would probably work best for someone with average set breasts. The shape is also quite retro and pointy, very east-west on me, but some of that is due to the shape of my breasts not quite being right for this bra. However, I have worn it all morning running(hobbling, really, because I can't run anymore) around the house, making soup for my sick husband, and it will probably be great for indoor/house activities where I don't really care about how my chest looks, and just want to be well supported and comfortable.
Overall, the band runs snug for anyone looking into this bra, and the cups are a bit wide and shallow compared to my shape, but it is very comfortable and easy to move around in. Despite the gore issue, it seems to keep my breasts from knocking into each other, which is good. =^__^=
The bra is very sturdy and supportive. Only problem is that the wires are too wide for me so there's empty space in the cup under my armpits. I'll try wearing it for a while and see if it works, I guess it could have been better suited for wider roots.
Underwired, lightly molded-cup sports bra with J-hook for racerback option. Has 4 sets of eyes for 4-hook closure. Bra is black with white bits including stitching details and hooks and eyes.
Band is tight.
~~~~~~~~~~ Fits, kinda. Not enough to keep. Only wore it a couple times.
CUPS: Molded, but malleable. Not made for my boobs. Way too tall. BAND: Very, very tight. I can wear it. Very supportive with 4 hooks. CUP DEPTH/APEX: Depth is okay, but the apex is too high for me. Lots of empty space at the tops. STRAPS: Fine for me. Only partially adjustable. Have to let them out to wear them hooked in the racerback position. Too wide set for my frame. COMFORT: Good. If it fit me better, I'd probably really like this bra. AESTHETICS: Good, I guess. It's black with white stitching. It's a sports bra. Kinda fits like a breastplate on me, but I'm short with short boobs.
~~~~~~~~~~ Will be listing as it doesn't really fit me.
I'll have to try this bra in a DD to really see if it can work. It does give a pointy shape that I don't like, but that's acceptable if the support is good enough. The band does seem pretty firm... It's hard to fully judge with cups that are too large.
I'm not a fan of this bra. The band seems to run true to size, I'm a 26 and the band felt a size too big (if not more). Cups were too big but still managed to give me an AWFUL pointy shape. The gore is also too wide for me. It wouldn't work in any size.
Got this bra when I was figuring out my shape and size, now I'm just using it as a sleep bra. The band seems nice and firm, but is still too big for me, but that's fine for sleeping in. The cups are filled all the way, and it cuts just a bit into my tissue at the top (My root goes very high on my chest, all the way up to my collarbone, and this bra just isn't open enough on top for me. The gore doesn't lie flat against my sternum, and when pressed closer, the cutting in is even more apparent.) a 28H or HH ...would probably work better. It isn't particularly pretty, but again, I'm just wearing it to sleep in, so that's ok. My chest feels a little compressed, but is is a sports bra, so that makes sense. If my chest grows yet again, it will probably get listed on here. (My chest seems to grow about an inch every year. It went up half an inch since I bought this bra a few months ago.) The straps are, as usual, too wide for my narrow frame, and don't adjust short enough, but they are very soft and comfy. The wires are too wide, ending on my ribcage, but since the band is too big, it isn't too noticeable most of the time. (The seam on the cup ends at the side about where my root is, the wires are quite a bit past that.) The shape is very retro and pointy, which is not particularly my favorite shape, since my breasts are rounded and I prefer a more natural, true-to-my-shape look, but again, since I'm just sleeping in it, it isn't an issue. The underarm area is nice and rounded, and doesn't cut in like many of my bras do, which is nice. Overall, despite being the wrong size and shape, it's relatively comfy for what it is. I am a fairly even and projected breast shape. I have average-to-narrow roots with a slight omega shape. My best fitting bra is a Cleo Lily in 28GG, though I think a 30G would be more comfortable in terms of band length.
Great for breasts with a decent bit of projection. The colours are very nice, too - a great bra to wear if you like running or exercising in just a sports bra.
I have this one in beige (my other two were in black and white, different cup sizes but same band size). The band feels tighter than in the other colorways - I got an extender for it. Otherwise it fits in the usual manner (can't fill the top of the cup) but is still very supportive and comfortable.
I think I'm in heaven. I've never had a cup sized bathing suit and let me tell you, it's totally worth it. I've always wanted a racing/sports bikini because I like doing laps, but I hate wearing one pieces that take forever to put on and take off, which is especially inconvenient when you need to use the toilet. This is the perfect hybrid. While this doesn't support as much as my Panache Sports Bras did (even though they were too big), the fit is really nice.
There are actually two stretchy bands which confused me at first. There's an inside beige bra that is a moulded unpadded cup ...and then there's a crop top non-underwired colorful over part with a band as well.
The straps only just adjust short enough for me, unfortunately there is no racerback option. Lycra tends to stretch out in chlorine, but hopefully that won't be the case here.
The underwires are the perfect amount of firmness to me and don't bother me at all. The band is true to size and very comfortable. The gore tacks and is what I would call balconette height. Unfortunately, the top colorful crop top part doesn't stay put lower than the bra and curls up a little but but stays underneath the wires.
It's unbelievably comfortable and gives just the amount of support I want. Not sure how this would fair in larger sizes, but I imagine that it would end up too shallow and not supportive enough, though wearing this is water I'm sure would alleviate some of those issues. Read more 151 more words
This fits *much* better than the 28E in the cups. The straps are placed slightly wider though, enough that I may not be able to use this bra for yoga, though I can use it for running with no issues. I was afraid this bra would be less supportive in 28F, but it's not - it's just less squeezy.
Would you say this is true to size or does it run big? I am also a 28E
