This bra worked for me but I got it too big. At the time I was a 30GG and now I'm a 30FF. The band is snug. This bra has not been used many times as it was too big in the cup, but I did wear it occasionally for light workouts. I personally am not a fan of underwired sports bra.
This bra doesn't get any points for appearance. Whenever I wear it, my husband grumbles and I feel a little bit like a grandma. The bra does a good job at containing my girls and keeping them in place but it is clearly visible under thin shirts and the straps are very wide and feel like they're going to slip off.
It was a good sports bra when it still fit. The look was very pointy, but not of importance to me while being active. It definitely kept my breasts from choking me out while hanging upside down.
This bra is very comfortable and supportive but the band is VERY tight. The fabric is thin, so nipples can be seen through certain shirts. This isn't the prettiest bra and the cups are moderately pointed.
First bra in my correct size! There is a bra underneath the top layer of fabric. It has great coverage; a lil modest and a lil showcasing, like just the top part about 1/3. Hides nipples well so far, haven't tried it in the water as yet. Holds and supports my close set, fob heavy 32H/K breasts, when I jump, there is a minimum to moderate amount of jiggle, but it holds me in really well. I also like the backless design, it still supports even with that!
This bra seems okay. I haven't tried it for exercise yet. It's too wide, as all sports bras are for me, so it cuts into my armpits uncomfortably. It does seem better than my 30H - Panache ยป Sports Bra (5021) in that respect, though. I think if I went up a cup size it would be too big, but the gore doesn't seem to want to sit flat, either. It's not overly comfortable or overly uncomfortable. I'll try to report back once I've actually tried it for exercise.
It's very supportive, but it's not the right size for me. The cups are a little too small and the band is definitely too small - I used a bra band extender to make it fit. The band is really unflexible and difficult to put on. But it is super supportive so I use the extender and it works well enough.
On the hunt for a bra to wear casually (not necessarily as a sports bra), this is actually pretty great. I feel like everything is well tucked in and reasonably supported. I do feel like the edges of the bra are a little harsh - though perhaps that would go away once I got used to wearing it. As a sports bra, it is low/medium impact at best for me (nothing compared to the support of my Enell bras).
But, despite all it's good qualities, I won't be keeping it. I don't love the shape it gives me, and it's not quite comfortable enough for me to want to wear it regularly. Plus, the lack of gore (of any sort) is annoying and there isn't anything I love about it enough to redeem that.
I found this remarkably comfortable but it offers me no support at all; I might as well be wearing a bralette. I wouldn't do light yoga in it, let alone run. It could be that I got too big of a cup size (I'm probably more of a US 32F than a US 32G, but Amazon didn't distinguish between UK and US sizes). But I seemed to fill it all right, it just let my boobs hang there. It would be all right for an "around the house" bra - it fits quite a bit like my cotton unbras and so on - but the polyester material isn't as luxuriously comfortable as those, so it's kind of worst of both worlds.
Pro: ~ With a cup size that fits, this is so comfortable for pms-swollen breasts. ~ Vintage bullet bra shape does well under sweaters and button down shirts. ~ Excellent support. Yes, it looks totally silly as a sports bra, but your breasts *don't bounce*.
Con: ~ The straps do NOT shorten enough. You can see in the angle shot that there's space against my sternum, even though the straps are adjusted as short as they go. The center gore does lie flat when I pinch the straps 2 inches shorter, which means it will be fine once I alter them. ~ The gore comes up very high on my chest. ~ The cup and band sizing are weird. My ribs are 26.5-27" and I'm generally wearing 28E bras right now...except for this one.
my shape: very short, short torso, proportionately short breasts, disproportionately broad shoulders, wide roots, FOB, inner fullness, projected.
This is the best sports bra I have owned. The underwires are wide enough but not too tall so they don't stab me in my armpits. I had to sister size down to 36H (as I usually do with Freya) because the band was too big in 38. This bra fits me better than the Panache sports bra (I have it in 38GG), but I can't say the fit is perfect. No matter how big a cup size I try, the gore in Panache sport doesn't sit flat against my sternum but the top part gapes.
This Freya sports bra doesn't sit against my sternum either but the overall ...fit is much better. I think this problem has something to do with the depth of the cups but I don't really know. This doesn't come as high up in the front as the Panache one but is supports better around my armpit. The shape in the front is more like V-neck shirt and that works very well for me since my boobs lack tissue around the top middle part but are quite full on top everywhere else (is that even possible...).
I haven't tried this bra in very hard training yet, but it does perform well in little jumps and jogging. It doesn't eliminate all bouncing but it definitely makes the little movements much more controlled and comfortable. I don't think any bra could stop all bouncing since my boobs aren't very firm and I do like to be able to breath. Read more 142 more words
This is the first close-to-well-fitting sports bra that I have. The previous one I had was a Change compression bra that gave me a horrible case of the uniboob and that felt so tight it was kinda hard to breathe (although it did work! Just was not very comfortable).
This one feels kinda tight around the band, but overall - stable and good. Really reduces bouncing around which is good. I believe the band will stretch over time and it's better to have a more stable bra band for a sports bra (and i can always try to use a band extender for a while). I said that the comfort is "okay" because of the a-little-too-snug band, but overall it's good!
The gore doesn't tack, in fact it sits rather far away from my sternum. But as far as I tried it on, it didn't seem like too much of an issue. I yet have to see how it works while doing sports! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I bought this bra in pink and in black to replace my panache sports bra, which was really uncomfortable. When I wear it I feel smokin' hot! I am happy with it generally but wouldn't recommend it for running or jumping around a lot, it seems to gape at the top, so the goods wobble around like jelly! Still it was the best sports bra I found considering I was previously wearing 2 bras at the same time to get the support to go running. In the bra shop yesterday the assistant told me that the gaping at the top problem is something lots of wearers of this ...bra complain about. I just bought a shock absorber bra from her which I was skeptical about because it's wire free but I am so so happy with it. Just a bit sad that that one only comes in boring black or even more boring white. If you're thinking about getting this bra definitely get fitted in it in person if possible and compare with the SA one because I think it's better. Read more 72 more words
This bra seems very similar in construction to the Soft cup sports bra, I added a new model because it has a different code number. It's also been quite hard to measure, since it's a soft cup and doesn't have cups actually.. The colour is lovely and the materials are soft. The fit however is not really ideal for me, it's very flattening on top and creates a pointy shape.
i had been looking into this model for some time, but as i suspected, it doesnt work at all. the cups have way too much space at the top, so its empty on me because thats where i have very little fullness. theres also a ton of space at the apex, so maybe its just a whole cup too large? the band is snug, but only at the front of my ribcage, not at the back. the wires are too wide, but that was to be expected. the straps feel fine, and the gore doesnt lie flat, but im not sure if thats the way its designed.
all in all this one was a fail for me, but one i expected, so not a big deal.
Gore wouldnt tack for anything. Wires are SO soft, its insane. The bra felt simultaneously too big (wrinkling where the apex should be, empty space at bottom of cup) and too small (0.5" floating gore, boobs couldnt fit in cups). I guess my apex was too high, and it couldn't handle my center fullness. Minimum bounce reduction. Design is kind of cool tho, has an additional UU wire on top of the underwire, stronger underwires wouldve accomplished waayyyy more IMO.
